Me: Female athletes should earn real money! They should be multimillionaires!!! They work so hard!! They're leaders!!! They have smart ideas about community and they always invest back into leadership and sports for girls!!!!
Serena: *has now earned a total of 1 billion dollars in tennis salary and prize money*
Me: Hell yeah!!!! Go Serena!!! The highest paid female athlete in the world!!! They pay you so much because you're such a community leader, right? So did you invest that money back into women's sports? I bet you own like half the women's sports teams in the world by now, right?
Serena: Nope! The only sports I invest in are blood sports! UFC and NFL. You really thought I was gonna help other female athletes succeed!?? And take away my crown!??!? Hahahahahaha silly peasant 😂 Oh wait you want feminism huh. Go look at my venture capital fund's webpage. 50% of the startups I've invested in are founded by women. Okay go post that to a Buzzfeed article or something.
Me: Gee... 50%... well I guess that's better than 40%.... And how much money have you given that 50%? Because your 5 biggest investments were in brilliant male ideas like blood sports.

Her annual 230k salary probably barely covers her property taxes#and expensive vegan groceries lol#also I don't want to get into all the TUE's Serena gets granted... but like I get it now I guess#If I could earn money like that by taking cold medicine before matches... worth it??#I mean the NFL and UFC run on TUEs and doping.
