gotta say i think cutting out the part where ellie and david fight the infected together was a mistake
#could've replaced scenes with his cult community since they didn't add much anyway#'i'm afraid of you' why tho#'you're a dangerous person you've proven that' has she#all show david's seen is ellie killing a deer then shooting a couple times into the air and falling off a horse#i feel like they relied too much on people's preexisting knowledge of the game#where david actually witnesses ellie killing many of his people and fights off the infected together with her#so he knows for a fact that she's strong and capable#and has delusions that they're some destined duo (literally says they make a good team)#idk
