I read an article about the topic of milk being the beverage of choice for villains, and explained how it symbolizes various childhood events. We were told to drink milk to grow up big and strong, and (most of us) were breastfed with our mom's milk. For many characters (villains in particular), milk creates the distortions of a safe, happy childhood.
And what if I applied this to Norman Bates, who is never mentioned in the many milk analyses articles I looked up for this little tumblr post?
