Listen. Stobin scene for season 5 - i need it!!!
Steve lying on his back in Robin's bed, feet to her headboard, reading a magazine or something. Dressed like he slept over and listening to Robin talk about Vickie.
Then Robin (because she has no impulse control because of her adhd) will launch herself onto her bed, effectively crushing Steve beneath her because she landed across his stomach. Even though he swears at her that she almost broke his ribs (not even complaining about the strain in his still healing demobat wounds because she would feel incredibly bad about it (also because of her adhd because she would blame herself for forgetting about it even though she didn't and just has terrible impulse control so it's literally not her fault but ...you get it) he will simply adjust her a bit that it doesn't put too much pressure onto his abdomen. She will continue her monologue and he will continue to listen before putting the magazine away and reaching down to tuck her hair behind her ear. He will look Robin in her very distressed eyes and assure her that it's going to be fine. Just like he fell platonically in love with her, there's NO WAY, Vickie won't. He's sure of it. Anyone with common sense would - and if she doesn't, then Vickie isn't worth it.
Steve sits up and makes a fist with his hand, pinkie sticking out and lifts it in front of her face. Robin sighs dramatically and does the same, tapping her pinkie with his twice before surging up to hug him. He holds her tight. "You're amazing, Robbie. That girls doesn't stand a chance against your charme - shush - I mean it."
She hugs him tighter and buries her face into his chest.

Robin needs one-on-one platonic soulmate time when it’s too loud
Steve needs one-on-one platonic soulmate time when it’s too quiet
It can be too loud or quiet either due to their environment or what’s going on in their heads.
Emotions run high during the times when they’re hanging out with The Party and Robin starts feeling overstimulated while Steve’s hearing loss is suddenly more noticeable and he’s just kind of feeling disconnected from himself and his surroundings in spite of being around all the people he loves the most.
Emotions also run high when Steve’s alone in his big empty house, making him uncomfortably aware of how alone he is and paranoid about any hidden danger that could be around any corner while Robin is lying awake in bed, unable to turn off all of her thoughts until it’s all just a big wall of noise that just won’t stop and it’s all going so fast and she just wants to scream and why is the air conditioner so loud?
They’re each other’s anchors. Robin helps Steve reconnect to reality while Steve helps Robin center herself. Even when Robin isn’t in a chatty mood just the sound of her breathing can be enough to help Steve ground himself while he offers a calm and steady presence who is always willing to listen to her. They’re able to just get each other. They’re the only people in the world who has ever seen the other for all of who they are and not only accept each other, but also make each other feel accepted.
I just love these two as individual characters so much and I love their friendship even more.
(I talked more about their one-on-one soulmate time in this post)

Headcanon (Robin/Ronance):
The first time Robin drank coffee she was around 12yo and she did it behind her parents’ backs (they didn’t want her more nervous than usual). She didn’t like it but it also didn’t affect her (because it was a really light instant coffee).
She grew up thinking caffeine didn’t do sh1t to her until one night while being with Nancy, helping her out with the newspaper, she accepted her offer to have a cup of espresso, and oh boy.
She started feeling her heart rate increase more than usual, her muscles tingled and buzzed and she felt like when she was about to have an anxiety attack.
Nancy noticed her stimming more than usual (wringing her hands and moving her leg) and she asked her if she was ok, to which Robin answered “I think so? I don’t know, I feel weird” with her breathing jagged.
They understood at that moment that concentrated caffeine did affect her, and bad.
To help her calm down they went out to stroll a bit, hand in hand, the cold night air stinging but somehow soothing Robin’s muscles, Nancy talking to her about anything she could think about to distract her, feeling Robin’s thumb rub circles on the back of her hand, soothing both of them.
BONUS:
Luckily for Robin she’s anyway more of a tea kind of girl, unlike Nancy who runs mostly on coffee.
But that also makes Robin almost immune to green o black teas digestive powers, so when she eats too much and needs help, she drinks coffee instead of tea (but she makes sure its instant coffee because she doesn’t have a death wish)

Steve after the first time he spent the night at Robin's: I know your family all pretty much keep your hair pretty short, but do you at least have a hairbrush around here somewhere? I can't find one in your bathroom
Robin: Uh, hair brush... Oh! Yes. You know the window behind the couch in the dining room?
Steve: I certainly remember the couch in your dining room at least.
Robin: Ok, so there's a hairbrush right behind that couch, and it's like a straight drop from the left corner of the window.
Steve: Got it. Quick question: How did it get there?
Robin: No one knows.
Steve: But everyone knows where it is?
Robin: Yep, pretty sure.
Steve: So you noticed it and never thought to move it?
Robin: It's not like any of us use it.
Steve: Uh-huh. I'm taking custody of your hairbrush. It doesn't deserve this treatment.
Robin: Go for it, man.

Robin would like, collect skills. She hyperfixates on certain things and becomes super skilled in them for little to no reason, its just super interesting.
Some of the skills shes taught herself are, 3/4 spoken languages, american sign language, morse code, oragami, several card tricks (shes generally just really good with cards?), painting, medical stuff (like she knows cpr and a lot of other useful shit), she used the knowledge of being in band to learn several other instruments, she can count by 12s, 7s, 19s, ect and can count backwards by 7s. And shes ambidextrous (left and right handed)

My Stranger Things Fruity Four autism/mental health headcanons:
Nancy: Autism, OCD, bit of a cleaning fiend, despises being touched most of the time, masks a lot because her parents unintentionally trained her to, only lets herself have meltdowns when she's alone, not nonverbal, but keeps her sentences short when she's overwhelmed, doesn't like big groups of people, only has a few hyperfixations, but knows an absolute fuck-ton about all of them, hypersensitive to people's emotions, doesn't stim much, but pulls faces when she gets really happy/excited.
Robin: Autism, ADHD, low sense of self worth, minor learning and motor function disabilities, always needs some kind of sensory stimulation to quiet her brain, eats and touches anything as long as it's not soggy or slimy, stims when she's uncomfortable, hugging/physical contact calms her down, is a Jack-of-all-trades when it comes to hyperfixations, can come off as rude, rambles a lot, has a hard time telling the difference between flirting and regular friendliness, has passive suicidal ideations.
Eddie: Autism, ADHD, Depression, viewed by friends/family as relatively "high-functioning", but has a hard time masking, very casually touchy, has extreme hyperfixations, comes off as eccentric, has crippling intrusive thoughts, smokes/gets high to calm himself down when he's overstimulated, sometimes needs noise, sometimes hates noise, there's very little in-between, the world moves to fast and too slow at the same time, usually plays his guitar when he feels the urge to fidget, his rings are mostly a sensory thing, hates being sweaty or dirty, but never has the energy to clean up.
Steve: Autism, Social Anxiety, masks like a motherfucker, observes and copies social cues and expressions from his friends, has extreme Misophonia, can't handle arguments, bad with words, so he expresses himself through his actions, assumed to have a learning disability, but just wasn't being taught in the right way, prefers to cook for himself so there are no surprise textures, feels the need to take care of everyone because he thinks bad things are his fault when they happen around him, chronic overthinker, has stims that come off as normal, but get erratic when he gets overwhelmed, usually has meltdowns because of his own emotions, not sensory overload, high-pitched sounds are the one sensory thing he will go into full panic attack mode from.

ronance, nancy and robin headcanons :)
-both nancy and robin are autistic
-robin also has adhd
-robin is more sensory seeking, nancy is more sensory avoiding
-nancy HATES people moving things around in her room, it was the most common cause of meltdowns in her childhood (especially as her parents were dismissive of it and just called her a control freak)
-adding onto that, robin is one of the very few people nancy trusts in her room and she lets robin move stuff and touch it (barb was also allowed to do this)
-nancy is very touch averse unless she is comfortable with the person
-they bought eachother weighted blankets, although robin has a habbit of using both of them at once as weighted blankets only help nancy occasionally and can sometimes make things worse
-nancy has a ridiculous amount of notebooks
-when they got their own appartment it took nancy a very long time to adjust to such a massive change, it was very overwhelming for her but robin was there to help
-robin was banned from cooking untill she got some lessons from joyce
-they have a spare room in their appartment for the kids to sleep in when they need, max is the most common resident
-nancy is quite a picky eater
-they have a whole cupboard dedicated to their safe/same foods
-nancy drinks black coffee but puts an ungodly amount of sugar in it
-robin is only allowed coffee when she is very sleep deprived and she doesnt like the bitter taste so puts alot of cream/milk in it
-they are a vegetarian household because robin isnt allowed to cook meat and nancy is too anxious that she will undercook it
-they have a box of sensory toys and noise cancelling headphones
-nancy actaully rambles alot but only about her special intrests (true crime/unsolved mysteries/guns) and only when shes comfortable
-robin is teaching nancy spanish and russian and they annoy steve and eddie by switching languages mid coversation
-they have their own made up sign language for when speaking is hard
-nancy has a specific outfit she wears on days where her sensory issues especially overwhelming
-they made a mixtape of the songs that help each of them calm down (they also have seperate ones of course)
-nancys pretty good a sewing so she made herslef and robin weighted animals (nancys is a cat robins is a dog)
-nancy doesnt drink cows milk because she hates the smell and taste and it always worried that its expired
-most of their food is long life because of nancys anxieties
-they host a monthly movie night for the fruity four
-both nancy and robin love stuffed animals so they have a lot between them
-they also both love painting so they have little paint dates, especially in the colder months

Robin: Caffeine no longer keeps me awake while I work, so instead I have Steve periodically send me texts saying ‘we need to talk.’
Robin: It gives me the right amount of adrenaline and fear I need to keep going.

Headcanon (Robin):
If she feels comfortable enough with someone (Nancy or Steve) while watching a film and eating, she will sometimes rock herself back and forth (or from side to side) as a way of letting go some pentup energy
