Do people recognise the girls voices?

Assuming this is for Reincarnation?

Depends who.

Some of the cast are more well-known/distinctive voice wise than others. And the Madrigals don’t all have completely identical voices to them - I have a list for the whole family.

Most to least accurate voices of the English cast:

Luisa (as she was the one alive the longest, so Antonio remembered her very well)

Pepa

Antonio

Camilo

Isabela (spoke a lot but what predominantly “perfect-sounding” in first life)

Bruno

Alma

Julieta

Félix

Dolores (rarely spoke)

Agustín

Mirabel (as Antonio didn’t remember her at all)

Dolores* and Mirabel not sounding too similar to Adassa and Stephanie don’t get recognised. Nobody really clocks the voices as familiar. If we are talking a different cast to the English one, that might be a different story.

*Also, Dolores doesn’t speak in a hushed whisper anymore. She did at the start of reincarnation but she has since grown out of it.

People do clock Isabela occasionally. She’s been stopped in public once or twice by people, trying to work out how they recognise her voice. In saying that, she is also the loudest/most sociable of the four and makes the most effort to be noticed.

And Luisa, well, she managed to convince people she was Jessica once - if that’s any evidence of how identical they sound. Have I told this story yet?

In addition, there is also the difference in accent. None of the girls sound American, obviously. Some mix of Colombian and Scottish by this point in the AU - Mirabel is the closest to Scottish of the four, due to having been in a school setting for a couple years and subconsciously began picking it up.

Long flights, short flights-- Traveling never got old, but Thiago always kept himself busy whenever he had free-time. Sure, he could rest up but not before wasting the last bit of his energy on a mobile game, on the iPad that was brought along for the ride. As an international soccer star, he was famous (and his disguise rarely hid THAT FACT!) but he never sought himself out to be a prestigious snob-- so, he sat comfortably in economy and awaited his arrival back to the States.

He noticed something or someone in his peripheral view try and flag him down and he instantly paused the game. Part of him knew if he didn’t address the distraction, he would lose the game and start all over-- but maybe, there was an IMPORTANT reason why. Was someone asking for an autograph, mid-flight? Was there an emergency and he couldn’t hear them over blasting Adassa and Pitbull through his airpods? Was it someone he knew? Also pausing his music, he took out the airpods and shifted in his seat, staring the other down with a questionable look, Thiago lowered his glasses.

“Do you need something---¡Te conozco!” His mother tongue slipped out with excitement.
