Best Book(s) in the Zodiac series by Romina Russell

So I finished this series pretty recently and I took my time reflecting upon the series and I wanted to share with you all which book is the best in this series. And without any further ado, this is the best book(s) in the Zodiac series.

Zodiac

This is the first book and the start of this beautiful world and that’s exactly what I love about it; the world building. As a fan of astronomy and astrology, a universe with planets for the zodiac signs is something I needed in my life and I’m so glad this author gave it to me. This is also free off most of the complications that occur later on, which is a given, considering this book is the where the problem starts.

Thirteen Rising

This is the conclusion to the series and this book was incredibly bittersweet for me. So many of my favorite people died and there was just so much pain and heartache even though the victory was incredibly sweet at the end. There was just a lot of emotion packed in this book and it made me realize just how invested I was in the characters and the storyline. The villain who is not so much as evil as misunderstood stole my heart. I mean he had my heart since the beginning of the series, oddly enough, but in this book I cried for him and he deserved better. He deserved so much better.

And that’s it. These are the books I think are the best in the Zodiac series by Romina Russell. Though I loved the entire series, these two books definitely stood out. Zodiac Big 3 of the Hazbin Hotel Characters (Zodiac Series) (Angel)

I’m an admirer of astrology and things related to it. I am not a professional or even a person with vast depths of knowledge about it, yet I still find it quite enjoyable. So, because the Hazbin series are getting quite near, I thought I share my opinions on what placements the characters would have (you could call it a prediction too). This is based on the pilot and many headcanons that my brain came to think of.

(Yes, I have decided to use this as an intro. For now, at least.)

ANGEL

Ascendant in Gemini

So, how do we engage with the world? How other people first perceive us? To who we are meant to grow in this lifetime? These and other questions may be answered with the help of the rising sign. As for Angel, I’m thinking Gemini.

Firstly, they are really fun, curious and charismatic people. They love to engage in various topics of conversation and definitely will tell you their opinion on the matter and won’t shy away from commenting their observations and thoughts about anything. I can just picture Angel Dust chilling and gossiping with Cherri. Plus, Gemini Ascendent tends to be very expressive with their words and hand gestures. I mean, the guy is a Spider sinner, so why wouldn’t he use those a lot?

On the flip side, they get disinterested easily if they aren’t feeling mentally stimulated. They jump from one thing to another really fast, there’s no routine or mundane activity that they will likely engage in for a while. It can show through the story, for instance, Angel trying out various suggested “good” activities from Charlie and quickly switching them. He would entertain the idea just because Angel would find it hilarious, maybe wanting to prove Charlie that he can’t really change.

Since Angel would be a Gemini rising, he would have a Sagittarius 7th house, which would mean that he is open minded, active and quite fun in his relationships. He would enjoy spending time with different kinds of sinners, talking about anything and everything. Another thing is longing for freedom which I see as his number one goal in the run of the series. Escaping from Valentino and learning how to be free from toxic patterns of behaviour.

Since Gemini is connected to communication in all of its forms, Angel is definitely not afraid to speak up, whether it be a real – life debate or just posting online. He finds engaging in the conversations quite fun. That also makes him really understanding and appreciating of other’s opinions. Angel would invite himself in a conversation that he wasn’t part of.

So, I believe that the Gemini Ascended Angel will be a communicating and charming social butterfly who will reach the goal of being completely free.

The Sun in Leo

What do we pride in? How’s our ego? What drives us to life? Those and various more questions can be answered with the help of our Sun placement. For our lovely Angel Dust, I picked Leo.

Our wonderful Leo Suns are playful, generous and creative people who wish to be seen in one way or the other. No matter if they’re the life of the party or a shy artist type of Leo, those people are still loving, supportive and have a bit of an ego. Angel does seem like life of the party kind of guy who knows how attractive he is. Doesn’t mean that he will be afraid to use it though.

Leo Sun is very expressive in many different ways – how they talk, how they look, what kind of things they create, how they present themselves to the world. The Sun is always looking for ways to be unique and true to its core. Angel is definitely everything but shying away from being dull and simple. However, Leo Sun can be stealing the spotlight for itself, not sharing it with other people. The Sun is also a star, so it needs to remember to be less self – absorbing and more inclusive. The Leo Sun also possesses a bit of confidence issues, although they are really well hidden. That could play out in the run of the show – Angel being stuck in between “I’m better than everyone” and “Everyone is better than me” mentalities while trying to find the healthy middle.

Of course, we can’t forget Leo Sun’s love for drama, romance and celebrating personal as well as their loved one’s victories. They are the type to hype everyone up and I can see Angel being there for everyone. His inner kindness being hidden behind a teasing and flirting mask.

All in all, I hope to witness Angel’s journey to become a healthy and confident Leo Sun who isn’t afraid of having fun.

The Moon in Libra

What brings us the most comfort? How to we express our feelings that is truest to our heart? What is hidden, only for us to know? These and other questions can be answered with the help of our Moon sign. Angel’s would be in the sign of Libra, in my opinion.

To begin with, Libra Moon is empathetic, fair and will stand up for their loved ones. I mean, how fast was Angel to help Cherri in a fight? The Moon is supportive and going with the flow, which shows how caring and adaptable Angel can be. (Can you imagine the hug you could get from Angel?).

However, there are some less positive traits of this Moon sign, as with all the other ones. This particular one is very likely to be co – dependent on other people. Be it romantic, platonic, family or any other kind, it can be crucial to the Moon. Libra Moon is no stranger staying in toxic relationships of its fear of becoming alone and its people pleasing tendencies. It will sacrifice its own needs and wants in relationships just to keep being in them. That could be shown in Angel’s relationship with Hazbin crew, Cherri, Molly, Valentino among other future connections. There is potential for him to learn how to set boundaries and accept that some of his relationships were quite awful, in that case, letting them go. Libra Moon can be superficial as well, which could be another struggle for Angel to defeat.

In general, Libra Moon is loving, likeable and loves to help its loved ones. There is also a need to love and be loved, which in itself is quite a beautiful possible lesson for Angel Dust. How to love the right people and how to accept their love.

To sum up, Angel Dust will have to learn and figure out how to love and be loved while also being caring and helpful, embracing his Libra Moon.

That’s my take on possible Angel Dust placements. Hope you had fun!

Saturn Retrograde 2022

If you thought Mercury Retrograde was scary then you have not seen anything yet! Saturn has a salty representation, perhaps it formed during his early portrayals or offspring dinner meals. Anyhow, Saturn plays a major role in our lives by influencing our structure, karma, boundaries, time management, public image, restrictions, honor, fears, organization, and maturity. If your Saturn is weakened by a lack of wanted growth then Saturn will not mind kicking your back until you get off your arse and attain responsibility.

Saturn Through the Signs

In simple terms, Saturn does not play around and neither should you. Unfortunately, I do not have any sugar to sugarcoat Saturn's unconventional behavior, but I can say that Saturn is not an entirely irksome planet. Saturn is the strict professor that wants the best for you. He is the father of the zodiac that thrives on spoiling his children, but only if they work towards their goals and aspirations. Saturn rests next to Jupiter, thus Saturn's rewards, morals, and ethics relate to its neighboring planet. Research your Saturn's placements (the house and sign.) If you do not work on your Saturn energies during this retrograde then Saturn will force you into intense, unexpected scenarios that will give wisdoms. However, if you choose to begin your new routines on your own, then Saturn will feel more inclined to make your lessons easier, hopefully.

Saturn is urging you to reflect on your inner and outer self. Since Libra is the opposite sign of Aries, it can be easy for you to lose track of your independence and focus on the wrongdoing of others. Wherever you go, make sure that you leave space for learning and teaching. It is important to remember that being a student is not bad and can increase your intelligence. In addition, change is humming towards your life rather it is from your routine, environment, or job. The changes might be unsettling in the beginning but things will soon fall into place.

Capricorn ♑️ (10th House)

When Capricorn is in Saturn, it works all of the time even though it is in its home placement. If you have this placement and you have been lacking structure and routine then Saturn wants you to step it up a notch by creating a new routine and working on your goals. But, if you have been a workaholic or too serious then take a chill pill every now and then. At the end of your life, none of these materials will travel with you to the spiritual realm, and you do not want to be in your final days thinking, "I spent so much time trying to achieve and flaunt materials. Was it worth it to throw away precious time that could have been spent with my loved ones and mental health?"

Aquarius ♒️ (11th House)

What untraditional values do you want to spread to the public? Saturn loves hard work, even when it is based on originality and changes. If you pay close attention to neighboring signs and houses like Saturn and Uranus (the planets that both rule Aquarius) they slightly influence each another. However, structure is important if you want to put your ideals into the world. For example: If you want to be a model then you have to create a plan, build a portfolio, and learn how to deal with the public. It is great to be eccentric but since we live on modern-day Earth, we must follow a few societal norms, so take this time to balance your humanitarian skills, structure, and originality without losing your independence.

Pisces ♓️ (12th House)

Self-transformation is needed for your growth this retrograde. Whenever a placement is in Pisces, it can make the individual too passive, afraid of confrontation, or overly aggressive (due to it being the opposite trait of Pisces.) Your opinions and feelings are important and should be talked about when you feel an idea and discomfort. During this retrograde, work on balancing your feminine and masculine energies. In return, you will be able to speak up for yourself, create your preferred reality, and heal the world.
