I'm watching My mister and I'm only in ep 5, but I have to say that I love it very much.honestly, I started it because the author is the author of My liberation notes, and it's exactly as I expected from this author, lovely and sad. I love its sadness. the thing is, these series aren't as exciting as the action genre, but I'm so eager to watch the next episode that I can finish the series within a week.watching Lee Sun Kyun, I keep saying to him, I hope your soul rests in peace, Ajusshi. He's really a lovely man and it's really a sad fact that he isn't alive now.

It doesn't... not work? Luz as Ava works unreasonably well, if s1 Luz is about 60% more depressed. Amity is kind of like a mix of Beatrice and Lilith, actually, which is a really cool potential dynamic.

Beatrice threw herself into her faith and into being good at things to make up for committing the unforgivable sin of being herself. Her parents shipped her off to Catholic school in a gross attempt to 'fix' her homosexuality, and still to this day Beatrice is still suffering from how much she'd repressed that part of herself. So basically Amity except homophobia also exists.

Meanwhile, Lilith is supposed to be the next in line for the Halo, but due to circumstances, Ava gets it instead. Lilith's family being alongside the Halo goes back generations, and she's (understandably) upset about losing it. Less understandably, she goes about the murder route a little, but it's fine. Amity... maybe wouldn't go that far. Lmao. Maybe.

As for Ava, she's... well, she's had a hard life. She's smug and happy, sure, but she's also deeply afraid of being alone and abandoned, and above all, she wants to live a life. Luz is stronger with her family beside her, and so is Ava. They've got similar energies, too. The AU could definitely work.
