Os traigo entrega de Mujeres Que Hacen Cosas. Hoy trata de mujeres que hacen rap.

(Que digo yo, no sé por qué hablo como si esto fuera una serie de posts cuando es la primera vez que hago uno de este estilo. Pero igual lo convierto en tendencia.)

Como sabéis, el machismo se refleja en muchos aspectos de la sociedad, y está muy presente en el hip-hop. Con su bitches ain’t shit, su Eminem obsesionado con la violencia a mujeres en sus letras, su Kanye West haciéndole slut shaming a Amber Rose. Pero este fenómeno no es exclusivo de Estados Unidos, ¿eh? Por poner un ejemplo, en 2012 Crew Cuervos sacó una canción titulada “Hemos matado a Carrie”, donde 11 tíos hechos y derechos se recrean en la idea de abusar sexualmente y apalizar a una chica. (Sea Carrie una metáfora o no, no es aceptable, lo siento.)

Precisamente a causa de este ambiente machista, a las mujeres les ha costado mucho hacerse un hueco en este mundillo. Como en tantos otros. Por eso quiero intentar dar visibilidad a mujeres que han conseguido hacerlo, y que quizá no son tan conocidas como, yo que sé, Nicki Minaj. Que en realidad es triste porque es la única rapera mainstream que me viene a la cabeza. Y hombres, ¿cuántos? Para variar.

ABRONCA - Chegando de Assalto

Anteriormente conocidas como Pearls Negras, desde Brasil llegan Abronca. Esta canción es música dura, rap agresivo, trap funk en estado puro. Toda una declaración de intenciones. La letra pide respeto para las mujeres en el mundo del hip-hop. En palabras de Jay, miembro del grupo: “El papel de la mujer en el rap es demostrar que tenemos mucha fuerza y coraje para conseguir lo que queremos. Estamos conquistando nuestro espacio sin depender de ningún hombre”.

YEZI - Anck Su Namum

Yezi se encarga de los raps en el grupo de k-pop Fiestar. Cuando no está haciendo canciones poperas con el resto de miembros, se dedica a petarlo en solitario. Ya nos lo demostró cuando partició en Unpretty Rapstar y con su maxi-single anterior. Esta vez nos trae “Anck Su Namum”, su primera canción de producción propia. Yezi se dedica a hacer lo que se le da mejor: escupir versos rápidos con una dicción perfecta sin despeinarse y matarnos con sus visuals, yas queen, slay. Que por cierto, 23 añitos va a cumplir en agosto esta chiquilla.

FAMM’IN - Animus

De Japón llega FAMM’IN. Es un proyecto conjunto formado por las chicas de FAKY, mis amadas FEMM, y Yup’in. La letra de “Animus” está inspirada por las ideas del psicólogo Carl Jung (sí) y “la masculinidad subconsciente en las mujeres”. La canción combina sonidos de música tradicional japonesa (en la base se oyen gongs y biwas) con beats de trap e interludios melódicos. Puede resultar difícil de escuchar si no se está acostumbrado a este tipo de música, pero merece la pena darle una oportunidad.

Mona Haydar - Hijabi

Tengo que agradecerle a Tumblr el descubrimiento de Mona Haydar. He investigado un poco sobre ella y hace un montón de cosas. Os animo a hacerlo. En esta canción habla de llevar el hijab como herramienta liberadora y se caga en todos los haters, básicamente. El videoclip está muy bien producido teniendo en cuenta que tampoco es de alto presupuesto, y siempre es genial ver a Chicas Despreocupadas Bailando. Y evidentemente, si no os queréis deprimir, no miréis los comentarios del vídeo.

Duo Manekin FEMM Rilis Video Cover Lagu 80-an Legendaris  Milik WINK, Samishii Nettaigyo

Duo manekin FEMM yang menggunakan “80’s and 90’s Revival” sebagai konsep mereka sejak 2015, telah merilis album mereka. Salah satu lagu di dalam album tersebut, yaitu lagu Samishii Nettaigyo milik WINK mendapatkan sebuah video klip remake.

Samishii Nettaigyo adalah lagu terkenal milik WINK yang menjadi hits pada tahun 80-an. Pada masa itu, penampilan WINK yang tanpa ekspresi wajah menjadi topik hangat, dan kali ini, FEMM sebagai manikin tidak menunjukkan ekspresi wajah maupun emosi dalam penampilan mereka yang melampaui penampilan aslinya.

Detail koreografi dan komposisi skenik video klip ini berhasil dibuat ulang dengan sempurna dalam aspect ratio 4:3 seperti aslinya. Meski demikian, walaupun resolusi video dan warnanya sesuai dengan rentang masanya, video ini bukanlah sebuah video reproduksi belaka. Caption judul lagu seperti format aslinya namun bertuliskan Samishii Nettaigyo (2017), serta gabungan dari fashion terkini dan referensi gaya 80-annya tetap setia dengan konsep “revival” yang diusungnya.

Cover album grup ini yang bertajuk 80s/90s J-POP REVIVAL telah dirilis pada 18 OKtober 2017 lalu, sementara versi CD fisik dan kaset yang desinnya terinspirasi tahun 80-an akan dirilis pada 25 Oktober mendatang.
