i do wonder how a lot of like. non-deity divine beings are dealing with everything going on in exandria. specifically i'm thinking of xalicas, a solar that was the right hand of corellon and now egtw says she "wanders wildemount to make up for the sins of the calamity and prevent another devastating war". like she's Gotta be angry about everything that's happening with predathos. also this is very much me just highlighting examples of divine beings that i can't imagine a starved eater of the divine would overlook.

For the Art Guild of Exandria’s Beyond the Divine Gate project:
Rendered flightless and blinded in the horrific battles of the Calamity, Xalicas, angel of the Arch Heart, wanders the Greying Wildlands of Wildemount, seeking to earn atonement by healing the lands devastated by the gods' wrath.
(I.D.: Stained glass-like digital artwork in shades of blue-grey and yellow-orange, depicting a winged, angelic being in a flowing robe. One of her wings is skeletal and burned, with only a handful of feathers remaining, and her eyes are hidden by a cloth blindfold. She stands with one arm and wing outstretched before a background of blue-grey clouds. In front of her are scrolled banners bearing a runic script. End I.D.)

... Ashton's "saintly, strong mother" really is a celestial or a god or something, isn't she.
My very first divine intervention. The gods saw me. A god saw me. I was not invisible... It was a messenger. It was sent and it told me what I really didn't wanna hear. She does not fucking care. I might as well be fucking gone. That I'm a mistake. -CR c3 e61
After the ritual went wrong and the world broke, leaving little Ashton lost and alone in a desert, I wonder what stories Ashton told the other Greymoore kids about the parents that would come to take him away, before he started wondering whether they were even looking for him.
I'm having this moment where I'm realizing that perhaps one of the reasons why I allow myself to get the shit kicked out of me is in the hope that people are actually fucking watching. - Cr3 E17
No wonder they're so fucking angry.

Not sure if you have answered this fully in a post or another ask, but is there a deity (lesser known/prime, or a non-god like Delilah) that you think would make sense for Laudna if she needs to make a patron change after the whole Delilah incident? Or if you think she will make a patron change at all?
Obviously you don’t want it to be tied to the Raven Queen or Vax or campaign one things, which is fair and valid for a campaign that was supposed to be about Marquet. But I wanted to know further what your thoughts were, or if you have other thoughts entirely on it?
Thank you:)
I haven't! The following is going to be somewhat long, because I don't think I can answer this without talking through where I'd like to see Laudna's story go from here.
The way I understand Hollow One, Laudna cannot really be brought back as a Hollow One (though I'd fudge the rules for Revivify specifically). I'm not saying it can't happen, since Matt did homebrew Hollow One and may rule differently; but if that happens I don't have much to say about it and would need to see how things play out for a bit to have any insight since I'm not sure what the next move is for Laudna if she remains largely unchanged.
If she's brought back as human - either with her memories intact or back to her younger self, the woman who died on the Sun Tree, but actually this arguably works better with her retaining her memories - then that's a pretty massive shift. Suddenly she's "normal" in a way she hasn't been, and more importantly, she's mortal. I would like her to explore that concept of a second chance or rebirth. And either way, either she died before she had a chance at adulthood, or she is finally free of the patron who's plagued her for the past 30 years, and so I'm interested in seeing Laudna grapple with the concept that actually is remarkably like what FCG's experiencing: Oh fuck, I have a soul and everything matters now.
Now my personal preference really is for her to retrain warlock with bard and have no patron. I like the idea of Laudna exploring the freedom of being entirely her own person, beholden to no one; and honestly I think bard would be better mechanically given the party makeup. But if she does want to pursue having a patron:
One thing Matt (and Aabria!) has done very well is have localized patrons. Uk'otoa is deeply tied to Wildemount, as is Xalicas (who never showed up in C2 but who does have some worshipers who come up in Call of the Netherdeep); The Observer, meanwhile, is very much of Niirdal-Poc. So it might be that she goes for some time without a patron and then finds something in Yios, or the Rumedam desert. I think this would be a great opportunity to tie Laudna more to Marquet and build out the world. On the other hand this will take a little time to properly build to.
Hilariously, given my FCG comparison above, Avandra, aka She Who Makes The Path, is really fitting thematically for someone who's been on the run for decades but is finally able to make her own road. Celestial would be the obvious subclass.
A little out there, but given that I'd love to see Laudna's crafting given more importance through being a bard, if she instead looks to deities, Moradin could be a weird but intriguing pick. (Also probably celestial).
Given that the Feywild is involved with the plot already and Fearne has clear fey connections, an archfey wouldn't be too hard to seek out.
Finally, because I've had Zahra on my mind given my "Darling" count, Zahra had a Great Old One patron named Sirius and we never learned much about them but they were vaguely tied to the moon, which I think could be interesting to explore.

I AM SO STUPIDLY HAPPY RIGHT NOW!
I'd commissioned @zhellers to do a series of sketches for me for my upcoming NaNoWriMo novel (and yes, it's a Critical Role-based novel)! And they absolutely knocked this one out of the park!
Going clockwise from top left: Matevos Tlevasovy (lore mastery wizard), Valerilde of the Crossroads (ancestral guardian barbarian), Reylian (monster hunter fighter), Sylfyr Ghosteyes (phantom rogue), and Celestana Avestan (peace domain cleric of Xalicas).
LOOK AT THIS GORGEOUSNESS!
Seriously, I can't say enough good things about working with Zhellers on this one - they were fast, professional, friendly, and just terrific to work with.

I know EXU Calamity is just that, an inevitable calamity. And I wanna see if a character was pushing for the calamity or if there was a character that is like "haha it's over I'm just gonna chill until it happens". But my little goblin brain wants someone to have survived and is just trapped in Aeor now. Or someone who is living as a hermit in Vasselheim. Or maybe someone who was already mentioned as surviving like Skysybil Abrianna Mirimm, Halas, Devexian, maybe Brashaar or even like Xalicas. I want a good balance of not part of the 1/3 and the lived to tell the tale. ᵃˡˢᵒ ⁱ ʷᵃⁿᵗ ˢᵒᵐᵉ ᵒᶠ ᵗʰᵃᵗ ᵗᵃˢᵗʸ ᵉᵛⁱˡ ᵃⁿᵈ ᵘⁿᶜᵃʳⁱⁿᵍ. I'm excited regardless, can you tell?

thinking about vic what else is new
but specifically how this is a kid (he's an adult he's seen insane amounts of trauma in a very short period of time he is barely 21 years old) who saw his partner die and then spent the next like. year and a half essentially alone
(sure he worked with caravans and took on mercenary jobs whenever he could get them but they were short-lived, he was always afraid of people paying too much attention to him and somehow realizing where he was from, he met people but he was alone)
to the point where, when it was safe to do so, he'd bring up an echo to talk to, because it was just talking to himself, just with something to look at
spent a year and a half on his own, bouncing from place to place and job to job always at least a little paranoid that someone would figure out he was Krynn -- bad in the Empire because of obvious reasons, bad in the Dynasty because he ran, he just ran away, and no one was gonna be happy about that
(which means he didn't have anyone to reach out to, either, he couldn't risk contacting his family, nearly every other contact he had was in the military, he was just fully cut off)
and then he met the party. and these weirdos just immediately wormed their way in and stayed, and very abruptly vic wasn't alone anymore.
(he tried to run the once, tried to turn himself in when it seemed like it would keep the others out of the line of fire, it didn't work, they pulled him right back in and he will always be so immeasurably grateful they did)
the subsequent months he was just. never fully alone. they didn't spend a night further apart than adjacent inn rooms, even when nol left and vic had a room to himself, there was always someone just down the hall, even when most of the party got out of the hell dungeon with xalicas's help, vic still had everdin, still had someone to rein in his impulsive decisions and at least get vaguely annoyed when there was very little self-preservation in fights.
(there was someone to talk to, someone to shove rations into his hand when he wouldn't have thought to eat, someone to drown out the shitty thoughts that inevitably come back when there were no distractions.)
and then they finally...finished what they'd come together to do all those months ago. they beat asmodeus (kinda), they got into the archon's good graces, and then they were. done.
and now ALL THAT TO SAY. the party split. which is understandable, it really is, and vic obviously gravitated right back to nol, and now that codependency is really. becoming very apparent. and something vic knows he should work on, because he knows it's not the Healthiest thing in the world.
but also dear god this boy is terrified of being alone again.
and he knows his friends are out there and he absolutely visits with them frequently, but there are definitely times when he's trying to have some kind of a life without nol directly involved, he's trying to not put like 75% of his self-worth on this wizard, and he's sitting in a tavern or something and just abruptly realizes. that he's alone.
and it scares the hell out of him.
(that sending stone with nol gets plenty of use with those situations.)
and i'm sure it's something that improves, he finds the balance, eventually
but god there's definitely just this very visceral relief when he gets an unprompted sending message from anthe or from dolly because he's not alone, not really, not this time, not ever again if he can help it

The Explorer’s Guide to Wildemount:
The Calamity took the lives of mortals and immortals alike. Many angels that fought with the Prime Deities were slain, and most that survived were wounded. The solar Xalicas, the right hand of the Arch Heart, was so injured that even the magic of the gods cannot help the angel regain the ability to see, fly, or leave Exandria. For over a century, Xalicas lay broken and blinded in the Greying Wildlands, moss and plants covering her body, until she had the strength to move, blaming herself for the small part she played in the Calamity.
Now Xalicas wanders Wildemount to make up for the sins of the Calamity and prevent another devastating war. Her followers attempt to heal war-scarred lands and repair the natural world. Xalicas knows that alone and in her injured state she cannot stop all the evils in the world, so the angel lends her power to those she finds worthy: creatures who wish to stop unnecessary war, stand up to tyranny, and defend the innocent.
Appearance. Xalicas is a silver-skinned solar who wears a clean white bandage around her eyes. Her body is covered in scars, and one of her wings is blackened and burned.

Question. If someone in C3 starts as a paladin, what god would you be interested in being worshipped the most? (i feel like there's a better way to ask but english is my second language so ill have to assume the meaning is still ok sorry 😭)
Your English is great, no worries!
This is a great question, especially because there isn't the similar guidance for paladin oaths as there is for cleric domains by deity. Anyway: I always want to see more Erathis and Avandra and this holds here (I think Erathis would make a good Oath of the Watchers or Oath of Devotion; Avandra and chaotic deities always seem a little tricky for paladins to me, but I feel like you can make an interesting argument for Oath of Redemption for Avandra specifically). I also really like the good aligned lesser deities (Naviask and Xalicas) from the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, although they are tied somewhat more to Wildemount than Marquet; both seem very likely candidates for Oath of Redemption or Oath of the Ancients.
