When Wanda woke this morning it wasn’t to her 6 o’clock alarm. No, it was the sound of something falling downstairs. The air was cold, but Wanda peered out from her giant comforter to see it was a quarter past 2 in the morning. With a frown, Wanda sleepily sat up, yawning with a small stretch before she stood. After slipping on her fuzzy house slippers and wrapping her favorite silk robe around her body, she headed downstairs.
The lights in the house were all out, but her eyes adjusted enough to see just fine in the moonlight. As she sleepily made her way down the stairs she mentally cursed Vis for coming home so late. The man usually held enough courtesy to stay the night at the motel with his flings instead of bothering his dear wife. She rolled her eyes as she began to draw conclusions.
‘He probably got too drunk and fumbled it with one of his little fascinations’ the woman thought.
As she made it to the bottom of the front door she noticed it was left ajar. With a huff and a quiet ‘typical’ muttered under her breath, she closed and locked the door. Shuffling came from the kitchen and Wanda followed the sound further into her mostly empty home. When her eyes found his shadowy figure opening the kitchen window, Wanda felt the need to speak up.
“Vis, stop,” She said as she stepped over to him, taking his hands off of the window and closing it. “It’s too cold in this house,” She half yawned, grabbing his hand and pulling him up to their shared room. The first time she’d lead him up to their room was so different. They had just gotten married and he couldn’t keep his eyes or his hands off of her. His attention used to thrill Wanda, but after that doctor visit he no longer cared for her.
It didn’t take long to get back to the room, despite the large house. Wanda relaxed when she noticed he wasn’t stumbling as much as he usually did. Maybe he wanted to be home with her for once. She couldn’t remember the last time he bothered… Did he miss her?
Wanda chewed on the thought as she hung her robe back up and kicked her slippers off of her feet. She reached out to lift the edge of the comforter, ready to climb in and call it a night. Before she could clamber into her previous spot, she turned to see Vis still standing in the door.
With a breath she walked back to him. She was still his wife after all… She reached and took his hands in hers and they felt softer than she remembered. So much has changed it’s like she can’t even remember who she fell in love with. She walked backwards slowly, guiding him towards their shared bed.
A year ago the beds were pushed apart, but Wanda moved them back together when he stopped sleeping at home. If he couldn’t be here to use the mattress she could always just spread out on it. He never complained either. Whoever Vision had been around left a more masculine scent on him. It wasn’t a cologne she recognized, but it was nice. Visions breathing seemed to deepen and Wanda’s ear perked at the sound.
The back of her legs hit the bed and Visions figure loomed over her. Wanda gasped when his hands flew to her waist to steady her and keep her from falling backwards. The figures face moved into the moonlight and Wanda’s eyes widened with terror. It was not her husband who had a vice grip on her waist.
Something about the hungry look in your eyes ignited something. Neither of you moved as the moment seemed to stop the passage of time. She took in your features and cursed her brain for thinking you were actually kind of… hot? She watched as your eyes wandered down from her eyes to her chest.
The slip she wore did nothing to hide her cleavage, heaving with every quick breath. Her arms began to prickle from the cold, goosebumps rising as you pressed your front against her.
“What are-“ Wanda began, seemingly breaking the spell. Your eyes went to the window on her left and you detached from her in a hurry, sliding the window open with practiced ease, and climbing out as if it was your profession.
It turns out it was your profession.
In the morning when Wanda woke again, convinced she’d only dreamt of last night; she found her house had been ransacked of most of its valuables. Vision was seething and Wanda was inclined to lie during her report, feeling embarrassed that she’d almost taken you to bed.
Part of her wishes she didn’t try to talk to you. You were so close and so warm. Wanda was sure you felt the way her nipples hardened when you pressed your body flush against hers. How far would it have gone if she’d just stayed quiet?
Well, you clearly got what you wanted from her home and she’d just have to chalk her thoughts up to desperation due to her husband’s lack of attention. It was his fault she felt so alone. It had to be his fault she was so out of her mind she’d have these kinds of thoughts. Yes, that justification worked… until later that night when the married woman came on her own fingers thinking about you.
You stalked Wanda for four months after that. Sneaking into her home to watch her when the sun went down. Of all the things that you’d ever stolen, you’d never been more eager to pluck something pretty from its place. You shouldn’t have come back, but her doe eyes from that first night wouldn’t leave your head.
It was a week before you went back, but the lights were out and you wanted to get a better look at her face this time. So you climbed up the window, looking before quietly sliding it open with your deft hands, climbing inside and clinging to shadows. She hadn’t been wearing anything that night and since none of the windows had been left open the woman had felt too warm in her sleep. One leg spread out over the covers as she laid on her stomach, her face to the side.
You may have tested your luck that night.
Another week after that you visited again. This time she was clothed, but it made you wonder if she’d known the that you’d been there… She wore another silk slip, but this one was far more revealing. Before you realized what you were doing, you’d reached out to feel the soft fabric. A soft sigh left the woman’s lips, but she remained asleep.
You pulled your hand away in your only show of restraint from the woman and she rolled onto her side, tucking her legs up closer to her torso, causing the slip to move up and reveal that Wanda wore nothing underneath. Testing limits became more of a game after that. You began visiting the married woman every other night.
Never in your life had you become so… obsessive. There was no reason to be so attached as you were, but there was something about the woman that left you wanting. After a month and a half of waiting for the woman to be sound asleep, you began watching her during the times where she was awake. It was a risk you couldn’t possibly justify.
That didn’t stop you.
Most afternoons, around 3, Vision would stop by and check on the house before fucking off to nowhere. Wanda, whose name you saw on a sticky note on the fridge, was normally by herself. Sometimes she’d have a glass of wine and paint the various plants in her garden on the patio. You’d smile to yourself when she’d huff, realizing she couldn’t get the proportions just right.
There were mornings where she’d go for a jog on the trails that lead out of the neighborhood and into a natural reserve. She’d put on the least regal attire you’d ever seen her in and you swooned. She had this cute little pair of blue shorts and a grey sweater that caught your eye every other time she went for a run.
However, on the rare occasions you found the light on past midnight, you knew you were in for a treat. Whenever Wanda was frustrated and lacking sleep, she’d take the steps to her walk in closet. When you saw what was hidden in that black box, tucked strategically behind her coats, your jaw dropped.
You lived for the nights you spent looking through her window when she used her toys.
Wanda understood that she lost value to Vision the second they found out she couldn’t get pregnant. She knew that look on his face. It’s the one he’s make whenever he didn’t get his way. She made peace with this fact because even though it was wrong in every way she’d been taught… There was something in the way your hands didn’t want to let go, leaving those light bruises on her hips.
She couldn’t stop thinking about it and she felt as if she was in a constant spiral. The way your eyes looked starved for her sent a flutter to her chest. There was nothing as satisfying as feeling those soft hands gripping hard at her flesh and she wondered how it’d feel if your hands touched more than just her waist. So, when she found you standing at the edge of her clawfoot bathtub watching the her touch herself a few months later, she kept going.
It was that night you chose to talk to her and Wanda wanted to listen to you for the rest of time. Your voice was low with a dark lilt and just as smooth as your words. Testing the waters, you began giving her instructions on where and how to keep touching herself. Making her do everything you wish you could do to her.
It was bliss just as much as it was torture. There was a sort of mesmerized look on your face. Like you were getting drunk just watching her and Wanda felt her face turn red.
“Oh? You’re gonna act all shy when you’re fucking yourself like that?” You teased. Wanda could feel how she was clenching on her own fingers. It felt so good, but it frustrated her to no end.
Not. Deep. Enough.
“Fuck-“ She breathed out, throwing her head back and squeezing her eyes shut. Water splashed out of the tub and she was too far gone to care. She’d gladly let you steal Visions things again if it meant you’d come back to her. Her hips began to grind up into her own hand.
When Wanda next opened her eyes, slowly letting her face and her gaze drift down to you, she saw your hand in your own pants. Clearly she wasn’t the only one enjoying this. Her movements sped up, now fully canting her hips upward with desperation.
When that wasn’t enough Wanda stopped and stood, showing off her form for you. Since she started running her legs had gotten more muscular. Judging from the look on your face, her ass looked good too. The woman felt a surge of pride with the way your eyes took in every inch of her. You stopped touching yourself and took a step closer to the tub as she stepped out.
Wanda bent down and held her pose a moment longer after pulling the stopper to drain the water from. She put her hands on the edge of the tub to push herself back up, but she was stopped when splayed your fingers across the small of her back and she gasped. Never in a million years did Wanda expect you to silently kneel behind her and swipe your tongue through her folds.
It was hot and wet as it flattened on her swollen clit. Further pushing the woman into a lust filled frenzy. The filthiest sound she’d ever made left her mouth and those strong hands of yours found their way to grab her ass. Pushing her ever so slightly forward as you spread her open.
Her wedding ring was gone. Left on one of the side tables downstairs. It felt freeing reaching behind herself, tangling her fingers into your hair and not feeling the metal band catch on your wavy tresses. She nearly lost it when your tongue slid inside of her. Wanda never had the luxury of someone eating her out before and she quickly came from the sensations.
After sex like that, her husband was quickly forgotten.

“You ready baby?” Wanda asks gently as she carefully eyes your reaction to her question.
You nod quickly looking up at her with doe eyes where she stands slightly taller than you, you had both talked about this being something you wanted to try and tonight was finally the moment after some practice and learning some gestures that Wanda wanted to use.
Wanda had been so sweet as the night had gone on, taking care of you, praising you, talking you through everything to get your headspace just right, now you were both standing next to your large plush bed officially ready to begin.
Wanda smiled slightly and tilted her head, you could physically see her switching from her sickly sweet demeanour to her more strict and dominant side. She was curious about something and wanted to test her theory, “can you tell me your safe words darling?” Instantly you opened your mouth to respond before quickly snapping it shut again eager to please your wife and domme. A slight chuckle left the Sokovian’s mouth, “you’re already trying to hold your words for me aren’t you? Such a good girl but it’s ok, it’s not a trick you can tell me, I want to hear you right now” she reassured you after confirming her theory that without even fully starting you were already trying your very best to please her just as Wanda liked you.
You smiled up at your wife, “green for I’m good, yellow for slow down or readjust and red for stop, taps if I can’t talk mommy” Wanda cupped your face with both of hands and quickly pressed a kiss to your forehead, “that’s my good girl”
“Ok my love we are going to start now, remember you can stop anytime you want to” Wanda says as she presses a gentle kiss to your lips and moved over to the red suede chair in the corner of your shared bedroom and sat down, never once taking her eyes off of you.
You waited patiently not moving from your spot as both of you simply watched each other carefully, Wanda slowly lifted her hand and crooked her finger towards her, cautiously you started taking steps forward, you only got around half way to her before she held her hand up signalling you to stop, you did as instructed, watching the many rings on her fingers glinting in the low light but trying to keep your focus so you didn’t miss anything she asked of you.
“Good” she stated to reassure you more than anything, she knew you were nervous about this, as much as it was your idea and you completely trusted your domme to give complete control to, it was nerve wracking to use a whole new set of communication and you didn’t want to disappoint her.
She moved her palm face down to the floor and slowly lowered it a little, you quickly dropped to your knees and folded your hands behind your back, Wanda smirked at how quick you were to respond.
Watching carefully the Sokovian left you with no signals for a moment to gauge where you were at, she noted your breathing quickening a little and you starting to twitch after a few minutes, “slow down my love, you are doing great, don’t overthink it, this is all new I’m not going to punish you if you make some mistakes to start with, once you’ve had some practice however…” Wanda trailed off with a smirk.
With a deep breath you flick your eyes to her face quickly and smile at her, reassuring her you were ok and wanted to continue before focusing back on her hands.
After letting you settle Wanda turned her palm face up and lifted it, you moved to stand again but kept your hands behind your back. You concentrated as she lifted a single finger and held it in the air, slowing yourself down you pulled your pyjama top over your head and dropped it beside you, never letting your focus waver once, the heat in your stomach was making its way lower, trying not to rub your thighs together as you watch your wife sit forward in the chair and rest her arms on her legs looking so dominant and completely in control of your every action with just a flick of her hands, you loved it when she wore a suit and with her jacket discarded your eyes subconsciously wondered to the open buttons of her shirt getting a peek at the deep red lace underneath.
“Ah ah ah focus” Wanda tutted as you quickly move your gaze back to her hands waiting for your next instruction. Two fingers were held up and move to slide your shorts down your legs and drop them next to your shirt revealing the matching green set of lace that Wanda had picked out for you.
“Such a pretty girl for me, I can see you squirming, you just need mommy so bad don’t you?” Wanda cooed and she nearly had you but you managed to catch yourself and simply nod in response and it was worth it for the smile that graced your wife’s lips “such a clever little thing”.
You could feel the lace sticking to you as you desperately grew wetter, you just wanted to be close to her and to please her and it was getting harder to breathe by the second, willing to keep your focus when you finally heard the click of her fingers signalling to you that you could approach her, you practically scrambled forward and dropped back down to your knees more gently this time at her feet instinctively folding your hands behind you and dropping your gaze to the floor. No sooner had you looked at the floor when Wanda’s hand gripped your chin and tilted your head up to face her.
“You’re doing so good for me my love, so pretty and obedient” Wanda cooed so sweetly as she traced your lower lip with her thumb, it took every ounce of strength you had not to take the digit into your mouth. You could feel yourself dropping more and more into that blissful fuzzy headspace by the second spurred on by the consistent praise she was giving you.
You observed quietly as Wanda lifted a single finger and spun it in a quick circle while gazing down at you with dark eyes. Shuffling on your knees to turn your back to her you now had a perfect view of the full length ornate mirror on the opposite wall, you found Wanda’s eyes in the mirror and patiently awaited your next command, perfectly placed in between her spread legs as she leaned dangerously close to your ear and draped her arms over your shoulders, oozing control as she breathily whispered “such a pretty pet for me” before kissing a bruising mark into the side of your neck, you barely held back a whine as you shivered and arched into her touch.
“Do you know what pretty pets get baby?” She asked teasingly after leaving the darkening purple mark blossoming on your neck. You shook your head slowly, shuddering at how hot your wife looked as she rested her chin on the top of your head to watch you in the mirror, caging you in with her thighs and absentmindedly twisting the rings on her fingers where they were crossed just under your eye line.
Leaning back away from you Wanda reached over to retrieve a slim black box you hadn’t noticed was sitting on the small table next to what in your mind might as well have been Wanda’s throne. Your body instinctively chased after her touch until a firm hand gripped a fistful of your hair causing your breath to catch in your throat, she pushed you gently back to position, the perfect balance of gentle and rough handling practically making your mind go blank.
“Patience little one” she scolded as she took the box and balanced it between her thighs behind your back where you couldn’t see.
“Can you close your eyes for me? It’s a surprise for my clever girl” she smirked at you in the mirror while clicking the box open.
You hesitated, trying to convey your silent question to your domme through just your eyes in the reflection of the mirror.
Reading you as an open book Wanda quickly answered your question, “No signals darling, not until you open your eyes again”.
Nodding gently you slipped your eyes closed and waited for your surprise, keeping your posture perfect was difficult as you felt Wanda once again trap you with her strong thighs, not that you would ever even dream of moving.
You felt her move your hair over your shoulder, purposefully brushing against her mark that she’d left just to see you shiver and started pressing feather light kisses across your shoulders and the back of your neck, occasionally teasing with her teeth. Then you felt her arms once again move in front of you and it felt as if the whole world stopped as a cool piece of leather with a perfectly soft inner lining was fastened snugly around your neck. Another kiss was placed just above the leather around your neck before your hair was moved back in place.
“Open” she breathed as you felt her chin once again rest on the top of your head to watch your reaction in the mirror.
Opening your eyes you were met with the sight of yourself, perfectly kneeled in between your wife’s thighs as she gazed at you through the mirror, her eyes such a darker shade of green than normal and filled with lust. Your eyes moved from hers to the beautiful leather collar wrapped around your throat, the shade of green matching perfectly to the lace set Wanda had picked out earlier and finished with a shiny gold ring, you could feel the matching buckle pressed perfectly into the back of your neck, the image making your mind go blank.
“Pretty obedient pets get pretty collars” she purred into your ear, tracing her nails down your back. By this point you were struggling to even hold yourself up, your breaths coming out in soft pants as you softly shook under her gaze.
Making sure you were somewhat steady Wanda stood and quickly circled to be in front of you, tilting your head up with one finger under your chin to an almost uncomfortable angle and making the collar dig deliciously into the bruise on the side of your neck.
“You ready for some real fun my pet?” She growled possessively, eyes darkening impossibly further at the whine you finally let escape and the “yes mommy” that fell from your lips.
Hooking her finger into the gold ring of your collar she pulled you up into a bruising kiss making you yelp, “I’ll let that one slide” she muttered breathlessly after pulling away from you slightly.
“Bed now.”

the silence was deafening, the air thick with tension and as wanda retreated slightly from her position next to you, it made you want to curl up in a ball and cry, or better yet have the ground swallow you whole.
regret and embarrassment were all you could feel right now and as it settled deep in the pit of your stomach, you placed the empty wine glass on the table in front of you before moving to stand up.
"wait" wanda broke the silence as she uttered the word, her hand now grasped around your wrist and effectively pulling you back down on your seat. "just.. don't leave, let me- let me think for a moment"
you remained in your seat, waiting ever so patiently for the redhead to eventually shoot you down, to tell you that it will never happen and that she's just going to forget this conversation ever took place.
you looked down at your hands, twiddling your fingers mindlessly and decided you should just beat her to the punch. "let's- can we just forget i said that and go back to watching your tv show?"
whatever wanda was thinking was a mystery. the woman showed no sign of emotion on her face as she sat still, deep in thought.
"please just say something wanda, i can't lose you too"
wanda whipped her head around at that. lose you? you could never lose her.
"honey, i- i just wasn't expecting that. i thought you were talking about someone from uni, not.. not me" she let out a shaky sigh before continuing. "what about kate?"
you lifted your head and turned it to face wanda and god did the look on your face kill her. you looked like a sad, hurt little puppy and all she wanted to do was make it better.
"she's not you, wanda. she's a great person and i enjoy being with her but, the way you make me feel.. i can't stop thinking about you when we're together and i can't keep pretending like i don't want you the way i do"
the redhead trapped her bottom lip between pearly white teeth, her eyebrows furrowing slightly. the words on the tip of her tongue, begging to be spoken. she shouldn't indulge in this, she really shouldn't.
but, the way her heart beat violently in her chest and the aching feeling of wanting the same was mind-hazing and quite frankly too strong to resist.
"and how do you want me?"
you swallowed dryly as the question lingered heavily in the air.  instantaneously your tongue darted out to run along your bottom lip, a sigh escaping before letting your head fall into your hands.
you hesitated to answer and wanda could tell as you rose to your feet in frustration, a hand combing through your hair to push away stray strands from your flushed face. "please let's just-"
"how do you want me, y/n?"
you heard the older woman shift behind you and when you turned, she was now standing up, her attention on you never faltering along with an expression on her face you couldn't quite place.
the newfound confidence you had felt moments ago was fading fast and the urge to work up the courage and tell her was harder than anything you'd ever experienced. "i.. i just want you, all of you. your mind, body and soul. to be the reason you wake up with a smile. i want you to make me yours and show me what it's like to be truly cared for"
you heard wanda's breath hitch in the back of her throat at your confession and the green in her eyes faded to something darker than you'd ever seen from her.
"god, this is so stupid," you scoffed. "i hate that every time i'm with kate all i think about is that i wish you were touching me instead of her"
"and how do you want me to touch you?" the older woman's chest was rising heavily now as she took one step closer to you.
you need to step away, tell her you shouldn't do this and you can't. that crossing this line would be a mistake, a huge mistake.
though the aching pulse between your thighs was hard to ignore and the way wanda was looking at you made you want to cave, drop to your knees and show her why you're good enough to be hers.
"wanda, please-"
a delicate hand reached up to rest against the soft skin of your cheek, effectively cutting off your sentence and leaving you spellbound.
"it's okay, malysh," the redhead reassured, her thumb stroking gently against your flushed skin. "you can tell me"
a deep sigh escapes your lips, your eyes flickering to the floor before returning back to the sokovian's piercing eyes. "i want you to do anything you desire," one of your hands flies up to grasp tightly at wanda's wrist, her hand still resting on your cheek. the neediness and desperation you felt were simply too much, you needed her more than words could say. "just.. touch me, please"
wanda hushed you, stepping closer towards you until the gap was nonexistent and all of your senses were invaded by wanda.
the perfume she wore, her hot breath ghosting against your face, the warmth that radiated from her. she was intoxicating and you wanted more, you needed it.
"you have no idea how long i've been thinking about doing this" wanda breathed out, her free hand coming to rest against your other cheek. you watched as her eyes flickered down to your lips and you forced yourself to bite down a whimper at the sight.
before you knew it, soft plump lips crashed into yours and it was like the world came to a standstill. you quickly reciprocated, moving forward until your bodies were flush together and as your hands moved to her lower back to grasp at her desperately, all the guilt left your mind and was quickly replaced with just wanda.
your fingers pulled at the hem of wanda's oversized jumper, reaching under to feel the small of her back. your nails dug in slightly when wanda licked at your bottom lip, silently asking for entrance and you instantly granted it, wanting so badly to feel the warmth of her mouth that she offered to you so easily.
a soft moan from wanda echoed into you that you briskly swallowed, the noise igniting something deep inside you and you couldn't help but surge forward, forcing wanda to move until the back of her legs touched the couch.
you pulled away from the kiss, your lips tingling with anticipation and urgency to feel her on you again. but, you briefly ignored it to push gently against wanda's shoulders until she once again sat down on the sofa.
the redhead watched as you moved to straddle her waist and the animalistic groan that left her lips made the coil that was slowly building inside of you twist with need.
"god, look at you," wanda gasped, her hands landing on your hips, gripping tightly with possessive gratitude at the beauty before her. "you're so perfect"
your hips instinctively ground down against her as her words boomed loudly in your ears.
"that's it, detka" the older woman purred, "so reactive to me"
the blush from before inevitably made its way back to your cheeks as you flushed slightly, embarrassment written on your face. your hand moved soft ginger locks from her neck, making room for your lips to pepper open-mouth kisses on her soft skin before sucking gently.
wanda's mouth fell open at the feeling of your lips against her skin and her hands squeezed even tighter on your hips, the grip eliciting a whimper from you. your hips rolled on their own accord, moving against wanda vigorously as you attempted to soothe the ache that grew rapidly between your thighs. you were wet and needy and all you wanted right now was for wanda to make you feel good.
the sokovian lolled her head back, granting you better access to her neck and as your hands travelled up to her shoulders, one of your hands cupped the back of her neck; your kisses growing in pressure until you were sloppily making out with the smooth skin of the base of her neck. you swirled your tongue before sticking it out to trail up until you reached her sharp jawline, nibbling slightly.
"you're so good with your mouth, baby," wanda's words came out breathy, a strong hint of arousal evident as you continued your work before switching quickly to the other side, exploring more of her exposed skin. "i bet you eat pussy so well"
a moan fell from your plump lips as the filthy words left her mouth and you pulled away for a moment, your chest rising heavily as you attempted to catch your breath. the thought of settling between wanda's thighs and tasting her caused your thighs to flex around her waist.
wanda lifted her head, her gaze on you never faltering as puncturing green eyes bore into you to gauge every single one of your reactions, and when her hands moved from your hips to your ass, needing the flesh softly in her palms, wanda hummed in appreciation as the hand that was around the back of her neck grasped at red locks, tugging on the thick hair slightly.
"wanda i- i want.." your mind reeled at the thought of all the possibilities of what could happen next and as your brain flicked through the scenarios, you couldn't help but falter on your words. "please, i need.."
your mind was quickly turning to mush, the only thing grounding you was the warmth that sat under you and the arm that snaked from your ass, up your back and around to wrap delicate fingers around your throat, giving you a reassuring squeeze.
"go ahead, baby, it's okay," wanda purred, her fingers flexing against the jugular of your neck. "tell mommy what you need"
"fuck i-" you practically moaned, the fist you had on her hair gripped tighter upon hearing the name. "i need you inside of me"
"such a big girl using her words, malysh. but, come my love," wanda released the hold she had on your neck and reached down to tap at your thigh, signalling you to move from your position. "i have better use for your mouth first, and then i promise i'll make you feel so good"
you nodded in response and as you shifted to stand on slightly wobbly legs, you instantly missed the feeling of her so close to you. wanda feigned a pout as you mewled, your hands reaching out to grab at her waist.
wanda was swift with her reaction, her fingers wrapping around your wrists with a short chuckle, stopping you from touching her any further, "patience, y/n. now, be good for me, go to my room and lie down on the bed. can you do that?"
"yes, i- i'm sorry, i'll go right now" you spewed out your words faster than the redhead could process them and before she knew it you were pulling away from her, rounding the couch and heading up the stairs.
the speed of your legs caused your feet to pound against the wooden staircase and wanda smiled at your eagerness. such a good girl, she thought.
as you flung open the wooden door you stopped dead in your tracks, just before the line of actually entering through the doorway. you stared into the dimly lit room, your eyes scanning a neatly made bed; decorated with adorable throw pillows and a couple of picture frames that were littered with pictures of your father and wanda on the bedside tables.
your eyes fell to the makeup desk on your right and they landed on a frame that had a picture of just you and wanda, it almost made your heart flutter, but the feeling quickly faded as the realization dawned on you, the weight of it settling heavily in your chest that you were about to have sex with your father's wife, in his room. their room.
before you could linger any further on the fact, you heard footsteps fading into earshot behind you, swiftly prompting you to take one step forward and effectively breaking the threshold of betrayal.
your eyebrows furrowed in confusion as the trace of wanda's steps faltered and you almost called out to her to ask if she was okay, that was until you picked up on the sound of keys jangling and the indicative sign of your front door opening.
"honey, i'm home! god, you'll not believe the day i've had"

Pairing: Wanda/Reader Summary: Your relationship with Wanda is progressing and she wants you to meet her kids Warnings: None Word Count: 662 A/N: This is a request from @xxxtwilightaxelxxx I did just realize that I didn’t actually use the dialog prompt the request came with but the concept is there so I hope you enjoy it anyway!!
You always told yourself that dating someone with kids was off the table. You weren’t someone who particularly liked kids, and you definitely wouldn’t say you were good with kids but when you met Wanda you immediately knew she’d be the exception. You fell head over heels for her almost instantly when you met her.
You were so much in love with her that you were standing in the toy aisles of Target trying to decide what would be something that would get two boys to not hate you immediately. You know how much her kids meant to Wanda and if they told her you had to go, you would be gone before you had time to blink.
You had found two small lego sets, remembering Wanda saying they had recently been really getting into them. While you had considered getting them one of the giant sets, you didn’t want to make it look like you were trying too hard, so instead you picked two different small Star Wars ship sets figuring those would go over well while not being too over the top.
You were sitting in your car trying to talk yourself up to going to the front door. You knew it was a little ridiculous to be this nervous about meeting someone’s kids but you just really wanted this night to go over well. You felt like you were a teenager again having to meet someone's mom and the panic that came along with that. You finally decided you had to go in when you noticed one of the boys peeking at you through the blinds.
Before you could even knock, he was ripping open the door. “Do you always sit in your car for 10 minutes before coming into someone’s house?” He asked you with a laugh.
“Sometimes, I tend to drive too fast and am always too early” You chuckle awkwardly, looking past him to see if you could spot Wanda.
“Dear, it’s not nice to tease our guest” Wanda scolded her son, turning to you she smiled. “I think it’s cute that you do that.”
“Thanks,”
“This is Billy,” Wanda gestured to the boy who had just been making fun of you. “Tommy!”
Suddenly the other twin appeared beside her, sliding on the hardwood floor in his socks.
“It’s nice to meet you both,” You smiled at them both.
“What’s in the Target bag?” Tommy asked
“Oh! Well I was doing a little shopping for myself and I saw these two lego sets and I thought you two might like them, so I picked them up!” You quickly started to pull them out of the bag to show them what you had picked out. The boys both cheered immediately in excitement, each rushing to grab one out of your hands. You were relieved that they didn’t immediately start fighting over who got which ones.
“You really didn’t have to get them anything,” Wanda said softly, a loving look in her eyes and her gaze shifted from you to the boys.
“Now boys, what do you say?”
“Thank you!” They both chimed in unison. You chucked at that.
“You’re very welcome.” You smiled, “Oh and don’t think I didn’t get anything for you,” You turned to Wanda and pulled out a bottle of wine.
“Oh wow, you know how to be a good house guest don’t you.” She smiled, taking the bottle from you and leading you to the kitchen.
“Well I want to make sure you keep me around.” You joked.
“Oh I have a feeling we won’t be getting rid of you any time soon,” Wanda smiled before pouring you both a glass of wine. You headed back into the living room to help the boys with their new lego sets that they were both already working on getting put together.
Your night was full of laughter, and while kids were always your thing, you could absolutely see this family growing on you very quickly.

The Lies You Hold
Anon Reqs: sick reader x wanda using "You've got a fever. Still want to pretend it's just allergies?" and "its just allergies!" please!! <3
This got long, so hope that's okay, tysm for the request!
From This List
---
"Can't sleep?" Wanda glanced over her shoulder, a fond smile lighting up her face watching you shuffle into the kitchen, you looked cozy. You also looked tired. You looked like the only thing that should be getting you out of bed is an emergency, and there were no emergencies that she knew of.
You were dressed in a wrinkled S.H.I.E.L.D. t-shirt and silk pajama shorts, two very contrasting pieces of clothes, outfit topped off with a soft fuzzy bathrobe; a small part of you hoped a hot bath would help ease your mind and body enough to let you sleep off the mission. But it hadn't seemed to work. You did feel tired, but the tired didn't extend enough to let your body rest.
Your energy went and swirled down the drain along with the water that cleansed your body, not so much your mind. Somehow you still found yourself tossing and turning. You gave a languid shrug, slumping down onto one of the stools, "what about you? Why are you still up?" You questioned Wanda.
You placed your elbows on the island counter top, chin resting in the palm of your hand watching Wanda move about the kitchen. Or, more correctly, watching her move the items around her.
"Hungry?" She turned away from you, "maybe some tea?" Her tone was gentle but somehow her words seemed clipped and you noted the way she fully dodged the question.
You let out a sigh, feeling a chill settle now that the heat from your bath was fully waning. "Tea would be lovely." "I thought so." Wanda quipped, giving you another glance over. Like she was harboring a secret that you weren't part of.
"Natasha's tough," you groaned, rolling your shoulder and massaging the muscles that felt tight from a post mission training that felt excessive.
Wanda simply hummed at the mention of the Black Widow; they got along well enough but there was something that shifted in her demeanor everytime you mentioned Natasha.
You were teammates. And you were friends. And for a short time the two of you were even something more, something that never really gained traction. There were no hard feelings between the two of you, but maybe there were some between Wanda and Nat that you didn't know about? That they weren't telling you about?
You nibbled your lip, you wanted to ask the question but your body was just the right amount of exhausted for you to let it go for the time being.
What you couldn't get rid of, however, was the way your sinuses felt like they'd truly come to life after your shower. You sniffled wetly, curling into soft fabric with a sequence of sneezes, rubbing the irritated tears into the soft fabric of your robe, "Excuse me." You exhaled with budding exhaustion.
"Bless you, my love." Wanda took a moment, moving to grab the box of tissues that were tucked in the corner, "coming down with something?" She asked setting the box in front of you.
You met her eyes that were soft with unspoken question, "no it's nothing." You shrugged before carefully taking a few tissues from the box.
Wanda was quiet, eyes cast over you, weighing the truth of your words. Weighing the odds; if you were choosing to lie to her or if you were oblivious to your own signs. But you didn't give her much time to weigh the options, your fuzzy mind going back and forth,
"are you going to tell me what's on your mind?" You looked up at her with watery eyes, consonants dulled by a congested nose, before blowing your nose as quietly as you could manage.
"The mission…" Wanda rolled the word over on her tongue, but didn't continue, instead turning away from you once more and turning off the kettle, carefully pouring the water between two S.H.I.E.L.D. branded mugs. Her lip twitched, fighting a grimace, seeing the logo that was so prominent in both your lives. As well as Natasha's.
"The mission?" You spoke the words slowly, trying to pull it out of her, setting the ball of tissue down just in front of yourself, wondering what was so difficult for her to bring up.
Wanda turned around, leaning on the counter, hands holding the edge, she opened her mouth, but didn't speak. She tilted her head watching you, lips forming a small bemused smile, it clearly was not nothing.
You wiggled your nose, eyes unfocused and bottom lip going slack, your breath hitched in your chest. Soft sounds of irritation filling the air between the two of you. There was no fighting it, you swiftly ducked into the collar of your robe.
"It's nothing?" She echoed incredulous.
You groaned and sniffled desperate to get your nose under control, "it's just allergies… or something." You snuffled into a fresh bundle of tissues. She let out a soft noise, 'or something was right', but Wanda didn't really feel like arguing over it.
Wanda moved to the cabinet, retrieving the honey while using her powers to retrieve a lemon from the bowl on the counter. "The mission." She continued while carefully cutting the lemon then watching the juice trickle into the mug of herbal tea. "You asked Fury to take me off of it?" She glanced over her shoulder at you.
"I did," You admitted, blinking back at her. "So you could be with Natasha." Wanda placed the mug in front of you, hand lingering on the handle.
Wanda knew there was history between you and Natasha, but she also knew only what you told her or what you didn't tell her; that it was Natasha that broke up with you. She couldn't help the creeping uncertainty-the feeling of being inadequate-that clouded her judgment.
Wanda wasn't sure if she belonged with The Avengers, or with S.H.I.E.L.D… or with you. It felt like everyone was trying to protect her by keeping things from her.
You smiled up at her, reading through her demeanor, "I trust Natasha with my life…" You carefully took Wanda's hand, "that doesn't mean I don't trust you. I know you're still mourning…Pietro."
Wanda flinched slightly at the reminder, the reminder of something. she'd never forget, but didn't retreat, only giving your hand a squeeze.
"I know you want to prove yourself to the team, but you don't have to rush yourself, for me, or anyone else."
Wanda rolled her eyes, "You shouldn't push yourself either."
"What?" You looked doe-eyed.
"You're obviously coming down with a cold sweetheart."
"It is just allergies!" You said indignant, a soft crease of annoyance settling between your brows. You weren't sure why she was pushing this over some sniffles and a few sneezes.
"Is that so?" she casually walked around the counter, you eyeing her suspiciously along the way, feeling her silent contemplation.
"What are you up to?" You narrowed your eyes.
But she looked back at you innocent, "Nothing," bending down to plant a kiss on your forehead. Your notably warm forehead. "You've got a fever. Still want to pretend it's just allergies?"
"You tricked me!" you pouted as she looked at you smug.
"No… two birds as they say." She said satisfactory. "Now let's take this tea, and you, back to bed."

“Are you sure about this?”
The look that Gamora gave you made you chuckle. Of course, it wasn’t the wisest decision, but you knew it was something that needed to be done. You looked back at her and gave her a sweet smile, unfortunately, it didn’t get your eyes.
“We need to see the light at some point, right?”
Change.
That was the only thing you were not able to adapt yet. If you ever had the choice to stop it you would take it without any doubt, without even thinking about the consequences. Most people would say it wasn’t right, in the end, change was something that kept things interesting and the world and universe moving and evolving. Change allowed people to grow on themselves and become something else, sometimes it would be for a better version of themselves and others it would be the contrary. The not so fortunate cases would become their worst version of themselves.
But for you, changes, had not been as kind as anyone could expect. Changes were the things that had you standing in this position on the first place. You were the guardian of an ancient civilization. You were the right hand of your king, and more recently, you were an Avenger. Having the power to guide the souls to the other side, and using their souls as your personal army, you had become one of the most important and useful members on the organization.
That was until two days ago.
Now you were the top of the most wanted by S.H.I.E.L.D. and your future with them would only include yourself being restrained and made the test subject inside the lowest level of The Raft.
Everything you had built in the last year had come crashing down so fast that you mind was still searching the point where everything had gone wrong. The anger was something you were getting used to, but the guilt was a whole different thing. It was present at the front of your mind making you aware of the death dreams you had taken away with their hopes. The roots starting to show on your right arm were the living proof of this. Behind your skin they were growing with the guilt. The night before you had to ask for Gamora and Namora’s help when the buds of cempasúchil began to open your skin to sprout.
They would grow on your heart and lungs as long as the people you loved didn’t correspond your affection, but something that no one told you was that it could grow with a heavy loss. So now you were walking under the freezing air and the cold snow in the streets of New York waiting to see them for at least now, the last time.
With the low temperature you started to feel the tips of your fingers and toes going numb, maybe it wasn’t the best decision going out only with a pair of pants, convers and a black sweatshirt, but it wasn’t as if you were exactly paying any attention to that to begin with. When you looked the people walking besides you, the fist thing you noticed where the smiles on their faces followed by the tint of red on their cheeks and the happiness in their eyes. The kid on his father’s arms was pointing at the biggest advertisements changing on the walls of Times Square. He would pat his father’s head and his mother’s shoulder to show them whatever thing attracted his attention. On the other hand, the couple beside you were taking a selfie showing building at the center of the Square. Before you could take another step, your legs stopped abruptly as you felt the roots on your right arm starting to squeeze it as it moved forward to the base of your hand, you held your arm against your chest and walking between the crowd you let your body fell against one of the free walls you found.
Taak ulak k’iin, yóol tiʼ Amikoo.
(See you later, faithful friend)
Namor's words began to echo inside your mind like a scratched record not leaving any space for other thoughts. His child's eyes full of innocence and love was the next thing your brain put in front of you. Remembering his last laugh, you forgot how to breathe again. Your nose kept trying to pull air into your lungs, but your organ was painfully resisting your will. It seemed like any air you accomplished to get inside would disappear the moment it reached your lungs. Feeling the sweat starting to flow on your forehead, you knew you didn’t have enough time to deal with this for now. Ignoring the echoes of their laughs, you moved your head to the front and without hesitation you crashed the back against the wall. The pain made the regretful memories go away but instead now you had blood running down your neck.
When you finally got up, you walked until you saw a familiar figure resting against one of the statues on the Square.
Seeing her struggle with her hair you approached her with a soft smile on your face. Maybe some things don’t really have to change.
“Hey Hawkniss!”
When Kate looks up you saw a train of emotions passing through her eyes, starting with surprise, followed by relief to finish with doubt. Taking one of the hair bands off your wrist, you extended you hand so she could take it.
“You always forget this when you go out, I thought I told you to always bring one?” You say with a lighthearted tone. Kate rolls her eyes as she accepts the hair band and lets her head fall a little to the front while she accommodates her hair in a ponytail.
“You know S.H.I.E.L.D put an arrest warrant against you right?” They way she says it makes you look at her, the joking tone on her voice is only a façade for the worry in her eyes. “The things they are saying…” Her voice breaks mid-sentence as she moves her gaze to the kids running a few steps away from the both of you, but you know exactly what she’s asking.
You move closer to her and bumping your shoulder softly against hers you try for her to look at you again.
“You can ask, I’ve never lied before.”
“Is it true?” She looks at you with hope in her eyes, her heart fighting her mind and possibly the images and files Fury already showed her and the rest of the team. For a brief moment you imagine how that reunion went. The faces full of surprise and disbelief of everyone you had been once close to. The reaction of those who never trusted you and those who trusted you a little more than they should have. Then you were fill with the two pair of green eyes you once loved.
“Unfortunately, it is all true.”
You hear the gasp and see how her body tenses.
“Why?” She grabs the borders of the statue as she tries to avoid your eyes.
“They continue to put the sails in the same place no matter how much the wind keeps blowing them out. I just want to move the candles around. I seek a world where at the end of the road the only thing we find is not the bodies of our companions. It only happens to be that some ‘insects’ are blocking the way."
“You have lost your mind.” Kate looks at you in disbelief.
“I’m not looking for approval.” You shrug your shoulders as you look at the sky. “And I don’t expect anyone to understand either.”
You feel how she starts to move her hand towards her ear, and you smile.
“You sound just like any other delusional villain we have fought before.” She makes a pause before the person at the other side of the comm answer her call. “She’s here at Times Square. She’s dressed as a civilian.” You guess the person on the other side is reprimanding her when she answers. “Are you crazy? She can break my neck in a blink of an eye!”
Tumblr media
“How is it possible that you are that skinny and that fucking strong?”
You look at Peter with a mix of emotions as your brain tries to process the fact that a teenage boy just kicked your ass and probably broke one of your ribs.
“Well, you know… I eat a lot of vegetables and do a lot of excercis-“ Before he can even finish you throw one of your shoes at him.
“Don’t you dare come up with your “Friendly neighbor” persona right no- Ouch!” You were pointing at him when your body fell backward as the pain of your now officially broken ripped made its presence. When he approached you saw the panic in his eyes, and you felt a little guilty for your reaction. “Don’t make that look. I’ve fought since you weren’t even born, I should have been more careful and shouldn’t have underestimated you.” You extended your hand towards him and after a few seconds, he helps you to get on your feet again.
“I’m sorry, I should have measure better the strength I use…”
“It’s fine, I only got hurt because you got me there. I thought you were using your full force back then, but now that I know you are capable of more, next time I will not pull my punches.” You smile at him before pulling him towards your side and patting his head jokingly.
“Hey! Stop! I’m not a kid!” He says as he tries to free himself from your little attack against his hair.
“I will always see you as a kid. Kid.” You give him a soft smile begore letting go of his head. Deciding the training was finalize for the day, you started to take your things before leaving the training room, but a popping on your mind, you turned to look at Peter again. “Why did you join The Avengers?”
The question comes out of your mouth before you can even think about how it might come as intrusive and as seeing how Peter flinches a little you know you screw up, but when he starts walking with his phone in hand, you become embarrassed as you see the picture of a man smiling as his background.
“He was my uncle Ben. He died the day I got my powers when a thief shot him on the stomach.”
“Peter I-“
“Don’t worry. I guess if I see a 15-year-old guy risking his life instead of partying I would make myself the same question.” He shrugs his shoulders as he puts his phone away. “I guess… It’s just that when you can do the things that I can, but you don’t, and then the bad things happen, they happen because of you. In the end is just an everyday decision. It is a leap of faith.”
When he looks at you the weight of his determination strikes you as a bucket of cold water. You had known this kid for months now, but before now, you didn’t notice the weight he was carrying on his shoulders. And when he turns around for you to follow him, you see how his back looks bigger than before.
“ ‘With great power comes great responsibility.’ That was the last thing my uncle Ben said to me. Since then, I didn’t try to save the world, but I tried to save one person, and after meeting all this people with the same goal as me… I decided to protect them too. In the end, it is a weight we all carry, but it is easier when you are not the only one doing it.”
Tumblr media
“Tell me it isn’t true!” You hear Wanda’s voice coming from behind, her voice is a little agitated, but you can’t understand if it is because of the news or because she came running. “Y/N! Don’t you dare take another step forward!”
Giving a final step, you stopped in the middle of the moving crowd. The red and yellow lights from the signal of Mc Donalds were the ones reflecting on you as the words to start the end of this chapter came to your mind.
“Fury already showed you the files, and I already confessed to Kate. Are you underestimating me that much?”
“That’s not good enough reason for killing 16,000 people!” Wanda´s voice comes out as a scream, making some people to make some distance from herself. “That’s not something Peter or Namor would want for you! Did you really had to kill May and Bobby to reach your goal!?”
Please don’t hate them so much. Namor’s words only made the roots in your heart sting.
“How can I be fair if I start making exceptions from the beginning? Their deaths won’t be in vain.” You said nonchalantly.
“You said you would protect those who couldn’t protect themselves! You swore you wouldn’t kill without any good reason! This is not a good enough reason, and it doesn’t make any fucking sense!”
“It makes sense, and it has a cause as well. If you don’t understand or approve it… It isn’t my problem anymore.”
“What sense does it make to kill people to protect us!?” You feel your chest aching as the frustration in her voice becomes more noticeable. “We protect people, we do not kill them Y/N! We have the power to protect them so that’s why we do it! You can’t kill everyone just to achieve something as worthless as that.”
Wanda. Natasha.
“You are so full of yourself, aren’t you?” The harshness in your voice made her take a step back. “It is so easy for you to undermine everyone’s effort because you can do what everyone already does, isn’t it?” You said with a distant tone.
I´m sorry. I don’t now what else to do to make it all stop.
“What the hell are you talking about!?” Wanda was blindsided by your words. A lot of questions were forming around her head, but she didn’t have any answer to any of them. Since when were you feeling this way?
“You could turn your wrist or snap your fingers and you could turn the world around as you see fit…”
I thought I had the strength to face whatever it came my way as long as I were with you both, but I’m so tired of having this much blood in my hands…
For the first time in months, you finally looked at her. And for the first time in months, she saw you.
The woman that had appeared in front of her and Natasha a year ago was nowhere to be found. You had the same hair and the same eyes, you had the same pointing ears and the same wrinkles around your eyes, but the look you had, was nowhere near the proudest and righteous person she had given her heart to.
“Wanda, can you hear me? Where are you both? I don’t see you.” Natasha’s voice came through the comm, but she couldn’t bring herself to respond. The tone of your skin was paler as the clothes that once were hers and Natasha now were fitting you looser than before. But what finally broke her heart was the disdain plastered in your eyes. You were right in front of her but there was no track of the love of her life in there. Right now, the only thing she was seeing was a shell of your former self.
"Are you trying to break the will of others to do something that you would be able to do?”
I’m tired of sending the souls of the people I care to the other side. How long, before it will be the turn of either of the two of you?
With numbness in your heart, you looked at her with your gaze completely lost. This was the final step to finally begin with the final act. There would be no coming back after today, and there was no coming back after the lives you had already taken.
“Detka, please just listen to me…” Wanda pleaded with desperation in her voice, but not even her trembling body made you back down.
We keep entrusting our lives to people that only see us as weapons and will turn their backs from us the moment we make a mistake.
You saw the way the snow was resting softly against her soft hair and how beautiful she looked, as her cheeks were now completely flushed from the low temperatures the weather was providing. Some part of you wished you could also see Natasha for the last time, but you were grateful she wasn´t here right now. Would you change your mind if the both of you were here with you?
The group, you both, keep putting your trust in them…
“Are you The Scarlet Witch because you are Wanda Maximoff? Or are you Wanda Maximoff because you are The Scarlet Witch?”
That’s why I can’t trust any of you, so I have to do this alone.
“Stop…”
“If I were you and had your powers, would you think the same about my stupid resolve?” You looked at your hands as the roots started to grow around your fingers, but not even they could stop you from making your final move. “I have decided what I want to do with my life. You can mock this leap of faith I’m making; I’m not expecting anyone’s approval.”
When you noticed Natasha’s presence getting closer, you decided it was already time to go away. Without waiting for any response, you looked at Wanda for the last time before finally removing yourself from their lives. You took in the way her teary eyes were looking at you and the way her freezing breath came out of her mouth, you notice the way her lips were moving trying to look for the right words, and how her eyes fading away the beautiful green just to become completely green.
This is the decision I’ve made and the leap of faith I’m making.
“Y/N! Wait! Malysh!” You look at Natasha and how she’s struggling to get to you between the crowd, but for the first time in months, you were grateful it was ending this way.
I don’t want to save the world; I just want to save just my people.
The roots and flowers on your chest were struggling to comprehend the consistency between your actions and your emotions. Turning around you started to walkaway leaving Natasha to deal with the people surrounding her and Wanda standing up in the middle of the street looking as you walk away. Your senses peak the moment you feel Wanda’s magic to surround her but the only way they could stop you now is if they stop your heart, and for that, you are also prepared.
“You can arrest me or kill me for all I care… That would also make sense...”
Tumblr media
“Wanda told me I could find you here.”
Natasha looked over her shoulder and after seeing the identity of the man, she returned to look the name of the grave inf front of her.
“So, how are you hanging on?”
“Is Tony Stark showing care for someone else apart from himself?” She said, her face full of apathy.
“I won’t take it personally Romanoff, don’t worry.”
Tony took of his coat and sat next to Natasha. The past few months had been difficult for everyone with the numerous losses and funerals they had attended, and your defection from the group was the lowest punch they had received. The union they once had was now completely nonexistent as Thor and Loki decided to return to Asgard and Clint decided to leave to be with his family. Steve went back to Wakanda to help Bucky find amore peaceful life and Wanda and Natasha were lost without you. They wouldn’t even spend time together anymore as they both decided it was best to go to every mission the got with the hope they would see you, even if it was on the contrary side of the law, but even that would be enough for them.
“I don’t need your bullshit right now.”
“God, you need to take care of your words, we have minors here.”
“How can you be like this after everything that has happened?” Natasha started to play with the grass under her shoes. She would play with everything just to avoid the concern in Tony’s eyes.
“I’m not.” Tony let out a sigh before looking at the grave. “I’m mad and I feel useless. I have made many armors, but it seems that not matter how many I make it would never be enough to protect the people I care. I have the greatest artificial intelligence in the world, and I couldn’t even get enough information about that mission…” When Tony’s voice quivered Natasha finally looked at the man in front of her but as it was now days, the shell of the man she once knew too. “There´s not a single day that I don’t feel guilt about his death. Maybe if he hadn’t died Y/N would still be here. Thor would be still here… Steve would be here…”
Not knowing what to do or say, the only thing Natasha did was resting her head against Tony shoulder as both kept staring at the grave.
In loving memory of Peter Parker,
The best nephew. The best friend. The best hero.
The amazing Spider-Man“We all have powers of one kind or another.”

On a single night
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: One night between you and Wanda changed everything. Now, your relationship will end up in tears or wedding bells.
Relationship: Wanda Maximoff x Female!Reader - Mentions of Kate Bishop x Female!reader
Warnings: Minors DNI! Fluff, angst, idiots in love, smut, implied smut anyway, alcohol, language, implied lost of virginity, strap on usage, drama, Avenger reader.
Author's note: Hello there guys, so this is a story I just finished while I work on a request and another one. I hope you guys like this one, remember English is not my mother tongue so i apologise for the funny mistakes.
I'm really enjoying this far too much, so if there are any requests...
The first time it happened it was at a party.
One of Tony Stark’s parties, of course.
Those things were like Las Vegas, whatever happened at a Tony Stark’s party, stays at a Tony Stark’s party. That was the rule, that was why Wanda never thought nothing of it.
Wanda had always thought you were the most beautiful woman to ever grace the earth with her presence. By the gods, you were just stunning and after Wanda heard you talk, laugh, and fight she was more than a little fascinate by you. There was one issue though, actually two: first, you were best friends, and best friends didn’t get romantically involve.  And second, you were a flirt. A womanizer.
That particular day, on that particular party though…everything changed.
Wanda’s dream came true.
You had come in with the black suit Tony had given to you for your birthday, with your hair falling freely on your back exuding confidence with a know-it-all smirk in place, eager to just go out there and dance your way around the guests. Wanda knew how this parties usually ended for you, with a girl by your side before the both of you disappeared leaving Wanda empty and miserable.
It was always like that.
Wanda let her eyes wandered on your form, your eyes sparkling with mirth as Tony and Pietro argued and you just said one or two words to keep the arguing going.
“You should close your mouth and stop staring; it’s getting too obvious. And embarrassing.” Natasha Romanoff offered a drink to Wanda who didn’t hesitate to take it and drank it in a single gulp.
“Easy there, Maximoff, this is no water.” Natasha studied the young woman beside her, before she let her eyes wandered to your laughing form.
“God, I shouldn’t have come.” Wanda mumbled turning away from the scene the moment you caught the attention of one of the new recruits from Shield.
Natasha pursed her lips, noticing how your eyes linger in the form of Wanda. It was a game they had been playing for quite some time, and the wagers were high on who would give in first.
“I think you should stop watching from afar and go right there.” Natasha commented shrugging, “that’s what I would do.”
“Easy for you to say so, you’re like sex on legs.” Wanda rolled her eyes when Natasha shot her a look that demand some explanation. “That’s how Y/N refers to you.”
Natasha snorted, “she is a flirt, I give you that but…she is also a fluffy mess, romantic by heart. And loyal.”
This was not the first time the both of them had this conversation, Wanda might be attracted to you, but her main fear was the fact that you were a complete, and utter flirt. You were charming, easy going, and quite the talkative woman; you attracted the attention of both women and men. And while it was quite obvious your preferences were for women, no one was sure if you were ready or even like the prospect of a serious relationship.
And Wanda was not ready to share, and she certainly didn’t want to share you.
But you didn’t know that, and Wanda was not about to tell you that because she wasn’t sure she would take the rejection quite well. She could deal with you sleeping around as long as she knew she was still your best friend by heart, that she got the chance to snuggle to you whenever she had a nightmare. That she had the privilege of seeing your real smile, or your wistful eyes.
You laughed again whispering something in the recruit’s ear, the woman blushed deeply nodding at you. Wanda glanced away the moment you noticed her, and without even giving a glance back to the recruit you made your way to Wanda and Natasha.
“I think I’m leaving…” Wanda started but Natasha offered her that strained smile she usually wore when something was about to happen.
“Too late.” She mumbled, then her whole face broke into one big grin. “Y/N!”
“Nat!” You engulfed the woman in a tight hug, “you guys are late! Where have you been? I’ve put up with Pietro alone for far too long, he is throwing off my groove!”
“Hey! I’m not! If anything, it is you the one throwing off my groove.” Pietro pushed you lightly. “That girl was so into me…”
You rolled your eyes amused before settling them on Wanda, the young woman offered a tiny smile that your returned with one of your own. You stepped forward stretching your hand out for her, Wanda hesitated for a moment before taking it, you winked at her bowing your head letting your lips brushed against her knuckles.
“Damn, Little Witch, you look stunning today.” You said with a voice that was so different to the one you had used moments ago. “You came here with someone in mind?”
Wanda dipped her head her lips curling slightly and a flush on her cheeks; a sight you thought was adorable on her.
“I…no, just…” Wanda stammered before giggling. “I just wanted to have fun.”
You beamed at her, “that’s the right answer, then if you don’t mind…can I have the first dance?”
Natasha watched the interaction with growing amusement. Wanda was right, you were a flirt by heart, however you were a different kind of flirt and person whenever Wanda was nearby. You softened completely, your attention completely on her, your eyes twinkling happily while you devoted everything to make sure Wanda felt special. How did Wanda miss all the signs was beyond Natashas comprehension, she only knew that if the both of you didn’t stop dancing around one another this could end with a broken heart.
Wanda could say no to you, so she said yes.
You two danced into the night, and Wanda had never felt as happy as she was that night. Her heart was beating hard, her body tingling all over at your closeness the room was dark with flashing lights dancing around the dance floor. The alcohol and the dancing were getting to your head, your hand on her lower back, and your forehead against hers as you swing around at the rhythm of the music.
You didn’t know when it happened, the only thing you knew was that when it happened you held her tight your lips dancing around hers, your tongue asking for permission before you got a taste of Wanda. In the blink of an eye, the both of you were stumbling over your room…
Wanda knew the moment she leaned in she would end up with a broken heart.
You kissed her as if she was the only person in the world that matter, your hands were mapping out her body guiding her with tenderness until you had her where you wanted it. Wanda tried to hold back her moans, to quiet down her whimpers but it was impossible when your mouth and fingers worked around her body making her feel pleasure mixed with affection.
Wanda couldn’t stop saying your name, and she made sure to just said that and not scare you off by confessing just how in love she was with you. The young woman came undone when your voice reached her out, her fingers working inside her as you whisper her name, her nickname…
“Come for me, Wanda, scream my name, Little Witch…”
It was heaven.
And you gave her that heaven until the break of dawn.
By morning, Wanda was pretty sure she was in hell.
She got dressed in record time, you were still fast asleep with a half-smile on your lips. Wand felt tears pricking on her eyes, her heart breaking just a little at the mistake she made. A drunken night of pure bliss, only to have the rest of her life to regret it. With one last glance at you, Wanda left.
Wanda never mentioned that night. You had been hurt but decided to respect her decision.
After all…
…what happened at Tonys’ party, stayed at Tony’s party.
______________________________________________________________
The second time it happened, she had been crying.
It had been a month since Tony’s party. You were left hurting, wondering what had happened what you had done wrong to have Wanda run on you, and then ignored you. You loved and hated that night, you loved it because you get to be with Wanda, but you hated it because it messed with your friendship.
She had been avoiding you, no longer did she answer your messages or waited for you at breakfasts. Your training sessions were now with Pietro, and your missions had been fixed so you ended up with Sam or alone.
It hurt.
It broke your heart in so many pieces you thought it was not fair. You could take this from everyone but Wanda.
You knew Wanda was off limits.
She was your best friend, she was everything to you and even if you felt an ounce of attraction for her, her friendship was more important than anything else. And now…You tried to forget about it by going out, Pietro was usually your wingman the way you were his.
It was fun, whenever you two weren’t on a mission or training you were out, and it ended up with you bringing over a girl or coming back to the compound late in the morning. It was easier, to just go out and forget the fact you had a taste of what it was to be with Wanda. Only to have it ripped out in the cruelest way.
This went on for over a month, and in all this time Wanda would just look from afar. Never once did she mentioned that night, and whenever you were about to say something, the only thing she said was she had been drunk and didn’t remember anything.
Which was even worse because a part of you had to wonder if perhaps you took advantage of her and that was the reason as to why she had been ignoring you after that day.
“While I have been enjoying you whoring yourself out in the last couple of weeks,” Fury said dryly rolling his eye when you and Pietro giggled like idiots, “I need you to focus on this mission.”
“Right, get the girl make her fall in love with me and then…” You trailed off when your eyes fell on Wanda, the young woman was looking at you with her jaw clenched.
Your eyes dropped for a moment, then you turned to Fury.
“Try to not fall in love with her, anything else?” You asked feeling those green eyes on you.
Fury sighed, he hated dealing with young adults. More so if they were as insufferable as you and Pietro.
“You don’t have to sleep with her…” Clint started, and you just stood up.
“I know. I want to.” You said shrugging, then taking the file you left. “She looks hot.”
Wanda sat there for a long time, her eyes itching with unshed tears.
The mission went smoothly, and as it turned out the young woman you had been ordered to protect and to date was a nice woman. An heir to a great fortune, lost her father on the attack against New York and her mother had been involved with the mob. She was a great fighter, so not as useless or as damsel in distress as you thought her to be.
Kate Bishop turned out to be quite a catch.
And what ended like a mission, in the end was looking to be something else.
Both of you had started a semi relationship, she was unsure of what she wanted, and you were opened to the options. It was a win-win situation. And of course, everyone ended up knowing what was happening.
“Damn, she is hot.” Pietro sighed putting his feet on top of the table. “I really find it so unfair you always ended up with the best missions.”
You snorted fixing your clothes, you were supposed to meet Kate at a dinner party. Something about big money and investors, and then the night was for the both of you. You were ready for her, packed and horny.
“So, how do I look?” You turned to Pietro stretching your hands, Pietro pursed his lips leaning in.
“As someone that’s going to get lucky tonight.”
“Damn right I am.” You winked getting your keys and making your way to the door, you were about to text Kate when you realized you didn’t have your phone on you. “Fuck, where is my phone?”
Soon the both of you dismantled your room without any results, you mused over when you last used it until you remember. The library.
It was there where you found her.
She had her legs against her chest, her back resting against the wall while she glanced out of the window with tears falling down her face. She was sobbing, shivering while trying to hold back the sorrow she was experiencing.
Your heart broke.
If there was something you never wanted it, was for Wanda to suffered or to cry and be this miserable. Without thinking about it twice you approached her, she was so distracted she never noticed until you were kneeling right beside her.
“Wanda? Hey, Little Witch, what happened?” Wanda jerked away from her stupor, she tried to wipe away her tears, but her movements were slow, and her hands were trembling.
“I’m not…It’s not…”
“Of course, it is.” You leaned in, your hand caressing her cheek with tenderness. “What happened?”
“Nothing, you can go.” She tried to say firmly, but her voice broke, and new tears form in her eyes.
You leaned closer, your arms wrapping around her shoulders pulling her to you. In that instant she wrapped her arms around you sobbing on your neck, just as you sat down pulling her to your lap.
“Hey, baby, come on, what is it, Wanda? What happened?” You whispered caressing her hair rocking her tenderly, your hand brushing her red locks. “It’s okay, Little Witch, it’s okay. I’m here.”
You forgot about everything and everyone, the only thing that matter to you at the moment was the woman in your arms. Her hands caressed the hairs on your neck, her sobs slowing down with your hand making soothing circles on her back. It seemed as if she was getting a hold of herself, and you put her closed to you.
You tensed when she stiffened in your arms.
You forgot about the strap on you had put early on. Wanda stopped the movements of her hands, she straightened up and her face was a mixture of tears and embarrassment and something else you didn’t know how to name.
“I’m sorry, your date…” She started but you offered a single smile, your hand moving up to brush away her hair from her face.
“It’s okay, Little Witch, you come first.” You whispered and then it happened.
Wanda leaned in kissing you slowly, tenderly and her hands went down your torso to your crotch. You moaned into her mouth as she shifted until she was straddling you. The both of you struggled for a moment, but soon you had Wanda whimpering and thrusting her hips your eyes darkening at the sight of Wanda riding you placing needy kisses on your lips.
You couldn’t look away from her, but Wanda had her eyes closed biting her lower lip as she rode you hard.
“Wanda…” your voice rough, deep with desired your hand sliding down until you could feel her clit engorged and begging to be touch. Your finger flickered around it, Wanda screamed out and this time it was your name escaping her lips. You smiled doing it again, and again until Wanda crashed her lips to yours and came a second and a third time.
This time around she didn’t run, but she didn’t speak either. Your questions went unanswered and then you were left alone pondering what hell was happening. Wanda was back to her room crying for her inability to be far away from you, for not letting you affect her the way you did.
You two didn't speak afterwards.
Wanda left and you didn't find your phone.
You met Kate the next day, she had been mad but understanding. You felt guilty, because the young woman standing in front of you was amazing, and at another time, at another circumstance, you would have fallen in love with her.
Kate had understood, your best friend was crying and she needed it you. She knew you lost your phone, and that you needed Stark to locate it, which she found funny seeing as your phone was part of your job. She accepted everything without doubting you for a second.
You felt awful.
One thing was to sleep around, another thing was to play with someone like Kate. So after a couple of days, you ended things with her, and Kate while affected, was juts the type of woman you knew she was.
"I suppose this was going to happen sooner or later," Kate lowered her gaze, the corner of her mouth tense and you could see how her eyes gleamed with unshed tears.
"Why do you say that?" You asked her a little affronted, the other woman chuckled shaking her head.
"You seemed to be in love with someone else," Kate shrugged then leaned in winking at you, "I foolishly thought I could help you forget."
Your eyes opened wide at the revelation, you opened your mouth and then closed it.
"I'm not… I don't think…" you scowled glaring at a laughing Kate. "I don’t think I have someone…"
Kate threw her arms around you, her body pressed to yours and the young woman let out a sob burying her face on your neck. You hugged her back, and of course you never noticed Wanda watching from afar.
When you two parted, Kate kissed you softly. Her tears fresh on her face.
“Don’t worry, Y/N, when the time is right you will know.” She said offering a tiny smile you returned.
"Kate, I know it's not fair but we can be friends. I want to be your friend.”
"Oh, we are! You're not getting rid of me that easily." The young woman smiled winking at you. "I told you, didn't I? I want to be an Avenger."
You laughed wrapping your arm around her shoulders shaking your head.
" No, I remembered you specifically telling me you wanna be Hawkeye, who unfortunately, is already taken."
"I can be the legacy!" Kate exclaimed.
"He has children!"
And at that moment you knew the both of you were going to be okay. While you enjoyed the fact that lovers to friends was possible, Wanda felt as her life just ended. It was always like that when she saw you in another’s arms.
______________________________________________________________
The third time it happened…
… you almost died.
It was a mission like any other.
Everyone was in position; the building had been surrounded and the last report said there was not an enhanced fighter inside. Only those who had become addicted to the serum, your eyes went to the watch on your wrist. One minute.
The last couple of weeks had been hard. You and Wanda had drifted apart, it was as if being intimated with her had done more damage than become the opportunity to bring the both of you together.
It was frustrating, really.
You couldn't shake the memory of her from your head. Her eyes so bright and expressive, pupils dilated mouth hanging open, harsh breathing as she came undone in your fingers, with you inside her.
"You okay?" A hand on your forearm, your gaze lifted to find Natasha there frowning with concern in her eyes.
"Yes."
The other woman pursed her lips, she knew you were lying. Things had not been okay with you ever since Tony’s party.
But this was not the time to talk about it
Before Natasha could say something an explosion was heard.
"The cover is blown!! Something is happening/"
Everything went to hell from then on.
They knew they were coming; it was a trap.
You lowered your mask to your face, giving Natasha a wink before jumping into action. You were fighting, you were winning until you were not.
Wanda screamed.
It was all it took for you to knock out the man you were fighting with and spurred into action. The witch was on her knees hands on her head while another crazed woman was pointing her fingers at her wisps of white electricity coming from her fingers to Wanda’s head.
“You messed with the wrong witch.” You said with black energy forming around your hands pushing the other woman away from Wanda, you went right to Wanda who was crying holding her head tightly.
You pulled her to you crawling her in your arms. You were so focused on her you never noticed the other fighter; it was too late. You heard a bang, a blinding pain through your body.
Wanda opened her eyes, she was speaking, tears on her eyes and then…everything went black.
**** Wanda didn’t leave your side for days.
She would always be there holding your hand, hearing the medical reports, telling you all about the daily life at the Compound. The only moment she would leave your side was when your girlfriend Kate was over.
Wanda didn’t want to see how the other woman would talk about the both of you, how incredible you two were. Wanda didn’t want to hear how she lost you to another person. So, she usually left without a word.
But, whenever she was back, Wanda tried to gather the courage to tell you she was in love with you. That you were the only person she thought about every day, that no one, and she meant no one before you had ever touched her the way you did. You were her first in so many aspects, Wanda was afraid to confess. She wished things were different, that you and she were possible…
…Wanda knew it was not possible.
She was so afraid that you would realize she was not the one you wanted.
“Just wake up, please.” Wanda wished she didn’t feel so much, she wished you hadn’t made your way into her heart and she could only love you.
By the third week, in one cold night you took a deep breath.
Wanda woke up startled, her hand on yours her puffy eyes red and green glancing at you hopefully. You groaned trying to talk but your throat was dry, the effort to form words made it impossible for you to say much.
Everything was rushed afterwards, the doctors came in to check on you, then there was the team, your friends, your family and in all this time Wanda never left your side, not even once.
That was until Kate Bishop came rushing in throwing the door open making you jumped in the bed and she threw herself at you before checking for herself nothing had happened.
“What.the.hell.were.you.thinking.” Each word was accentuated with a slap on your arm, you winced, though you couldn’t help the curl in your lips. “Don’t answer, I’m pretty sure you weren’t thinking at all…”
“Miss me much?”
“You’re an idiot.”
“Ah, but I’m your favourite idiot.” You replied tilting your head, Kate snorted hitting you again and soon the conversation changed, your eyes flickered to where Wanda had been sitting only to see the chair empty.
“She always leaves whenever I come by.” Kate followed your stare, settling her eyes on you. “I don’t think she likes me that much.”
“Wanda? Why not?” You wondered puzzle, “I know I haven’t introduced you guys properly, but it’s just…For Wanda it takes time to get use to new people and…”
You trailed off when Kate shot you an incredulous stare, the young woman chuckled grabbing your hand in hers.
“I don’t think it is because she doesn’t know me, Y/N.” Kate could see the confusion in your face, the doubt in your eyes. It was in that moment Kate knew she had been trying to get in the way of something completely unique. Not that she knew, or was doing it on purpose, had she known the deepest of the feelings between them well….
“I don’t think I’m following.” You finally said shrugging. “You’re amazing, I’m pretty sure Wanda just needs time…”
“I think she just needs for me to stop touching you so much, and for you to start paying more attention to her.” Kate rolled her eyes, she glanced at her watch standing up before placing a kiss on the frown you were wearing at the moment. “Don’t be an idiot, and you better make a move before you miss your chance.”
Kate left.
You were left confused.
A part of you, the smart one, knew what Kate was talking about. Another part, the idiot one, was happy with believing it was nothing. That your friendship with Wanda was more important that whatever else might grow between you.
That same night you woke up.
You could hear someone singing, a warm hand grabbing yours tenderly. The voice was sweet, and the song was in another language you knew pretty well even though you didn’t speak it.
“Shh, sorry, did I wake you up?” Wanda leaned in caressing your head, her eyes gleaming strangely at you.
You stirred offering a tired smile before moving to the side, “it was worthy if I get to hear your voice singing like that, Little Witch. Come here.”
Wanda hesitated for a moment; she bit her lower lip before going in the bed with you. You smiled fixing your arm so she could snuggle closer, soon Wanda was resting on your shoulder, her body pressed tightly against yours.
“What were you singing?”
Wanda felt her heart beating so fast, her body warm and tingling all over. She wished this could be forever, that she could have you the way she wanted it without anything or anyone coming in the way. It was so comforting being in your arms, Wanda knew her heart was beating just for you and it broke her so deeply inside her soul knowing you were…that you could never see her under the same light.
“It was a lullaby,” she finally whispered, her hand on your abdomen. “Momma used to sing it to Pietro and me when the bombings started.”
You fixed your position to look into Wanda’s eyes, they almost never spoke about those times. You knew it was a painful memory for Wanda so you never pressed, but whenever Wanda felt like sharing it was because something was bothering her.
“Wanda, are you alright? Today you left so quick…” You started feeling as Wanda tensed looking away. “What is it?”
“I didn’t want to get in the way of your time with your girl.”
You blinked a couple of times confused; Wanda was still tensed in your arms avoiding your eyes.
“My girl? You mean, Kate?” You asked and before Wanda could stand up you brought her back until she was right in front of your face, your arm holding her tightly by the waist.
Wanda scowled at you, though her cheeks were red and her breathing hitched at the position.
“Wanda, you mean Kate?” You asked again, this time more forcefully demanding an answer from the other girl.
Wanda nodded curtly, and you broke into an easy smile. This was the reason Wanda had been so weird as of late? Was she jealous? Was it possible…? Did you dare to hope?
“Wanda, Kate is not my girl.” You explained slowly, observing as the expression on Wanda’s face changed little by little. “I mean, we were. But…I ended it. We are friends, nothing else.”
There was relief in her green eyes, but there was also fear and uncertainty. You thought perhaps this was it, this was the moment the both of you needed to finally get where you were supposed to be. So you leaned in and kiss the girl, slowly tentatively…
Wanda kissed you back, she threw her leg right above your thighs her crotch on your leg. It was in a matter of seconds, the both of you were breathing hard, she was practically on top of you humping your leg. You were tasting her, her moans, her pleasure as she whimpered for more.
The words were at the tip of your tongue when you saw her come undone right on top of you. And your heart almost stopped at how beautiful she looked. You didn’t say anything, though, you just hugged her putting her to you until you both fall asleep.
The next day, you woke up alone.
This time around, there were tears in your eyes.
But you didn’t know exactly why you were crying.
______________________________________________________________
The fourth time it happened you were complete and utterly mad; Wanda was too drunk and it ended up before it could begin.
The party was supposed to happen at a club, it was an inauguration the best business in town were making and the Avengers were the guests of honour. The place was packed and everyone that was somebody in the city was there. You couldn’t help the amusement in your face when Peter came by with a seal on his hand.
“I don’t get it! I’m old enough to fight aliens, and monsters and crime but not old enough to drink!”
Everyone laughed, you passed your arm around Peter still amused by the whole thing.
“Kid, when you’re ready I personally would bring you here to get you waste.” You winked but Peter merely rolled his eyes.
“Right, just so I wake up to a video of me singing in some karaoke bar with a pair of panties in my head!”
“That only happened once, and in our defence, Pietro is too easy.” You laughed as the other man pushed you lightly, the group was sitting around in the VIP longue watching the dance floor an enjoy the drinks.
The group was growing big, and you were enjoying being a part of the family. The conversation went around, and in all this time, you couldn’t stop watching at Wanda who had been so focused on her avoidance of you. It was almost too painful to watch.
It hurt so much to not really know what was happening between you. One day you were okay, you talk and you laugh and it was like nothing had happened, then the next she would just leave.
“You know, I think you have some drool over here…” Tony teased leaning in to wipe the invisible droll on your mouth.
You slapped his hand away rolling your eyes, “I’m not drooling.”
Tony hummed setting back against the chair, everyone was busy holding conversations or just drinking. Wanda was talking with Natasha, though her eyes had been drifting from time to time to the dance floor and the bar before going back to meet your stare. In those moments, your heart would flip with only those green eyes ever present in your mind.
The music blasted through the speakers; Tony cocked his head to you knowing full well in the last couple of months you had changed. It was something so obvious. Or perhaps it wasn’t. Everyone knew you Y/N L/N were a flirt, and kind of a womanizer; you didn’t need to put too much of an effort in doing so. You were charismatic, beautiful, intelligent, strong, independent, and a celebrity.
There were times in which you enjoyed being the centre of attention, while some others you loved your solitude. In all these scenarios though, there had always been on constant ever since their arrival to the Avengers family. And that was Wanda Maximoff.
Tony thought you would change; it was quite obvious you were attracted to the younger woman but as time passed it was friendship that blossomed first. It was a good friendship, sometimes you needed someone bringing you down to earth, and Wanda was just perfect for the job. Time progressed and, again, it was quite evident something was bound to happen.
But it never did.
Until recently.
And now, it would either end in tears or bells.
Tony was betting for bells. Regardless of how heartless he showed himself to the world, these people were his family and the only thing he wanted for them was happiness.
“You should go to her,” Tony finally said to you, you glanced at him out of the corner of your eyes, “this game has been going on for far too long, but something is going to happen and it could be either good or bad for you.”
The music filled the place, Wanda shot you one last glance before she took the hand of Natasha and Clint following them to the dance floor. You swallowed down your emotions, your lips breaking into a bittersweet smile.
“How long have you known?” You asked in a whisper, Tony pursed his lips pretending to be thinking hard about the answer.
“Ever since we brought the twins to the compound.”
You snorted leaning back on the chair, “I found out about five months ago.”
“You were always kinda slow for these things, Y/N.” Tony replied amused, you snickered glancing back at him.
“I’m scared, Tony.” You finally revealed, the irony of you having this conversation with Stark in a bar didn’t go amiss but you continued speaking because if there was someone who could understand that would be Tony.
“I know.” Tony sighed passing a glass of bourbon to you before taking his. “but if you continue being afraid perhaps you will lose something that would be impossible to recover.”
“I don’t want to lose her, Tony. She is…gods, she is just Wanda, you know?” You clenched your eyes closed, hearing the laughter from the man sitting by your side. “She has been my friend since forever and now…I just…”
Tony straightened up turning to you, he took off his glasses and drown the whisky in a single gulp. You arched a brow at him, imitating his actions until you were face to face.
“Do you love her?” The question was direct, it was either a yes or a no.
You didn’t think it twice, “I do. I love her.”
Tony nodded then he leaned in, “are you in love with her?”
This time around you hesitated, the question was different it held a whole new set of meaning that you hadn’t been ready to explore a few days ago. But now…
“I am.” You let go dropping your shoulders, your eyes growing big at the revelation.
Tony smirked at you leaning back, “then don’t waste more of your time chasing after stupid meaningless things. Go to her because that young woman has been in love with you since you said hi to her.”
You chuckled lowering the glass on the table. The fear was still there, but there was also determination. You stood up turning around and following the rest of the group to the dance floor.
Things, however, were not so easy.
You found Wanda.
She wasn’t alone, though.
It was as if time stood still, your eyes watched for a moment as she danced alongside the young man. She was teasing him, you could tell this was all about leading the man on until Wanda would just rejected him in a fit of giggles and flirty stares. The man seemed partially amused, and partially annoyed. You swallowed down your emotions, you and Wanda were nothing more than friends and you had been doing this very same thing since forever.
The right thing to do was to…do nothing. Wanda had never…
You clenched your eyes closed; your fist closed tightly at your sides. The surged of energy running through your body at the mere thought you could lose her, that Wanda might find someone that wasn’t you. That wasn’t as undecided or insecure as you were about the both of you.
“Y/N you better go over there before Wands splashes the man against the wall,” You heard a voice behind you, you turned sharply to see Pietro glancing knowingly at you. “He is getting touchy, and she is already flashing red…”
You furrowed your brows returning your eyes to the scene to see Pietro was right, the young man dancing with Wanda was trying to get to her. His hands were hard against her waist and arm, and Wanda was already giving him a dangerous smile while her eyes were gleaming red.
You were about to go when a hand around your bicep stopped you, you turned to see Pietro looking at you.
“You are my best friend in the whole universe, Y/N.” He started slowly, then he dropped his voice in a threatening tone. “But if you hurt her, I’m going to kill you.”
You laughed giving him a brief hug, “If I hurt her, I’ll kill myself.”
You took of sprinting towards Wanda and his touchy dancer, Pietro crossed his arms looking back at Natasha and Clint.
“You guys owe me 100 bucks.”
******
“Come on! I know a place…” The young man trailed off, his eyes flickering to you in confusion.
“I know a place too,” you said grabbing his hand and taking it away from Wanda’s hips. “It’s call hell, and I can give you a one-way ticket there, if you want.”
“What the hell?!” The man tried to jerk his arm away but your grip on his arm was hard, Wanda gasped putting her own hands on you.
“Y/N, what the hell are you doing?” Wanda slurred out; you furrowed your brows turning to her then to the man until you let him stagger back falling on his ass.
“Are you drunk?” You asked the anger you felt before was nothing compared to what you were feeling at the moment.
Wanda lifted her chin, crossing her arms while glancing at you defiantly.
“What if I am? You do it all the time!” Wanda huffed rolling her eyes, “you know what? Fuck it, I’m leaving. Go and fuck one of your many friends, I bet it won’t take you more than a minute to get one.”
You caught up with Wanda at the back exit of the building, the cold air of night hit you straight on the face and the sound of the music kept on buzzing in your ears.
“Wanda! Wait!” You ran to her and soon found yourself thrown against the closest wall.
You had always known Wanda was powerful, you knew there were times in which she held back for fear of losing control of her powers. But at the moment she was very much in control of everything, you could barely move your breath hitched as your eyes found those of Wanda.
“Wait for what? Uhm?” Wanda leaned closer to you, and the breath filled with alcohol hit you hard. “What should I wait for? That was a nice guy, you know? I have every right to go out and have fun and pick up someone and fuck them all night long!”
You clenched your jaw glaring at the woman in front of you, “no you don’t.”
Wanda furrowed her brows letting go of you, “what do you mean?”
The young witch found herself pressed against the wall, her hands around your head and neck while she wrapped a single leg around you. You drank in her moan, your mouth devouring hers your hands touching every single inch of skin you could reach in a darkened alley. In that single moment you understood, and you smile into the kiss without knowing the demons lurking inside Wanda’s mind.
“No!”
You were pushed back once more, this time around you were ready, and you stopped before you could hit anything. Wanda had her eyes closed, her back against the wall and tears rolling down her cheeks.
“I can’t…I can’t…Y/N I can’t do it again, because every time I do a little piece of me breaks and…”
Wanda let herself be hugged by you, she pressed her face to your chest and held onto you sobbing lightly. You held her tenderly, your hand drawing circles on her back.
“I’m sorry, I just…let me take you home.”
It was not the moment; it was not the time.
The ride home was done in silence, and when you two arrived at the compound Wanda left without looking back.
You sat in the car for a long time, the night had been so full of revelations and emotions. It had been a roller-coaster.
Are you in love with her?
You were.
You really were in love with Wanda Maximoff.
And now, all that was left for you was to make sure you wouldn’t lose her.
______________________________________________________________
The fifth time it happened…it was magical.
The task was simple, to make sure you convince Wanda whatever it was happening between the both of you was real. You were not there for the sex, and you certainly were not there for the rush; what you felt for Wanda was something you had felt for a long time ago but that you had pushed out of your mind for fear to mess up with your friendship with her.
You set to work on your plan as soon as morning arrived.
Wanda came to the kitchen to find a bouquet of flowers with her name on it, there it was warm breakfast and a pair of aspirins and a glass of water. She clenched her eyes closed, the pain of what had happened the night before was still fresh in her heart; but she couldn’t help but melt at the gesture. Your signature was obvious in these little details, it wasn’t the first time you did it and for details like this one Wanda had fallen in love with you.
Vision came into the kitchen with a huge package, he placed it right in the kitchen counter offering Wanda a smile.
“Wanda, I was instructed by Y/N to make sure you received this.” Vision pointed to the box, Wanda glanced at it with curiosity and some apprehension. “She said it was vital for you to use this today.”
“Use? What is it?” Wanda stood up moving to the box, Vision made a face of uncertainty.
“I’m afraid I didn’t ask, but Y/N was quite excited for you to receive it and see your reaction.”
Wanda let out a chuckled, her hands trembling as she undo the knot and open the box. The gasp that left her lips made Vision glanced at her with curiosity. This was the outfit she had dreamt of for a very long time, she had been saving to get the jacket and the boots which were beyond what she could afford at the moment. There was a dress, black with red flowers. Wanda never thought you would remember.
Something inside Wanda broke a little, why was so difficult to just get you out of her head? Why did you insist on doing something so nice only to stump on her heart later?
“Woah, look at that,” Pietro came right in glancing at the contents in the box, “isn’t that the jacket you were dying to buy the other day?”
Wanda pressed her lips together nodding, Pietro placed a hand on her shoulder Wanda looked up to see her brother smiling down at her.
“Good, then go and change because your drive will be here soon to take you to your destination.” He smiled, and his eyes gleamed knowingly at his sister.
“What do you mean?” Wanda was getting confused by the moment, Pietro leaned in so Wanda was the only one who could hear him, even though there was only Vision and them in the kitchen.
“Y/N has something special for you.” Pietro could see as Wanda stiffened under his hand, the young woman looked away shaking her head but before she could do or say something Pietro stopped her. “Little sister, it is about time for you to stop dancing around, Y/N it’s a little dense and you need to stop suffering in silence.”
“Pietro, I don’t think…”
“Then don’t.” Pietro said pushing her playfully. “Y/N really outdo herself this time around, so I really hope you get ready because the ride would be here in over an hour.”
*****
Your breath was taken away by the sight before you.
Wanda had put on the clothes you had given her, fixing her hair in a ponytail and light make up on her you were just charmed by her. You smiled nervously knowing that day would be the day everything between the both of you would change.
“So, I’m here, what is all of this?” Wanda sounded tired, but also curious. She couldn’t help but give you a quick glance over, her flustered expression hidden away by the light scowl on her face. “Y/N about last night…”
“You heart broke every time you and I spent the night together.” You said softly coming to her, your hands grabbing hers. “Why?”
Wanda clenched her jaw looking away from you, she tried to let go of your hands, but you didn’t let her. You sought her eyes in yours, and soon you found yourself captivate by those green eyes.
“Isn’t it enough for you to know that being like that with you breaks my heart?”
You weren’t mean to start the day like this, the conversation was reserved for the surprised you were preparing back at the compound. You offered a tender smile; you freed your hand to brush her cheek and Wanda closed her eyes as if every touch was torture to her. It probably was. You were such an idiot.
“Let me fix my mistakes, Wanda.” You whispered offering a tiny smile, “let me show you, your heart can be healed and that…I will never break it ever again.”
Wanda furrowed her brows, and her eyes glanced at you with a hint of hope in them. You leaned in placing a soft kiss on her lips, your hand intertwined with hers.
“Now, let’s go, I got us VIP passes to the rides in the park.”
Wanda found herself falling in love with you all over again.
The both of you spent the day in the amusement park, going from ride to ride and game to game laughing and talking about everything and anything. Whatever happened between you in the past, whatever had happened to make Wanda miserable was soon forgotten when you just looked at her. When you dedicated every single glance, and smile and words to her.
Your hand against hers, your body closed to hers… it was perfect.
Night had already fallen, Wanda was laughing at some absurdity you were telling her and her laughter made your heart shrank with emotions you were no longer afraid to feel.
“I think it’s getting late,” you said enjoying the disappointment that crossed those green eyes, “but the night is still young, Little Witch, and I still have a surprised for you.”
“You do?” Wanda asked leaning in, you nodded winking at her.
“Always.” You grabbed her hand and dragged her to the parking lot, there was a black bike there with two helmets, you wriggle your eyebrows at her passing one of them to her.
“You don’t think I’m going in that thing with you driving, do you?” Wanda was looking a little unsure about it, you pouted sitting on the bike.
“Don’t you trust me?” You directed the pout to her, your eyes begging to her and Wanda hated her weakness.
“I do.” She mumbled biting her lower lip, you grabbed her hand pulling her to you.
“Then trust me we will be home, and then…” You let the words hanging in the air, Wanda sighed putting the helmet on her.
“If I die, I will come back to hunt your ass.”
You laughed starting the bike, “It’s a deal, Little Witch.”
The compound was made into a great terrain surrounded by mountains, a great forest, and a plateau ready to be used as the headquarters of the Avengers. In the middle of all of this was a great lake, it was the natural border between the forest and the main building and when mornings were cold it was a sight to behold.
You knew Tony had made a small hut, with a harbour right at the other side of the lake. Far away from the lights of the city, or for the watching eyes of Friday.  It wasn’t much, but it was a small piece of heaven you could offer Wanda. A private space in which you would say everything you had been holding back.
The night was warm, and the light of the stars and the moon reflected in the calm waters of the lake. Wanda was trembling, her heart beating fast and her body tingling in anticipation; you came to her from behind, your arms sneaking around her waist putting her to you.
“Y/N…” Your name was like a prayer on her lips, you smiled wondering why you had wait so long to this. To have her in your arms like this.
“Please, Y/N don’t…” Wanda disentangled her arms from her, turning around you could see the tears in her eyes.
“Wanda…”
Wanda put a finger to your lips, she clenched her eyes closed before opening them again.
“If this is a game just…walk away right now. I promise you we are still friends, and I may need some time apart, but we will be friends.” Wanda said and her voice was trembling as much as her body. “I can’t …. I don’t’ think I will be able to continue if this is a game…”
“How long have you been in love with me?” You asked without any preamble, Wanda gasped her cheeks burning in embarrassment.
“I…” She snorted looking away from you, taking a step back. “I don’t think…”
“Answer me.” You insisted rather forcefully, Wanda clenched her jaw glaring at you.
“Ever since you…” Wanda took a deep breath. “Ever since you said hi to me.”
You shook your head, passing a hand through your hair. Wanda put her arms around herself, the day that had started fairly okay was turning out to be a nightmare.
“I’ve been in love with you since you smiled at me that first morning.” You revealed letting go of the tension on your body, you locked your stare with hers stepping closer. “I knew that I wanted to keep that smile on you forever.”
“What?” Wanda whispered in disbelief, you shrugged cutting the distance wrapping your arms around her again.
“I’m in love with you, Wanda. I’m sorry it took me this long to realise all I wanted was you.”
“Y/N please dont I just…I was happy with knowing what It was like to be with you, but I can’t not if this is…”
You cut her off with your lips on hers, it was a tender kiss that poured all the emotions you were experiencing at the moment. Her hands went to you, and Wanda was soon submitting to the kiss clinging to every touch, every sigh. When air was needed and you two parted, you pressed your forehead to hers.
“Gods, Wanda you are the only one…only you.” You whispered opening your eyes to let her see the truth behind your words. “I know I messed up, I know I’ve been around and I…I’m just a fool. But…believe me when I tell you, it’s you and only you, now and forever, if you let me?”
Wanda would like to say she was stronger than this, that she could just step back and said no. No because you had hurt her, because she had run away from the possibility of this being a reality and you just…not wanting to be there.
But she couldn’t.
And thus, the both of you kissed under the stars, and Wanda would forever remember the way you took her clothes off, how tender was your touch as you mapped out every single corner of her body, How your mouth taste and marked her skin as she whimper and whispered your name into the night.
The fifth time was magical.
And it was the moment in which the both of you sealed your destiny.
It was meant to be.
______________________________________________________________
You lost the count after the time number 200th.
It was crazy how things change in such a short amount of time, and after that night at the harbour your life had never been the same.
Wanda became your life, and you hers.
It took some time, but the both of you built a relationship around the hardships of being superheroes. You grew together, and separately always pushing one another to be better. You went through tears, and sorrow, happiness and nostalgia. And soon the world changed as well, new heroes came by and you and her were free to retire.
You turned around on the bed, your arms wrapping around the form of your wife. Wanda smiled softly biting her lips as your lips closed around her pulse point, your fingers dancing around the skin under her pj’s moving down to her shorts and making sure to sneak inside the waistband.
“Morning, Little Witch.” Her nickname always sounded right in your voice, she arched her back throwing a leg back right above your hips. “mmm, baby, are you ready for me?”
“Morning, love,” Wanda whispered her eyes fluttering open to find the picture of your wedding looking back at her. “I’m always ready for you, baby.”
You chuckled turning her around and leaning in to kiss her hard, Wanda chuckled into the kiss and everything was going according to your plan when the door of the room banged open and you and Wanda jumped away from one another.
“MOM! Billy messed up with my posters again!!” The little flash of blue jumped in the bed crossing his arms and pouting.
“IT’S A LIE! MOMMA!” Then in came Billy, followed closed by Sparky all of them jumping in the bed.
You held back your laughter at the pout on your wife’s face. The twins were arguing on the bed, while Sparky was barking like crazy.
You wouldn’t change anything in the world for this, for your family. Everything you and Wanda had lived up until this point was worth whatever interruption you get in the morning, the quickies you two enjoyed in the shower or the late nights helping with forgotten homework. Or the early morning making sure the twins and Wanda were doing fine.
Wanda sat up lifting a single hand to stop the bickering, you sat back putting her to you while lifting a single eyebrow at the boys.
“Now, we’re going to start from the beginning without arguing, Billy what happened?”
Wanda snuggled against you, her smile almost impossible to wipe out as you heard the explanation of Billy. Tommy made faces, he disagreed with some portions of the story while wincing at other parts.  Then it was Tommy’s time to do the explanations, Wanda chuckled shaking her head while you just rolled your eyes.
“Okay, boys, since it is almost impossible for you two to share and be nice once in a while, we will make breakfast.”
“Mom!”
“Momma!”
The twins whined; Wanda chuckled ready to stand up when you pulled her back to the bed. She was surprised, and you loved the fact she still could blush whenever you were so close to her in such an unexpected way.
“And you, Mrs. Maximoff, are going to stay in bed while me and the boys tend to your every whim.” You kissed her slowly, the twins making gagging noises in the back.
Wanda chuckled putting a hand on your cheek, “Baby, last time you and the boys try to cook, you almost burn the house down.”
“It was Tony’s house, I’m not about to burn ours.” You gave her a peck on the lips before standing up.
“Tommy, Billy to the kitchen, we have to defend our honour and present your mother with the best breakfast ever, come on!”
Billy scrunched up his nose, Tommy pursed his lips coming closer to you.
“So, we’re going to do cereal and orange juice?” Billy asked, you shrugged making a face.
“I think that’s our best bet.” You replied wrapping your arms around them.
Wanda laid back down on the bed watching you and the twins going to the kitchen. The road to this moment had been hard, and it began unexpectedly. She never thought it would end up the way it did, Wanda sighed hugging your pillow to her. She wouldn’t want it any other way.
There was a loud crash and then a bark and laughter.
Wanda rolled her eyes, though she never lost her smile and she decided to go and help you and the boys out.
Her family.
Her happily ever after.

Tumblr media
It’s been a whole year since Wanda and y/n had started dating, months of friendship until a love between them was confessed, The love they had for each other was unlike any other love, Wanda cared so much for y/n and the way y/n loved Wanda made her feel so safe and comfortable. She hadn’t felt like that since she lost Pietro, but meeting y/n was the piece she needed to feel complete again.
But there was something that really made Wanda feel a little insecure…she had never met y/n’s family. She had heard about them, y/n saying her mother had called, a cousin had left a message, an aunt asking for her, etc. But y/n had never asked Wanda to go to her house with her. Never. Not even in a phone call. Not too long ago, y/n had asked Wanda to move in together, Wanda had agreed but she still felt she needed to meet those who formed part of y/n’s life. Nat knew them, why couldn’t she meet them at least once?
“So…how is your mother?” Wanda asked as she looked up at y/n while she took a sip of her coffee.
Y/n looked up at Wanda and shrugged. “She’s okay. She’s been busy.”
Wanda nodded. “Right. I get that.”
Y/n nodded as she went to grab her coffee. Nat looked at y/n and furrowed her brows. “Isn’t the annual meeting coming? In your mom’s house.”
Y/n looked back at Nat and her eyes widened as she stared at her. “I…I don’t know.”
“I thought you had said yes.”
“Are you going to a party with your family, and you didn’t think about telling me that?” Wanda looked between Nat and y/n.
“I…well…I mean.”
“Nice.” Wanda stood up and left the kitchen.
Y/n sighed as she looked at Nat. “Seriously?”
“I thought she knew! I’m sorry…”
“I just…Nat…you know them.”
Natasha nodded as she looked at you. “I know.”
Y/n sighed. “I’ll go talk to Wanda.”
Y/n went to their room and knocked on the door, the door suddenly opening alone. Y/n saw Wanda laying on the bed hugging a pillow, she smiled a little and walked to the bed, sitting right beside her.
“I’m sorry. For not telling you.”
“I just want to know why you don’t want me to meet them.” Wanda looked up at her. “You told me you were out already. Is it…me? Am I the real problem? Because of what-“
“No! No…Wanda…it's not you, my love.” Y/n ran her fingers through Wanda’s hair. “I didn’t know it was that important…”
Wanda chuckled. “We are going to move in together very soon. Don’t you think it’s important?”
Y/n nodded. “Yes. That’s why I want you…to come with me.” She smiled a little.
Wanda smiled. “You serious?”
“Yeah. We can go. Next Saturday, we’ll have to leave early because it’s a little far from here.”
Wanda sat up and jumped on her, kissing her lips. “Sounds great, detka.” She giggled as she hugged y/n.
____________________
Wanda had been so excited that day that she woke up before y/n, choosing a pretty dress, picking her best jewelry and all, she had even cooked a cake to impress them. Y/n could see how excited she actually was, which made her heart melt, but it also made y/n so nervous and anxious, she didn’t know how her family would act. Almost 2 hrs of driving, they finally arrived to y/n’s old house. Wanda wanted to leave the car as soon as y/n parked, but y/n grabbed her hand, making Wanda look at her.
“So…there’s something I wanna tell you.”
Wanda looked at her curious. “Okay…what is it?”
“My…family is kinda…harsh. They are not exactly like me, I’m the black sheep. So I want you to be prepared.”
Wanda smiled as she leaned in and kissed y/n’s lips softly. “It’ll be okay. We got this.”
Y/n nodded. “Yes…”
Y/n sighed as she left the car and rapidly went to open Wanda’s door, offering her hand and helping Wanda step out. They walked hand in hand to the house, y/n could feel her blood running through her whole body as they got closer and closer to the house. She took a moment before she knocked on the door, feeling suddenly unsafe. The moment her mom opened it, y/n’s heart dropped, faking a smile as she saw her.
“Y/n!! You’re here! Oh, hun. I thought you wouldn’t make it. They are all here and-“ She then looked at Wanda and raised her brows. “Is this your girlfriend?”
“Hi, mom.” Y/n nodded as she swallowed. “Yes. This is…Wanda…Wanda Maximoff.”
Wanda smiled. “Hi, Mrs. y/l/n. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” She let go of y/n’s hand to shake her mom’s.
“Oh come over here! Welcome! And call me m/n, we are family!” Y/n’s mom rapidly hugged Wanda, laughing as she did.
Y/n felt so uncomfortable already, but the smile on Wanda’s face was everything, she couldn’t ruin this moment, not when y/n knew exactly what her family could say or do. They went ahead and walked into the house. Everyone greeted both of them so happily and excitedly, it was almost unreal. Y/n’s mom went ahead and took Wanda around the house, introducing her and laughing with her.
Y/n tried to stay in a corner, ignoring everyone’s stares, she knew sooner or later the comments would come. She jumped slightly as she felt a hand on her shoulder, hearing Wanda giggling at the reaction.
“My love, what are you doing here? You should be with me. Your mom is the sweetest, she introduced me to everyone, everyone is so nice.” Wanda wrapped her arms around you as she kissed your cheek.
Y/n chuckled nervously as she nodded. “Right. They…they are all nice.”
Wanda furrowed her brows. “Oh c’mon, detka. Join me, I’m sure they’ve missed you.” She smiled. “I’ll go help your mom seat the table outside. Meet me there when you’re ready?”
Y/n nodded, smiling as Wanda kissed her cheek before leaving. She rolled her eyes and leaned her head back on the wall. All of this was way too weird, her family didn’t even talk, and her mother was…nice to Wanda. It’s all that mattered.
It had been a few minutes since they had sat down at the table, her mother had sat them down beside her, saying she wanted to have them close to her. Y/n laughed every now and then as she heard everyone’s stories, but the uncomfortableness was still there.
“So, y/n…how did you get to meet such a cutie?” Her cousin said as he smiled, looking at Wanda.
Y/n felt her blood boiling as she stared at him. “I got lucky. Feels like I won in life.” She looked at Wanda and smiled as Wanda placed her hand on top of hers.
“I won. The piece I needed in my life.” Wanda smiled softly.
“Well, glad you broke up with that…girl. What was her name?” M/n looked around the table and laughed as she heard different names.
“Kate…”
“Oh yes! She was nice but…you didn’t deserve her.”
Wanda furrowed her brows as she looked at m/n, thinking back at how y/n had said that she never had a bad relationship, they just didn’t work. She looked back at y/n and noticed the sad look on her face.
“She was way too good for you.” Her aunt dared to say as she laughed along with the whole family.
“Oh yes, Kate was so pretty and such a nice girl. Y/n had to ruin it of course but…now she has you Wanda…hopefully she’s not causing you any disturbance. My daughter can be…a little too much.”
“Mom…please stop.” Y/n whispered softly as she looked down.
“I’ve told you not to whisper. Speak loudly.”
“Please stop.” Y/n looked at her, feeling her eyes getting teary. “Can we not talk about this?”
“Oh but there’s always something to talk about you, y/n. How you left school because of your ‘mental health’. You not wanting to work with Kate’s mom because it was too much. I have no doubt you’ve been failing again in life.” M/n laughed.
“If she causes you trouble, Wanda, our family has a lot of good girls and boys. We do not judge preferences here.” Her aunt laughed alone m/n, making the rest of the family laugh.
“But you judge your family?” Wanda suddenly snapped.
Y/n looked at Wanda surprised. “Wanda…”
“How dare you talk to her like that? Have you heard yourself?” Wanda stared at m/n. “It’s your daughter.”
“And I accept that my daughter is a mess. She easily gives up, she has failed us. I recognize a failure when I see it.” Y/n rapidly stood up and ran inside the house. “I forgot weak.” They all laughed and started making comments about her.
“You’re all unbelievable.” Wanda’s eyes turned red as she felt her blood boiling, feeling so mad, she didn’t know what to do or say. “Y/n is the best person I have ever met in my life. She has loved me even with my flaws because I am not perfect as you think I am. But at least, I am a much better person than all of you together.” She stood up. “And you know what? Y/n has done an amazing job. She’s an agent and does what all of you could never do. “She shook her head. “You’re all shitty people, y/n do not deserve any of this, and I regret coming. You won’t ever see us again. Go to hell.” Wanda moved her hand and made their drinks fall on their laps, making most of them scream. “And enjoy the cake.
Wanda walked inside the house, as she passed through the kitchen, she saw the cake and moved her fingers to add a little ingredient to it. She noticed the front door open. She slowly walked to the car and noticed y/n sitting on the passenger's seat, so without saying a word, she sat on the driver's seat and grabbed the keys from y/n’s bag, starting the car rapidly so they could leave.
____________________
Y/n went into their room as soon as they entered the compound, not saying a word even though everyone was in the living room and had noticed when they arrived. Natasha stared at Wanda with a worrying face and Wanda only shook her head. Wanda decided to sit with Natasha for a moment as she explained, wanting to give y/n a moment for herself.
An hour or so passed and Wanda had finally gone upstairs to their room, opening to the door quietly. Her heart broke when she heard y/n still crying, regretting how she had pushed her to take her to her mom’s.
“Y/n?” Wanda asked quietly as she placed y/n’s bag on the small sofa they had. “Can I…”
“They are right, you know?” Y/n sobbed. “I do not deserve you.”
Wanda furrowed her brows and shook her head. “What? Of course you do. Don’t listen to them.” Wanda walked to the bed and hugged y/n. “You’re everything I need. I couldn’t be me without you.” She sighed. “You’re my life…and my love. You’re my home.”
Y/n looked up at Wanda as she sobbed. “I knew this would happen.”
“I’m so sorry I made you go.”
“You didn’t know. I should’ve told you.” Y/n shook her head. “But they never believe me because my mom is so fake…all of them. Until they just can’t hold it anymore.”
“She’s a bitch.”
Y/n chuckled sadly. “Yes. She is.”
Wanda kissed her forehead as y/n moved to lay on Wanda and hugged her tightly. “You don’t have to ever see her again. I made that clear.”
Y/n looked at her confused. “What…what did you do?”
Wanda shrugged. “Just…a little something.” She smirked. “They might get stomachache though…”
“Wanda!” Y/n laughed softly. “Thank you.”
Wanda laughed as she kissed her nose. “I love you…so much. And you’ll always have me, no matter what.”
Y/n smiled as she kissed her, pulling her even closer. “You’re my safe place. And I love you so much.”
“I love you more.” Wanda smiled. “Let’s forget about them and let’s have a movie night. Tomorrow we can go shopping for our new home.”
Y/n nodded. “Sounds great. Let’s watch a movie but…kiss me first.” She bit her lip as she smiled.
Wanda chuckled as she leaned in and kissed her lips softly, hugging her tightly.

Another one shot!
I'm honestly so proud of what I wrote. It took me like 10 months to write and perfect it. It might be better than my Tony Stark/reader one-shot. To be fair, I did crank out my Tony Stark/Reader one shot in two days. I was also sleep deprived haha
Back on the topic of my one-shot, it's not really spicy, but spicy stuff is mentioned. It's fluff and angst with a happy ending and somewhat of a rewrite of a scene in CA: CW. If y'all decide to take a look at my one-shot, I'd LOVE to hear your thoughts. I still have a long way to go with my writing, so constructive criticism is always welcome!!

La Petite Mort
Wanda Maximoff X Reader
Summary: With Vision occupied, you decide it’s the perfect time to get Wanda some much deserved payback. (More of a plot chapter tbh)
Warnings: Smut 18+. Minors DNI. Vandalism, cheating. Eating out.
Authors Note: Thought a bit of mischief from R was long overdue all things considered. Also wanted to focus a chapter on showing just how bad R has it for Wanda (but in a more romantic way) because Wanda deserves to be romanced and not just lusted after. Also… as always… here’s the inspo for this chapter!

The air was tense with a charged silence as the minutes dragged on. It was well past 8:30 now. Vision and Wanda sat opposite each other at the kitchen island where Vis decided to pour himself a drink. With each passing minute, Wanda’s lightning storm of emotions became more and more overwhelming.
What would he say? Would he judge her harshly? Did she really care? 8:57 pm.
Wanda stood up abruptly, going upstairs and leaving the man in the kitchen to go find a robe or something to cover up more. Of course, it was when she was in the depths of her walk-in closet that you finally knocked on the front door. A first for you, but you wanted to indulge today.
The door to the familiar house opened and you finally saw her husband up close. You’d be lying if you said he didn’t look like a disappointment. He had an alligator grin as he sipped on a glass of white wine.
“Can I help you?” Vision asked slowly, assessing you. Despite how pretty you were, Vision usually opted to not flirt with less effeminate people. You wanted to scoff, noticing his eyes drifting over you.
“Hey!” You put on your friendliest voice, a tone that was so high pitch it was practically a foreign voice, but effective nonetheless. “I couldn’t help noticing… It looks like someone slashed the tires on your car?” You did your best to sound confused and by the look on Vision's face, he bought it.
The man quickly scrambled out to the driveway to assess the damage. His already low-suspension vehicle now had its frame resting on the ground. It had been a long time since you’d seen a reaction this satisfying. The man babbled and fussed, clearly flabbergasted by the state of his car (which you also took the time to key into the side of).
The best part was when he walked around and saw the bright pink paint job on the back, depicting a rather crude drawing of a penis and the word “cheater” (just for laughs). The man gave an audible gasp, immediately leaning forward and touching the wet spray paint. You held firm in your composure.
His attention was fully on his car while you leaned on the threshold of the front door. A few minutes passed of him frantically calling his insurance company and he was still on the phone when Wanda arrived, covered by her favorite silk robe. 9:05 pm.
“Seems like rotten luck,” You whispered amusedly to Wanda. At first, she furrowed her brows in confusion until the dots connected in her head and she whacked your shoulder playfully. She wondered what she’d missed while she was upstairs.
“Did he say anything to you?” Wanda asked.
“No, I just came to let him know about his tires. Since I’m a considerate and outstanding citizen,” You joked and Wanda rolled her eyes at your antics. That's when Vision finally hung up the phone, storming past both you and Wanda back inside the house. She tilted her head, drawing her eyebrows together into a slight frown.
“What did you do?” She asked, more curious than anything as she looked at the damaged car.
“Oh… I noticed that he came home and it looked like he was upsetting you,” You shrugged and Wanda’s eyes snapped back to you.
“So you-” Wanda began.
“Yes, because you deserve better,” You said low and firm.
“Like you?” Wanda teased and your serious expression broke out into a smirk.
“Baby, I’m the best around. I’ll treat you right,” You said in such a cheesy and sleazy way that Wanda couldn't help giggling like a schoolgirl.
“That was awful,” Wanda laughed and you joined her, admiring the way the corner of her eyes crinkle when she’s being genuine. The moment was interrupted by the sound of something slamming shut. Wanda, coming back to her senses, looked frantically between you and the hallway leading into the house.
“I’ll come back later,” You whispered and she let out a breath of relief. “Just don't forget about me, okay?” You continued and her lips turned up into a small smile as she nodded at your words. Though, you did notice how she stayed outside as she watched you walk away. It was oddly reassuring.
“Can you fucking believe that?!?” Vision ranted. “Who the fuck does that to a stranger's car???” he asked to no one in particular, now on his 4th glass of wine. Wanda sat there, bored out of her mind, but glad he didn't suspect you as the culprit.
“Who was that at the door?” Wanda asked, testing to see if Vis figured out you were there for her. The man just shrugged off the question, more absorbed in his building anger toward the universe. First, a wife who couldn't give him a family, and now this? His car and its modifications weren't cheap.
That night Vision crashed in the guest room across the hall from the master bedroom. Wanda was let down that you'd left so early on in the night, but it was probably for the best. The games you played were always dangerous, but she never wanted to see you get caught.
It was nearing two in the morning when Wanda heard a quiet tap on her window.
The woman sat up, pulling the sheets with her as she was now void of any clothing. After rubbing the sleep from her eye she opened the window, immediately turning back and laying in her bed as you expertly climbed in with a frown. Part of you wished she greeted you with a kiss.
Your eyes softened when you looked over at her sleepy expression, rubbing her eyes with the palms of her hands. The action almost made you feel bad for the night you had planned, but you were as determined as ever. Despite Wanda’s whispered questions you leaned down and pecked her cheek before going to her closet, finding some comfortable and warm clothing for her to go out in.
The second you set the clothes on the edge of the bed, the woman grabbed your collar, pulling you on top of her. Wanda could feel you smiling into the kiss and a warmth bloomed in her chest. After the stressful events today, your kisses were a welcome respite.
Her fingers floated just under the hem of your sweater, finding you weren't wearing a shirt underneath. Wanda bit her lip as yours ventured to her neck, nipping playfully at her skin. Closing her eyes, she let one hand press flat against your stomach, just above your waist before slipping it to the small of your back, urging you closer.
Your breathing was a bit more labored now, your mind fogging up and distracting you completely from the task at hand, until you heard the thud of the clothing you picked out as it hit the floor. Wanda whimpered when you stopped and detangled yourself from her.
“I know it's late, but I did plan on taking you somewhere special if you'll let me,” You said, confusing the woman once again. Anything that ever happened with the two of you happened within the confines of her home. Her private and now not-so-safe space.
“Where are we going?” She asked, sitting up once more. The thin sheet covering her pooled around her waist and you lost your train of thought for a moment.
“Oh, uh…” You shook your head and focused back on the task at hand. You had a very important woman to impress after all. “Nowhere crazy. I just thought you'd like a break from he who shall not be named?” You offered, nervous now. Wanda didn't normally ask questions and you weren't usually one to explain yourself.
“I’m tired… but I think I’d like that,” Wanda said with a yawn, wrapping her arms around her torso as the cold air was starting to get to her. You beamed as you scrambled to get the clothes, offering them to her gently and doing your best to keep your hands to yourself when she stood up to dress herself.
Normally, you'd be watching her take clothes off.
After sneaking off into the night and getting into your car that was parked down the street, you pulled up your phone to put on some music and handed it to Wanda. Tonight seemed to be a night of firsts and you were curious about her taste in music.
As you let her scramble to find a song you put the car into gear and began the 30-minute drive out of town. It's quiet and you find yourself sinking into the coziness of the warm car. Wanda’s taste in music doesn't disappoint either. There was no way you would've guessed that her go-to was metal music-which startled you since the volume was already turned up in the car.
When you could spare a glance, you’d find her mouthing the words and gently nodding along to the beat. It contradicted everything you thought you knew about her and it made you smile like an idiot. You try not to assume too much about people, but if you did you knew you'd be at a loss with Wanda.
20 minutes into the drive she was comfortable enough to fully kick back into her seat, still watching the world pass by through the window. Her hair had always been down before, but now it was tied up in a lazy ponytail. Her hand that rested on the door was tapping some intricate pattern as if she knew the stops and starts of the song by heart.
When you arrived, killing the engine and leaving the both of you in the dark, she finally spoke.
“You don't happen to also be a serial killer, do you?” Wanda joked and you snorted when you laughed. The woman got her payback, giving you a taste of your own medicine when it came to teasing. When you clarified that it was safe and you weren’t that unhinged she exited the car.
A never-ending expanse of fields and rolling hills stretched in front of you. To the right, there was a small trail leading through a bunch of trees. Taking the married woman’s hand in your own, you began to lead her down the trail and to a small clearing. There were long logs on the ground where the tops had been worn into semi-uncomfortable seats.
It wasn’t long before you started a modest little fire in the pit at the center and only then did Wanda realize you had a small bag slung over your shoulder. She watched as you moved around the space, clearly putting things in the perfect place for what you had planned. A small blanket, folded over the log to make the seat softer, an electric lantern for when the fire went out and you’d have to head back, and a small jar. It was full, but in the dull light, Wanda was unable to discern what it was that filled the container.
As the fire began crackling and you stood from your hunched position over it, Wanda heard you let out a long breath. If she knew anything about you she’d almost call you out for seeming nervous, but as her eyes glanced at the items you brought she noticed the shimmering of metal inside the jar. She averted her eyes quickly as you sat next to her. You spent hours thinking about what to do, but you couldn’t make up your mind on how you wanted to tell her.
“Do you trust me?” You asked, eyes still trained on the fire. Poor, tired Wanda yawned and replied with a quick yes. “Can I trust you?” You asked, more pointedly now. Her head whipped to the side, locking eyes with yours. She turned the thought over in her mind for several moments before slowly nodding in response. The corners of your eyes softened before you turned back to the trees in front of you.
“I’ve never felt like this before,” Wanda admitted aloud. She’d known it since that first night, but saying the words brought a rush of freedom that she never expected. “I’ve never felt so seen and I’ve never wanted to know someone as deeply as I want to know you,” the weight fell off of her chest and for the first time in years, she took a deep and unrestrained breath.
You chewed on your lower lip, deep in thought as you tried to slyly reach down for the jar. Wanda’s eyes noticed the movement and her lips turned up into a small smile, her eyes starting to water a little. You had a penchant for being quite romantic, even if you didn’t realize it. The carnal nature of your relationship gave the impression that you should fight your feelings, but your words and actions often contradicted themselves.
“I… I hope I’m not assuming too much with this, and you don’t have to say it back or feel the same about me, but…” Your mouth opened and closed several times. Wanda could barely hear your quiet words over the sound of her own heart trying to beat out of her chest. The jar slipped from your hand, falling to the ground before you quickly recovered it, tucking the item closer to your stomach as you finally let out the words, “I love you.”
Wanda’s hands flew over her mouth, her eyes endearing as they watered from your words.
“I love you too,” she confessed and you turned to her, surprised. The jar fell to the ground once more as she pounced from her spot, crashing her lips into yours for a bruising kiss. It was full of trust and promises unspoken as it turned from hasty affection to a slower more languid movement.
When you parted you couldn’t keep the smile off your face, much more confident in your feelings for the woman next to you. You picked up the jar one last time, rings you’d been collecting since your obsession began. The bag you brought was flattened onto the ground between your feet and you poured the rings on top of it, spreading them out before turning back to Wanda.
“You pick one for me and I pick one for you?” You ask and the woman laughed, now fully awake. Seeing you hunched over the shiny variety of jewelry, looking up at her doe-eyed… it made her stomach flip every which way. With another nod, Wanda leaned down to find the right one for you.
At least ten minutes had passed and the time spent had been glorious. The two of you giggled like schoolgirls as you slipped different rings onto each other’s hands in an attempt to find not only the right size but also a fitting aesthetic. Yours was a rather plain silver signet ring with a bat on it. A symbol of your nocturnal nature.
Wanda’s ring, the final choice from you, was a simple yet elegant band. The diamonds reflected in a way that reminded you of a snowflake. A symbol of how perfect and light the woman was. When all was said and done, she helped you scoop the rest back into the container and pulled you in for another kiss, smiling into it the same as you.
Despite the cold breeze passing through, Wanda felt impossibly warm in the face. She couldn’t remember the last time she smiled so much her face hurt. You saw Wanda. You saw her… and you loved her for who she was.
That’s all that matters right?
It’s all that mattered when you moved the blanket to cover the ground, pulling her onto your lap to straddle you before you began heavily making out with each other.
“This can always be our place. Just for us,” You mumbled against her lips and she groaned, feeling your hot breath hitting her neck.
“Please,” she whispered out, both in confirmation and as an ask to go further. She was always needy for you, but this felt different from before. Still carnal as ever, but now the intimacy dug deeper into her being. The devotion that had been hidden, lurking under the surface for so long was now out in the open.
And it felt so damn good.
Not much longer after that, Wanda was laid out on the blanket. Her sweats and underwear were hanging off of one ankle as you laid between her thighs, using your tongue and fingers in tandem. Despite the cold feeling around your knees as they sunk into the dirt to support your weight, you wouldn’t have it any other way, devouring your lover long after the fire started to die down.
It was dark outside, but the birds began to sing right before Wanda reached her final orgasm for the night. Her ears rang and the last remnants of the stars began to fade into a cotton candy pink sky. You sat up, crawling to Wanda’s side and kissing her cheek. Wanda raised her hand into view and the last thing she saw before she fell asleep, were the diamonds of her new ring catching the first light of day.

Tumblr media
guilt had become the constant in your life.
you had never felt such a strong feeling before, and as much as you tried to swallow it down and go about your day as normal, the gnawing ache of shame ate away at you until all you were left with is a hollow shell of disgrace.
in your defence, you and your little life were perfectly fine before now, it was you, your dad, a few close friends and your wonderful girlfriend who you had been dating for quite a while now. you were content and happy until a certain woman came crashing into your life unexpectedly like a bulldozer and flipped your world and everything you knew upside down.
albeit, none of this was her fault. all she did was meet a man and fall in love. how was she supposed to know the man had a shitty daughter?
well, that's how you'd best describe yourself. you felt sinful and disgusting every time your eyes stayed fixated on the older woman for a second too long. every time a smooth patch of her skin was exposed from her shirt innocently riding up and all you wanted to do was reach out and feel her soft, milky skin under your fingertips.
or your mouth, either or was fine with you.
you hated how much of the woman consumed your thoughts throughout the day. what she was doing, if she was having a busy day at work, if she'd had plenty of sleep, drinking water, was taking care of herself.
all thoughts that you should be relating to your girlfriend, not your stepmother.
but alas, you were and all you could do was pretend like the woman wasn't the first thing on your mind when you woke up and the last thing when you went to sleep.
it was proving really hard to do when she wasn't a cliched wicked stepmother. you honestly would prefer it if she was, but instead, she was perfect, poised and so, so pretty. she treated you like you were her own and was so sweet to you, it made you feel sick.
you were now six months into your spiral of shame. your stepmother and father were happy and your girlfriend was still blissfully unaware of the crush you harboured for the older woman. you kind of wanted to pride yourself on how well you've hidden the feelings. it was painfully difficult, to say the least. she was and is the most beautiful woman you had ever laid eyes on. so smart and funny and charming and-
"y/n, are you listening to me?"
your head shot up as a voice pulled you out of your thoughts. the voice belonged to a concerned redhead who was perched in front of the island in the kitchen, her hands skillfully cutting up vegetables for the dinner you'd be sharing.
"i- sorry wanda, i'm just tired. i didn't get much sleep last night. what were you saying?"
the older woman frowned at that. her mind thinking of all the possibilities as to why. were you stressed about university? girlfriend trouble? the strong urge to fix whatever problem you had quickly replaced whatever thought wanda currently possessed.
"aw no, how come, my love? are you using the tea i bought for you? you know, my mother always said-"
"chamomile tea helps you get eight hours of sleep, i know, i know. are you sure you're not just making that up?" you tease, an eyebrow wiggling at her as she continues to dice her bell peppers. "i mean, as a soon-to-be holder of an english lit degree, i for one have never heard of that saying"
wanda eyed you playfully, her hands still working on autopilot as the knife carefully sliced the ingredients below her. you had seen her do it plenty of times before and it still never failed to impress you.
"well, smarty pants i think you've forgotten i'm sokovian. ever heard of a little something called translation?"
you rolled your eyes at that. of course, you hadn't forgotten, it was also another aspect of wanda that consumed your every waking thought. the way her r's rolled off of her tongue, her accent growing thicker the sleepier or more frustrated she got.
everything about her voice never failed to make you ache with want.
“ya trenirovalsya, mozhesh' skazat'?” you gaily shot back, a small smile playing on your lips when you saw the redhead's eyes widen in surprise.
“my my, smart girl indeed, i can tell. you’re getting better" wanda mused as her gaze from you dropped to finish off the last of the vegetables before turning around to put them all in the simmering pan on the stove. "now, why aren’t you sleeping properly?"
your eyes slowly fell, the gnawing guilt returning as they landed on the swell of the sokovians' ass.
“uh, no reason” you mumble in response, your eyes staying trained on how well the jeans hugged every curve of hers. “i think it might be uni stress”
i’m lying. it’s you, i can’t stop thinking about you.
wanda placed the cutting board on the countertop next to the stove before turning back to face you. your eyes instantly dart up and you just pray she didn’t catch your lingering stare.
if she did, wanda didn’t show any sign of it.
“i’m sorry darling, is there anything i can help you with?”
you shot her a lopsided smile before clearing your throat and answering with a “i’ll be okay once finals are over, but thank you”
“i might not be your mumiya but i’m always here if you need me”
i do need you. in more ways than you know.
“that's mommy, right? well, you're a better one than she'll ever be”
it didn't dawn on you until a few seconds later. your mouth just moving without ever thinking about how it would sound.. or maybe you're just overanalysing this? your gaze drops to your hands as you mindlessly start playing with your fingers nervously. not everyone believes that word to be sexualised, right?
“i-“ wanda cleared her throat, turning to busy herself with the pan behind her. “i’m glad you think of me as such, malysh”
the older woman gripped at the wooden spoon she used to stir the food with. “now, why don’t you get your father from his study and i’ll dish everything out”
you were thankful wanda had yet to turn around, as a shy blush must be evident on your cheeks right now. “sure, wanda. thank you, by the way, it smells great”
the redhead couldn’t help but beam at your approval as she continued to mindfully stir the food before turning the gas off and moving the pan to an empty burner.
when she heard your footsteps retreat, wanda let out a sigh as her hands fell to grip the counter in front of her, willing herself to calm her beating heart and the pulse that formed much lower.
"so, how's it going with kate, y/n?" your father wasn't one to ask too many questions. the man would always let you do as you please, even as a kid. of course he was protective, but he also trusted your decisions. thus, usually keeping his curiosity to himself. "i haven't seen her around here much lately"
you continued to chew your food before raising your head to meet his small smile and kind eyes. "we've just both been busy, i guess. i am seeing her tomorrow though, we're going to a party and then going back to her house after"
the sound of cutlery clattering on a plate made you jump, the noise cutting through the silence of the room like a knife and you instantly turned your head to where the sound came from.
wanda sat there, unfazed at her disturbance as she stared back at you. her eyes narrowed in on you as she pursed her lips. "a party? what kind?"
you let out a chuckle at the question, your mind not quite registering the redhead's hard gaze and peeved demeanour. "the kind that you don't really remember the next day? you've heard of them, right?"
wanda sucked the tip of her tongue between her pearly white teeth and fought the urge to correct you on your bratty attitude. in actuality, if she was being honest with herself, you didn't have one at all, you were being your usual playful self. the older woman was just taken aback and albeit slightly annoyed at the mention of your partner.
but, she was just looking out for you, right? like a good mother should, even if she was a step.
"yes, sweetheart, parties were around in the eighteen-hundreds"
the sound of your laugh helped ease some of the tension in the sokovians shoulders and she couldn't help but let a smile shine through as it echoed throughout her mind and invaded every sense of her being.
"damn, you all partied during the ipswich witch trials? that's hardcore, wanda, even for you"
wanda chuckled in response. "oh yeah, but i was just celebrating because i wasn't caught"
you sniggered at that, replying with a, "do you reckon i could still get the bounty if i ratted you out?" before returning to your food.
the redhead let out a playful gasp, her arm stretching over the corner of the dining table to swat at your shoulder. "you wouldn't dare! plus who would make you all these meals if i'm burned at the stake?"
you hummed at that, your finger coming to rest on your chin as you tapped at it, pretending to linger in thought on the question. "you make a point and i don't think i could survive without them"
the redhead beamed proudly at that before she heard the telltale sign of her husband's impatience and feelings of being left out as he cleared his throat.
"so, about that party, y/n. when are you thinking of leaving?" he asked, before placing his fork on his now-empty plate.
wanda mentally rolled her eyes, her sour mood instantly returning at the question. that was until an idea popped into her head and the scowl that formed on her face quickly inched into a smirk. "how about you stay in with me tomorrow night instead? your father will be gone for his conference and i could sure use the company"
you struggled to swallow down your food as your mouth dried up and you immediately reached for the glass of water to ease it down.
"oh, that's a great idea!" your father intervened, the sound of wood scraping against the floor as he pushed back his chair and stood up. "a bit of mother-daughter bonding time might help alleviate your stress"
your eyes stayed trained on your plate as you tried to muster up any excuse you could think of as to why that wouldn't be such a great idea.
unfortunately, your brain short-circuited and your mind went blank.
"i- but what would i tell kate and the rest of my friends?" you asked, your head raising to meet the redhead who was already staring back at you.
you wanted to audibly groan at the way she looked at you. soft, doe eyes bore into you and you found it impossible to deny her.
"you know what, just leave it with me, i'll tell them you're sick or something and i need to take care of you"
wanda's plump lips instantly curled into a smile at your response. exactly y/n, she thought. you need to take care of your mommy.
the next morning you were awoken by the sound of a sweet voice humming the tune of a song you didn't know, the sound started small until it faded into earshot and grew louder.
you turned your body onto your back to stretch, and your eyes soon flickered open to see wanda towering over you. a mug of steaming tea in one hand and two slices of toast on a small plate in the other.
"good morning, i thought i'd bring you breakfast in bed" the older woman smiled before placing them down on your bedside table.
when your eyes properly came into focus, you gulped dryly at the sight.
wanda was wearing a silk scarlet nightgown with a matching short robe to match, the colour was a striking contrast to the milky skin that lay underneath and your eyes flashed down to see she had yet to put on a bra. the cold morning air was clearly evident in the room as your eyes trailed away from pebbled nipples that strained behind her nightwear.
shit.
"thank you," you managed to croak out, one of your hands reaching up to wipe away the sleep from your eyes, using your other to push yourself upwards to rest your back on your pillows. "i'm excited for today, do you have anything in mind for what we should do?"
it took everything in you to not reach out a hand to yank your stepmom into your bed and have your way with her. because, god, how you longed to feel the warmth of her body underneath you as you trail your fingers over the apex of her hips and down to her soft thig-
"me too, malysh. i have some errands to do first, so while we're out we could do some shopping and grab some food?"
you nodded in response, a shy smile playing on your lips as the older woman's eyes bore into you. under wanda's gaze, you felt minuscule like a goddess who was staring down at you, a lesser deity.
but the sokovian never saw you in such a light, in her mind you were a woman worth worshipping. a magnificent being that should be held up on a pedestal for all the world to adore.
"good, i'll go and get dressed while you eat and get ready"
a few hours had passed since you woke up, and both you and wanda were now walking around the mall aimlessly with no destination or rush to be anywhere. the two of you just spoke about anything and everything until the occasional gasp left your lips when something caught your eye in a store window.
"do you want it?" the redhead would ask, her eyes trained on your face to gauge your reaction.
most of the time your eyes would widen upon seeing the price before sighing in defeat and setting it back on the shelf and muttering, "no, it's okay. i'll wait until my birthday or something"
against your wishes, wanda would pick up what you held in your hands moments ago before waltzing over to the tills, her hips swaying with purpose as she quickly pays for it. wanda then walks back to you like it was no big deal with the said item now in a plastic bag as she hands it to you.
soon enough you were now walking through the mall with a few bags in your hands and wanda carrying the rest in hers.
guilt weighed heavy on your chest as you looked down at what you were holding. wanda, who was walking a couple of steps in front of you turned to see your bottom lip jutted out and your eyebrows contorted.
"what's wrong, detka?," her legs came to a stop and her face was quickly etched with worry. "do want to leave?"
your eyes instantly met hers and you could feel the guilt building up your throat, threatening to spill at any given moment. "what? no, of course not! i'm sorry... i- i just feel bad that you've gotten me all of this stuff. i can't imagine it came cheap"
the sokovian shook her head with a chuckle. "don't worry about money, sweetheart i'm fine.. plus you deserve it. i want to spoil you, so don't feel bad about it"
as much as you wanted to argue that you didn't deserve it, you bit your tongue and smiled in response. "you're right, thank you wanda. i am really grateful for everything, although i do still feel bad, is there anything i can do for you?"
full pink lips curled into a small smirk at the question. there was definitely something she wanted you to do but she knew she could never ask that of you, could never step over the line and cross a boundary that should remain uncrossed.
you watched as wanda pondered for a moment before shaking her head. "thank you, y/n. but, i don't want anything in return, just being with you today is enough"
your heart swelled ten times at that and you instantly felt your heart beat deep and fast in your throat. this woman was going to be the death of you.
"so, how about i open a bottle of wine and you pick a movie for us to watch?" the sokovians' voice echoed loudly in your mind, pulling your attention away from the bags filled with everything wanda had bought for you.
you raised your head to see wanda standing in front of you. the position of you on your knees on the carpeted floor instantly dawned on you as the older woman's figure towered over you. you gulped dryly before pushing yourself upwards on your hands to stand face to face with the redhead.
"of course, wands. any suggestions?" you asked meekly, shifting your weight on your feet slightly as you tried your best to maintain eye contact with her.
your stepmother shrugged in response before taking a step back you almost wanted to whine and close the distance between you but you swallowed down the urge and kept yourself still, frozen like a statue.
"your choice, dorogoy. i'll be right back with the wine" and with that, wanda took even more several steps back until the distance grew. she then rounded the sofa and entered through the swinging door and into the kitchen.
you breathed a sigh of relief, a breath you didn't even realise you were holding. you willed yourself to calm your beating heart and moved over to the cabinet beside the television, your eyes scanning the selection of movies and box sets of tv shows.
your lips instantly curled into a smile upon seeing a certain one.
you opened the glass door before sliding out the box set, your hands racing to pull out one of the discs and quickly place it into the DVD player. you couldn't wait to see the look on wanda's face when she sees the loading-screen play on the television.
you heard the door swing open once again, wanda's sweet voice sounding behind you as she began to speak. "so what did you decide on?"
a gasp left her lips when her eyes landed on the television and saw the loading screen of her all-time favourite tv show.
"oh my god, the dick van dyke show?!"
you stood to turn around and face the older woman and you felt pride beam brightly in your chest at the smile that was plastered on her face.
"yeah," you said sheepishly, your cheeks flushing a hint of pink. "i know it's your favourite"
wanda stepped closer to the sofa before reaching down to place the two wine glasses and the bottle on the table in front of it. "you're too sweet, detka. i don't even think your father remembers that"
the pride enlarged even more at the fact and you couldn't help the evidential blush on your cheeks brightening. "well, dads stupider than i thought if he doesn't remember something like that about you"
it was now wanda’s turn to blush, and as she felt the heat rise to her cheeks she quickly busied herself with opening the wine and pouring it into both glasses, more so in hers than yours.
“i’ve actually never seen it before, you know?” you mention, before kneeling off the ground and wiping your now sweaty palms onto the jeans that hugged your thighs.
“wow, really? well, there’s a first for everything," wanda smiled and you swear your heart skipped the smallest beat when you saw those dimples form in her cheeks. "i haven't seen that dragon show you like so much"
you make your way over to the sofa and plop yourself down, shifting slightly to situate yourself and get comfortable. "dragon sho- oh, you mean game of thrones?"
wanda hums in response as the rim of the glass sits perfectly on her lips to take a sip of her wine.
wanda watched intently as you mimicked her actions. the way your arm flexed when you leaned forward to pick up the glass and how your lips look deliciously wet as you licked away the lasting taste of the wine you had just sipped. it was a sight to see and it made the sokovian's head reel with lust.
"it's a great show," you finally respond, tucking your feet under yourself before leaning back onto the comfy cushions behind you. "i could show it to you sometime, maybe? it's well-acted and has great storylines in it, just be prepared for a lot of sex scenes"
wanda sniggers at that, "medieval porn? i'm sold"
you laugh loudly, the sound escaping you before you could even attempt to lower the volume. you almost want to apologise for the outburst but when you turn your head to wanda, she's staring back at you with a cheshire cat grin that eases your anxiety.
the night carried on smoothly, you and wanda laugh over the bottle of wine as you switch between watching the episodes of the dick van dyke show and talking about different topics and interests. the drunker you get the more random the conversations become.
and as you look at wanda, her smile reaching from ear to ear as she watches a scene unfold on the television, it only seems to make your drunken crush-filled mind worsen.
"wanda, can i ask you something?"
you clamp your mouth shut as soon as the words leave your mouth and you instantly mentally scold your brain for speaking without so much as a thought of the possible consequences.
wanda reaches forward to set her empty glass on the wooden table before shifting slightly to turn and face you. "of course, sweetheart. you can ask me anything"
you swallow dryly, making you lift your wine glass to your lips to finish off the rest of what's in there. you chew on your bottom lips nervously, your eyes staying focused on the glass in your hand. "can you.. does it make you a bad person if you're with someone and you like someone else?"
wanda's brows knit together as the words hit her ears. she stays silent for a moment before her lips part slightly, thinking of the best way to answer such a question. "i think that's a query that could have many different answers, moya lyubov"
she pauses for a moment.
just a moment and the tranquillity makes you hear your heart beat loudly in every pulse point of your body.
"why do you ask?"
you shouldn't say it. you really shouldn't.
but, the alcohol had settled within you a while ago and it left you tipsy, needy and with a newfound confidence that screamed at you to tell her everything. to just confess even if it could leave you humiliated and deflated. "well, the thing is.."
the words faded on your tongue, quickly dying as wanda's big green eyes bore into you and what felt like, your soul.
"go on," wanda urged, her arm reaching over to place a gentle hand on top of your thigh, just below your kneecap. she gave it a soft squeeze before continuing. "you can do it"
"i'm happy with kate, she's great. but, there's this other person and i just.. i don't know what to do. i feel like such a shitty person"
wanda arched an eyebrow, her lips parting just an inch. "okay, i- how long have you been seeing this other person?"
"the thing is, i haven't, it's complicated, they don't even know how i feel"
your heartbeat was deafening as it beat loudly in your ears. you should stop, this is a bad idea.
"i can't tell them because then it'll ruin everything and i like what we have right now but, i can't eat, i.. i can't sleep, they're all i think about and more"
wanda's grip on your thigh tightened as you spoke and all your brain could do was stare at her hand, using it as a fice to focus on, anything to keep your eyes from welling up and breaking like a dam as you splurge out the truth and every pent up emotion you've felt since wanda entered your life.
"oh, honey. i'm sorry this is happening, maybe you'll feel better if you're honest with this other person? i mean, what's the worst that could happen?"
you let out a shaky breath, your eyes pricking with tears as you look up from her hand and into the sea of green that lies beneath her eyes. "you could hate me"
"i don't understand- i could never hate you, y/n. how could i?"
you didn't respond, you couldn't. the words felt trapped in your mouth, the honesty dancing on your tongue in a silent battle with your brain and all you could do was hang your head in shame as wanda's body stiffened, her hand loosening its grip on you as her face soon turned to realization. "oh"

tysm for the request anon <3 I hope this works
From This List
---
"Have you been using your powers all day?" You watched the crimson glow light up the room as Wanda tidied up the place. Slowly fading until it was gone and everything was no longer in defiance of gravity, luckily you hadn't fully snuck up on her or everything would be crashing back down instead of taking a controlled descent.
Tony was usually the one harping and biting off ears if even one thing was out of place in the tower. But the iron clad hero had sworn to steer clear of the tower, just until the bug that was mercilessly making its rounds ran its course, without catching him in the cross hairs.
Wanda sniffed, straightening a bit, "what are you doing here?" You'd clearly surprised her, showing up without forewarning, she wasn't expecting you and maybe that was what seemed to have her defensive and on edge.
It wouldn't be true to your word if you said it didn't hurt a little, part of you hoping for a warmer welcome. It's not that you planned to make it a surprise, more so it slipped your mind, stopping by the tower felt like such a casual act.
You breezily cleared your throat, crossing your arms over your chest, "do I need a reason to check up on my girlfriend?" You offered a soft laugh because it was an odd question to be asked by the woman who you shared a bond with and most nights shared a bed with.
Most nights excluded the past week and a half; Wanda instead insisted on hanging around the tower, insisted on making sure things didn't go full blown Ultron again while most of the big six were out of commission.
"I don't need you checking up on me." Wanda's face was stern, backing her words, but her voice didn't hold up all the same. There was an unmistakable waver sewn into her words. She didn't need you checking up on her, of course she didn't, but need and want were sometimes world's apart.
You looked to reason with her, "I know I just-" you paused, now that you'd walked to close the space between you and her. Wanda was more than aware of your eyes on her, not quite scrutinizing but a determination to absorb every aspect of her physical appearance.
She shifted on her feet, feeling like she was under a microscope.
"-are you feeling alright, sweetheart?" You asked worry culminating in your voice. You wanted to take her cheeks in your hand; cheeks that were brushed with what you could only describe as a feverish red. But you resisted.
There was no fighting the worry that creeped into your throat, Wanda was spending a lot of time at the tower, and there was the undeniable cold making its way through the ranks, of course you were automatically putting two-and-two together.
It was only a matter of time before it caught up with her; super soldier Cap had come down with it, so it was only reasonable that everyone else would be counting down the days until it struck them as well.
Wanda sniffled, rubbing at her nose, trying her best to present it as casual. She wasn't in the mood for talking this over with you, "Look," she sighed and took a step back, "I'm kind of busy." Looking away from you ,"and you shouldn't even be here."
She continued to rub at her nose, it was clearly bothering her more than she was willing to admit, casual turning into a more desperate act. Only succeeding in proving her own point in the worst way; Wanda hastily ducked into the sleeve of her cozy cardigain with a collective of wet sneezes. She shivered after the fact.
"Bless you," You cooed, your worry solidifying in your gut. Wanda sniffed, "you'll get sick too." She finished her sentiment. You could now hear the congestion and grogginess in her voice.
"And what about you?" You tested with a raised brow. She was so worried about everyone else, so worried about making up for her past via retribution and even more so worried about the possibility of lingering resentment.
It hadn't even occurred to Wanda to take a break. Hadn't occurred to her that she deserved one. She deserved to cut herself some slack.
"What about me." Wanda was fully unaware.
You pinched at the bridge of your nose in frustration, "you're obviously working yourself to death babe," your voice was feather light. "Do you feel warm?" You carefully pressed the back of your hand to her cheek before turning it over so you could cup her face in the palm of your hand.
Wanda made a noise in the back of her throat. "I'm fine-" her voice caught, pulling away from you with another spell of sneezes that had her curling in on herself, "I do know my own limits."
You nodded, slow, in understanding. Wanda did knew her own limits, but only so she could push herself to and then beyond said limits. They didn't mean anything if Wanda wasn't going to listen to her own body. She was coming down with something and her limits would become strained in a way that was out of her control.
Wanda sighed, letting her shoulders sag a bit, "I don't get to make mistakes. My past mistakes have hurt people. And all of that doesn't just go away now that I'm an Avenger."
She let out a tired groan, her face visibly falling, jaw going slack and nose scrunching with jagged breaths. "I'm guh..hh-" She pithed forward into your steadying arms, each sneeze more ragged than the one before. It was all visibly weighing on her and sucking what little energy she had out of her.
"Whoa hey…hey!" you moved quickly to hold her in your arms, "You’re dead on your feet, poor thing." Wanda allowed herself to relax in the familiarity with another feverish chill, "what if the team needs me?" She questioned, finally loosening the stubborn grip she had on trying to make amends.
You shook your head, kissing the top of hers "you need some sleep."
You held her tightly as she tensed in your arm, her nose wasn't done and she wasn't going to be catching a break from it anytime soon, doing her best to twist away to prevent herself from sneezing directly onto your shirt.
"And some tissues," You chuckled, giving Wanda a kiss on the temple, "bless you babes."
"Sorry," Wanda snuffled, rubbing her nose into the fabric of her cardigan, "what about you?" She echoed your previous sentiment, not quite asking the question she really wanted to. Knowing it was a lot to ask of you; to be cooped up in bed with her.
"There's absolutely no way I'm leaving you alone," you reassured. "You're gonna show me how to make your favorite Romani dish and then-" "Then you're going to end up sick like the rest of us," Wanda interrupted before you could finish your caring sentiment.
"Not if you keep your germs to yourself" you laughed, tucking her hair behind her ears, "bless you."
