the workers will jokingly say "you can't come in without him sis"

ARTHUR BOYLE

you were getting ready to go, you told arthur that you will be back after running to the hair store

he insisted on going with you because he says "your majesty should be accompanied by protection" or something

when you take him, all of the workers were shocked because they didn't expect you to come in with him

since you were close to them, you talked frequently about your relationship with arthur, to which they told you to bring him to the shop sometime

though, they didn't know the time would be now

when you and some customer was going for the last hair gel, HE DREW HIS DAMN SWORD saying "let it go, peseant"

at least you got it

the maniquenns be throwing him off because he's all like "DID THEY GET BEHEADED

overall, 10/10 experience with him at the hair store

BENIMARU SHINMON

at first, he didn't want to go because he's lazy, but since you bribed him with sukiyaki, he took the offer and went with you

boy was that a bad idea

this nigga had everybody staring at both you and him (yall compliment each other so well)

so many people didn't know if they wanted to be you, or be him

will probably complain that you're there for a while

i know this nigga got some nice ass curls before he got that damn silk press

so you got some hair products for him as well because you wanted to see what his hair looked like

he was against it at first, but gave in to your persuasive nature

safe to say, them curls were GLORIOUS

VULCAN JOSEPH

he interested in how you do your hair and wants to learn how to do it and which hair to use

he will accompany you because he just loves being there with you in public

he's fascinated by the way you instantly know which hair to get for each hair style

"get red so we can match" is a common phrase FOR EVERY HAIR STYLE

will tell you to get a certain hairstyle because he knows you will look great in it

tell you to get a product because it smells nice

the man loves animals, so he got beef with gorilla snot

"THEY TAKING SNOT FROM A GORILLA?! HELL NAH"

yea, quite the experience

OGUN MONTGOMERY

he went because it's like a chore going with you

he constantly complains about not having enough products for his hair, especially conditioner

so when he goes with you, he instantly goes into the section with durags and conditioner

he will also get some little gold accessories to put in his hair and will get you some for your hair

he wants to get matching bonnets and durags with you because he thinks that yall will be like them black couples on pinterest

will offer to pay for everything (to which you object to sometimes but he still pays for it)

HE KNOWS HOW TO DO YOUR HAIR

will pick out the color of the braiding hair because he knows which ones will suit you better

It’s a few days later and you’ve all returned from another hard day at work. Everyone starts undoing their fire safety clothes as they enter the fire house, some splitting into their bunks and others heading to the break room to grab something to eat or just hang out.

You walk into the building behind Vulcan, the top of his fire suit already wrapped around his waist leaving just his black wifebeater exposed. The sun shone on his back, making the small beads of sweat glisten on his slightly tanned skin.

You swallow your nerves and decide to speak up before he enters his room.

“H-hey Vulcan, can we talk for a minute,” you say, voice slightly shaking

“Yeah, just come into my room with me. It’s no problem,” he says

You feel a blush start to creep on your cheeks

“Uh o-okay,” you say, nerves fluttering around in your stomach the way a hummingbird’s wings would

He let’s put a small, breathy laugh and sucks his breath in.

He opens his door and you both enter his room.

“Make yourself at home,” he says

You find yourself a spot on his bed and scoot up, so that you back is on the wall. You grab one of his pillows and put it in your lap.

“So,” he starts,“what’d you wanna talk to me about?”

He’s sitting on a chair facing you, looking in your eyes attentively. You see a softness. The same softness that was there when you leaned on him. When he held you. When he got you through one of your hard days.

“I wanted to thank you for the other day. You didn’t have to be there for me, but you were anyway. You didn’t force me to talk. You were just there and-thank you. It meant a lot to me,” you say honestly

You feel that your heart rate has sped up.

“No need to thank me darlin’, I could just tell by your eyes that you needed someone to just be there and I wanted to reassure you that you were safe to do it with me,” he says, never breaking eye contact with you

You blush and are slightly taken aback. You give him a small smile, your heart aflutter once more.

You place the pillow that’s in your lap in it’s original place on the bed.

You do a slight crawl to the edge of the bed to be closer to him. You place a small peck on his cheek.

“Thank you.”

Once you meet his gaze again, you notice a flush has been place on his cheeks that’s wasn’t previously there. You notice his jaw tighten and release.

“ ‘ts fine,” he says lowly and avoiding eye contact with you

“You okay,” you drag out

“Yeah, fine..that was just a little..unexpected,” he says nervously

You start to laugh

“Hey, what’s so funny,” he says gaining his confidence back

“I’ve just never see you so flustered before,” you say through laughter

“W-well,” he says then trails off

You laugh again

“Sorry for catching you off guard Vulcan, it won’t happen again,” you say comforting him

He’s quiet for a second

“I mean, I wouldn’t be opposed if it did,” he says honestly

You feel your heart flutter and your face grow hot

He lets out a small laugh to your reaction.

“So cute,” he says

He cups your face in his right hand and moves in closer. You close your eyes to brace for the impact of his lips. He gives you a small peck on your forehead and you feel you body fully relax.

“Go shower,” he whispers against your forehead

You get up from the bed and like a puppy, obey what he says. He follows suit and walks you to the door.

He opens the door and you turn to face him.

“See you later,” you say

“See you,” he say with a small smile

You take your leave and make your way to bathe.

After you’re out of his sight, he closes his door, then slightly flips on his bed.

He lays on his back and smiles at the thought of you.

Viktor and Vulcan (Fire Force)

“Wait, wait…let me see if I’m understanding you right.” Vulcan stared at Viktor incredulously. “You want to take a blood sample from me?”

Viktor nodded. “I’ve never studied the difference between a pyrokinetic’s blood and a normal person’s blood before – I figured that’s something I should get around to eventually. For science and all that.”

“What possible reason could you have for doing that?”

“There are many scientific benefits to studying different blood types, let alone the difference in blood between humans and pyros…” Viktor trailed off when he saw how pale Vulcan was getting, then stepped aside and gestured to a small vial of blood sitting on his work table. “If it makes you feel better, Shinra already offered to give me a sample of his pyro blood.”

“Well, yeah. It’s Shinra. The kid’s willing to do just about anything if it helps another person.”

Viktor tilted his head. “And you’re not?”

Vulcan let out a frustrated sigh. “It’s not the blood, Vik. It’s…the needles.” He shivered. “I hate needles, all right? There, I said it.”

“Oh! That’s perfectly natural. Plenty of people are scared of needles.” Viktor stepped forward and dipped into his friend’s eyesight. “But it only takes a minute, and it won’t hurt. I don’t even require you to fast for eight hours beforehand and all that.”

Vulcan didn’t look convinced.

Viktor took his arm and held it out. “Look. This is where I’d draw the sample…” The scientist gently ran a finger along the inside of Vulcan’s elbow.

The engineer gasped and yanked his arm away like he’d been burned.

“What—?”

“Sorry,” Vulcan said quickly, looking even more embarrassed now. “I’m…I’m ticklish there.”

There was silence for a long moment.

Then Viktor grinned at him. “Oh?”

“Do not even think about it—”

“I’d be more than willing to test that out for science in lieu of taking a blood sample,” the brunette grinned, lunging for Vulcan just as the other man turned to book it. He managed to wrap his arms around his middle from behind and dig into his ribs, drawing a laugh out of the engineer.

“Stahahahahap, freakin’ mahahahad scientist! Nohohohohoho!”

Viktor beamed. “You know, I think this is a much more efficient use of my time right now. Don’t you agree?”

Despite himself, Vulcan had to agree it was better than getting his blood drawn.

Fire Force: Company 8 Men (When You’re On Your Period)

Shinra Kusakabe

Doesn’t know what to do at first tbh.

He panics when you tell him about your “monthly visitor” is making you bleed profusely, but calms down when he realizes it’s just menstruation.

Fumbles around, trying to get you the pad/tampon size you asked for…only to come back with all of them.

“I-I didn’t know which one to get,” he says as he looks down at his feet.

You reassure him that it’s okay, and you appreciate the gesture.

Don’t worry. He’ll become more prepared over time. 

Arthur Boyle

Oh boy.

He’s confused as h*ck. How can you be bleeding and not die?

He wasn’t really educated about these things, having been abandoned by his parents.

Blushes hard when you explain it all to him (he’ll still be confused and in shock for a little while before calming down).

Is on guard for you, 24/7.

“How can I assist you in defeating this red demon?” he bellows dramatically.

You can’t help but burst into laughter as you hug him tightly.

He’s very forgetful about what to do, but he’ll will try his best to help and support you.

Vulcan Joseph

After living with Lisa, he’s got period prep down to a T. 

Need a heating pad? He’s already got it. Water? There’s a bottle already in your hand. Favorite music? Done. He’s got you, bb. 

Turns into the biggest softie when you’re having a bad day (cramping, breaking out, bleeding through, etc). 

“I got you some Midol, baby,” he murmurs as he rubs your sides, adjusting the heat pack to the best position that makes your cramps melt away. 

TL;DR: Vulcan has experience and he knows how to use it. 

Viktor Licht

Tall gremlin man.

He knows what a period is…he’s just not familiar with how to help someone who’s on their period.

He’ll ask you if you need anything, trying to be casual about it (but still kind of awkward).

Viktor will research (aka Google) for days about what to do when a significant other is menstruating. 

He learns very quickly, both from being with you and his “research”, and becomes a pro in no time.

“I got you your (favorite candy), some tampons, and some pain meds. Oh, I also put on (favorite movie),” he says before placing a gentle kiss on your forehead.

Takehisa Hinawa

(This man scares the crap out of me ngl).

He’ll keep his usual straight face when you tell him you’re on your period.

Hinawa will then promptly go to the store and get everything you requested.

His forte is getting what you need. Comforting you on the other hand…

“It’s a cramp. Just take some medicine,” he tells you, thinking that he’s giving you some light at the end of the tunnel.😬😬😬

He quickly learns that being blunt isn’t always the best way to comfort someone. 

He’s better than Arthur, but not as great as Vulcan. Hinawa is probably somewhere in-between (but he can get better, as long as you tell him how to emotionally support you just as well as he physically supports you). 

Akitaru Obi

This tank of a man will drop everything and run to your place when you tell him you’re having terrible cramps and can’t get out of bed.

He’ll rush in and draw you a bath (if that’s your thing), making sure to gently place you into the tub while massaging any muscles that ache.

Obi will spoil you so, so much. He’ll treat you like the queen you are.

However, he won’t always get you unhealthy food you ask for. He wants his baby to be healthy and hydrated. 

“I know it’s not chocolate, but strawberries can be just as romantic,” he insists with his big, goofy smile and a wink. 

Obi’s just a big teddy bear. Even if you don’t feel beautiful, dealing with cramps, bloating, and break-outs, he’ll praise and encourage you until those negative thoughts go away. 

He’s always down for snuggling if you ask him to, holding you close to his warm body as you fall asleep in his arms.
