1.Song of the year? Dream Girl Evil by Florence and the Machine So nice of Miss Florence to make a song thats not only a bop but also specifically the theme song for my oc Hydrangea

2.Album of the year? I don't listen to many full albums but for me it would have to be a tie between Give me the Future by Bastille and Impera by Ghost 3.Favorite musical artist / group you started listening to this year? Ghost 4.Movie of the year? Everything Everywhere All At Once! Like i don't even need to think about it. Unlike anything ive ever seen, so interesting and heartwearming. Excellent performances and costuming 5.TV show of the year? Oh man this one is touh bcs i had 3 shows ive been obsessed with this year…. Our Flag Means Death, Severance or Interview with the Vampire 6.Episode of tv or webisode that defined the year for you? Not defined the year but the best ep of anything ive seen this year was the the season finale ep of Severance. It was so excellent at keeping up the tension for the entirety of the ep. I was pacing and yelling and restless for the full length of it. Just amazing storytelling of everything coming to a head and the editing...my god!!!

7.Favorite actor of the year? I don't care that much about actors to have a fave of the year 8.Game of the year? I was a teenage exocolonist. Just finished my 4rth playthrough and i think i may have 2 more in me bc i want to see different outcomes/choices 9.Best month for you this year? Idk they sorta all blend into one? But December is when i have 2 weeks off work and also the weather is beautiful and sunny so im going to say that and not think about it too much.

10.Something that made you cry this year? A friend was never available to see me despite my multiple attempts to meet up and even though i didnt mind for a lot of it, eventually it started hurting my feelings. 11.Something you want to do again next year? Go on a mini vacation. I took a week off work to visit friends in Tasmania and i think i would be nice to visit some other place next year as well. 12.Talk about a new friend you made this year? I think we'd chatted a little on twitter and also possibly met irl once? But anyway yeah i formally met and befiended the partner of a friend and we rly got along! 13.How was your birthday this year? I went to this super expensive viking themed restaurant ive wanted to go to since 2019! Food, drinks, service, all excellent. I was dressed to the nines in my sequin dress and after i went for a little night walk around the city. It was gr8! 14.Favorite book you read this year? A nobleman's guide to scandals and shipwrecks by Mackenzi Lee. The Montague siblings series is such easy reading for me so i had a fun time! 15.What’s a bad habit you picked up this year? Forgetting to take my acne medication but i also took steps to prevent that so were good now 16.Post a picture from the beginning of the year Actually the first pic i took in 2022

Oh i already mentioned my birthday dinner so instead ill mention the brunch i made for my friends when i visited them in Tasmania.I was going to make eggs, bacon, homemade flatbread and some other stuff but my time management was off and it took me sooo long to make everything.In the end it was more like a lunch than brunch^^; But everyone was so patient with me and in the end the food was yummy and everyone liked it and we played dnd and had a great time :) 19.What’re you excited about for next year? Going to be getting a new phone and also....idk i havent made any big plans but i look forward to the little moments of joy and indulgence that will come. 20.What’s something you learned this year? Im sure theres life stuff i learned but what im psyched about is learning how to make scones. Its so freakin easy!!! 21.What’s something new about your place of residence (room, home, or general location) now vs the start of the year? After living here for about a year,i decided to finally put shit up on the walls of my room.Paintings and fairy lights and i plan on having a little colection of magpie prints too.It rly lifted my mood and brightened up the space. 22.Favorite place you visited this year? Oh man i was just stoked to visit Tasmania and see friends! I need to travel more bcs i love seeing new places. 23.If you could send a message to yourself back on the first day of the year, what would it be? Do not catastrophise when someone upsets you. Just sleep on it and then act. People sometimes are stupid and thoughtless,not secretly malicious. 24.Did you keep any New Year’s Resolutions? I usually have a few and some years i end up completing them, other years i dont. This year my only resolution is to comment on people's art more. Thats fucken it. 25.Did you create any characters (in games, art, or writing) this year? Describe one. Many actually bcs aside from various ocs, i run some trp games where i make 10+ npcs for. I guess one would be Winnie an npc i made for a game who i put so little thought in. Like i needed a character to fullfill a certain role so i recycled an old oc design and gave her like 2 personalty traits. Then though as we played, we all ended up liking her way more than id planned so anyway now she's in the queue to be an upcoming pc for a dnd campaign (with a slight redesign)

It also seems that the engineer’s tease was 100% intended, but was getting worried when people suddenly expected Reed Richard to show up. A lot was left on the cutting room floor, so it may have originally had a bigger pay-off. They also confess that a lot of CGI edits were a bit awkward, as pointed out by Smith, as they had to finalize those post-lockdown. Monica was even originally going to have a bigger role in the finale, such as her, the kids, Ralph, and Darcy trying to steal the Darkhold from the basement. There we would find out that the bunny Scratchy was a demon. It was all filmed but they couldn’t finish the VFX for it.

2021 is nearly in the books and Hulu is celebrating by heading back to the past…like, the way past. With its list of new releases for December 2021, Hulu is going positive Medieval with two swords and shield original series arriving this month.

Animated comedy Crossing Swords premieres its second season on Dec. 10. This stop-motion style tale follows Patrick (Nicholas Hoult) as he works his way up the feudal latter of The Kingdom. This will be complemented by Dragons: The Nine Realms on Dec. 23. This series is set in the How to Train Your Dragon universe and takes place over 1,000 years after the events of the films. In it, a group of modern day kids uncover the secret truth about dragons.

Hulu also has some more current options for TV this month. Original comedy Pen15 premieres the second half of its second season on Dec. 3. Watch it to relive the trauma of middle school through the eyes of creators and lead actors (yes, playing middle schoolers) Anna Konkle and Maya Erskine. Closing out the month is season 10 of chatty Canadian comedy Letterkenny.

For movie lovers, December brings true crime documentary Dead Asleep on Dec. 16 and Chloë Grace Moretz thriller Mother/Android on Dec. 17. Library titles include Friday the 13th, The Princess Bride, and World War Z.

Sentai Acquires New Anime

Sentai Filmworks has acquired several new anime titles for this year:

HOUSTON, TX — May 27, 2021 — Sentai announced today that it acquired Nozo x Kimi, the risqué comedy OVA spinoff series of Nozoki Ana, for audiences in the United States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Republic of South Africa, Latin America and Scandinavia.

Kimio Suga didn’t intend anything untoward, but a cascading series of unlucky events leaves him hiding in a gym locker as his female classmates return from PE class. Luckily he’s found by Nozomi Komine, a shy classmate who covers for Kimio despite his incriminating predicament. But Nozomi isn’t as demure as she seems, because shortly after saving Kimio, she blackmails him into a series of clandestine and compromising scenarios!

A production of Studio Zexcs (Diabolik Lovers, Cuticle Detective Inaba, Say “I Love You”), Nozo x Kimi is directed by Masato Jinbo (Senryu Girl, Restaurant to Another World, Shomin Sample) with series composition from Hideki Shirane (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, Hayate the Combat Butler!!, Tenchi Muyo! War on Geminar). The OVA series stars Ayaka Suwa (The Fruit of Grisaia, Love Lab, The Demon Girl Next Door) as Nozomi Komine and Yusuke Kobayashi (Darwin’s Game, Dr. Stone, Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-) as Kimio Suga.

Reacting To: The Hollow (Season 2 Episode 7)

Episode Title: Unbalanced

Spoiler Warning: Kindly proceed if you’ve already seen the episode or simply don’t care about spoilers.

1. As we’ve seen from the previous episode, our main characters are stuck on a platform at the tip of a mountain, all thanks to Weirdy. It’s also starting to get very windy, which causes the platform to tip over even more. They talk about how it’s frustrating for them to go through so many hardships in this game only to get turned away by Weirdy.

2. Just like in the last episode, I am so sick of Adam and Reeve arguing back and forth constantly. It’s annoying and it’s mostly because Reeve is always popping off on Adam when all he’s trying to do is be a leader and come up with a plan. I really dislike Reeve’s character right now. Mira is very used to this; It’s amazing how Mira was able to deal with this kind of toxic dynamic back then lol. I would’ve just walked away from this much sooner than she would have.

3. The two of them start fighting on the platform, which is the worst place to fight right now. During the confrontation, Reeve says that in the past, he overheard Adam talking to Mira about how he wanted to kick him out of their team. He also mentions about Vanessa and how she’s been a good teammate and friend to him, unlike Adam but you can clearly see that Vanessa wants to confess something but isn’t brave enough to do it.

4. Just when I thought she was going to make her confession, she suddenly flies away from her spot, leaving the platform even more unbalanced. Kai then uses his fire jets to catch up to her and he asks her what’s going on. Meanwhile, Adam and Reeve are still arguing, with Mira in the centre of it. She makes the right call and tells them she’s going to leave them to solve their own problems. Even something like that is making Reeve blame Adam again and he charges right at him, which causes all three of them to fall off the platform. Nice going Reeve...

5. Vanessa and Kai sees this and they swoop down to try to rescue them. They save Mira first (thankfully) and Vanessa then tries to rescue the boys but she wasn’t quick enough. Why can’t Reeve levitate himself and Adam? They both fall into the ocean water and Reeve manages to make it out of the fall (which should’ve killed them technically speaking) unharmed but the same can’t be said about Adam as he’s unconscious from the impact and is floating lifelessly, with his head facing the water. Adam can never catch a break, huh?

6. Suddenly, a large lizard-like sea monster appears out of the depths and circles around the two boys. Just before Mira, Kai and Vanessa could rescue them, the sea lizard eats all three of them! What?! How are they gonna survive this? Why isn’t Reeve using any of his powers? Did he have a malfunction or something?

7. Reeve swims over to Adam to prevent him from drowning and moments later, we see a viking woman who goes by the name of Brynhilda sailing on a boat and she’s calling out to Reeve to swim quickly. Meanwhile, the sea lizard swims to an underwater cavern and spits out Mira, Kai and Vanessa. Why didn’t it eat them? Maybe Mira must’ve communicated with it in its mouth? LOL. Anyways, Mira finds out that the sea creature is actually saving them for its midnight snack and it goes to sleep right in front of them. How random!

8. Brynhilda picks Adam and Reeve out of the waters and brings them into her boat. She manages to bring Adam back into consciousness by breaking open a sardine fish right in front of his nose. Okay??....I thought she was gonna do some CPR instead. She tells him that Reeve had also saved him and they share a nice little moment; One without any arguments. Thank goodness.

9. She introduces them to her four brothers (another word for crew members or friends most likely), whom were all hiding for some reason. Reeve asks Brynhilda about the sea beast they encountered earlier and she tells them that it’s an ancient creature known as Tursas. According to her, Tursas guards the exit to the bay and every Viking warrior who tried to cross into her territory, had perished. She really wants to slaughter the beast herself but she’s afraid she might fail because it would mean leaving her men to fend for themselves.

10. Adam finally realizes that Mira, Kai and Vanessa aren’t with them and Reeve informs him what happened. Brynhilda says that Tursas only feasts on the full moon, which is tonight! And usually, she and her men would have their very own feast at the same time to honor those who perished. Hopefully Mira will think of something since both her powers work effectively in the ocean.

11. Speaking of Mira, she and Kai are trying their best to figure out a way to get out of the cavern but they’re not having much luck. They notice Vanessa has been strangely quiet and not being herself this whole time and they FINALLY confront her about it. But she’s not telling them anything and it’s SOOOO frustrating! I want to know what she did that was so bad to the point where she couldn’t even tell them.

12. Back on land, the vikings are preparing for their feast tonight by carrying a load of barrels of cured fish into their village. I’m glad that Reeve and Adam are putting their differences aside and are agreeing to work together to save their friends. They propose to the vikings that they will be the ones to slay Tursas and of course, they all laugh at them because of how tiny their frames are compared to their own. But they prove them wrong by fancifully demonstrating their powers in front of them. See! If Reeve can levitate a bunch of barrels with his telekinesis, why couldn’t he levitate himself and his friends off the platform just now? I’m just saying...

13. Their demo was highly impressive and I also really like this shot! It looks epic! Adam and Reeve fist-bump each other and hopefully their friendship can rekindle after this.

14. Adam, Reeve and even Brynhilda all head to her boat to set sail in hopes of encountering Tursas and defeating it once and for all. On the boat, Adam brings up the conversation he had with Mira about kicking Reeve out of the team and he reveals to Reeve that he didn’t hear how their conversation had ended. He actually said to Mira that he could never betray him like that because they’re friends. I personally don’t know if I believe that explanation but anything to keep the peace Adam lol.

15. We shift things over to the cavern and Kai is still frustrated with Vanessa for not telling them what her secret is. In the process, he accidentally wakes Tursas up and she startles them but goes back into the water. Mira then makes the decision jump into the water to follow Tursas. It’s only after Mira’s gone, Vanessa starts to open up more.

16. They talk but we’re not getting anywhere with Vanessa, at first. It’s only when Kai tells her that she’s a bad person, she finally confesses to him that they’re all stuck in ‘The Hollow’ because of her! Well, this doesn’t reveal much to me because I’ve already suspected it in the previous episode. But I just want to know what she did specifically; Like is she a glitch herself? Luckily, we will probably find out the full truth in episode 8.
