Okay, so to explain why this is absolutely hilarious: Victoria 3 is a Paradox Interactive grand strategy game vaguely similar to Crusader Kings but instead of medieval dynastic politics, the gameplay in Victoria is based on economic management. This is the third in the series for this franchise and just released recently.
And players are complaining because Capitalism can't compete with Communism.
Because it seems that under Capitalism, all the money goes to the Capitalists while the Workers don't get paid enough so have little buying power to stimulate the economy. Meanwhile in Communism, worker communes ensure that the workers are well-paid, giving them much more buying power which translates into a faster-growing economy and a much higher standard of living.
And rather than take the message, players are complaining that Communism is unrealistically overpowered.

The #1 reason I start wars in Victoria 3 is "look buddy, I have done exhausting diplomatic and political legwork to give your country unfettered trade access to my huge, technologically advanced economy that's desperate to pay you handsomely for raw materials, but still you refuse to develop your iron/rubber/heroin/whatever deposits to sell the stuff to me. I am sending a team of management consultants (roughly 200,000 of them) to help you with business development."

Getting into mappies because I like Stellaris and Crusader Kings 3 and my friend really likes this “Victoria 3”
Giving it a shot but nothing could of prepared me for the dump truck of information. Like, who the hell is a petit bourgeois? Why are there radicals at my door? What’s a Sweden? So many questions…

Victoria 3 just released a cosmetic DLC with a day/night cycle and the sun rises from the west instead of the east. This is fucking hilarious.

very annoyed that paradox caved to the vocal minority that was begging for hearts of iron military systems to be put in victoria 3

'someone drew yaoibait personifications of the abstract special interests you manage in the 19th century industrialization/colonialism simulator' isn't really what I expected to learn this morning, but it did absolutely make me smile.

Is it normal to spend like 15% of a v3 game expanding a single wheat field? Am I playing wrong or is super slow growth in some countries a way to encourage you to play as the big ones?

It is funny how the latest Vic3 update added job satisfaction, but no easy way to enclose the commons so most economies completely stagnate cause most people would rather be a content peasant just toiling their little plot of land rather than a miserable factory worker.
