Vladimir : Vladimir is one of the founding members of the Romanian coven, the enemy clan of the Volturi. His coven was once the most powerful in the world, but when the Volturi rose to power, they were defeated in a century-long struggle.

Stefan : Stefan is a founding member of the Romanian coven, He and Vladimir are the only two survivors from the coven's destruction.

The Romanian coven ruled for over 1000 years in the previous Romanian territory of Dacia. They are one of the oldest vampire covens.

Amun : Leader of the Egyptian coven. Born before 2500 BC. He abandoned his previous coven when the Volturi attacked it. Amun had a very strong survival instinct, and he was willing to bow to the Volturi if it kept him alive. However, Amun was always bitter at having to surrender his former lifestyle. He loved the worship, the towering desert monuments, and the excess. He knew he could not plot against the Volturi, because Aro would find out. But he hoped that, over time, he could gain the strength to oppose them.

Alistair : born around 1300 AD . Alistair is an English solitary, nomadic vampire and friends of a sort with Carlisle Cullen. He is gifted with a unique tracking ability that allows him to track animate beings at a greater distance than most vampires can. Because of the way he was changed into a vampire Alistair left civilization and avoided all contact with humans, except when he hunted, and mistrusted everyone and everything that had to do with authority figures with a sense of paranoia.

Ever since the rise of the Volturi Vladimir has silently been plotting their downfall despite his more blasé attitude, much to the annoyance of his brother in arms, Stefan. Though gift-less Vladimir makes up for it with his icy passion for vengeance and strategic prowess.

Not really.

The closest I get (and I know this is a nonsense answer) is Puella Magi Madoka Magica. The magical girls are demigods who have sold their souls and surrendered their humanity in exchange for a wish fulfilled and the power of the magical girl, and their demise is inevitable: sooner or later they succumb to a despair that destroys them.

Fantastic, 10/10, "This is just like Twilight" - me, "Vinelle, I think you forget what those books were about" - The Carnivorous Muffin.

Also I just read your question again and realized you were asking about what their voices sound like. I have a fancast for Twilight here, I hope that answers the question.

Does anyone out there have a compelling Twilight fancast for Marcus? I've been alternating in my head between a young Tom Hiddleston (Only Lovers Left Alive vibes)

and a young Dev Patel (Green Knight vibes, sans beard).

Both are older than book!Marcus, but I think of him as an old soul and I have trouble finding younger actors with the right gravitas.

Preview for Mucronella Bresadolae- Icicle Fungus. Twilight and the fungus from the last of us and resident evil 8 inspired fanfic.

Preface

Death is a natural thing in life. We all thought of it. Feared it. Mourned it. Welcomed it. It was never death itself that scared me, but the reaction to my death.

Here, now, staring into those dark, hungry eyes. All I could think was... how cold I was.

Chapter One

The Burning Sun of Phoenix

The sky was cloudless, as it always was in Phoenix. The giant burning star shining brightly above us, helping create life on earth and creating irritating sunburns for its human inhabitants.

The wind whipped through my hair, the sun blaring down on the dashboard covered in stickers. I rested my arm on the window, watching the cars fly by us and planes swoop down over us, landing on the runway. I pushed my sunglasses up, flopping my head to the side to look at my mom. She wore a white, floppy sunhat, and her dark glasses used to hide her streaky mascara.

“I’m gonna miss the sun,” I smiled, trying to break the ice that settled over us.

“I’m gonna miss you,” She said with a hiccup, glancing at me. “Are you sure you want this?”

I nodded, trying to sound sincere and cheerful, “Absolutely, mum. It would be great to see Ch- Dad again, and I can’t be afraid of cold or ice anymore. It’s unpractical.”

“Yes, you can. It’s okay to be scared sometimes. I’m scared of old furniture and the government and those weird alien inflatable toy you had when you were a kid,” She ranted, throwing her hand around, her hat bouncy as she spoke. I listened as she continued listing things that scared her and how those fears were practically acceptable to have. “Going to prison for accidentally committing tax aversion.”

“Mum? Are you done?” I asked with a giggle when she finished with her rant.

“Yes…for now,” she added, straightening her back. I laughed harder, turning my attention to the slowly approaching airport, looming over me like Dracula’s castle. My laughter came to a stop, my heart moving to my throat. “I’m sorry Pheeb’s couldn’t come with us to say goodbye.”

“It’s okay, mom. It’s not her fault she couldn’t get time off work. I really do want to go,” I added, hoping to convince not only her but myself. She pulled into a parking spot and removed her sunglasses, turning in her seat to look at me.

“I just wanted to make sure,” She said, fixing my hair. She sighed and smiled, opening the car door and climbed out. “Let’s rock and roll.”

Just finished PRM and I loved it! This isnt a question but in my head canon Marcus looks like a petrified and depressed Timothee Chalamet. I am curious if you have any head cannons for Marucs, Caius and Aro.

I must tell you, anon, I am not the author of Painting Red Madonnas. @theoriginalcarnivorousmuffin is. However, I'm sure she appreciates the praise.

As it is I have a masterpost of sorts for various Aro fancasts, while for Caius I think I'd go sexy older man with eyes of steel who'd have just a bit of fun with the part. Sean Connery, Daniel Craig, Samuel Jackson, Jeremy Irons.

For Marcus, I think honestly they should just find some male model and give the model no lines. He places his hand in Aro's instead.
