TERFs, assemble !!
•Two men calling themselves a “wlw relationship.”
•The blonde one realized he was trans after dating a TIM. Cough cough social contagion cough cough.
•This is not a win for the girls. (What is it with TIMs & calling women “girls”?)
•How can you claim to be nonbinary and a transwoman what the fuck.
They’re not even trying to make sense anymore because anyone who slightly questions them is transphobic. They just want to call themselves women & steal our language for shits & giggles.

I hate the argument the men make where they’re like “oh women want to be equal? Ok women try being soldier 😂 women try being oil worker 😂 women try fixing car 😂”
But it’s never
“Oh women want to be equal? Ok men try compassion. Men try empathy. Men try nurturing. Men try tolerance. Community. Connection.”
Like the only reasons these “male-dominated” fields are so respected are BECAUSE they’re male dominated. Not because they’re necessarily more” important.” That’s not to say that traditionally masculine jobs aren’t important. They are. But not any more or less important than traditionally feminine/female-dominated jobs. They’re supposed to be equal because there is supposed to be balance.
We need people who do the manual labor/tough guy/angry/boom pow/fixing jobs. And if that so happens to be mostly men, so be it. We need people who do the emotional/thoughtful/teaching/rational/caring/mending jobs. And if that so happens to be mostly women. So be it.
The point is that neither one is better or worse than the other. They both need each other. That’s their whole point. Men aren’t “naturally superior” to women, they’re just narcissists who believe that whatever they do is the most important thing.
Men don’t realize that in the abuse of women doesn’t put down women and raise men. It puts down everyone. Men have set up their own system that’s designed fail. They’re like children that are addicted to touching the stove.

We don’t talk enough about how “pick me girls” behave that way not only as a way to distance themselves from the feminity that is regularly ridiculed in the hopes of escaping misogyny, BUT ALSO, because they see the media’s portrayal of girls and, inevitably, cannot identify with what it means to be a girl since girls are shown as one dimensional, with barely any interests, inner-life, or personal struggles.

I’m probably late to the party but it’s never too late to bring attention to something or correct ppl. That being said: White ppl, specifically white women, Tupac’s Keep Ya Head Up is not for you. It is for Black women. You can enjoy the song but it is not about you. Period. Stop using it in your TikToks to seem quirky. It’s disrespectful to Tupac and it’s disrespectful to us aka Black women. But then again y’all have no problem with leaving us out of your movements anyway. 🤷🏾‍♀️

So the recent trend on tik tok I had seen was the whole putting girl Infront of a word and making it it's own little thing for girls. Like girl dinner which started off well and good talking about silly mismatched meals and the slowly spiraled back into what Tumblr was .
This trend, in my opinion, only works to harm women and infantilizes us. It makes us seem like we need things simplified like the videos "explaining (let's take the stock market as an example) for girls!" And it consists of explaining it in terms of bags and shoes. We don't need that. We've had that. Men have constantly done that for ages. Dumbing things down because they don't think we can understand as much as they can. Most recently the video of "girl hobbies" which consisted of shopping, buying treats, and doing skin care. Is this not exactly what we heard from misogynists ages ago? "Women don't have hobbies they only do their make up and shop" how have we come so far only to circle back for the sake of a joke.
None of these things are bad to do and I enjoy everything there but in the context of calling them "girl hobbies" they can have a harmful impact on how women are perceived. Even if it is just a silly little good and gaf, you have to understand what you are putting out on the internet and how it can be used. Sometimes a joke isn't worth it.
