Britta is the type of person who, no matter how sick she is, goes anywhere even if she has a very high fever. On the other hand, Jeff is the type of person who just has the slightest cold and uses it as an excuse for everything.

Now, imagine these two types of people being friends (or even dating). Britta is sick as hell but she still goes to school. Jeff doesn't have any classes with her for the first half of the day, so he only discovers this at lunchtime. So there she is, pale as hell, with giant circles under her eyes and surrounded by crushed and wet napkins. Normally, Jeff would use his lunch break to chat or study, but as soon as he sees Britta, he decides to use his time to take her home because "who tf is sick and goes to school, what's wrong with you???"

Britta refuses at first, but when she notices that Jeff is really worried, she agrees to go to her house. Jeff takes her in his car and drops her off at her house. As the day goes on, Jeff starts to get a cold too, so he's already planning to cancel all of his plans for the night, but then, Britta texts him and she asks him if he wants to have dinner at her house. And Jeff starts to say "Sooo... I'm also kinda sick" and Britta is like "Oh, yeah sorry! don't worry it's okay" but Jeff is like "Oh nono, I'm going to the supermarket and then I'm going to your house, i'll be there in 30".

Britta thinks that maybe it's not such a bad idea skipping school if she's sick, and Jeff thinks that maybe having a little cold shouldn't be an excuse for anything.

Ha! I can't imagine he and Niffty being separated either! I could have worded that better.

I meant if Alastor left the hotel, Niffty would go with him. They really are two peas in a pod. Alastor might let Husk stay at the hotel though. If he were domesticated that way.

They aaarrreee. I adore them together. But Niffty also loves being at the hotel so much.

I feel like if Alastor were to leave, Niffty would expect to go with him (albeit sadly because she loves it there), but Alastor would tell her to stay. And I think she'd have a hard time with that too.

We don't know the extent of Alastor and Niffty's relationship, and it's obvious that they can go long periods of time without seeing each other (like the 7 years Alastor was gone), but I think she'd understand that there's something different about it this time. I think she'd be much more aware of Alastor's absence in the hotel and she'd miss him a lot. It's not the same without him.

I know that starchaser and sunseeker come from the quidditch positions, like star(regulus) chaser(james) and sun(james) seeker (regulus ofc) but for the longest time I genuinely thought it was star (regulus) chaser (james, but in the sense of he's chasing the stars, he's chasing regulus) and sun (james) seeker (regulus, but in the sense of he's seeking out the sun, he's seeking out james), and I was in awe at how poetic they sounded to me.

Because James, who can't take his eyes off Regulus' light, the light near nobody recognizes but is just so plainly obvious to him, chasing after his prettiest star.

He's chasing after Regulus as if he's the star that gave him its name, a shimmering treasure which no matter the distance will forever make you glance but seldom ever look (James saw)

Because Regulus, who believes himself to belong only in the cold and the barren and the shadows, is helpless, much like a sunflower, to seek out the sun's warmth and its gentle hold; blindingly bright, unwaveringly fierce, yes, but so gentle just for him.

He's seeking James out as if he's made of the stuff that keeps the flowers in bloom and the days beautiful. The thing that forever brings you comfort and keeps your world in orbit, but can never truly be digestible; you can only handle it in small doses lest you get overwhelmed by the loudness (Regulus could never get enough)

And then it dawned on me that it's actually nowhere near as deep as that and I'm just overanalyzing things again as if they're profound poetry.

But ykw, I still prefer my interpretation of it.
