Is this when i mention a thing I've been doing about how early in the war the troops on both sides mist have been making so many Megop divorce war jokes? Like sure sure the jokes likely became way less frequent as the war became more brutal and mecha were being sparked that had no goddamn idea what their older counterparts were talking about.
But it definitely was a thing for a while, and it was the kinda stuff said in hushed chuckles behind the commanders' backs.
#tfp au#maccadam#tfp megop#oh soundwave heard all of it naturally but he wasn't about to punish them for it or comment on it#he simply added it to the blackmail folder and shook his helm#knockout and Breakdown still joke about it but they've got the smarts to do it out of Megatron's earshot#The vehicons likely don't know of it as apparently the Nemesis just. spawns them in somehow#so most of them are pretty young by Cybertronian standards#Bumblebee probably knows but solely because of how autobot high command adopted him and he's heard some things#Starscream knows and has made them jokes but Soundwave intimidated her into deciding not to mention this to megs#Ratchet was gonna loudly start making them once Oppy came back from the orion arc but then pharma showed up#and he knew Optimus could make the Ratchma divorce jokes right back. especially since those two had like an actual legal divorce lol#The kids naturally haven't heard these but convergent evolution style made their own versions of them#fowler followed a similar process of deduction and subjects his coworkers in the alien relations division to it on stressful days
