Saw The Midnight in concert for a second time. Went insane for the sax solos, danced my heart out, had a transcendent experience belting lyrics with @jayykesley and the rest of the room ("holy mother of THE MIDNIGHT" hits different with a crowd)... You know the drill. There's nothing like live music, especially not when it's next to your best friend.

And now, I crash.

Essenger is so cool. Didn't know he produced The Midnight's Horror Show (one of my favorite albums lol) till he released his new collab with them. After Dark is a fantastic album and is way better than the Mr.Kitty track of the same title (which is good cause Kitty is a POS)

I also love how he's super into Bionicle lore and you can kinda tell listening to some of his music that there's like a wee bit of Cryoshell influence in there, even before he collabed with them for As Above So Below

Very pleased with myself having pieced together a vintage (mostly early 1980s but the CD player is 90s I think ) hifi system using only the power of eBay, a bit of patience, and a tiny budget. The cabinet I inherited from my grandpa who I hope would think I'm doing it justice. He had a very cool 1960s Pioneer hifi system that apparently disappeared sometime during my childhood and no one can tell me what happened to it.

It was a different time✨

I will remember 2022 as the year I learned Hall & Oates actually is as good as my mom tried to tell me. I also leaned heavy into nostalgia and guilty pleasures because they made me smile.
