Ok, I guess I’d say his loyalty to his friends and his spunk and how even though he’s a tiny hobbit he becomes pretty famous in the Shire and leads the entire revolt against the Ruffians. And that he’s with Rohan and has a cute lil pony called Stybba and that he’s just an awesome guy and—

Ok the sad thing is, there’s not a lotta content on her, but people have actually written a fair amount of fanfics of her and Merry and in all of them, she’s sassy, sweet, and just overall perfect for him. (My personal favorite is one called The Star of Buckland on FF.net; sadly it was never finished, and I can’t find the author anywhere 😞)
