Of course I really love the Captain’s entire arc about coming to terms with his sexuality and being able to express that, but I think what honestly makes me the most emotional about his character is his relationship with Kitty. Because he’s a man who’s spent his whole life repressed, and uptight, and in a violent career- he’s brash, and rude, and doesn’t know how to have fun. And then here comes this girl who is the exact opposite of all of that, and she loves him! For some reason he can’t quite figure out, she loves him and he has a chance to be kind and warm and be there for another person and he is.

Kitty needed someone who would genuinely love and take care of her, and the Captain needed someone who would do the same for him. They’re just so lucky to have each other

So this art was actually drawn... an entire year ago. At the time, I just wanted to see Susie and Sammy kissing. And then I think like, a month or two later we got the RP log where THEY DID KISS and i have been sitting on it until now to share with that update.
