Welcome to my art masterpost for Earth Angel, a wonderful story co-written by @eyesofatragedy67 and @punk-is-notdead for the @spnangelbang!

I am really proud of the art I created for this fic, and was lucky to be supported by two wonderful authors. The banner illustrates the first scene of the fic, in which Castiel enters Dean's tattoo shop.

The next scene I wanted to work on is a diner scene between Cas and Bobby:

Yes, Cas is enjoying his burger! I was surprised at how fun it was to draw Bobby. I had a great time working on this piece.

The last piece I did was made to illustrate a scene at the very end of the story. At this point, Cas and Dean have grown (very) comfortable with each other and Dean offers a very special gift to his angel:

Working on this story has been a great experience. This bang was actually the first I signed up for, and I have been blessed with amazing authors and mods during the last few months!

Leviathan as Prototype angels. God's first attempt at creation, they were made to adore him and be ever worshipful, so they were made with an empty pit in them that could only be filled with his attention. They were made to be ever hungry for him, and for a time it was good. But then he grew bored of them, and turned his attenton elsewhere, and the pit in them grew angry and gnawing and they became desperate to fill it. So they fell on their father's other creations and ate and ate if only to get a taste of them. Finding they had become troublesome, God locked them away for the sake of his other creations, and finding himself now without dedicated worshippers, he began anew. So he made the angels, and he made them with an empty pit at their core that could only be filled with his attention, so they would be ever hungry for him. And this time, he neglected to give them mouths.

okay, dean's touch corrupts, but with what? an angel said it & it's because it deviated cas from his devine heartless focus, so I'd say it corrupts with LOVE

Having watched eleven and a half seasons of Supernatural, this is my greatest contribution to the community. A classification of angels personality types.

Listen I just think it would have been cool if angel blood was blue

Hear me out

+ Whenever Cas got all beaten up and bloody. it's dark blue on his face instead

(Dean had to tell himself that that's weird and that angels are weird and that it does NOT turn him on)

+ While Cas was human, the first time he accidentally cut himself shaving, and there was a smear of red on his face towel, he had a break down over it

+ If angels had gotten sneaky and a bit more overtly involved in hiding in plain sight among humans to Cause Problems, a way to check if someone was an angel or not would be a small cut - blue blood is of course very distinctive and impossible to disguise

+ Dean goes to have a beer one night after a hunt (and after Cas has just healed his broken ribs, bruises and concussion) (he got unlucky) and he accidentally cuts his finger on the bottle cap. he feels like an idiot and curses under his breath for wasting the healing he just got, and goes to suck the little wound. but instead he freezes and stares at the bead of blueish blood on the tip of his finger in stunned silence

(It wears off quickly and goes back to bright red, but what does it mean???)

My aunt thinks if they do a season 16 of spn Jack should turn Sam and Dean in to angels

Balthazar: So what have you been up to recently?

Castiel: Leading a revolution with Dean.

Balthazar: Good for you two! Me, I've joined the mob.

Castiel: *nods* Oh, how cool! That's awesome!

Balthazar: I know! Anyway, have you heard from the others? Gabriel?

Castiel: Happily living his exile in Vegas. Anna?

Balthazar: Wrongfully locked up in an asylum, which reminds me, we need to break her out later. Lucifer?

Castiel: Cult leader.

Balthazar: Yeah, that sounds about right.

i just think that whenever one angel had to kill another they should have been more visibly distraught about it. i wanted to see anna stab uriel and watch his body fall in horror at what she'd been forced to do and castiel dragging his injured vessel to his side to weep over him. i think castiel should have lashed out even more at sam and dean every time he had to kill one of his siblings for them. i think he should have cradled rachel and balthazar's bodies as they died and been marked forever with the scars of their wings for it, to make him killing raphael and the hundreds in heaven even scarier when he doesn't show any remorse for it. i think inias and castiel should have both screamed when meg killed hester, even though there was no other choice, even though it was her or cas. i think dean and sam should have noticed something was wrong when castiel killed samandriel because he wasn't overcome with grief about it immediately and the only tears he shed were made of blood. i think cas should have stabbed hael out of fear of what she might condemn him to and then sobbed while holding her, telling her he's sorry that she won't get to see the world she once helped build and leaving her body even more scarred and bloodstained. i could go on.
