So apparently this last chapter of Vodka Cranberry wasn't that well received... for everyone that sent an anon message I appreciate your passion, but not every chapter can have huge bethyl moments. I'm sorry everyone has collectively hated it and that it followed too closely with canon from the show. Fingers crossed that the next chapter will redeem me. Sorry for everyone that was expecting a better chapter.

Hey, honey! Just wanted to let you know that I love your new part of Autumn is healing. I adore the whole series and felt like you should know that. ❤️
Thank you. I appreciate that. I did not realize this part was going to go so poorly. Luckily, it's only one more part and I'll let it go and move on.

Can we talk about how shit the economy is right now and how part of that has to do with a bunch of idiots who thought investing their fortunes in a fake electro-currency was a revolutionary idea, and now that it’s played out they don’t want to lose their fortunes…..

I just remembered that up until 5th grade, all of the sports teams I was in weren't separated by gender. I played basketball and baseball with boys. And we did just fine.
It wasn't until 6th grade when they segregated it by gender. It didn't make sense to me. I was now in softball because of baseball, because "softball is for girls" and "baseball is for boys" (which confused me bc my dad was on an adult softball team).
Now, my brother's all-male team didn't win a single game. My all-girls team won every single one.
They presented the boys' team with this HUGE trophy, and if you wanted replicas of it, they were $30 each.
My team was presented with a very small trophy. Extras were $5.
That's when I decided gender-segregated sports were bullshit.

So I see folks pointing out that Louis' circle A tattoo is more likely an aesthetic choice than an announcement of a political commitment to anarchism, and saying basically that that maybe makes him a bit of a poser and I mean- I GUESS. But I don't like to look at things that way and I don't think it's useful. As I see it the subversive sexiness of the symbols of resistance have ALWAYS been gateways for people who are drawn to the struggle in vague ways and that's GOOD. Aligning yourself with those values is good no matter the reason, in my book, especially given the wretched options available out there, but also the journey doesn't necessarily stop there. Gatekeeping queerness victimizes people who are just trying things out and starting to discover that it may run deeper than just trying on a new look who should instead be welcomed and helped along their path, and I fail to see how gatekeeping political affiliations is any different (plus how counterproductive to actual movement building is that?)
ANYWAY. What I really want to say about Louis is that while I KNOW that Louis is probably not secretly a theory reading anti-state communalist anarchist, I think that actually Louis' optimism and idealism (and his unwavering commitment to allying himself with the working class and embracing those roots) are a perfect fit for the philosophy and always have been. I know that anarchism is mostly understood as being about throwing molotov cocktails and fighting the state (and the allure of its symbols are that they signify this, a terrific aesthetic for him to choose to sign on with in my book), but that's honestly largely cartoonish stereotyping that comes directly from anti-anarchist state propaganda. That resistance is necessary in this hellscape of oppression we live in and is super important, but in its heart anarchism is only about the state in that the state and capitalism currently stands in the way of its goals. The whole point of anarchism is that it's NOT about the state! It's about being able to imagine something better than a state, it's about how we live and about how we SHOULD live, it's about HOPE and picturing something utopian and something free of the ways capitalism pits us against one another! What could be more Louis than that?
"I need you and you need me and I love that" is as beautiful a way of talking about the cornerstone of anarchism that is mutual aid as any long winded essay I've read (even if what he meant was contextually different), and I think when he talks again and again about how special the space fans have made around him is he is expressing an intuitive understanding of the importance of autonomous zones, places and moments outside of the shitty life imposed on us by the system (also a huge part of anarchist thought). Maybe I'm just being an optimist but I think that Louis DOES understand that caring for people and wanting self-determination and freedom for all and allying himself with the working class involves a certain amount of resistance to and positioning yourself in opposition to the state. Thinking the symbols of smashing that state are cool isn't meaningless; it's a CHOICE. There are other cool symbols out there and I just happen to think that feeling a resonance with certain ones is something in and of itself, even if at this moment he does not choose to start a fight with the media about it all.

gonna literally throw virtual knives at the next person who says 34 & 16 need to step up in playoffs as if half the problem in previous years wasn’t management not surrounding them with complimentary players. like there is only so much two players can do. a team wins a cup, not individual players. like there’s a reason people you wouldn’t assume have a cup, have a cup, and that’s because they were part of a team that was built to support the name players.
i don’t need flashy deadline adds because a lot of the time it ruins team chemistry and things fall apart after a round. i just want a team that will go to war for each other, a team where people know what role they’re there to play and do it well, a team that has depth players they can call on when injury happens, because those are the kind of teams that win cups.
like yeah some of the greatest players have cups. but so do a bunch of guys you’ve probably never heard of. because it takes a whole team.

I think Sasha complicated feelings towards Marcy this ep was very interesting to see actually and ppl are once again missing all the hints of Sasha's true feelings towards her friendship with Marcy
First of all the ep started with Marcy showing her favorite movie to the girls and them (in her vision) ignoring her interests. It's totally natural for Marcy to be hurt and sad over this and hold a little grudge (even if subconsciously) over them and how they treated her
Sasha is changing and becoming a better person FOR SURE but we also have to remember that above all else Sasha is a child and human, she obviously has flaws and, while doing her best to control them, it doesn't just disappear so fast over years and years of having this behavior
Sasha is controlling, selfish, quick to anger and very hypocritical and even if she is making progress to make her qualities outshine more, her flaws are still something that she can't just let go completely. That's totally normal specially to a KID trying to change
But the thing is that Sasha even tho saying that she didn't cared about Marcy's movie, she still remember the plot that marcy told her perfectly!
Sasha even tho she said that she didn't know if she could save her friendship with Marcy, was worried about her and was the one that mentioned her THE WHOLE TIME. She was the one that brought the topic of her to even start all of this !
And look, I know it sounds really angering hearing Sasha of all people not wanting to forgive Marcy after spending the whole season talking about 2nd chances... SPECIALLY considering her own mistakes...
just because sasha made her own wrong doings this doesn't mean she isn't allowed to be hurt
BUT
And if she didn't care about Marcy why would she even mind and be SO bothered about the idea of their friendship not lasting anymore??
"Let's say you're right"
Sasha is very reluctant to accepting that she's wrong and that she committed mistakes and even with her redemption we know that she still has a hard time forgiving others (and herself)
Sasha truly cares about Marcy but considering her attitude in s2 with Anne's "betrayal", we should've know better and see this little stubborn part of her coming from a mile away.
But even with all her anger, all her resentment and all her sadness, Sasha can't help but worry about Marcy all the time!
Hell! Why would she even create this rebellion who's one of the goals is to rescue Marcy if she didn't CARED about her?!?! And this is her goal all the ep!!
.........
AND HERE COMES THE MARCY'S GRUDGE THAT I MENTIONED EARLIER!
The core knows how hurt Marcy was by her girls, SPECIALLY, Sasha's indifference to a lot of Marcy's ramblings and actions
And so does Sasha.
So that's why she's the only one truly hurt at this scene bc she KNOWS that this message was directly to her and how she treated Marcy (before AND during amphibia)
And THATS why their fight next EP is so perfect
Sasha trying her best to get Marcy back to show how much she meant to Sasha, how much she cared about her!! This has so much potential!
Look how Sasha has her guard down in this fight... Almost like she doesn't want to truly hurt Marcy... But also is going to make an effort to get her back.... Splendid!!!

Maybe it's cause I'm aro but I am so incredibly happy that Gamora didn't end up with Peter in gotgv3. She's a different person than we ever saw before and I know that people looking at you when they expect you to be someone else is incredibly difficult to deal with. She's able to appreciate the guardians and the family that they could offer (and most definitely have offered) her but also the family she's found with the ravagers.
That's so much more growth than I expected her to have and it makes me smile (and cry).

With all the relevant criticisms irt Larian's treatment of Wyll, I still won't leave people off the hook for completely ignoring him, though. He is a very interesting character, with a fascinating story. 'He's too good' so are Halsin and Karlach, and that doesn't seem to stop anyone from engaging with them. Halsin as a non-origin character has way less content than Wyll, and it's not as if his personality particularly evolves or if he has a very nuanced arc. Karlach may have more content than Wyll but has a very flat arc, with no development, so the most interesting outcome for her narratively is dying, but people hate engaging with that, because they're allergic to experiencing any emotions that aren't puppies and doggies positive. So, people aren't even getting the most out of her story, and she's still a fan favorite. Much in the way I know I'm not getting the most out of Wyll's story and he's still my favorite.
You have no excuses, saying 'he has less content' is no excuse because you love characters with equal amounts of content that are just as 'good' with no problem.
