#Royal Status in Hindi
Text
meet Moxim, Xa'eks/Xa'veed's Ex-Lover from their home planet Nion 8𓆩ꨄ︎𓆪
Moxim is part of the closest thing to royalty on Nion 8. Like her other Nion 8 counterparts, Moxim has dark markings engraved onto her face, torso, arms, and legs, similar to computer code. She has faint gills on the sides of her neck. She's 6'4, with black hair, brown skin, and blood orange freckles decorating her cheeks. She grew up in the wealthiest district on the planet, as her parents were members of the most respected (and feared) government.
However, "royal" families are not spared from participation in Nion 8's military. Working in the highly ranked intelligence section of the Nion 8 militia, Moxim speaks twenty different languages. 8 of them are human languages (English, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish, Hindi, Arabic, French, Russian, and Bengali) while the rest are native to other planets.
Intelligent, ambitious, and clever, Moxim marches to the beat of her own drum. Her outspoken attitude gets her in trouble more often than not. What drew X to her is her wit and her fire; she stands up for what she believes in, even if she faces the consequences for it. She called X out on their complacence and it took years of courting to break down Moxim's walls. Brave in the face of danger and always chasing the next adventure, Moxim was the pariah of their home planet despite her royal status. X thinks she's long-dead as a result, but is she? Is Moxim the one that got away, or was losing her for the best? I guess we'll find out...
Now...onto the Moxim brainrot!

{ wawwa nicha , 32 , cis woman , she/her } we are so glad to see you safe, queen aranya chakri of thailand ! it’s dangerous out in the world these days , but i hear that you are eloquent and altruistic enough to handle it. just don’t let your melancholy bring you down. stay on your guard , because with your secret being at risk for exposure , you wouldn’t want everyone to find out you once considered leaving your husband and now you're questioning your choice to stay.
Tumblr media
basic information.
full name: aranya chakri. nickname: anya. name meaning: wild forest. age: thirty-two. date of birth: october 10th. astrological sign: libra. gender & pronouns: cis woman , she / her. orientation: heteroromantic , heterosexual. spoken languages: thai , english , french , mandarin , japanese , conversational hindi. title: queen of thailand. martial status: married to the ruler of thailand. loyalty: thailand and it's people , the chakris.
personality.
positive: eloquent ,  altruistic ,  graceful ,  jovial , charismatic. negative: melancholic ,  prim ,  vengeful , conflicted , reticent. moral alignment: neutral good. temperament: sanguine. mbti: esfj - the consul.
history.
born into a family of great wealth, aranya grew up knowing that she would want for little and that one day she would wed someone of equal or greater than she. she was the second born but eldest daughter, and while her brother would one day lead their family, she would provide them with a valuable alliance. aranya was taught how to be a lady since she was young. her music lessons, which included singing and learning how to play the krachappi, were her favorite, but she also enjoyed her dance lessons.
aranya was rarely seen without a smile on her face. she rarely had an unkind for anyone she crossed paths with unless they said something unkind to her or her family first. when her family hosted parties, she would be the last one to leave the dance floor and never said no to an invitation to show off her singing or play the krachappi.
she might have not been born with any royal titles, but the people of thailand adored her. the jewel of thailand, they called her. it was certainly aided by the kindness aranya showed the people, often stepping outside of her family home to converse with those who lived in her family's domain and extending a helping hand when she could. seeing how beloved she was only made her parents set their sights higher when it came to selecting her spouse, especially when they realized the chakris showed interest in arranging a betrothal.
aranya was all smiles on her wedding day. she might've known little of her husband to be but idealism colored her outlook. with time and as they grew to know each other, they would find happiness, even love, with each other; she believed it entirely.
the reality was a stark and crushing difference. her love for her country was immense but aranya hadn't wanted to wed thailand. she'd dreamed of a husband she could stand proudly beside, but hers barely spoke to her. the more closed off he was, the more she shut herself away. her smiles gradually began fading, hurt quieted the fondness she felt, and soon aranya ceased all efforts at trying to get through to her husband. she turned all her attention to the country and its people, but it wasn't enough for a woman who'd dreamed of love. gradually, the prospect of leaving her husband took root in her mind. the title of queen meant little to her, especially when it was costing her the chance at happiness. worried that an annulment wouldn't be granted if requested, she made her plans in the shadows to leave and seek out refuge elsewhere until the marriage was ended. and then aranya learned that she was pregnant.
hope blossomed once more. maybe a child would bring her husband and her together at last. even if it didn't, she couldn't bring herself to deprive her child of their father or thailand of its heir - her love for her country ran too deep. so she stayed. aranya was a wonderful, natural mother. her daughter and her son were her entire world. there was a noticeable shift in the queen's mood once her daughter was born; she smiled more, resumed playing the krachappi more often, and doted upon her children. while other royals might've entrusted a large portion of their child's care to a governess, aranya refused, only keeping on on staff in case she needed help. when her children were alive, aranya didn't once regret her decision to stay married. had she left, she might've missed out on motherhood.
and then her children were taken from her. a mother's duty was to protect her children, and aranya had failed. their loss utterly devastated her. she wouldn't leave her room for days, refusing all food, and her sobs echoed through the palace. being left to mourn alone, her husband nowhere to be found, only deepened the wound. grief eventually combined with vengeance, growing stronger when thailand wasn't invited to the mughal empire despite, in her opinion, suffering the gravest loss.
she arrived determined to find their killer no matter the cost. but a second motive lingered in the back of her mind: with no reason to stay in her marriage and her husband more distant than ever, aranya had begun debating once again if she should leave. the number of nations present present many potential avenues but she still found herself hesitating. not only must thailand maintain their strong image in order to achieve vengeance but despite everything that had transpired, anya still held a fondness for her husband. but maybe it was time to let that go . . .
headcanons.
music is her safe haven. in thailand, she's renowned for her skills on the krachappi and her dancing. the unhappiness in her marriage did decrease how frequently she played in public, but she still played in the privacy of her quarters and when she visited with the thai people. since the murders of her children, however, she has refused to touch the instrument despite bringing it with her to the mughal empire.
normally a very social person who embraces any chance to meet new people. it doesn't always come across at first since her normal demeanor is prim and proper but once initial introductions are made, aranya's joyful personality emerges. she delights in inviting new friends to join her for tea and walks in the garden in order to get to know them better. or at least, she did. the anya that arrives at lal qila is a very visible shade of her former self but for certain people her true self shines through her grief.
she is never seen out in public unless her appearance is polished and not a hair is out of place. a little vain, yes, but she sees no shame in it.
public perception is crucial to her. the last thing she wants is for people to realize the true state of her marriage, knowing it would put thailand at risk, so she is constantly playing the role of a good wife in public. no one can know that despite their years of marriage, her husband remains a stranger and that they live mostly apart.
the people's queen through and through. there was a reason the people of thailand rejoiced when her betrothal was announced. whenever she goes out in public, there is always a crowd eager to greet and speak with her.
she isn't exactly a realist by nature but by circumstance. she often misses how idealistic she once was and while a small spark of that still burns, she fears the world will soon finishing snuffing it out.
her daughter had been given a thai cat for her third birthday. after her death, aranya began caring for the cat and brings it with her everywhere.
a small part of her does blame herself for her children's deaths. she feels that if she would've left her husband at any point in the past three years that they wouldn't have been killed. also partially blames her husband for not protecting them better.
deep down, she knows this quest for vengeance won't fill the gapping hole in her heart, but it truly feels like all she has left, the only thing that keeps her waking up each morning in the wake of losing her children.

she's lived a thousand different lives , full of drama and intrigue — though the reality is , perhaps , more grounded . the fourth of twelve children , isra quickly learned the importance of knowing how to take care of her younger siblings and how to fend for herself . she took on odd jobs to support her family , then turned to stealing when money from those jobs couldn't provide enough to put food on the table .
one day , she stole from the wrong ( right ? ) person : the previous master of spies for the egyptian royal family . when she was caught , isra was given a choice — punishment , or recruitment . she knew only one included the possibility of getting money back to her family . thus , her training as a field agent began . a time in her life that proved fruitful , gaining her numerous new skills . and a lifelong friend .
for her latest assignment with the ethiopian royal family , isra's cover was simple : a traveling apothecary , looking to help the people wherever she could , made her way into the ethiopian kingdom . the beloved dowager queen was her in , befriending the elder woman well before her untimely death in order to infiltrate the impregnable palace . making herself a fixture in first the dowager queen's circle , then among the rest of the royal family's .
HEADCANONS .
during her training , isra did learn combat , but there was a definite focus on poisons to account for her being of such small stature . combined with her parents' work as apothecaries themselves , posing as one is , in a way , a return to form .
hasn't seen her family in years , but keeps tabs on her parents and remaining siblings , sending them money when she can .
the sort of person who seems very friendly , but one can walk away from a conversation and realize they know nothing about her .
really enjoys art , and is something of an artist ! however , most of her creative endeavors have to do with her cover ( which really just means they all have to do with her work ) .
WANTED CONNECTIONS .
HER PROTÉGÉ ( ALSO ON THE MAIN ! ) : the person who made isra reconsider her career path . 21 to 25 .
CONTACTS : there was a point when isra aspired to be the next egyptian master of spies , and in doing so has acquired a network of contacts the world over , experts in both their fields and discretion .
CLIENTS : posing as an apothecary at her current post , isra is able to provide remedy for a number of ailments . surely she must have regular clients seeking cures for their problems , medical or otherwise .
CURRENT & PREVIOUS DALLIANCES : isra ultimately has little interest in finding a partner , or partners , not finding it incompatible with her current lifestyle . but she still has needs to be fulfilled .

The Hindi Curse Words/Insults of Far Cry 4
I’m learning Hindi and wanted to share some of the vulgarities that Pagan Min’s forces hurl at you, because while the dev team put gibberish on most of the signs (some literally are things like “lmbhvdmbhv”) or transliterated English advertisements like ‘free onions with the purchase of two hamburgers,’ the team pretty clearly made an effort to ask people for insults and abusive language.
So this is what the guards are yelling at you! (Native speakers please correct me if I’ve misunderstood something. 🙏) It’s non-exhaustive because I haven’t finished the game yet, and sometimes the guards combine these terms or use them to say things like ‘hey what kind of fuckery just happened bro?’
--
Behenchod - Sister fucker. The word “mother fucker” exists too but I haven’t heard it (yet?) in the game.
Sala - Generic term of abuse that literally means “brother in law.” The logic is that you’re fucking the sister of the guy you’re insulting, but people just use it as an insult without literally meaning that.
Chutiya - Used like asshole/idiot/douchebag/fucker, can describe both people, their actions, and situations. It’s extremely versatile and can be used from “lol dumbass (affectionate)” to asking what fuckery/nonsense is afoot to genuinely calling someone a stupid asshole in anger. The insult comes comes from a word for vagina/pussy.
Haramkhor - Used to insult someone as a bad person and a scoundrel, implying that they earn their keep/get things through bad/dishonest (haram) means and leech off others.
Kutte kaminey - “Dog” + an insult used to debase someone and call them a mean/vile low-life. Comes from a status/caste-based insult.
Bhosdi ke bacche - Son of a (whore’s) cunt. People shorten this to “bhosdi ke” a lot.
Bhadve - From a caste-based insult, literally means ‘pimp.’ I looked into the origin of this one and it seems to come from Bhand, a caste/social group of hereditary actors, storytellers, jesters, and musicians. Historically they performed both at the local level and in the royal courts of northern and parts of western India. Musical and theater performance was stigmatized as a socially low-status activity (even as they had wealthy, high-status people patronize them), but as the British Empire grew and evolved and things further changed after Independence, Bhands lost a lot of their major, rich employers, so many had to find new jobs or willingly went into other kinds of work escape social stigma. This insult derides them as having taken up prostitution/pimping.

{ simone ashley , 28 , cis woman , she/her } we are so glad to see you safe, princess parvati sharma of the mughal empire ! it’s dangerous out in the world these days , but i hear that you are kindhearted and logical enough to handle it. just don’t let your timidness bring you down. stay on your guard , because with your secret being at risk for exposure , you wouldn’t want everyone to find out you were relieved when your first spouse passed away.
Tumblr media
basic information.
full name: parvati sharma. nickname: parv. name meaning: daughter of the mountains. age: twenty-eight. date of birth: june 6th. astrological sign: taurus. gender & pronouns: cis woman , she / her. orientation: biromantic , bisexual - preference for women. spoken languages: hindi , arabic , farsi , english , french , spanish , italian , mandarin , learning japanese. title: princess of the mughal empire. martial status: widowed , unbetrothed. loyalty: the mughal empire.
personality.
positive: kindhearted ,  logical ,  dependable ,  prudent , conciliatory. negative: timid ,  passive ,  self-sacrificing , perfectionist , phlegmatic. moral alignment: lawful good. temperament: phlegmatic. mbti: istj - the logistician.
history.
forever a quiet child, her parents would often boast that their third child rarely cried or caused a fuss, and growing up everyone knew that the best place to find her would be in the royal library, where she would normally be sitting with her nose in a book and many more surrounding her. parvati often drifted to the background while her siblings, both older and younger, took the spotlight but she had no qualms with it, preferring playing a secondary role to any adventures her siblings embarked upon than leading one of her own. however, she was constantly there to offer advice or reassuring words if any member of her family ever needed it.
parvati dedicated most of her years to her studies. she immensely enjoyed learning about whatever topic she could get her hands on, often spending hours upon hours in the library, even falling asleep there on occasion. the only lessons that pulled her away from her books were her courtesy lessons. a perfect lady, so proper and demure, her governess would say.
leaving home never interested her nor did aspirations of wedding someone who'd one day inherit a throne, despite a few proposals offered over the years. no, she was content remaining in the familiar halls of her home, acting as an advisor to her eldest sister, being a voice of logical reason in a room sometimes clouded with conflicting motives, ensuring that her sister's reign was secure and strong.
love did bless her in the form of a first love who stole the princess' heart. everyone at court would whisper that a proposal was imminent, but then the months stretched on. even parvati wondered about the noble's intentions and then suddenly there was another contender for her hand, one who made his intentions clear the moment they met. within the year the two were betrothed; parvati's happiness was apparent to all, and india celebrated the union as if months ago they hadn't been rooting for another.
yet not all the glittered was gold; a truth parvati discovered once the initial wedding bliss faded. her spouse's demeanor began changing; he began requesting that she speak with the empress about matters and political decisions that would benefit his family and their interests, believing that the empress would be swayed if parvati advocated for the ideas. she refused each time. the more she did, the colder he became - but only in private. in public, he played the role of a doting husband utterly in love with his wife. the realization that she'd been used from the start hit her hard, but parvati didn't say a word about the reality of her marriage to anyone. when asked, she too would play the role of an infatuated wife. no one could know the truth. she would not burden her family with what had happened, especially not rashmi.
when her husband was wounded during a hunt and eventually passed, parvati, despite publicly grieving, felt only relief. she was free at last. she could return home to lal qila and be surrounded by her family again. she could, hopefully, find happiness again. however, since returning home parvati couldn't help but feel like something was amiss, especially as her advice, which was normally welcomed, seemed to fall upon deaf ears more and more often.
headcanons.
the biggest bookworm. she's constantly looking for new books to bring to the royal library despite there still being hundreds already on the shelves that she hasn't read yet. finding her without a book is a rarity. even sometimes at gatherings she's hide a book in the corner of the room or out on a balcony so she can read a little when she needs breaks from socializing.
she does enjoy tinkering with possible new ideas and inventions. has played an active role in assisting with new advancements in the mughal empire be it as an advisor or leading a few small initiatives herself.
there is nothing more important to parvati than her family. even when she disagrees with them she does her best to support their decisions - while also planning for any possible consequences.
she has no desire to hold any power herself but does desire to help the empire in whatever way she can, which, along with her extremely logical mind, makes her an excellent advisor. she strives to look objectively at situations, especially when she's counseling her eldest sister, who parvati only wants to see succeed.
after what happened in her first marriage and realizing that her husband only courted her because he wanted to use her, parvati believes that no one will ever want to marry her for love but rather only want her wealth and title. it has made her very wary about any prospective betrothals or people trying to endear themselves to her in general.
that being said, she does genuinely want to find real love. she simply doesn't believe it's likely to happen given the reality of the world.
she really hates conflict of any sort, but especially conflict amongst her family members. despite being the middle child, parvati will often intervene in any squabbles between her siblings in hopes of helping resolve them.
she does have a pet elephant who she raised since it was a baby after its mother passed. she also has a female cat as a pet.
