fake dating pro hero dynamight
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: katsuki bakugou / dynamight x fem!reader
summary: katsuki's management wants him to date a fan to help his image and you're the lucky fan who gets to play his girlfriend!
Tumblr media
dynamight had been the number two for years, always a little behind deku in terms of victories and popularity
he just seemed so unapproachable compared to deku, who was always taking pictures with his fans after the battle and chatting with them
in an attempt to change bakugou's image, his management came up with something
pro hero dynamight was supposed to date one of his fans, to show them that he's just like everyone else and that even his fans have a chance with the number two hero
and you just so happened to be the fan that was chosen to play the number two hero's girlfriend
you had been a big fan of katsuki for a while now, so when you got the chance to meet him in person, you of course agreed to it
but when you arrived at his agency, his manager and lawyer were there as well and what you thought would be a meet and greet with fans quickly ended with you signing a contract to play his girlfriend
just a few days later, the two of you were playing a couple in public for the first time
katsuki had been fighting a villain, while you were standing in a group of other bystanders, cheering for him
and after he had won, your boyfriend hurried to check up on you
once he knew you were safe, he pulled you into his arms and kissed you passionately – to the surprise of everyone around!
rumors started to spread the next few days and his name was on the front of every newspaper and he was the topic in every late night show
around a week later, the two of you were finally showing yourself in public again, holding hands and walking through the city, with everyone's eyes on you
and by the end of that week, katsuki had his first appearance on television, where he finally told the world about his relationship with you
of course, it was all just a big lie, but you couldn't deny that your heart was beating faster when you heard him talk about you on tv
his eyes lit up and he was smiling. he was practically bragging about you to anyone who would listen
you couldn't help but wish what he was saying was real. that this wasn't just an act but that he had actually caught feelings for you
just like you had caught feelings for him...

Summary: You're an undercover journalist tasked with unraveling secrets about the enigmatic Pro Hero Dynamight. As you delve deeper into your mission, you find yourself falling for him against all odds. However, complications arise when at the end of the day, you have a job to complete. Tensions escalate as mutual secrets are threatened to be exposed, leading to a shocking turn of events that leaves your fate uncertain between love or heartbreak.

Chapter One: Heroes Times/Heroes Nature
Everything around you sounded like an echo as you were lost in your overworked thoughts, blocking out your boss's instructions to the point that all you picked up on were, "Due tomorrow," and, "No whining this time." You must have acknowledged him somehow since soon his blurry figure glided to yell at the cubicle occupant next to yours, a new young and aspiring journalist who was soon to quit due to the company’s heavy expectations.
The Hero Times was a frequently busy building as the newspaper company rose to fame in Japan, covering almost everything and anything hero-related. Its interior was a bustling hive of activity, with reporters typing furiously at their desks, phones ringing incessantly, and the constant hum of conversation. Even though much of the information was gathered illegally through employees such as yourself, no one seemed to care to file any lawsuits just yet, and it was only due to your boss's cleverness. Your boss, Hinata, is a fairly young man who is handling the ownership of such a large company as if it were as easy as brushing your teeth and is someone who found the loophole to heroes even though he was quirkless - as long as what we post isn’t harming society's views on heroes, we can do as we please... even if it’s illegally obtained information. However, there was more behind Hinata’s facade of a "young, smart, harmless businessman"; he was a schemer and a liar.
What the public didn’t know was that Hinata owned another, much more infamous newspaper company known as Heroes Nature. It was a publication that thrived on sensationalism and scandal. While The Hero Times shines a light on heroes in their best light, Heroes Nature revels in the darker, more salacious side of heroism. Ever wondered what Pro Hero Chargebolt is like in bed? Heroes Nature can let you know. Many times the location of Heroes Nature’s office was to be discovered, only to fall short as there were no leads, unaware that on floor 62 of The Hero Times’s office building was where the writers of Heroes Nature sat, including you as well, one of the many overworked undercover journalists for the company.
Due to the great pay, however, there wasn’t much to complain about other than the lack of a romantic life caused by your random shifts. Your most recent fling had completely cut you off after sending you a text message claiming, “There’s no way you work that late so suddenly, I can’t help but think you’re seeing other men.” Although it didn’t bother you too much, as the thrill of being “undercover,” as your boss calls it, is much more appealing than being boned by a whiny man-child. Before being hired, you had to sign a contract stating that you would never tell another what your career is due to the company’s secrecy, and by complying to do so, you have complete legal protection if the company were to face any lawsuits. Meaning if you were to be caught by a hero, you get a stack of cash to settle with until you find another job and get away scot-free, just as long as you’d followed the contract rules and not exposed yourself purposely. Hinata was a very kind and trustworthy man, much in contrast to his secret scheming. Overall, it was a pretty easy and exciting job that you happily secured fresh out of high school with your great skills in the field. You had attended a Hero Academy in the States to become a support hero since your quirk, Shadow Veil, allowed you to manipulate shadows in ways that advanced your stealth and investigation skills. However, after graduating with your hero license, you discovered your passion for journalism grew much deeper, and after being offered a job overseas by Hinata, you happily agreed and moved away to Japan at only nineteen years old.
A stack of papers was slammed onto your desk as you snapped your now-cleared vision up to your boss, sympathetically looking your tired form over. “This is all the information you’ll need to start with this mission, but get some rest first.” Hinata playfully nudged your shoulder, “I want my journalist awake and comprehending.” You only nodded up at your boss before starting to pack up your work bag, taking notice of the setting sun through the office windows. The golden rays of the setting sun streamed through the glass, casting warm hues across the bustling newsroom. Hinata only remained and sighed before continuing: “The first set of info is due tomorrow night,” he drummed his fingers on your desk before walking backward, “Heroes Nature wants to dig deep this time around.” You contently hummed and smiled as he walked towards his office, feeling excitement run through your tired veins at the idea of working with another Pro Hero. Just one glance down at the stack of paperwork was enough to flatline that excitement, though. Picking the thin stack up and placing them into your work bag, you set off towards your apartment located in downtown Musutafu, just above a small bakery.
It was cute and not too large, although not too small, and had everything you needed; the bakery being a huge bonus since the kind owner allowed you a discount on all the treats. As you unlocked and walked through the glass door which hung a “Sorry, we are now closed!” sign, a dainty bell jingled and abruptly a head popped up from behind the now-empty glass display case. It was a black-haired woman in their young twenties just like you, sporting a light blue dress with a white apron draped atop. “Welcome home! I was just cleaning up to head home as well.” She sighed and wiped the sweat from her forehead with an arm holding a cleaning rag. As you moved to a nearby table to sit down your bag she had already started furiously wiping the countertop again, slightly biting her lip and unaware of how you were walking up to her rather than going up the stairs to your apartment.
“Go on home, Natsumi,” You softly spoke as you grabbed the rag from the shocked girl, then continued your offer with a smile. “I can finish up here.” Natsumi looked up and down your tired figure, only to furrow her eyebrows and knowingly place a hand on your shoulder. However, before she could decline your offer, you dismissed her with a wave and lightly nudged her towards the exit. “I’ve seen how hectic it gets in here, it must be hard, especially as an owner!” Natsumi let out an exasperated noise and shot both hands in the air, shaking them around at your response, turning around to face you once she had reached the door only to see you’d already had the bakery squeaky clean.
“What? How did you…” Her pointer finger reached out as she scanned the room before she slumped and exited the door, mumbling about not wanting to question anymore in her exhausted state. The two of you exchanged a good night, and then you followed the nightly routine of locking every door, turning off every light, and going up the stairs to your apartment. Although you were exhausted from the long day of writing at work, it was still much too early for you to be going to bed, which led your workaholic self to dig into what mission you’ve been assigned recently and with what hero. Flipping open the stack of paper at your bedroom desk, you skipped through the basic information that was stated on every packet you’d been given before a mission before finally reaching the biography page.
Focus of Interest: Katsuki Bakugou, Dynamight
You felt a shock in your brain, and it traveled to your spine and trailed to your toes as your body paled at the name printed onto the paper in front of you. Quietly you skimmed through the basic information you’d already learned about the hero due to your experience of working with heroes for so long until your eyes landed on the prize:
Work Prompt: The Truth Behind Dynamight's Heroic Deeds: Are They Genuine or Self-Serving?
Scoffing, you slid the papers away from you slightly and laid your arms onto your desk chair’s armrests. You couldn’t help but feel baffled at the request since no idea as to how you could go about the prompt surfaced in your head. There were many negatives to covering something like this: One, almost every newspaper in Japan has published an article on the topic of Dynamight’s “villainous” behavior, it was simply over-used. Two, there had been no record of the hero ever giving in to any interviewer in the past five years of his career, and although that’s where undercover journalists like you come into play, the company has still had many failed attempts at getting under the fiery number two hero’s guard. Three, although the man is known to be brash and very aggressive, Dynamight is known to be scarily clever and could no doubt sniff out an undercover journalist with no hesitation. Even with an extremely skilled worker such as yourself, there was still a slight chance he could figure you out, and given his personality, would quickly arrest you. And finally, four, you were scared shitless. For whatever reason on God’s green Earth, you had an intense fear of ever having to interact with the hero. Was it attraction? Was it intimidation? You couldn’t exactly pinpoint it, but you’d constantly attempted to get out of being assigned Dynamight; it was only after every other undercover journalist failed that Hinata decided you’d have to get over it and try as well.
Hinata was an extremely persistent man, and you figured that he’d rather die than never get an accurate story on Dynamight. It was a frequent topic spoken of by the media - how no newspaper company hasn’t ever published accurate coverage of the Pro Hero. Hinata was close to achieving the success of being the first to do so in an article published by The Hero Times a year back but only received the company’s first backlash due to many inaccurate assumptions made, and since then you’d noticed the huge disdain your boss had formed towards Dynamight. It was almost scary how Hinata’s “perfect” personality cracked whenever the hero was brought up, and how every employee pretended as though they couldn’t hear the rage-filled screams coming from his closed office whenever he heard of anything positive regarding Dynamight. This meant when Hinata came up to you this morning with a story that Heroes Nature could publish which could finally diminish Dynamight’s reputation, you almost feared what would've happened had you said no in your exhausted state this morning and seen the crack in his friendly smile. He was still your boss and held much power, although you knew the day would come when you’d have to face your fears and talk to the intimidating hero for the sake of your job.
You groaned and leaned back in your desk chair with an arm covering your eyes as a headache slowly formed from the overthinking you’ve been doing since being assigned this task. You let your arm go limp before lazily reaching an open hand out in the direction of the distant TV remote, a shadow from the corner of your dim room sneaking around until it picked up the remote and brought it to your grasp so you could flip onto the news channel. A shaken-up news reporter took up the screen, a disheveled scene behind her, presumably somewhere in Musutafu due to the recognizable buildings that were now damaged. “I’m here right off the corner of Downtown Musutafu, where an extremely powerful villain has taken hostage many innocent civilians!” The reporter yelled into the mic, glancing around in fear before the camera zoomed into the fight between a muscular man with black hair and many tattoos and a certain blonde-haired hero. Explosions were being thrown left and right, but you took notice of the huge gash in his abdomen that was most likely life-threatening, but he seemed to pay no mind and only care about pummeling the villain and getting to the heroes. You watched with narrowed eyes as he easily apprehended the villain by knocking him out, most likely from exhaustion, and quietly helped the crying civilians which were mainly children. Dynamight had a smirk on his face rather than a smile, but it still seemed to comfort the terrified victims who could’ve faced death either way. As the camera continued to show the hero refusing to get personal medical help and instead helping out injured civilians, the reporter spoke on. “It seems another day has been saved by Dynamight, his fifth success this week! The Number Two Hero has risen to the public’s liking, and I’m sure there will be more to come!” As the reporter continued to ramble about information on the villain that was defeated, you kept a keen eye on the hero you’d soon be investigating. You bit your nails due to the nerves of the idea but kept the competitive attitude that drove you through your previous hero training; if anyone’s gonna get under Dynamight’s skin, it’s gotta be you.
It was just then that Dynamight locked his fierce gaze onto the camera, his red eyes burning your skin as much as his quirk could. It was as though he’d seen you.

I've honestly only just realized...
That without Izuku, there would have been no Mha at all.
Let me explain: I imagined what the universe would have been like without Izuku's presence. Whether he committed suicide or simply changed profession.
Well, you know what? They would have been in deep shit!
To start things off, we have the SCA attack. Who allowed Mineta and Tsuyu to escape thanks to their quirks? While they were trapped on a boat surrounded by water, with villains at their heels? And who literally saved All Might? I'll leave you to stir it all up, and think of the disaster that could have been even greater if he hadn't been there.
Several injured students would have been the last straw for U.A.! At the beginning of the year, no less.
Let's take the sports festival a step further. I'll keep it simple. If Izuku hadn't been there, Shoto would NEVER have accepted his left side. So he's going to rot to the core because of his rage. And who went to see Endeavor after that to set him straight?
And then, of course, there's the internship part. Iida decides to take revenge on Stain for what he did to his brother.
In the anime, we have deku who arrives in time to save him. But here, no one will be there to help him, and above all, Shoto won't be coming as backup, as he had joined the position sent by the green man.
No Izuku, no location, no location, no rescue.
So Iida must either be dead, or so injured that he can't continue his heroic course, so bye-bye!
Then it's off to training camp. To cut a long story short, Kota would never have accepted the heroes, and there was nothing he could have done since Muscular would have already killed him.
Then it's Eri's rescue. Since Mirio would have inherited the One for All, things wouldn't have turned out the same way at all. So I can't really put an opinion on it, since I'm only basing my opinion on my memory.
But anyway, you get the point.
Izuku midoriya brought back a lot of precious things to his entourage.
He saved and protected many things that he himself neglected.
I've based this summary on the things that struck me most in general order. Clearly, if you ever watch the anime again, you'll find a lot more details! But it's clear that he did more than that. Whether for his friends, his elders or his teachers.
The things he's done are gears for the future, so of course I'm not saying everything. But one fact that's easy to admit and notice is Shoto Todoroki's evolution.
Without Izuku, he would have achieved nothing, and an immeasurable hatred would have reached him by season 6.
Izuku helped him to find inner peace, to reconnect with his family and to make him what he is now.
I say that for him, but it applies to everyone who crosses his path. And who have decided to follow in his footsteps.
So... Thank you for everything Izuku Midoriya! Our hero!❤️

fatgum being jealous
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: taishiro toyomitsu / fatgum x gn!reader
tags: jealousy, oblivious/dense fatgum, crushes
Tumblr media
the first time fatgum saw you talking to someone else, he thought he was sick
there was this weird feeling in his stomach, that he just couldn't get rid of
even after drinking some water, that feeling was still there
and everytime he looked at you and saw you laughing with one of his colleagues, it just got worse
eventually, he just couldn't take it anymore and walked over to you, grabbing your hand and leading you away from the other guy
he explained to you that he wasn't feeling well and that perhaps you'd know what to do about it
but once he was alone with you, that stomach ache had stopped
suddenly, it was like he had never felt unwell in the first place
he didn't realize that he had never felt sick in the first place but that what he was feeling was in fact just jealousy…
