She rested her chin on her hands, and her hands on his chest. “You’re insufferable,” she said, looking up into his stormy blue eyes. Said eyes were crinkled with amusement as she looked up at him, and his expression as he gazed at her was soft and warm, not quite sexual but it made her shiver all the same. “Tell me.”
A flicker of something flashed through the stormy depths- grief, maybe, or shame-, and he looked away. “It’s nothing,” he murmured, running a hand down the curve of her lek until she sighed happily. “I don’t want to ruin this.”
“Nothing you could say would ruin this,” she countered, tracing aimless shapes on his skin with her fingertip. “Thexan.”
“Mm.”
“Freykaa.” She kissed his shoulder again. “Talk to me.”
He sighed, tipping his head back to rest against the edge of the bath. “It’s just... Arcann. And Vaylin, too.”
She reached down through the water and found his hand, threading their fingers together and resting their hands on his chest. “You’re worried about them,” she said quietly.

Ellaz breathed out sharply through her nose, jaw tight as she swung around to face him. “I’m a part of the Alliance,” she said bluntly.
He blinked. “The one with the Wrath-”
“Yeah, that one,” she said. “I’ve been funnelling information and defectors towards them for over two years now. But with the attacks on the Star Fortresses, there’s been a lot more hysteria amongst the Zakuulans and a lot more scrutiny on all of us, and it’s been damn near impossible to get in contact with folk out in the field. Hence, I made arrangements to meet up with Beniko, and used you as my cover to get upstairs-”
Navin felt a sick feeling in his stomach. Serren’s accusations rang in his ears, the implicit threat that the only reason the Green Jedi were allowed to exist at all was at Zakuul’s whims. And now he was standing party to the very same people who were conducting those attacks? “How dare you,” he snarled.
Ellaz blinked at him, her eyes turning quickly to steel. “Excuse me?”
“How dare you drag me into this without my consent,” he snapped, stabbing a finger into her chest. “You endanger not only me with your recklessness, but my entire Order! The lingering remnants of the Jedi can be quashed at any given moment for any given reason, and here you are giving them a good goddamn reason to wipe us out!”

Anyway I’m writing to distract myself and we’ve got a guest appearance from another one of Tom’s characters, a chiss jedi who served as a padawan to one of my characters, and well
She folded her hands before her, her body language deceptively demure given her vocal animosity. “My name is Draemi. Grandmaster Hervoz sent me to collect you.”
“Did he send you to insult us, too?” Thexan asked bitterly.
“Oh, no, that was all me. Although I served as a padawan to Master Hervoz in my youth, and he always encouraged me to speak my mind. In fact, he used to say ‘if the sith ever take you captive, just talk to them’.”
Ona’la smiled in relief. “That’s good, that’s a good philosophy to stand by. Talking to our enemies and seeking common ground is always-”
“He said ‘either they’ll let you go out of desperation to get you to shut up, or you’ll badger them to death with your incessant yapping’.”
you can definitely tell she’s one of Tom’s roster of unrepentant assholes
