My toxic trait is I actually love the "born sexy yesterday" trope as a general rule, or at least the version of it that exists in my head, bc childlike wonder and naïveté coupled with a lot of the sibling-tropes to that hit something primal in my brain. I will write endless headfic about anything that remotely resembles this

#and yes i watched Kyle xy religiously as a kid before I understood why #i saw someone complaining about this damaging trope on fb and immediately sighed dreamily #also contenders for my worst toxic trait: emotionally childish and bratty characters who are adults nominally but not emotionally #Like Eric phantom of the opera - killing people and also crying and very stunted #It's like catnip to me #i shudder to use the term child codes and yet............. my toxic trait is that—#Idk but “can speak like an adult w adult faculties but no street smarts” is immensely appealing for so many reasons as a trope #Partially bc it's relatable partially bc it isn't and it's fantastical comforting wish fulfillment l #Isn't that why we're all here #Ghoul speaks #tgo I'm sure I'll regret using the official tag later
