i don't think bakugou is that kind of useless dad that can't do anything without you helping him, but i do like the idea of him being a slightly frazzled new-ish dad 🥺
katsuki decides to take the baby with him on his run to the grocery store because you deserve a break, however small, and everything is fine, honestly, like. he can handle it.
but he is standing in line to checkout and there is drool on his shirt and his hair is a little messed up and sticky from being tugged on and he's got his items in one hand and baby on his hip.
your little girl has entered into that phase where she just likes hearing herself make noise, so she's clapping her hands together and just babbling, sometimes too loud, so loud that it attracts attention.
and katsuki is sort of bouncing her a little bit to keep her from getting squirmy, mumbling, "yeah, dah dah dah dah, i know," right to her ears only, giving curt nods to any of the older ladies in the store that coo over the sight of them.

"Oh, fuck no." The door is slammed, unfortunately for him, the guy stuck his foot in the jamb and pushed it open again.
"C'mon luv!" Constantine smiles charmingly, not waiting for Danny and entering the apartment.
At least Batman, Nightwing and Spoiler had the patience to wait for him to invite them in. Sagging against the door, he beckoned them inside.
Despite the caution, Spoiler gleefully stepped in, looking around like a child in an amusement park— which might not be too far off.
His apartment is, with all its wards and enchantments, very magical inside than it is outside.
The planetary system of another world, used as light for the living room and for practice.
(Nightwing is careful with what he touches. He still remembers the hours they spent in Mumbo Jumbo's hat.)
Batman on the other hand is following Constantine and Danny to what he assumes to be the office, if the amount of magical stuff carelessly laying around means anything.
"Alright fucker, what are you doing here? And how did you even know I live in gotham?"
John had the audacity to look abashed, scratching the back of his head with a nervous chuckle.
"Something came up and you know Gotham doesn't like me. She is much more used to you and I wanted to introduce bats to you, in case of emergency."
The young adolence stares owlishly.
(How did Constantine expect him to act at the fact that he's trusting a magical situation into the hands of a stranger?
Batman isn't sure how good the boy even is!)
"That's incredible thoughtful of you Connie." Danny hums. "What did you lose for your sorry ass to come here?"
Spoiler snorts, petting a red salamander. "He didn't lose anything." She reassures with a wave, giving an exaggerated smile and raising her brows to show that she's finding it very amusing.
Constantine sputters.
"Ancient knows how Zatanna and Raven deal with him."
Nighteing perks up from the side where he'd looked over the books, some pixie fairies(?) fawning over him? "Raven? You know her?"
Danny suppresses another sigh.

Iceman is the ultimate wingman both in the air and on the ground. Whether it’s hitting up the bars on port call during a deployment or back on base, he’s the one they want to help pick up chicks. He’s got a success rate that rivals his carrier landing grade, he can help even the most hopeless aviator laid.
It’s a great gig for a closeted gay man, his chill, no-nosense charm and charisma with the ladies provides a great cover, making his squadron mates none the wiser to where his true desires lay.

Eddie has a standing appointment where he goes to bridge club with his ‘ladies’. The 75+ year olds from Hawkins. He learned how to play from his granny and Wayne and he misses it. He didn’t have hellfire when he first moved to hawkins so Wayne encouraged him to join, actually went with him in the beginning but eventually work just couldn’t give him the time off.
So this is how Eddie Munson is adopted by a group of old ladies who knit and crotchet him black gloves, hats and scarves. They send him home with enough food to feed an army. He’s tried to stop them but they wouldn’t have it. Says that he pays them back by ‘keeping them young’. It’s actually because every one of them, including Eddie, is a gossip and Eddie keeps them up to date on all the drama he can get his hands on.
The ladies prod at him when he turns up one day with a dopey smile and gooey eyes. They’ve not seen this look in a long time so they know something is up. And that something is a Big. Fat. Crush. After a series of careful questions, one of the ladies, ‘big Sue’ just outright asks ‘alright honey enough pussyfooting, WHO has our boy goofier than a Disney cartoon?’ She’s met with a short burst of protests from the rest of the group before they all just stare at Eddie with expectation.
Eddie blushes hard enough to boil an egg. They’ve been through his crushes before, they know what he likes, who he likes. Actually talked him through it. One of them, Emmie, told him ‘boy you didn’t invent being gay! Give me some credit here!’ So he sighs and he mumbles ‘..ve..ington’
‘Honey we are OLD you got to speak UP’
‘I hate you guys. Fine! Steve harrington! Okay? Steve harrington and his stupid hair and his stupid smile and his stupid face!’
The room erupts with shouts, all making fun ‘ooooh Eddie harrington has a ring to it!’
‘Ali he doesn’t have to take the boys name! Munson sounds better anyway’
‘girls who is giving Eddie away at the altar? I can’t walk that far with my hip’
Eddie sits there, pulling his hair in front of his face but laughing so hard he can’t breathe. Bridge club was only ever an excuse, these are friends for life.

I do have Sevika character thoughts though, and I'm really interested in where season 1 leaves her. Sevika is loyal to Silco, but doesn't like Jinx. She's frustrated with Silco giving Jinx such leeway to do What Ever Violence she wants, and compromising his ideals for Jinx, and letting her make trouble for everyone and not doing anything to rein her in. The chem-barons weren't able to convince her to betray Silco for that, but the fact that she's near boiling over with frustration over this state of affairs was obvious to them!
Sevika believes in Silco's goals and grudgingly tolerates Jinx for that. Jinx doesn't seem to believe in much of anything except getting to face the world that hurt her and hurt it back. And now Silco is dead, and Jinx is throwing away any semblance of politics to launch a rocket at the Piltover Council, and I cannot imagine that Sevika will have any loyalty to Jinx at all. I'm hype for a season 2 power struggle between them for the remains of Silco's grip over the Undercity.
