#DONT COMMENT ON THE BACKGROUND I KNOWWWWWWWWWWWW #anyway this is day 1. they take a bus. the bakugo household has fishing gear so ´deku is wearing bakugo's onesoe (?) and bakugo is wearing #his dad's. and notices he has grown :')#anyway they take a BUS and don't feel like doing this at all it's awkward for so many reason #also trying to relax after everything is neurologically just really hard they might be hyperivgilant dik #and there's so much they never got to unpack bnut they have to and they have to start somewhere and with someone #deku makes that flower crown while bakugo preps everything and they both look at it and are thrown back into their childhood 🧍‍♀️🧍‍♀️🧍‍♀️#and at first they just sit and wait for the bavarian fish to bite (rody should make a cameo tbh) but then bakugo breaks the iceeee.#and he starts with their moms because their moms have been such a stubbron connection between these two :')#and deku answers with the usual 'good :) how's your mom :)?' and to everyone's surprise he actually opens up #and tells deku about his mom's insomnia because she watched her son die (that shit was live streamed tpo 10 bnha tweets btw)#idk i love to think of their moms being a very easy subject to connect through i think it's easier for them that way to be more vulnerablei #and then some fish biteeeeeeeeeeee #but like 3 small ones so they have to gather berries and mushrooms and make stew (dw there's an aldi this is bavaria after all)#but yeah day 1 is a bit weird like it's just them in the woods with no distractions #which is so different from whatever went on during their 1st year of high school #don't read this i will throw up i just need this somewhere this is my public scrapbook #bnha #deku #midoriya izuku #bakugo katsuki #the flower crown on their knees makes this a bit homosexual but fishing is always homosexual im not fighting against that #au:#fishing

I love how you draw Grim the size of a small cat. It genuinely blows my mind that according to the game he's actually approximately 70 cm tall... Like, Ortho is 148 cm. That's only two Grims! If Grim stands on Ortho's head, they'd be just a bit taller than Malleus (who is 202 cm and I'm not sure that's counting the horns)! The proportions are just so wild to try to imagine realistically... (and I do like the small cat Grim take more, it's very endearing)

every time I remember Grim is actually supposed to be the size of, like, a medium-to-largeish dog, and then I just...draw him cat-sized anyway. I also think it's cuter that way! 🤷 (let's just say he's not allowed to ride the servant unless he takes the shrinking potion first.)

ultimately I figure we all get a little artistic license in our fanart, and mine are:

#twisted wonderland #as far as i can tell this is not a furret situation and that 70cm does not include his tail #grim's just a big boy #a big boy who needs big helpings of tuna to sustain his giant head #(waiting for him to pull a persona and crack open to reveal a handsome anime man underneath)#i do like wide/buff silver too even though i know that isn't really canon #(i'll argue for buff sebek but silver i think is supposed to be more wiry/people are constantly surprised by how strong he is anyway)#i just...like the contrast of Two Big Guards for lilia the excitable twig and malleus the long wet drip of a man #and as long as jack remains the widest in the land i figure it all evens out somehow #(if i remember right malleus' height does include the horns) (and i think jack's includes his ears and hair which is even funnier somehow)#(i have seen some attempts to figure it out but i don't think there's ever been an official answer on height without their sticky-up bits)#(looking at the height chart mal looks about the same height as the twins and jack very slightly shorter. but that's just eyeballing it)#(don't ask how the 1cm difference between jade and floyd factors in i don't know)

the Sully kids' reaction to Jake saying Spider "knew everything" breaks my heart.

they knew him better than anyone else, better than their parents. they knew his love for Eywa, for Pandora, for The People, for the clan, for their family. they knew he would never tell the RDA anything... not willingly at least.

they knew they were leaving because Spider would be tortured for information, he'd be forced to reveal their home, their plans, their numbers, their weaknesses. their brother would be tortured and they were being forced to leave him behind.

they knew they were being forced to find a new home, without their brother, because their dad knew he would be tortured.

#I like to think. for the sake of my sanity. Jake knew Spider would be loyal to them. that he would only blab once broken by torture.#anything else would kill me. the level of anger would be lethal.#but regardless. One of the many Wolf 359 script directions that is Important To Me is this bit from Ep15 What's Up, Doc?, which comes after Hilbert has been threatening to tell Minkowski how Eiffel ended up on the Hephaestus:

still boggles my mind that in the year 2024 most players still ignore anora's character just to reduce her to a lying backstabber, when she only goes against you if:

you reveal her identity to ser cautherine and howe's soldiers, defeating the entire purpose of her disguise and also ignoring what she told you literally one minute before about how they can't know she's escaping with you - thereby betraying her first

you ignore her completely in denerim after she asks you to come talk to her, and only show up to the landsmeet

you bring up loghain's fate, and when she tells you that she would rather him be spared if possible, you tell her to her face that her father has to die

#also ppl saying that anora isnt a people person and thats why cailan/alistair are better rulers or necessary on the throne #when the game repeatedly talks about how it was ANORA who was popular and loved #loghain even tells you that she knows how to appeal to peoples emotions #'in another life she could've been a bard'#< thats not someone who doesn't know how to connect with and move people #like! youre a stranger who is aligned with eamon who wants to replace anora with alistair just to preserve a royal bloodline!#no wonder! she is not! the most open and friendly character to you!!#even that being said - she IS personable to you #she tells you personal stories about cailan and her dad #if you ask if she needs anything she is genuinely surprised and thanks you for asking #anora has flaws! you dont have to make shit up!#dragon age #dragon age origins #anora mac tir #queen anora

i was looking this up for other reasons but you're telling me my entire lifetime i thought it was common to have to deal with dry/wet/mixed counties for liquor and instead the truth was that i just live in texas???? there's huge swaths of the country that literally dont have to deal with this at all?????

#anyway. my home county was dry for a while except for restaurants but then opened it up to beer/wine in the grocery store #and no liquor stores in the entire county #meanwhile in the city my apartment's in the rest of the county is 'wet' with the individual determinations made per city limits #and i again don't live in a city like that #so i have to drive to the next city over to buy liquor lmao #also no surprise @ arkansas being the most strict
