authors note: this is a part 2 of my fic starboy and it's inspired by the Weeknd song 'stargirl interlude'

Me and Clay had been dating for nearly a month and we were planning to celebrate our anniversary by going to have dinner at his apartment but we both had to go to your friend's house for different reasons- I was there to support my best friend during her birthday party and he was there to sell drugs.

So cut to me currently sitting in front of my mirror doing my makeup- it’s was my everyday look of black smudged eyeliner but I added some shimmer on your eyelids to make them pop and added a deep red almost black lipstick to the middle of my lips and smudged it out- Clay’s favorite.

I fluffed up my hair and tried to find some sort of hairstyle to wear but I just ended up wearing it down. I was wearing a green plaid skirt with a black corset top- I was wearing a jumble of rings and necklaces along with a choker that looked a little too much like a collar. On my feet were platforms along with knee high black lace socks and to finish the outfit I was wearing Clay’s oversized leather jacket.

I had finished my makeup and now I was sitting on my bed grabbing the stuff to put into my black purse- my phone, airpods, cigarette box, money, ID, lighter and my weed pen. That was when Clay walked into the room and looked at me with a sort of excitement, which I then realized was due to the fact I was wearing his jacket and just in general of how good I looked.

“Peaches” God I loved that pet name, he sat in front of me on the bed, “You look so fucking good” he sad planting a kiss on your lips,

I giggled against his lips, and he continued “Do we have to go out, I bet Chloe won’t even know your missing” he argued

“Babe, it’s Chloe. I’ve known her since forever c’mon we just have to make an appearance and you have people who expect you to be there” I say with a pout and then drag him off our bed and then plant a kiss on his temple.

He was wearing a white david bowie top along with boyfriend jeans in blue and some nike air forces. The outfit was completed with gold rings on his hand and a gold necklace around his neck. To put is easily he looked fucking amazing I ruffled up his blond locks a bit and planted a kiss on his lips and pull him out of the apartment.

We end up situated in his car and I connect my phone to the aux and scroll through my spotify to find a good song but I just end up putting my likes on shuffled and it ends up on ‘Stargirl Interlude’ and I start dancing in my seat and lip syncing to the song,

“I had a vision,

A vision of my nails in the kitchen,

Scratching counter tops, I was screaming,

The lyrics just end up causing Clay to end up in a fit of laughter and I end up smacking his arms and asking him to stop acting like a middle schooler with fake offense in my voice,

“Holy shit was is this song called” He asks while trying to compose himself, I just grin at him and tell him it's called Stargirl Interlude,

“Oh wait it’s like the song you made me listen to um what was it OH WAIT STARBOY” He exclaims and I just nod at him chuckling at myself,

“So wait if I’m Starboy does that make you my Stargirl” He asks and I think about it, “Hrm I guess so, I’m your stargirl” he just laughs, “You bet you are” and then he kisses me

— — TIME SKIP — —

We’ve been at Chloe’s party for about 3 hours and both of us want to leave but Clay has one more thing he has to do so I just end up waiting for him while on my phone when a guy come up to me,

“Oh hey I saw you from across the dance floor, you look really pretty” He says, he’s about 6 foot, shorter than Clay, and is wearing a black dress top and black jeans, damn nice clothes,

“Oh thanks” I saw with a friendly smile hoping to end this conversation

“I was wondering if I could get your number your just like really hot” Fuck this is going to be an annoying conversation

“Uhm actually I have a boyfriend so no thanks” I say trying to be as nice as possible

“Oh c’mon I don’t see him anywhere” He says trying to convince me

“He’s in the back and I’m seriously not interested” I say backing up but eventually hitting a counter

He keeps trying to get my number for about 3 more minutes while I keep telling him to stop until I meet Clay’s eyes across the room in front of the door looking like he’s about to hurt someone, and that's when I remember that it might look like something entirely different to him.

I maneuver around the guy and I run to Clay who is almost outside the door as I call out his name, “Clay just listen to me!” I yell and all he does is tell me is to get into his car

We just sit in the silence waiting for eachother to say something, we don’t say anything until we get into the apartment and as soon as the door closes he’s on me.

His lips smash onto mine as I’m pressed on the door and he’s pulling my jacket off, “I thought I was gonna go crazy seeing you flirt with him” He says as he pulls his lips off mine and onto my neck”

“Clay, ugh fuck, I wasn’t flirting with him” I moan out

“Fuck, I know baby I know but I need to remind you who you belong to got it?” He says it like it's a question but it’s a statement, a command and a promise.

He pulls me off the door and I’m bent over his countertop with him pulling of my skirt and my panties in one swift motion and smacking my ass causing me to yelp and he grabs the base of my neck making me look up at him into his eyes that have darkened with something more sinister,

“I’m gonna make sure the only thing you can say after this is my fucking name, got it whore?” He says while slapping my ass again causing me to moan a ‘yes daddy’ under my breath

I have been tagged in so many things by so many of you lovely people in the midst of my sorta-hiatus and I would break the internet if I tried to catch up...but I like this one because it feels like a good little re-intro into the Tumblr world. :-)

What book are you currently reading?

The Writing Revolution...I can't in good conscience recommend it unless you also happen to find yourself as a teacher trying to capture teenagers' imaginations and get them to produce complete sentences! Hahahaha. Miserable toil.

What’s your favourite movie you saw in theatres this year?

Ooh, this one's easy--The Little Mermaid!! I have seen it with my family twice and then with my friends once. (I felt a little freer to lust after Prince Eric when my husband and two children weren't sitting there with me...)

What do you usually wear?

These days, some form of athleisure. During the school year, I've been told my teacher style is "Jessica Day if she didn't care so much" and...that about sums it up.

Absolutely not. I wanted to be a lawyer my entire life. My undergrad was pre-law and then life had other plans for me and now I'm teaching 8th grade American History. And LOVING IT. I start grad school in the fall and I'll be getting my Principal's Certification with that, so I suppose I'm in this education world for the long haul.

I'm fairly good with piano and singing. I'm terrible at cooking.

Their first kiss happened on David's fire escape while Jack was walking him home

Sarah saw it happen while she was looking for David to see if he was close to home

David is a blushing mess when coming in and Sarah smiles at him

Les asked if David was alright and all David could do was blush harder

On a snowy day in New York everyone is playing but David is there looking at each Newsie UNTIL JACK CHUCKS A SNOWBALL AT DAVID and they have a snowball fight

Tumbler looks to Skittery and says " Skits, mom and dad are fighting again"

It's now like a playful civil war, UNTIL SPOT COLON COMES IN AND HELPS RACE WHO IS ON DAVIDS SIDE, JACK TEAM DIES

Jack learns about Hanukkah and ask questions

David's mom and Sarah all make the Newsies quilts each with something resembling the newsie its given too

All the newsies try to find something for them, they all pitch in to get Sarah and Ester a new dress, Myer a new razor, and Les a stuffed dog

Jack and David stay up all night talking while the windows open, either in the lodge or at David's house

On thanksgiving the whole Jacobs family makes a meal for all them AND the Newsies

David sometimes has to stay at home while his parents take Les to see their grandparents so he invites Jack over while Sarah goes spend time with Katherine

If his parents are out more than 1 day Sarah and him each get a day for the house all to themselves with their partners

OK NOW FOR JAVEY BC IDK WHAT IM DOING

Jack ofc draws Davey all the time

He even drew the whole family once

Sometimes they skip an hour or two to walk in the park

Once Jack dared Davey to climb a tree and he did,,,but he fell after word

Jack wouldn't stop apologizing Davey just kissed him to shut him up

Jack would invite Davey to see Medda and drink tea with her

Davey would discuss different scenes that Jack could paint while at this

They first kissed up on Jacks penthouse

Crutchie walked/climbed in on them the first time and called to Race who owed him a quarter because he was right to bet that Davey would kiss first

Jack found out how to make flower crowns

Davey was taught by Sarah how to press them in a notebook

He looks at said notebook when he misses Jack (mostly at night when he can't sleep)

Davey tries to teach Jack how to dance

He fails a lot but at least he can dip Davey and kiss him

He also tries to teach Jack how to read better

Well he dose to most of the Newsies but like Albert and Elmer they need extra time to learn

Jack has many issues so dose Davey so they both help each other

And they have new ways to help each other all the time

so first up, my hc for what happens after camp

but anyways, obviously school comes into play sooner or later- now, for sake of convenience, let’s assume they live in a place where middle school is grades 6, 7, and 8. (Where I live it’s only 7 & 8).

now in my hc Max’s birthday is somewhere in late summer so he’d be 11 right in time for middle school. now with all my hcs for camper ages, this makes Max & Nikki 6th graders, and Neil, Harrison, Preston, and Nerris 7th graders. Dolph is in 3rd grade, space kid in 4th, and Ered & Nurf in their first year of high school.

now, once again for the sake of convenience and “because I said so”, maybe the schools kinda in a smaller town and the school doesn’t have a lot of kids, so they kinda put all the grades together??

it seems a lot of the fandom decided he kinda got locked away in his room for most of his life and at first I didn’t like the idea but

now that is part of my hc

i think he is locked in his room, so that he “doesn’t hurt anyone”

the door is unlocked when his parents leave for work in the morning so he can go to school and then come back, and the door is locked once one of his parents gets home

they do (semi-regularly) just,, slide some food in the room

they don’t really check on him so a lot of the time he’s there he sneaks out the window to go do basically anything other than be in his room (this, again w the non-existant fic, will normally lead to some shenanigans w the performance trio out somewhere)

i don’t really have opinions on any other characters. and I think we all know damn well that if I write a fic it will end up being Harrison-centric no matter what I try to do

hey! so i was reading ur pup au fanfics and i was wondering if you had any like ages set for 'em:)

So usually, if needed and not directly stated in the body of the fic itself, their ages are stated in the author’s note of each individual one-shot because the AU jumps all over the kids’ lives

The general order is Lillian Marie “Lily” Greer (Milo’s daughter) is the oldest of the core seven. Then Evelyn Talbot (Asher’s daughter). Then Gabriel David Shaw (David’s son). Then Natalie Jean Shaw (David’s daughter). Then Daniel Milo “Danny” Greer (Milo’s son). Then Micah Skye Collins (Sam’s daughter). Then Rosalind “Rose” Solaire (Vincent’s daughter).

Rosalind doesn’t show up for the first major portion of the AU because she didn’t exist for a long time and got added way later

I also haven’t figured out her and Evelyn’s middle names yet lol. They haven’t been relevant

Lily is three years older than her brother Danny. Gabriel is 18 months older than his sister Natalie. Danny is 7 months younger than Natalie and Micah is like three months younger than him. I don’t remember the age difference between Evelyn and Gabriel but it’s like a year. Lily is also about a year older than Gabriel but she’s a few months older than Evelyn. Micah is the youngest of the shifter kids but Rosalind is 5 years younger than her.

I wrote their birthdays on a post somewhere but I don’t have time to find it right now

So their ages are all over the place depending on if I wanted to write them as babies or children or pre teens or teenagers. I’m writing random snapshots of their lives. But I try to keep their age gaps relatively consistent even though for the first little while I didn’t have a set idea of solid times. I knew their birth order just not the distance between them at the time

For the original post, it was meant to be that every segment was the kids getting a little older. It starts with Gabriel at like 13 so Natalie’s about 11, Danny and Micah 10, Evelyn like 14 and Lily nearly 15. Then each segment jumps a little until the last segment is Gabriel at 18. So Natalie’s about 16, Danny and Micah about 15, Evelyn and Lily are 19 and almost 20.

For this answer I'm going to pick songs from my musical playlist, because I really love musicals and sing them a lot despite not having the range lol

Empty Chairs at Empty Tables from Les Misérables. Specifically the David Bryant version because get this...His singing voice sounds exactly like dub Astral. Please listen to it, it rocked my world. The concept of Astral having survivor's guilt is something I never knew I needed.

Birth to My Creation from Frankenstein the Musical. This is my absolute favorite musical song ever, I was so determined to learn all of it and sing it in character and I accomplished that. I basically introduced this song to my friend by acting out the whole thing in the car. I love a lot of the Frankenstein songs, especially The Waking Nightmare, Amen, These Hands, etc. (Which since you're a Zexal buddy, The Waking Nightmare gives me major Don Thousand vibes) Please check them all out. I'm sad because it's a relatively unknown musical and I can't find a recording of it's professional performance with Steve Blanchard as the monster :( I would love to see it if it ever gets performed again.

All You Wanna Do from Six: The Musical. I'll admit I'm better at singing Don't Lose Ur Head, which is also an amazing song by the way, but God this song is amazing. It's so long and has multiple different verses and that's what made it so fun to learn and memorize. This is another really great musical. I know a decent amount of Tudor history, wrote my historiography paper on Anne Boleyn that got me into Grad school. It's a really fun and cool way to tell these woman's history through a modern musical and Katherine Howard finally got the attention she's been lacking in Tudor history.

Feed Me from Little Shop of Horrors. Catchy as hell song about a man-eating plant encouraging murder. I love this musical a lot, it's truly one of a kind, and I'm not just saying that because the evil plant named Audrey crashed on Earth on my birthday. Just a crazy coincidence! (A really scary one like what)

Cell Block Tango from Chicago. Needs no introduction, if you know this song you know how fire it is! A lot of songs from Chicago are great but nothing can beat the the six merry murderesses of the Cook County Jail
