Happy New Year everyone!
So here I have my Last piece of art for...
2023!
And my First piece for 2024
Faye Talina as a Wicked Desert Priestess.
Only compliant is that I slightly messed the face due to the hat.
She is not technically Egyptian as she is supposed to be from a fantasy desert country, she's technically a moon priestess, but um, you'll notice that the Sarcophagus behind her looks a lot like Rouxy Reye my other OC don't you.
Yeah... bout that.

3. Favorite OC?
GAH THIS ONE IS RLY HARD LMAO I HAVE A LOT OF FAVORITES? My skrunklies just kinda. rotate around in my mind. Some days it'll be one character and the next day another...
BUT to answer this in FAIRNESS I'll probably say Diogo! I've put the most effort and care into him and he's come a long way since he was first concepted, I suppose if I were to be "known" for any oc- I'd want it to be him! I also use him in DnD with my friends (which has some REALLY funny stories) along with him being a main character in mine and my bf's shared universe and story so....the bias is real actually. Who am I kidding it's Diogo he's my favorite /lh

4. Favorite OC design?
I can say this one also changes often but I'd be lying I'm absolutely obsessed w/Opal's design. He's just very fun and vibrant and I ADORE how they look. Sea Slug :) I just rly like looking at and drawing him so GKNHKGHNK
Also he's inspired by RouxIs who's design I already love tenfold so once again Bias Is Real Actually LMAO
(initial sketch was done by Rob while edits + everything else/the tiny backview was done by meeee <3)
6. Describe your character creation process?
CHARACTER CREATION IS PRETTY WEIRD WITH ME I tend to make the "character" first before the design! I need to have some, idea where I want to go with the character so I can give them the proper personality/wardrobe whenever I work on the art.
So after chara dev THEN I usually move onto the design lol sometimes as I'm doodling a design I come up w/an idea for them and rework the sketch to better reflect it. Either way I like having SOME semblance of an idea of what I want them to do/be like before I start designing! It also helps me visualize some ideas before i just go into it- bc have problems visualizing designs and putting them to paper just out of the blue
Working on the art side of a design is. hard NGHKGNKH and I'm not immune to looking up references- esp for outfits bc those are HARD to design. Good Lird. Usually sketching the base design is the easiest for me bc I have a general good idea what I'm going for in terms of appearance, but when I move onto colors I GET REALLY PICKY LOL. I can spend like. 20 minutes trying to decide between two almost near identical colors. Colors. (derogatory)
But to get my ass to work on the art of a design I have to be in the right headspace bc I am. VERY selective with how I design characters bc a lot of times I can't properly convey whats in my head onto the character bc I can visualize them up there in the brain and through words but I can't get it down on paper. (Which is why im VERY thankful for Rob, I can explain what I'm going for in detail and he's REALLY GOOD at drawing from that and I appreciate it a lot. He helps me a lot w/the art side of designing) Art hard <3 I am a better writer <3 GNHKGHKGHGH
Gestures vaguely. Character creation wild and I do not always follow this process LMAO esp when it's a character that I like, bought from someone (Like Rob's adopts or smth) then I just do the chara dev part but even then I'm picky w/which designs I get that way bc I need to make sure I CAN use them as a character and I don't just like the design and have 0 ideas for them. Bc being able to use and write about a character and talk about them is more important to me than just having something I like visually but unable to really "do" anything with them!

I went through my old sketchbooks and found an old OC, Rouxi. She was a former assassin on the wrong side of a war. When her childhood friend is killed in action, only then does she realize she needs to get out and right some wrongs.
As a show of devotion to making things right, Rouxi exchanges her right eye for the sake of justice and new beginnings. And yes, it is a living flower blooming in her eye socket-- I was like 16 when I designed her, I know it doesn't make sense lol!

Hello everyone, sorry I haven't posted since... June? I just have been stressing out over how many sites to post to.
So I decided to give PostyBirb a shot and see if it makes it easier.
Anyway I am sorta doing my own Drawlloween Prompt list, Fantasy Fashion.
My First one is Egyptian Reincarnation, featuring my OC Rouxy Reye, as a Reincarnated Egytptian Princess.
Is it too Sutble?
Basically I am going to draw my characters in various outfits. that said I don't think I'll be doing one a day because it takes three to color.

YOU KNOW WHAT
Oh dear, oc art, finally!
This totally describes the dynamic between Rouxie Ann (right) and Eud (left). I don't know what Rouxie has said to Eud to draw that expression out of him, but if I had to guess, she's either telling him how many she has killed with her claws, or breaking him the news as to why he's never going to have biological children. Rouxie is a bit of an ass, she loves to bully Eud, who's quite much like an angel on Earth, but please. before you start hating on Rouxie, keep in mind that their relationship isn't actually toxic; Eud enjoys Rouxies bluntness, for she is just about the only one he knows who will treat him like an adult. Eud's peace loving and pure demeanor is so often mistaken for him being unable to handle the harsh truths of life. Which isn't true. He's not stupid. He might need more time to deal with such topics, but he will handle them.
With this drawing I realised that black and white cats aren't only hard to photograph, they're also hard to light and shade well-rounded while drawing.

Amélia: ‘I collect incenses. They smell nice.’ *smiles* ‘I use them for the meditation sections with mom. Most of them are kept in the basement and my favorites in my nightstands.’

Venna: ‘Epic fantasy is my favorite genre of books, films and video games. I don’t watch TV shows and I’m quite eclectic when it comes to music.’
Amélia: ‘Horror for books and science-fiction for films and video games.’ *hums* ‘My musical taste is also eclectic. Documentary is my favorite genre of TV shows.’
35. What’s their guilty pleasure? What is their totally unguilty pleasure?
Venna: ‘Lazing around when I should be doing something else. I blame Shuu.’ *sighs* ‘Eating granola bars is my unguilty pleasure~!’
Amélia: ‘I don’t think I have a guilty pleasure…’ liar *rubs neck* ‘Gardening is my unguilty pleasure.’
49. What is their most valued object? Are they sentimental? Is there something they have to take everywhere with them?
Venna: ‘It’s a blue bracelet with a windmill pendant. My parents gave it to me in one of my birthdays. It’s precious to me, but I don’t wear it all the time.’
Amélia: *murmurs* ‘A light blue strand of hair… It’s not exactly an object though…’
