I would pay good money for a show focused the corrie guard with Fox as some sort of Dirty Harry, with gun fu fight scenes.
Honestly Disney is a bunch of cowards for not expanding on the Corrie Guard. Like think of the Potential!

MHMS’s COVID-19 Emergency Response workshop underway
Tumblr media
The Ministry of Health and Medical Service’s (MHMS) is currently holding its five days’ COVID-19 emergency response training workshop in Honiara while the National Health Emergency Operations Centre (NEHOC) is on standby mode for activation at short notice. The workshop aims to critically review, update and harmonize MHMS’s emergency Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and strengthen all other aspects of its COVID-19 preparedness and response. The workshop stem from the recent COVID-19 exercise conducted by the MHMS during the 36 hours’ lockdown in which a number of gaps and shortfalls in MHMS’s COVID-19 preparedness and response were identified.   In opening the workshop, MHMS Permanent Secretary Mrs. Pauline McNeil highlighted that all issues including those pertaining to the SOPs of various health teams identified during the recent COVID-19 simulation exercise will be dealt with in the workshop.  “The COVID-19 36 hours’ lockdown exercise has exposed some of our inadequacies and unraveled some of our weaknesses of our preparedness and response. However, this training provides us with an opportunity to improve on aspects of our efforts that were inadequate during the lockdown particularly in revisiting our SOPs and to ensure that these SOPs are practical and workable during real time scenario”. The Permanent Secretary also added that since January MHMS had a total of 88 SOPs and during the lockdown almost 20 new scenarios have been injected into the SOPs thus work on harmonizing the SOPs across health teams and also to other sectors is a crucial task in this workshop”, stated Mrs. McNeil. She encourages participants to engage in constructive discussion on how they can also align themselves to their SOPs and share responsibilities to avoid duplication of roles and ensure work effectiveness and efficiency within and between their teams.  “With this I encourage all health team leaders to take ownership of your SOPs and drive its implementation with confidence and assertiveness”, said Mrs. McNeil.  Also delivering her brief remarks was the WHO Country Representative to Solomon Islands Dr. Sevil Huseynova who highlighted that Solomon Islands is among the only 12 countries in the world that still maintains a COVID-19 free status and so it is important to grasp this opportunity to build capacities of respondents to effectively and efficiently tackle any entry and outbreak of COVID-19. Dr Huseynova also stated that we will never return to normal until we have a COVID-19 vaccine and as such, there must be a “new normal” by way of incorporating COVID-19 preventative measures in our daily lives and also on how we efficiently utilize our limited resources.   “We’ve had many infectious diseases that we fought and continue to fight that are still without vaccine, yet we know how to manage and protect ourselves and our communities from, therefore we must also do the same for COVID-19 in practicing COVID-19 preventative measures as the “new normal”.   In saying this, Dr Sevil further highlighted the need to redefine accountability for health, where individual health should be considered as a public good. “Greater attention is required for community engagement, health promotion and public health prevention to focus at each individual in our communities to keep them healthier for a greater good, including the continuity of gains made in immunization, maternal and child care, malaria & tuberculosis elimination efforts, and non-communicable diseases”. “We must also consider this “new normal” in public health planning which may involve how we can efficiently use our very limited resources to maximize gains as COVID-19 may present a situation of lower economic income for both the state and households leading to less monetary contributions to the health sector which in turn can lead to a deteriorating state of public health, with more out-of-pocket spending by households”, stated Dr Huseynova. Dr Sevil concluded by reassuring WHO’s commitment towards supporting Solomon Islands in its fight against COVID-19.   The Permanent Secretary thanked the ongoing efforts of every health workers and support staff in their commitment and dedication towards the fight against COVID-19 and MHMS partners for the ongoing support. Also in attendance were representatives from other sectors including officials from National Disaster Operations Centre, development partners and other points of entry agencies. Read the full article

NEHOC | Chp. 15 - Victory
“I’m in pursuit !” Puck and Stride hear Chase shout over the comms.
“Slow down, hot rod. I’m barely keeping up! ” Hex huffs soon after. It is a simple foot chase. A protester walloped a senator over the head with their sign and now the Coruscant Guard and Senate Guard are in pursuit. Stride personally found some hilarity in it all. The protesters, of all things they could be upset about in the galaxy, were protesting the luxurious wardrobes of the senators. Stride had originally thought that the protest was warranted—if they spent less money on themselves, maybe they would have more money for their people. Turns out, the protestors were upset that senators are wearing robes made from a particular animal’s fur and that was enough to gather several hundred beings at the front steps of the rotunda. Never mind the enslaved army, no that’s not worth protesting about at all.

Prompt: characters a and b are both angry with each other, and they both know it, and they both know why. But neither of them will talk about it.
OooO so, idk if you read NEHOC, but this prompt spoke to me for two of my favorite clone OCs.
Chp. 14 Miscommunication | NEHOC
Puck throws his helmet against the wall of the armory and grips a stack of ammunition crates for support as he struggles to catch his breath. His chest heaves with anger and he hastily swipes tears from his eyes.
Stride ran ahead. He fucking ran ahead. Stride knows that Puck can’t keep up with him--the kid runs like his blacks are on fire. Sure, they had to be quick, some little girl got snatched up off the street and Stride would rather die than watch a civvie child be kidnapped, but still.
He broke SOP. They’re supposed to stay in pairs for a reason . He could have gotten hurt and Puck wouldn’t have been there and Stride could have fallen and he would have laid there--
Puck turns and punches the wall.

😱 For Stride or Puck would be fun. Or any of the clone OC's really lol But I just finished last night catching up on "Nothing Ever Happens on Coruscant" so Stride and Puck are on the forefront of my mind lol.
AAh! Thank you! I'm gonna do two, one for each of them.
Telling a joke:
Stride sits in the mess, scowling at his datapad. Puck finds this unacceptable and slides next to his brother.
"What do you want, Puck?" Stride grumbles, typing something.
"Hey, I have a question for you."
"Shoot."
"What's the difference between hungry and horny?"
Stride takes a deep breath through his nose and exhales through his mouth, slowly straightening himself to stare at Puck. "I think you know the difference, considering those are your only two moods."
"Ouch." Puck clutches his chest in mock offense. "Well, the difference is where you put the wiener, in case you were wondering."
Stride's mouth falls open and then gradually twists into a smile. A laugh bursts from him and he wipes at his eyes. "I dare you to tell that to Commander Fox."
Telling a lie:
"Wait, Ilona, wait!" Stride chases Ilona down the hall of the apartment building.
"Stride, I appreciate you taking me all over the kriffing city, but I have things I have to do."
"Like what?" he asks, catching up with her. She walks incredibly fast, it's like trying to keep up with Fox.
"I need to answer emails, check my voicemail, make sure Puck hasn't burnt down the place yet. Remember when he tried to make nuna rolls? We do not need a repeat performance of that fiasco."
"It wasn't that bad."
"What is Puck doing anyway? I figured he'd be my tour guide today since it is my birthday."
They are rapidly approaching the apartment, and Stride still hasn't received the go-ahead. "Uh, sick. I think," Stride answers.
"Sick? You think?"
"I know."
"You know he's sick?" Ilona slows to a stop and raises an eyebrow. "Stride, tell me what's going on."
"He's, been quarantined."
“Mhm,” Ilona steps into Stride’s space and he retreats until his back hits the wall. “Stride.”
“Illona?” he croaks. The light on the nice leather vambrace Riyo had gotten him as a birthday gift lights up. “Hey, look at that. I think he might be feeling better. Maybe we can go say hi.”
She rolls her eyes and gratefully doesn’t say anything about Stride’s inability to tell a believable lie. When she keys in her code to open the door, she is met by all of her friends and family screaming ‘surprise’.
The smile that blooms on her face was worth it.

Chp. 10 - Baby Blues | NEHoC
Stride, Puck, and Fort stand around the Coruscant Guard desk staring down at the bundle left on the doorstep. Stride and Puck found it when they returned from their patrol, and Lieutenant Fort had been the first commanding officer to notice them panicking over the fact that a child was left on their doorstep.
“Oh this is gonna make Fox’s fucking day,” Fort mutters as her turns on his comm.
“Sir, it's barely 0600,” Stride mutters.
“Bold of you to assume he has been to sleep yet,” he tells them.
“Fox.” His comm chirps.
“Commander, we have a bit of a situation,” Fort says.

Morale Exercise | NEHoC
Everyone is gathered in one of the hangars for a morale booster. All of the Coruscant Guard has been divided into three different groups and assigned to a commanding officer. Except Fox. Puck doesn’t blame him, he is probably entirely too busy to participate in such frivolous affairs, but still.
It would be nice to at least see him up close.

Distinguishing Marks | NEHoC
Commander Stone stands in front of them, arms tucked behind his back. “Welcome to your first prison duty, men. Here, we guard Coruscant’s worst. I’m talking murderers, bounty hunters, terrorists. We have a strict standard operating procedure and I expect each and everyone of you to follow that procedure to the fucking letter. Am I understood?”
“Sir yessir!” Romeo and Tango squads snap their heels together.
“Excellent. I’ve sent the procedures to your datapads. Tango squad you have day shift. Romeo, you have night shift. In two weeks we'll switch. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask your squadron leaders, Flip and Dodger. Dismissed.”
