Nak'ay - Rotting Away

Already blushed earlier about how Sick/Tired had an amazing year in 2016 with three amazing splits, this is the second - and in my opinion the best - of them, with Fort Wayne grinders Nak’ay. Both bands bring their best here, Sick/Tired doing maybe the most relentless session they ever had here, which fits them really well (I’m not a fan of overcomplicated grindcore anyway, except if we’re talking about Parlamentarisk Sodomi), even the last slower longer song has a perfect midtempo galloping in it. And Nak’ay? They were always fucking relentless to begin with, so it was pretty easy for them to make the cut. 8 songs in about 3 minutes full of tempo changes and killer thrash riffs, this is probably the most you could wish from a grindcore album. Check this one out, even if you’re not a fan of the genre. Highlights: It would be easier to select the tracks that aren’t highlights, but there are none.
