How Do You Care About The Premium Quality Mulberry Silk Fabric, Yardage, Or Shawl?
Mulberry silk, renowned for its smoothness, luster, and durability, is one of the most luxurious fabrics in the world. It is produced from the cocoons of silkworms that eat only mulberry leaves, which impart the silk's signature sheen and softness. Ideal for creating elegant yet comfortable clothing and accessories, mulberry silk fabric lends itself to dresses, blouses, skirts, suits, scarves, shawls, and wraps.
Tumblr media
Silk yardage refers to the length and width measurements of silk fabric, typically sold by the yard or meter depending on the location. Silk fabrics vary in quality, weight, and price according to the type and grade of silk used. Popular silk yardage types include charmeuse, chiffon, crepe, dupioni, georgette, habotai, organza, and satin.
Tumblr media
Silk yardage and shawls are versatile, fashionable garments that can be worn in many ways for different occasions. Soft, lightweight silk adds a touch of color, texture, and style when draped over shoulders, wrapped around necks, tied at waists, or worn as headscarves. Available in a variety of colors, patterns, and designs, silk shawls compliment any outfit.
Valued for its delicate texture and luxurious sheen, mulberry silk demands gentle care to preserve its beauty. Follow these tips when laundering, storing, or wearing mulberry silk fabric, yardage, or shawls.
Hand wash or machine wash the mulberry silk yardage, shawls, and other items by using a mild, pH-balanced detergent. It will keep your mulberry silk yardage, shawls, and other items looking their best! Avoid bleach, enzymes, or harsh chemicals that could damage the delicate silk fibers, reducing their natural luster and softness.
turn your mulberry silk yardage and shawls inside out before washing. It will protect the outer surface and any embroidery or embellishment from wear and tear!
Rinse your mulberry silk yardage, shawls, and other items thoroughly until the water runs clear. Avoid wringing or twisting the silk as this can cause creases and distortions. Instead, gently squeeze out excess water or blot dry with a towel.
To avoid tangling or snagging your mulberry silk fabric with other fabrics, place it inside a mesh bag before washing.
To avoid creases and distortions, rinse your mulberry silk fabric thoroughly with cold water, without wringing or twisting, to remove any soap residue and excess dye.
Air dry your mulberry silk fabric. Hang it or lay it flat in a shaded area. Avoid it from direct sunlight or heat sources, as they can cause the color to fade and weaken the silk fibers. Remember not to tumble dry or hang your silk, yardage, and shawls, as this can lead to stretching and sagging.
When it comes to ironing your mulberry silk, yardage, and shawls, it is best to do it inside out. Use a low-temperature setting and make sure to use the steam function. Avoid spraying water or starch on your silk, as this can leave unwanted marks and stains. Go with steam ironing to remove wrinkles and give them a refreshed appearance.
Proper storage is crucial for maintaining the quality of your mulberry silk, yardage, and shawls. Find a cool, dry, and dark place to store them. Keep them away from dust and insects. use a breathable garment bag to protect your silk from snagging and fading!
If mulberry silk yardage, shawls, or other items become stained, pre-treat the spots right away. Gently dab liquid stain remover or mild detergent on the stain without rubbing. Then blot the stain with a clean cloth and rinse with cold water to avoid spreading or setting in the stain.

Why handloom fabric will never go out of Style
With increased awareness of the fashion industry's negative impact on the environment, people have started to show a massive desire for handmade and hand-loomed items.
They realize the value and specialty handmade pieces bring to the table and in one's life. There is something special about handloom fabrics, it not only provides exclusive textiles, but the mastery of handloom fabrics is unique, authentic, and artistic.
The people behind creating this fabric have put significant effort, love, and passion into making these beautiful textiles.
So ever wondered what really are handloom fabrics?
What are handloom fabrics?
So, before learning about handloom fabrics, let us know what a loom is first.
A loom is a machine operated to weave cloth and tapestry. The primary purpose of any loom is to hold the warp threads under tension to stimulate the weft threads' interweaving to create a textile.
Tumblr media
Further, handloom fabrics are handwoven fabrics created on this weaving machine.
To create a handloom fabric, the weaver starts the process by interlacing a set of vertical threads(the warp) with a bunch of horizontal threads(the weft).
Then the loom holds the warp threads under tension to facilitate the interweaving of the weft threads over and above the warp using a weaving shuttle. Finally, the weaver repeats the interweaving process until the handloom fabric is created.
Handloom weaving requires the utmost patience, artistry, technical skills, and physical strength.
Creating handloom fabrics is not just about protecting nature but also about love. The weaver's passionate about what they are making, they put their heart and soul into creating this textile. They select the yarn, pattern, color, texture, and accurate technique to create the suitable fabric, and it's reflected on the material.
Tumblr media
Handloom fabrics don't feature just one type of fabric, instead, it comes in a variety of rich colors, patterns, and designs.
The reason handloom fabrics have wide varieties is that it's directly linked to the culture of each community. They have passed on their designs from generation to and formed an identity of their own.
Advantages of handloom fabrics:-
Originality and Uniqueness
The most significant advantage of handloom fabric is that no two hand-loomed materials are the same. Each fabric exhibits unique craftsmanship.
Variousness
As the handloom allows the weavers to explore their creativity in creating beautiful textiles, they explore new ideas and make some extravagant designs and patterns.
Quality
The fibers used to create handloom fabrics are high-quality natural fibers like cotton, linen, silk, and wool; these are environmentally friendly and long-lasting fabrics.
Good for the skin
The handlooms use natural fibers that protect the skin and don't harm it. In addition, it feels good on the skin, unlike synthetic fiber.
Skill preservation and source of livelihood
Since ancient times handloom has proved to be a great source of livelihood across rural India. Even today, the handloom community has preserved its heritage and employs numerous people.
Types of Handloom Fabrics:
Khadi: Khadi, the hand-spun fabric, referred to as the hope of our environment is a fabric known for our nation's freedom struggle, representing the love for our country and its people.
It is made by using natural fiber and is woven so that this fabric will keep the body cool during summer and warm during winter.
Kala Cotton: Kala Cotton is an organic woven textile that allows for sustainable living, as the production is purely ecological with no pesticides and synthetic fertilizers used. It is durable, strong, and stretchable, and it takes dye brilliantly
Tussar Silk: Tussar Silk is the strongest natural textile in the world. The fabric is highly breathable with high moisture-wicking abilities. Despite its immense tensile strength, its softness has made it a hotly desired commodity throughout history.
Mulberry: Mulberry silk is the highest quality silk that is smooth to the touch and has a glossy look. It is one of the oldest types of silk fabric that comes from moth cocoons.
What makes mulberry silk different from other silks is the uniform quality of the fibers. The diameter, color, and texture of a strand of mulberry silk are the same from one cocoon to another.
Muga Silk: Muga Silk follows the path of Ahimsa, meaning not causing harm to other living things. Therefore, this silk is produced without killing the creatures that crafted it. Instead, this silk is a step towards appreciating and supporting the beautiful soul and nature that created it.
Banana: Banana fabric is developed from the outer lining of banana peels. This fabric is one of the most luxurious fabrics. It is soft like silk on the inside and hard like cotton on the outside, making it one of the best fabrics to create comfortable, long-lasting, quality garments, decors, and accessories.
Organic Cotton: Organic cotton comes with various benefits for our environment and our people. For example, this fabric doesn't retain chemicals from its garments, due to which it reduces exposure to allergens and dermatological issues.
The use of organic cotton benefits the farmer as they are exposed to fewer chemicals.
There are so many benefits and types of handloom fabrics that they can never get out of style.

Embrace minimalist basics (tees, tanks, blouses, sweaters, jeans, trousers, blazers, leather jackets, coats, etc.) in high-quality fabrics (Pima cotton, Merino wool, Tencel, mulberry silk, etc.)
Choose options in black, white, grey, charcoal beige, navy, burgundy, or cream depending on your skin tone and preferences

When in doubt, select a neutral head-to-toe monochrome outfit
If on a budget, consider choosing black, grey, camel beige items to hide fabric imperfections that could cheapen your look

Select sleek, simple neutral (& almost exclusively) monochrome shoes made with smooth (recycled/vegan) leather with
Pair almost any outfit with a shoe featuring a slight platform, block heel, kitten heel, and/or a sharply pointed toe to elongate your silhouette
Complement your outfit with structured, pared-back handbags with no logos (Focus on quality and construction, not the brand name) in a neutral shade and timeless silhouette
For jewelry, choose at most one statement piece and all others should be focused on different areas of the body (e.g. don't mix statement earrings with layered/bold necklaces or stacked rings * bracelets). Lightly contour with a bronzer that complements your skin tone
Fill in your brows for a naturally full look (or get them professionally tinted)
Apply a light wash of rose, coral, or mauve blush

Maintain cut, cleaned, and filed short nails
Opt for a square or almond nail shape
Choose a timeless nail shade (pink, nude, red, beige, dark cherry, navy, dark purple, black) with no nail art
Hydrate your hands and scrub under your nails daily
Regarding your signature scent(s):
Ensure your body wash/lotion and perfume scents don't clash
Test perfumes for a trial day to ensure they smell divine with your unique pheromones
Choose a fragrance appropriate for the seasonal/occasion
Apply a dab on each wrist and on your neck/behind the ears. If the scent doesn't project well on you, try applying these small dabs on the cuffs and shoulders of your jacket/walk into it to get it on your hair (if it would stain your clothes)
Don't layer more than one heady perfume at a time or scents that don't have complementary and/or shared notes
Follow your dental & bodily hygiene routines religiously:
Floss every day (after each meal if possible)
Brush your teeth with an electric toothbrush twice a day
Have mints on hand if you're a garlic, spice, or coffee lover
Keep your lips & hands well-moisturized and protected with SPF
Shower your body daily and be extra diligent in scrubbing your privates, everything behind, and under your arms
Don't use very hot water in the shower (it burns/dries out your skin)
Exfoliate 2-3 times a week with a sugar scrub
Moisturize daily or anytime you get out of the shower
Apply SPF on any exposed sun (especially in the summer or when the UV index is high in your area)

woah!!! another!! here are some glamor shots of two gift copies completed and ready to be mailed >;3c theyre a bit wonky in some places because im still learning (and there was supposed to be a third copy in this set that died tragically to a structural failure) BUT overall im very happy with how these came out.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the left book is a special bind for @faggotzoro as thanks for writing fanfic of my story, with his fic bound in the back!!!! it has a blue dragon skin marble cover with a silver hand-foiled title, a black cloth/silver hand-foiled spine, black endbands, blue/blue endsheets, a silver katana bookmark made from black woven trim, and hand-sanded, black speckled edges!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
the right book is a special bind for @fluffyartbl0g as thanks for their fanart!!! they also asked for feed your plants a little sunlight to be bound in the back... ALONG WITH AN AMAZING UPDATED VERSION OF THE COMIC THAT INSPIRED IT!!!! AAAAA!!!
this bind has a red/gold lokta cover with a rectangular square cut-out in the board and layered white/gold lokta + cardstock over the opening to create a 3-D effect! the endsheets are metallic gold mulberry paper and the bookmark is a white silk ribbon with a 24k gold clasp and a gold painted katana charm. the titles on both the cover and spine were hand-foiled and then painted with gel ink, and the edges were hand-sanded and then speckled with red. oh! and it has white endbands.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
the third copy that i ultimately scrapped (literally during the case-in step!! it was almost done!! RIP to those materials...) had thin endsheets that led to a structural failure. to try and prevent that, these books have sewn-in flexible made endpapers to... i'd say 80% success?
overall, im learning a lot--my textblock edges have significantly improved and my cuts are much cleaner. board measurement, however, continues to be the biggest challenge--and i might try a thinner ink for edge-painting. i also think im going to experiment with other titling methods, because hand foiling takes about 2+ hours per title (so with two titles per book, each book takes 4-6 hours depending on how often i have to take breaks, the size of the title, and whether its on the fabric or paper).
i have some ideas for my next two gift copies (which are already sewn... ive been busy), so im hoping the process will go even smoother. in other news, ive started the typeset for ocean theology. taking my current pace into account, i'm hoping to open shop around january 25th.

Silk in Antiquity
Silk is a fabric first produced in Neolithic China from the filaments of the cocoon of the silk worm. It became a staple source of income for small farmers and, as weaving techniques improved, the reputation of Chinese silk spread so that it became highly desired across the empires of the ancient world. As China's most important export for much of its history, the material gave its name to the great trading network the Silk Road, which connected East Asia to Europe, India, and Africa. Not only used to make fine clothes, silk was used for fans, wall hangings, banners, and as a popular alternative to paper for writers and artists.
Origins & Cultivation
Silk is produced by silk worms (Bombyx mori) to form the cocoon within which the larvae develop. A single specimen is capable of producing a 0.025 mm thick thread over 900 metres (3,000 ft) long. Several such filaments are then twisted together to make a thread thick enough to be used to weave material. Fabrics were created using looms, and treadle-operated versions appear in, for example, the murals in tombs of the Han dynasty (206 BCE - 220 CE). The silk could be dyed and painted using such minerals and natural materials as cinnabar, red ochre, powdered silver, powdered clam shells, and indigo and other inks extracted from vegetable matter.
Sericulture - that is the cultivation of mulberry leaves, the tending of silkworms, the gathering of threads from their cocoons and the weaving of silk - first appears in the archaeological record of ancient China c. 3600 BCE. Excavations at Hemudu in Zhejiang province have revealed Neolithic tools for weaving and silk gauze. The earliest known examples of woven silk date to c. 2700 BCE and come from the site of Qianshanyang, also in Zhejiang. Recent archaeological evidence suggests that the Indus Valley civilization in the north of the Indian subcontinent was also making silk contemporary with the Neolithic Chinese. They used the Antheraea moth to produce silk threads for weaving.
However, silk production on a large scale and involving more sophisticated weaving techniques would only appear from the Chinese Shang and Zhou dynasties in the 2nd millennium BCE. Silk then became one of the most important manufactured and traded goods in ancient China, and finds of Shang dynasty (c. 1600 - 1046 BCE) silk in an Egyptian tomb are testimony to its esteemed value and use in early international trade.

Pairing: Max Verstappen x driver!reader, Charles Leclerc x driver!reader
Words: 673
Summary: in the orbit of firsts and lasts
He slumps onto the couch, tilts his head back to cast his eyes at your back.
“I wanted to kiss you up there.”
You freeze, and in the silence that follows you’re keenly aware of the erratic thudding of your heart.
“I wanted to kiss you and tell everyone that I would happily watch you spray champagne on that step above me every time if it meant that we-”
“Max, I- please. Don’t… please,” you whisper, as you turn shakily to face him.
He’s in front of you now, his gaze blue and bright and brave with the tequila shots from earlier and god knows what else. You can’t afford to lose yourself in the what else.
“I wanted to tell everyone that you were my first. That I loved you first. That you were mine first.” He’s in your space, a lion’s prowl towards your body, crowding you up against the vanity. “That no matter how far it went, it would always come back to me.”
His voice has dropped, rumbling through a chest that is so resolutely pressed to yours. You arch instinctively, shuddering at the feel of him, hard and insistent against your thigh.
The dress you’ve worn is flimsy, creamy mulberry silk edged with lace, a confection of contrasts that only your subconscious understood. It was all for him. Now his hands are there, burning through the fabric at your hips, tracing up the slit at your thigh as he rests his forehead against yours.
It’s almost sweet, the way he’s controlling himself, not giving in to the simmering tension until you let him in. It reminds you of years gone by, of the first of many firsts, of fumbling in the dark and honey-slow strokes in the light.
A loud knock on the door startles you both, and you nearly headbutt him in a scramble to answer it, his eyes never leaving yours as you practically flee across the room.
“Ma cherie? Are you in there?”
You yank the door open, equal parts relief and terror as you stare at Charles, holding out a bouquet of roses the same shade of cream as your dress.
“Here,” he thrusts the flowers towards you. “I got these for you.” His eyes flicker over your dress, the delicate brush of lace against your skin, the risqué slit at the thigh, and he blushes, boyish and embarrassed, and you can’t help but tease him a little.
“Charles Leclerc, you big romantic sap. All these years and you’re still not used to seeing me in a dress, huh?” He answers your grin with one of his own, eyes crinkling at the corners as you step into him and press a soft kiss to his lips. “Merci pour les fleurs. Elles sont très jolies.”
“Pas aussi jolie que toi,” he murmurs, the soft green of his eyes tinged with desire. “Are you ready to go? We should leave now if we don’t want to be late.” He checks his watch, the flash of the Richard Mille in the harsh lights shocking you back into reality and back into that ever-present, magnetic awareness of the man you almost gave in to not even five minutes ago.
But you can’t look back. Stepping out into the hallway, you flash Charles a gentle smile, tipping your head forward and letting your hair hide the nerves you’re sure are written all over your face. He slides his hand over your hip, bringing you in close, and you swear that you can still feel the burn of Max’s touch, feel the urge to yank up your dress and see how irrevocably he has branded you.
The click of the door swinging shut behind you doesn’t feel as final as it should. And even as you exit the elevator and walk through the bustling foyer of the hotel, tucked firmly into Charles’ side, you’ve never felt more conscious of the pull of blue depths, of the drowning pleasure and molten fervour of the man who wanted to be your last.

“You look so pretty with it,” he breathed out, letting his forehead rest against yours in a desperate attempt to keep himself upwards. The buttery texture of the silk against his fingers made him gulp. The way the fabric fell down your body, touching your skin in ways he craved to do as well lit a fire inside of him he seemed to be unable to put out.
You sighed in satisfaction, toes curling in excitement as his calloused hands trailed up your legs, bunching the fabric of your dress until he reached your hips.
His hands were warm, they made you shiver as his thumbs played with the lace on the hem of your underwear. He would pretend to dip his fingers, waiting for you to sigh in relief before pulling away, subjecting you to the same gruelling teasing he was often the victim of.
“Keep it on for me, please.” He begged, words fueled by the unquenchable thirst prompted just by experiencing you.
You bit your lip to hide the whine bubbling in your throat, fervently nodding as his hands ghosted over your panties, teasing your clit by applying gentle pressure with one of his knuckles. “Just be careful with it.”
He hummed in response, whispering a needy thank you before he gave you a quick peck, followed by another and another, pulling giggles from the two of you.
Time seemed to slow down as you watched him kneel before you, eyes blown with lust and hunger, looking up at you like you were his last meal.
Once again, you fervently nodded as he wordlessly asked for permission to pull your panties down, nudging your waist with his nose while, once again, playing with the hem.
He hooked his fingers over the lace, pulling on it and letting go, making you flinch in satisfaction and conjuring another whine from you. Every sound that fell from your lips only served to further his desire, dick hardening inside his pants as he desperately held back the urge to rut against your body.
Giving a kiss to your clit over the fabric followed by a tentative lick, he basked in the grip you had on his hair. Soft yet commanding, even in the position you were in you guided him wherever you wanted, and he followed with no complaints.
He gave your clothed core one last kiss, gently sucking at the covered nub before peeling the soaked fabric from your skin, with a gentle grip on your calf as he helped you get it completely off.
“Fuck, you're dripping.” He sighed in contentment, licking his lips as one of his fingers toyed with your entrance, collecting your wetness before sucking on his digit, groaning in delight. “You taste so good.”
Slowly, he gave your pussy another tentative lick, taking his time to savour your arousal and letting it pool on his tongue. Moving upwards, one of his hands kept your hips still, glued against the wall as he sucked on your clit. His other hand made their way back to your entrance, two digits curling upwards the moment they had sunk inside your walls. He let your moans wash over him, basking on the indirect price before speaking
“You're so good to me,” his breath tickled your sensitive skin, making your hips stutter in his hold. “Can feel you squeezing my fingers”
The closer you pulled him in, the more enjoyment he got out of eating you out, Eagerly lapping at your juices. Feeling the way you desperately rutted against his face, tongue permanently enveloped by the taste of you, with his nose buried against your skin along with his fingers deep inside your cunt; it only made him up his rhythm.
“Shin I–“ your voice cracked, unable to hold back the moan that ripped from your throat. The man kneeling in front of you hummed in acknowledgement, patting the side of your thigh so you could rest his leg over his shoulder. He needed you impossibly closer. “Shin, if you don’t stop, I'm gonna– Aah! Fuck, Shin, you're gonna make me cum.”
“Cum then.” He mumbled, the sound muffled as he continued with his ministrations, effortlessly licking and sucking, hitting all the right spots as if he had them memorised. “‘Need you to cum on my face.”
Your pussy clenched around his fingers at his words and the grip you had on his hair simultaneously tightened. With the leg he had placed/thrown over his shoulder, you pulled him closer, making him groan.
“I’m–“ you whimpered, interrupting yourself as your mouth went dry, your thighs quivering. Your shoulders sagged against the wall, head lolling to the side as your breath tried to even itself out. His own breathless pants added to the blissful sensation, puffs of air warm against your sensitive clit.
A lazy smile stretched on your face while you brushed your hand through his messy locks, taking in the sight of his cheek pressing against your inner thigh, skin flushed and overly warm, making a few strands of his hair stick to his forehead. He hummed in satisfaction as he willingly melted at your warmth, like he had been the one tipped over the edged
“That was good right?” He asked, voice buttery and laced with buzzing ease. He looked up at you through lidded doe eyes, the corners of his lips curling upwards into a soft smile. His pretty black orbs glistened along with his puffy lips under the dimmed lights in your bedroom. the more you kept looking at them the more you wanted to get a taste of you directly from his tongue.
You raked your fingers through his hair once again, basking in the way he melted against your touch, before you gently pulled on the strands, motioning him upwards.
Now standing, he rested his forehead against yours and you let the puffs of air leaving his lips caress your skin. His chest rose and fell in tandem with your own heartbeat, and for a moment you swore you could feel his desperation cursing down through your bloodstream.
The neediness he embodied was otherworldly, letting his body speak not through words but through its motions. And it was there, mere inches from a kiss, that you finally let out a previously contained whimper, mumbling ‘so good, you're so good’ with as much need of your own, before the two of you were crashing against each other in a synchronised yet desperate rhythm.
Hands everywhere, scrunching fabric and pulling it off while simultaneously trying to get a hold of every inch of skin available to the touch. The two of you could barely contain the muffled giggles at each other's clumsiness. But You couldn’t help it, just existing so close to Shinichiro felt like another brand of honey-like sweetness you couldn't describe.
He was quick to peel your underwear off your body, helping you step out of the garment before he worked on the zipper of his jeans; the strain of his pants had become too much for him, causing an uncomfortable yet pleasurable friction against his clothed member that almost forced a moan out of him once he pulled them off.
Pearlescent beads of precum dribbled down the reddened tip. He was drooling all for you, and it took all of your willpower not to get down on your knees and clean him up with your tongue. The two of you had other plans for the night, which you were quickly reminded of as he pressed his dick against your bare pussy, letting the tip press against your nub before dragging it downwards to your entrance, over and over again until the two of you were covered in a mess of both of your juices.
“Stop teasing,” you pressured through a shaky breath. By now, your head had settled in the crook of his neck, giving you the perfect view of your bodies sliding against each other. The sight in front of you forced you to swallow down a whimper, shutting your eyes close as the head nudged the hood of your clit.
“I– I can’t–” He panted, cheeks turning darker as he stumbled with the moan brewing inside his throat. “It feels so– so good like this I can’t stop.”
“C’mon Shin,” it was your turn to whine. It was unusual for your boyfriend to lose himself in his own pleasure, preferring to put yours over his any day. But whenever it happened, it was almost like his mind emptied itself until the only prevailing thought was to cum. “You always look so pretty inside of me, don’t you wanna see?”
He nodded desperately, biting down on his bottom lip with enough force to break the supple skin. If it weren’t for you putting pressure against it, you think he would’ve. And to your satisfaction, he let your finger enter his mouth without resistance, pulling you as close as possible before lining up against your entrance.
At that exact moment he swore he could cum solely from the pressure of his tip being wrapped around your sticky warmth, one of his hands pressing against the wall to keep himself upright. Everything around him felt too good to be real, and for less than a couple of seconds his brain seemed to have deluded itself into believing he was actually dreaming. Almost angelical, you looked so beautiful, so pretty taking his cock inch by inch until he had fully sheathed himself inside.
You wrapped your leg around his waist at the intrusion, the silky material of the dress scrunching against your waist and adding to the heightened sensation. His whole existence was permeated with a thick layer of want. You could feel it in his touch, his breath, his whimpers. You could feel it sizzling as you left wet kisses behind his ear and down his neck. You could feel it whenever his hips stutter inside of you, fighting against his own will to maintain a constant rhythm.
Nudging his cheek with your nose, you grabbed his face with your hand to keep him steady for a couple of seconds, leaving a couple of pecks on his lips and giggling along with him whenever he tried to sloppily kiss you back.
“More,” you mumbled, “‘want more.”
And like the good boyfriend he was, he followed through.
Almost like drunk in you, he quickened his pace like his only goal was to make you feel good. Two of his slender fingers made their way towards your clit, ghosting over where you needed them the most and waiting for you to whine before he started rubbing soft circles over it.
The squelching noises of both your bodies were borderline pornographic; louder and louder with which thrust and groan and whimper. And like you had mentioned, and in spite of the word sounding out of place within the confinements of your shared obscenity, the view of him inside of you was beyond pretty.
Or at least, that’s what Wakasa thought while he fisted his own cock, peering from behind the thin strip that had been left ajar; by mistake or not, he didn’t care, it was all for him to observe.

as someone who is also trying to overhaul their entire wardrobe after throwing out fast fashion pieces,, do you have any specific brands you like, advice on places to get clothes for long-term wear, etc? ty!!
thank you for asking! this is a long post but it's been my life for a bit now so i would suggest reading through it to skip the learning stages that i went through the hard way! there is some important and useful info here :) brand recs at the end
i would suggest looking for vintage or secondhand clothes first and foremost bc that's how you can find quality pieces for a reasonable price :)
if you want pure longevity, synthetics like polyester, nylon, elastane, etc will last not only your lifetime but your grandchildrens' too. they can be quite comfortable sometimes BUT:
they will likely break down in hundreds of years
they are NOT biodegradable and so will break down into microplastics and toxic microfibers
for me and a lot of others, you will notice the difference in quality in synthetics vs fabrics like cotton and virgin wool. i refuse to buy synthetics for the above reasons but also bc they just Feel Worse idk how to explain iykyk (tip especially valuable for autistic ppl)
brands: all depend on style so look for the styles you like/want to dress in on pinterest, then track down the original designer of the dress! from there you can search irl places or plug the designers into apps like:
vinted: cheaper vintage or second hand clothes from all sorts of brands
vestiare collective: more high-end, pieces are authenticated and usually in great condition
GEM: a gem of a site truly, accumulates all the finds from your search from different websites like ebay, etc
depop: honestly not the biggest fan but can be good sometimes! make sure to buy vintage/secondhand and ask sellers for the brand to not get sold an aliexpress dupe for 100 bucks
vintage shops: especially good for accessories like belts and ties. vintage shops usually have much better stuff than charity shops
kilo sales: THE BEST PLACES IRL in my opinion i got a 2k+ virgin wool coat for £20 . honestly in my experience kilo sales are great. check out Worth the Weight if you're in the UK!
remember that brand history matters! for example vivienne westwood has a great reputation as luxury punk but the pieces produced in recent years are actually very low in quality, defintely not worth the money for a lot of people! pay for quality, not just the name :) same goes for jean paul gaultier's recent pieces imo.
additional VERY USEFUL tips:
the standard zipper used by most of the companies making your garments is YKK. if you look at any zipper you're wearing rn and inspect it closely chances are you'll see YKK engraved on it. before buying a piece check that it has opti or riri zippers - this is some indication of a higher quality
one of the first things to do before buying a piece is to immediately check the materials it's made of!! the tag detailing materials is usually towards the bottom of the garment . i immediately dismiss things that have higher than 5% synthetics but i'm just rly picky w materials
EACH MATERIAL HAS DIFFERENT USES !!! BUT GENERALLY: virign wool is the best kind of wool, full-grain leather is better than most other kinds of leather, mulberry silk is better than other kinds of silk
brand recs:
yohji yamamoto, yehufan (i own a skirt by him!!), marina eerrie, ann demeulemeester, jw anderson, solovair for shoes (much better than docs), maison (martin) margiela (esp artisanal line 0), miu miu (i wear their beret i thrifted for £15 almost every day), valentino esp pre 2021 , lemaine , undercover older pieces , early raf simons , ...honestly there's a lot, if you need more send another ask or DM :)
p.s. if u can go runway shows etc go to the sample sales afterwards sometimes the pieces there are gorgeous !! but sometimes v pricey :')
all recommendations and advice, don't take my word as gospel and defintely do your own research + formulate ur own opinions ! hope this helps ♡

Is organic cotton the future of sustainable development?
With the increase in climate change and global warming, each step taken by us matters, be it even by transforming our cotton closet into an organic cotton closet.
We are living in a time, where each step will either lead to an immense increase in global warming or will lead to the protection of Mother Earth. So why not make our actions count and take a step by protecting our nature by switching to organic clothing?!
As we know, the fashion industry is one of the largest industries of today, in which cotton textiles lead the line together with cotton manufacturing setting them as the highest-ranked in the fashion industry. These pieces of regular cotton constructed into garments lead to 88% more wastage of water from our resources.
Whereas Organic Cotton which has been made from natural seeds and handpicked to maintain the purity of fibers; uses 1,982 fewer gallons of water compared to regular cotton.
Gallons of water used by:
Regular cotton: 2168 gallons
Organic Cotton: 186 gallons
Due to the increase in market size of the fashion industry every year along with the cotton industry; regular cotton is handpicked by workers to keep up with the increase in demand for regular cotton and because these crops are handpicked it leads to various damages and crises such as:
Damage of fibers: As regular cotton is grown as mono-crop it destroys the soil quality, which exceeds the damage when handpicked by the farmers, leading to the destruction of fibers because of the speed and time limit ordered.
Damage to crops: Regular cotton leads to damage to crops when it is handpicked, as not much attention is paid while plucking it in bulk, due to which all the effort, time, and resources used to cultivate the crops drain out to zero.
Water wastage: The amount of clean water being depleted to produce regular cotton is extreme which might lead to a water crisis. The Clean water when used for manufacturing turns into toxic water that is disposed into freshwater bodies, causing a hazardous impact on the people deprived of this natural resource.
Wastage of resources: When all the above-mentioned factors are ignored by the manufacturers and the farmers, it directly leads to the waste of resources, as the number of resources used to produce regular cotton is way high in number when compared to the results in the end.
Regular cotton along with these damages also demands to use of chemical dyes for their further process, which is not only harmful to our bodies but is also very dangerous to the workers exposed to it, as these chemicals lead to many health problems like earring aids, lunch cancer, skin cancer, eczema and many more, other than that people can also lose their lives when exposed to these chemicals for long other than people can also lose their lives when exposed to these chemicals for long.

what advice do you have for building a classy, dark energy, femme wardrobe on a budget?
I LOVE these expensive brands I see (YSL, Balenciaga, Jimmy Choo, etc.) but I'm trying to save money for more important things right now.
(plus I can't afford lots of super high end brands on a regular basis, as I'm sure most of us can't lol).
How can I "find dupes" for lack of a better term for these bougie brands I love, or what tips do you have for looking classy and highend on a budget (fashion wise anyway)?
Thanks xoxo
Hi love! I would say the main thing to do is pay attention to fabrics and stitching of garments.
Overall construction matters considerably more than the name on the tag when it comes to building a "high-end" wardrobe. Some fabrics to look for include: 100% cashmere, Pima/Supima cotton/organic cotton, merino wool, genuine leather, and/mulberry silk.
Pay attention to the stitching/buttons or accents on garments. Make sure there are no gaps or loose threads. Look for lined or double-lined items. Darker garments tend to look more expensive. Stick to neutral colors and classic silhouettes for a more "elevated" look.
Some more "affordable" brands (in the mostly $100-$300 range) I love include:
The Frankie Shop
Pixie Market
Massimo Dutti
Manière De Voir
Lilysilk
Reformation
Naadam
Sézane
GAP
Express (for bodysuits/trousers)
Banana Republic
Everlane (the Supima basic tops are great for the price)
Personally, my favorite way to save money on high-end clothes is to use sites like TheOutnet or YOOX and shop the sales sections of designer retailers like Farfetch, Luisa Via Roma, Saks, FWRD, etc. to get the same quality of clothing for less.
Hope this helps xx

Words: 1.5 k
+++
Her hands were roaming all over his torso, Sam’s own hands tangling into the princess’s hair. While their exchange was intimate, it was far from tender. Her nails dug mulberry lines along his sinews, his grip in her hair hard enough to sting. Teeth nipped at available flesh, lips nearly splitting open at the force. It was clear to any passer-by that this was indeed a passionate exchange, but the kind of passion found in a fist-fight. This was pure anger being taken out on each other.
Princess Y/N finally settled her hands onto the front of his Chiton, fisting the thin silk in her grasp and using it to manipulate the prince to wherever she wanted him to be. At that moment, it seemed she wanted him pinning her against the table. In order to keep his balance, he placed both of his hands on either side of her and caged her in. Sitting on the table, she wrapped her legs around his waist in order to pull him in closer. Their mouths never severed, continuing their battle.
Samuel knew what to do next, his handful of previous experiences providing him the framework. Detaching from her lips, he then latched his lips onto her neck. She let out a pathetic noise as his teeth nipped into her skin, her legs involuntarily flexing against him. Sam trailed his hands down the sides of her torso, sliding them beneath the fabric of her Chiton and pushing it up to her waist. Once it was out of the way, Sam detached his lips from her neck, sinking down to his knees.
There was a moment where he glanced up at her to make sure that what he was about to do was ok, her subtly nodding her approval. He may wish that she never drew breath within a day’s ride distance of him ever again, but he was far from a monster. With permission granted, Samuel sank right into her. He would never grow tired of such an experience, feeling close to the gods in this position. Using his tongue, he began lapping at her folds, each flick of his tongue emitting a different whine from her as if she were an instrument he was playing. He locked his arms around her thighs, keeping her in place as he went in deeper. Sam then attached his entire mouth onto her core, earning a soul-deep cry from the princess.
Her hands gripped mercilessly at his hair, attempting to ground herself in any way she could as the prince attempted to send her to Olympus. He did not stop. This was not about her. No. This was about Samuel. This was about nothing but his own pure enjoyment. This was about him being able to prove that he could reduce the princess to nothing but a needy brat. He was able to strip her of all her dignity and pride by solely using his tongue and lips and this was him showing her as such. He was sowing the seeds for the future, showcasing just what he was capable of turning her into so that he could use this to his advantage in the future.
Was it devious? Purely. But what was a future king if he did not possess strategy and forethought.
“Samuel… oh, GODS!!” The princess threw her head back, her hips bucking up into his mouth as she neared the edge. Recognizing the signs, Sam pulled away.
Princess Y/N whined pathetically before she even could comprehend what had just occurred, only knowing that her orgasm had been ripped away from her at the very last second. Petulantly, she glared down at her husband only to find him smugly smirking back at her. His lips were bright pink and shining with both his own saliva and her slick, the very visage making her core flutter. It annoyed her to no end what he was able to do to her with only a single glance.
“That was cruel,” she stated, the words coming out breathy as she struggled for air.
“That was entertainment, darling,” the prince retorted, hearing the smugness in his own words.
“You think this amusing, do you?” the princess asked, her annoyance growing and showing on her features.
With an arrogant chuckle, Samuel simply tapped at her sensitive core with his pointer finger. She winced at the contact, the prince watching with dark amusement as her folds clenched needily at the smallest touch.
“Endlessly.”
With a growl, Princess Y/N took hold of Sam’s arms and ripped them off her so that she was freed from his grasp. Using the element of surprise she now had over Samuel, she lunged forward and tackled him to the ground. The prince was left disoriented as she climbed atop him.
“I despise you,” she growled right before capturing his lips once again. It seemed she was unable to refrain from moaning at the taste of herself against the prince’s tongue. All Sam could do was chuckle at how the evening was unfolding. She was slowly becoming as malleable as clay in his hands.
It all took a turn when Princess Y/N threw her leg over Samuel’s waist, straddling him as if she were mounting a saddle. It was his turn to begin crying out, the shifting of her hips against his sensitive cock all but making him sing. The power dynamic shifted within the blink of an eye, the prince knowing he had sealed his fate just from the glint in her eye.
“What was that about entertainment?” she snarkily threw back at him, a smirk of her own growing against her lips.
Samuel threw his head back with an annoyed huff. Who was she to use his own words against him as such? With the absence of his response, the princess laughed in amusement as she continued to grind her hips into his.
“Da-” The prince bit down on his lip, preventing the moan from slipping past his lips. His hands flew to her waist, attempting to anchor himself in the present and keep her in place. He knew the grip he held onto her flesh was likely to leave discolored marks, but he was not able to find it within himself to care.
“You cry out so pretty, your highness.” The princess stopped briefly so that she could remove the layers of silk that prevented true contact between them. In a mirror of what Sam did moments before, she bunched up his Chiton around his waist. However, she fully removed her own garment as it would simply get in the way.
The prince winced as she took hold of his cock, the simple touch enough to elicit such a reaction out of him due to his sensitivity. However, that touch would pale in comparison to the pure overstimulation that her walls clenching around him would give elicit. Hardly in control of his actions, he began clutching at any part of her that he could. His mouth hung open in a silent scream, his brows knitting together as his eyes pinched closed.
Sam’s eyes snapped open, however, when he felt a hand caress his face. He opened them to find nothing but condescension in his wife’s eyes and smile. “You are much more tolerable in this state.”
Now full of spite, Samuel used his grip on the princess’s waist and thrusted up into her. The surprised moan that ripped out of her throat was music to Sam’s ears. However, before he could fully have his hands on the reins once again, Princess Y/N planted her hands onto his chest and began bouncing her hips up and down along the prince’s shaft.
The two royals were locked in a battle of wills. Each wanted the other to be the one to cave first which resulted in some of the most intense sensations either had ever experienced. Samuel felt as if pure fire burned in his blood, from hatred or carnal desire he could not infer.
He did not mean to. In fact, at the start of this little exchange, he made a vow to himself in his mind. However, in the heat of the moment, something as miniscule as a vow to oneself was hardly at the forefront of his mind.
Samuel caved first, gripping onto the princess’s hips so hard as to stop her movement completely as he filled her caverns with his release. The noise he let out in the moment was the most pathetic thing to ever befall his ears, purely primal in nature. His wife followed soon after, the two of them panting as exhaustion seeped into their bones.
“You are despicable,” the princess hissed after removing herself from Samuel.
“Yes, and you are an absolute delight to be in company with,” he retorted, picking himself up off the floor. He felt disgusted with himself to have caved like he did.
There was no use in expending mental energy on it now. It was in the past and nothing he could do would change what had happened. As Samuel would come to learn, his actions have consequences.

Here we go, fibre haul! You guys ready?
Tumblr media
So all of these lovely bits of floof were purchased from The Fiber Imp.
Tumblr media
The owner is so nice, I thought I'd give them a little shout out so you guys can buy any floof you like the look of here:
Most of the nerdy stuff I am sourcing my info from is a site called NWyarns.com which has great indepth info in the histories of many breeds of sheep and how they became the sheep we have today.
If I grab info from another website then I'll mention it specifically but otherwise this all comes from NWyarns.
Now let's dig in shall we?
First up, we have Rocky Mountain Skies
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This one is commercially dyed and all 100% merino.
Domesticated in Mesopotamia sometime between 11,000 and 9,000 BCE
If you were not select royalty you were pretty much out of luck – there were no legitimate ways for the average sheep farmer to get a prized Merino ram or ewe until about the first decade into the 1800s. However, there were certainly illegitimate ways. Paying someone to smuggle Merino sheep out of Spain offered the chance of a prized ram or ewe. Certainly that is how the U.K. acquired their first Merino sheep (4 rams and 2 ewes), which Sir Robert Banks paid some enterprising business person to smuggle out of Spain via Portugal.
However, more often than not, it appears that the people purchasing Merinos through less than legitimate means during this time frame were either getting scammed or simply provided with any Spanish sheep that smugglers could manage to get out of Spain.
Merino is renowned for its fineness and elasticity, which can be made into woven, knitted, crocheted or felted wool fabrics that can be very comfortably worn directly against the skin. Merino is graded to a variety of micron widths including Superfine (17.6-18.5 microns), Fine or Extrafine (18.6-19.5 microns), Fine Medium (19.6-20.5 microns) and Medium (20.6-22.5 microns). Unless otherwise specified, you will find that most merino available in commercial clothing and most yarns is in the Fine Medium to Medium range. However, even though the Fine Medium and Medium Merino is the most common, it is by no means coarse! 22.5 microns is still quite fine, and extremely comfortable to wear directly against your skin.
Next up is Spellbound
Tumblr media Tumblr media
75% 18.5 Micron Merino / 25% Mulberry Silk
This next bit of info comes from Casper.com:
Mulberry silk comes from the Morus Alba tree.
Originating in China over 5,000 years ago, “sericulture” is the ancient process of spinning silk.
Mulberry silk is made from the cocoon of the Bombyx mori moth. Before metamorphosis, the caterpillar feeds exclusively on the white mulberry leaf.
Smoother and stronger than any other silk in the world, mulberry silk is a textile powerhouse. Famous for its durability and lightweight quality, mulberry silk is able to retain up to a third of its weight in moisture. Because of this, it doesn’t emit a smell when damp and doesn’t need to be left out to dry for a long amount of time, making it relatively easy to manage.
Au Naturel
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Undyed blend of superfine merino, dark brown alpaca, mulberry silk and baby camel.
Alpaca:
Alpacas are in the camelid family -- the same biological family as camels and llamas.
Although they can be found around the world today, alpacas originated in the Andes mountain range of South America. They are descended from vicuña, a wild camelid native to South America, in the Andes mountain range.  The domestication of the alpaca for fiber and meat began up to 6000 years ago, with the people who lived in the Andes.
Alpaca hairs are hollow, making it a go-to fiber for crafters and manufacturers who are looking for softness with superior insulating properties. It is also surprisingly strong for such a soft, fluffy fiber.
Alpaca fiber comes in various qualities, ranging from fibers nearly as soft and luxurious as cashmere to lower quality fibers with a similar texture to fine wool. Most yarn and spinning fiber available relies on the high quality, fine alpaca. It is more difficult to find coarser alpaca, as there is little demand for it in North America. Alpaca is also hypoallergenic, making it very popular for people with skin sensitivities.
This next bit is from SpinoffMagazine regarding the Bactrian camel:
Bactrian camels have two humps and are found primarily in Mongolia and China.
Bactrians are the source for the soft down we associate with fine camel hair garments. Their fiber naturally sheds and can be combed away or gathered as it falls.
While the website for the Cashmere and Camel Hair Manufacturers states that Bactrian camels produce as much as 17 to 22 pounds of fiber annually, other sources cite amounts as low as 5 pounds. The higher amounts probably include both hair and down.
The outer coat and mane hair is long (12 inches or more) and coarse. It protects the animal from the elements, shedding dirt and water. The fine undercoat is much shorter, averaging 1 to 5 inches long, although it usually measures less than 3 inches in length. Some of the fiber shortness in commercial camel preparations may result from the dehairing process. The micron counts (fiber diameter) for camel fiber have a huge range. While the down averages 20 to 23 microns (similar to Merino wool), it can be as fine as the finest cashmere.
Samples from some United States Bactrian camel hair that had all the outer coat fibers removed ranged from 6 to 120 microns, with most of the sample measuring 18 to 19 microns. Camel hair has some crimp and a small amount of elasticity.
When working with the fiber in batt form (a cloud of carded fiber), I simply peel off thin layers of fiber.
Rovings (strands of carded fiber with a small amount of twist) and top (strands of long fibers in parallel arrangement) require no further preparation although they are sometimes easier to spin when split into narrower strips.
Because the camel fiber is short, thin strands of roving or top will probably drift apart if you try to predraft. You can also prepare for a lightweight yarn by handcarding the down fiber from any form into rolags.
This next bit of fibre is what pulled me into the shop in the first place, Dragon's Breath
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Bamboo:
In the late 19th century, the first semi-synthetic fiber in history was invented – viscose rayon! Known as artificial silk until its rebranding as rayon in 1924, rayon has become a significant part of our fiber landscape.
In the yarn and fiber world, we most frequently run into rayon when it is labeled as bamboo or viscose.
More recently, you can also buy viscose rayon labeled as rose fiber (having been sourced from the cellulose of rose bushes), or even purchase viscose rayon fiber that comes from seaweed.
While these fibers are often advertised as eco-friendly because they come from plants, that is not necessarily the case.
It has had a history of adverse health effects on the workers involved in its manufacture right up to the present day.
A short and somewhat abbreviated version of viscose rayon production goes something like this.
All rayon begins with pure cellulose. This cellulose is treated with a caustic soda, and goes through a number of curing processes and chemical treatments, including a process called Xanthanation in which it is mixed with carbon disulfide. The resulting material is dried and ground into a powder, and is dissolved in yet another caustic solution to form the viscose, the viscous solution from which viscose rayon receives its name. Allowed to stand for a period of time, the viscose solution is strained and then extruded through spinnerets, which land in a bath of sulfuric acid, forming rayon fiber. The fiber is then washed to remove any residual chemicals and make it safe for the wearer.
By the time rayon fiber and fabric hits the market, there are no traces of any chemicals that could harm the person wearing it. The same can’t necessarily be said for the factory workers, either in the past or today.
They go into more detail if you want to dig in further but I will need to research more myself before I commit to further bamboo purchases.
I will continue this in part 2!
