Trollhunters Season 3, the re-watch

Because I can’t leave well enough alone. But, honestly...

Who could?

- two seconds in and there’s a light like a SPACESHIP CRASHING

- she tells him not to slow down for her and he listens, like a boss

- AAARRRGGHH is very verbose in this season, more and more as it goes on

- I totally thought that the Hammes guy’s house was going to be a central location for fight scenes, since it’s the only place without warding signs up, but nope

- “What brings you here, and what’ll make you go away”

- Jim legit growled, I’m still shaky on him being fully human in the first place

- “Jim, as a Trollhunter you’ve been awful.” best pep-talk ever there, Blinky

- Gunmar’s fascination with yeeting every thing and every one

- Usurna is totes jealous of the Pale Lady

fun reminder that AAARRRGGHH, sweet cinnamon bun, is actually terrifying

- IT”S THE FUZZ

- Barbara has to be stretching her own canvases because those things are HUGE and pre-made canvases are expensive as fuck

- Is Mr Benoit literally the only restaurant in town

- Morgana is having such a fun time being evil and I love it

- ‘I’ll wear your spine as my crown, peasant!’ is my new go-to threat

- Morgana been living in a crystal for too long, she’s gotten a bit weird

- yes, Blinky, let’s gag her with a sock or a BASEBALL BAT

- the use of slow-motion in this entire show is so well-done

- I’m trying to kill you/ I thought the date was going well!

- They actually did the “I’m Starlord” “Who?” thing!

- Jim taking the time to point out that the mess in Claire’s house is not his fault this time

- Not!Enrique legit knocked Morgana on her ass

- Morgana just humming ‘In the Hall of the Mountain King’

- “No!” “Yes!” at least they’re honest

- Dictatious being huggy

- Did they tell the Nunez’s about Not!Enrique, cause he’s sitting right beside them there

- will Nana learn about and meet Arthur-san again

- did Nana ask ‘where is Arthur-san’ when Toby came home without him at the end of the first season, and how long did Toby cry? I need to know this. I’m gonna write it.

- Claire that is not how you plant a fucking seed

- they get cell service in Merlin’s tomb???

- Angry Rock is one of those ‘I told you so!’ guys, really

- HE ATE THE FUCKING CAT

- the part where Gunmar pushes his face up to Barbara’s, someone is going to ship this and it aint gonna be me, but if there ever was a three-second shot capable of making an unexpected crack-ship, it was this one

- I need an AU where Merlin is actually Jim who traveled back in time, became a wizard, called himself Merlin once he figured out what tf was going on, and had to later convince his younger self of this plan

- the music

- Jim reeling in all of the memories

- I’m not over it, this was the most heartbreaking scene

- AND THEN AAARRRGGHH is SO HAPPY

- Who are these river trolls, so gentle, so sweet

- A SON I”M STILL NOT OVER IT

- AAARRRGGHH’s little ‘help’ when he puts Blinky on the roof but still has to haul himself up too

- Blinky knows just how to deal with an angsty teenager

- that’s it, all feelings are cancelled

- Toby is a total badass in this season, he fights like a pro and gets in a lot of really cool moves

- Merlin must have known that Jim couldn’t kill Morgana with the sword and armor, so what exactly was he playing at?

- Steve and Eli’s hero crush on Nomura

- Merlin you useless fuck

- Gunmar be like ‘I told you I would kill you myself’ which is exactly his problem. If he hadn’t been so insistent on either breaking Jim’s will first or allowing his minions to kill him, he would have won long ago, but noooooo, he has to do it under specific circumstances, he has to be picky about how he defeats his enemy, which is why Gunmar is a dumbass

Blinky you fucking dweeb

- A fucking HUlked a Gumm-Gumm

- AAARRRGGHH is commander of an army again, and it’s ghost Trollhunters! He’s the general of the ghost Trollhunters army!

- Unkar is still Unfortunate

- FOR DRAAL

- Angry Rock could have just stabbed Morgana in the face instead of punching her and everything would have worked out, but noooooo

You can see the moment where he changes his mind and it’s awesome

- Claire kicking Morgana’s ass, as is fitting.

- The eternal night is literally just a bunch of clouds
