Two things that I thought I should mention:

Firstly, I’m finished with school and exams for the semester, so until I get a summer job, I’ve got no obligations whatsoever. I can sleep in until noon every day and catch up on all the art I said I’d do.

Secondly, since I’ve got so much free time on my hands, I’ve been watching a lot of cartoons and - for some reason - have decided to watch a whole bunch of old DCAU episodes. I’ve already watched most of my favourites - “Wild Cards” from Justice League, “Beware the Creeper” and “The Demon Within” from Batman: The Animated Series and “Fun and Games” from Superman: The Animated Series - but I plan on watching a whole lot more. If any of you have any episodes you want to recommend, please do so! I like the DCAU as much as the next girl, but I don’t know the episodes off the top of my head. (I mostly watched ‘em in re-runs, so...)

These are non fanfiction things I would love to receive: Art/podfic of any of my fics (and any kind of art, like moodboards/edits, manips, actual art, video trailers, etc.) would be, like, the best of the best, but generally I would be happy with absolutely anything.

Your recipient has asked that you avoid: Anything angsty, incest in the fandoms I have where it's a thing, non-con/rape and heavy violence. I'm also only fond of smut with a few select ships so probably nothing higher than R rated across the board?

[ Okay, first of all, yes, Ollie ABSOLUTELY asks Wildcat's permission to marry Dinah, one hundred percent.

Second of all, Wildcat is a little confused at first and insists that Ollie should be talking to Dinah's parents about all this, before launching into a lengthy speech about how he'll track Ollie down and beat him up if he doesn't treat Dinah right.

It takes an hour and a half before he finally gives Ollie his blessing. ]

[ Q claims to be above petty competitions. That doesn't stop him from keeping track of the number of henchmen he's defeated and comparing numbers with Ollie. ]

[📂 Q and family/kids either from his previous experience (family of origin and being a kid) or a future family or children]

[ My thoughts on this particular topic are kind of jumbled, so here's a bunch of half-baked ideas:

Grew up in an orphanage, much like in the Denny O'Neil series.

Was kind of a difficult kid. Blunt, insubordinate and too smart for his own good. Not the easiest guy to get along with.

Doesn't really have a strong sense of family or community, since he didn't get along with his caregivers, and feels ill-equipped to deal with domestic affairs as a result. (Basically, he thinks he'd be a bad dad.) ]

📂 concerning the Question and cars

[ Since you asked so nicely, I'm giving you three semi-related headcanons:

Q does all his own auto work, as he doesn't trust mechanics with his car.

His car has been towed on two separate occasions due to its lack of license plates.

As Vic Sage, he takes taxis to get to his day job. ]

[ 📂 Q and food. Favorite food, least favorite food, ability to cook, best takeout place, etc?]

[ Here's a couple, just off the top of my head:

Favourite food is jerky (easy to eat on the go)

Least favourite... probably mango (too sweet for him)

Mediocre cook (hence all the takeout), decent baker

Frequents corner stores almost as often as all-night diners (the mini-mart down the street from his apartment makes the BEST trail mix)

[ Sometimes Etrigan’s speech patterns... bleed over into Jason Blood. It’s completely involuntary and only happens in times of extreme stress, but every now and then, Blood will start speaking in rhyme. He hates it. ]

[ Maxie Zeus believes that he and Wonder Woman are related, though exactly how they’re related varies from moment to moment. Most of the time he thinks of her as his niece, but he’s been known to call her his cousin, his sister and even his daughter. Batman is looking into getting Maxie’s medicine adjusted. ]

[ Helena is not a “good” Catholic by any stretch of the imagination, but she makes a point of going to church on Christmas and Easter. Sometimes Vic accompanies her. He’s not really sure he believes in her god, but he does his best to support her. ]

[ Funky Flashman once set up a booth outside Metro Tower, where he sold bootleg Mr. Miracle t-shirts for fifty bucks a pop. It took the combined efforts of Atom Smasher, Orion and Steel to get him to close up shop. ]

[ Toyman and Baby Doll absolutely despise each other. Toyman hates Baby for being able to live out the childhood that he never had, and Baby thinks Toyman’s an emotionally stunted creep who’s taking adulthood for granted. ]

[now I’m picturing Q saving Lois from Intergang and she goes home later and asks Supes if he know a “faceless guy in a cheap trench coat” and just sighs in exhaustion because now he has to introduce them properly]

[ …I’m very tempted to make that canon. Like, actually make that how Lois and Q first met in this continuity. 

She just happened to get a little too close to her story - as she so often does - and he just happened to be around to save her when one of Bruno Mannheim’s goons pulled a gun on her.

Naturally, she gets curious and asks Supes about him, and Supes spends a couple moments massaging his temples before telling her, look, I’ll take you to the watchtower so you can meet my work friends, just don’t make a big deal out of it. 

And when he decides to follow up on that promise, he tells all the members of the League - Q especially - to make Lois feel at home and not say anything too weird. Q nods, greets Ms. Lane courteously and then promptly adds, “Oh, one weird thing is, did you know that the Girl Scouts are responsible for crop circles?” 

Cue Lois shooting Clark a look that reads okay, I’ve had enough, take me home, please. ]
