Tom/Harry/B’Elanna polycule having sex is not only a fun, good experience for everyone involved but also could be used a vessel of self exploration and healing - being made vulnerable and receiving nothing but desire, love and acceptance in turn. Chakotay/Janeway/Tuvok polycule having sex only makes things worse. These three people can and will have the most emotionally fraught sex of all time and they’ll all regret it deeply and they’ll all just do it again. Someone stop them.
