WARNING: ANOTHER UNHINGED RANT

Ouuuuughhhh I am not capable of being normal about the Ultimatum ending. Like on one hand it's one of my favorite scenes In the game just because of how tense and dramatic it feels and how it answers a lot of questions but man. It's the way there's no "good" version of it. The only reason why I usually choose to accept the deal is because their deaths are likely less painful that way 💀But it's the way you're locked in as soon as you get them both captured and then there's no getting out of it and auuuuughhhh

And then there's the fucking scene itself it's Kate's screams and the way she says "I always loved you" it makes me want to THROW UP I LOVE IT AND I HATE IT and and if you choose to try and call for help and he asks her to get the cops there and she asks where and then he just pauses and says "I don't know" and the line is cut FUCK It's such a hopeless situation and I keep dooming them to this end for clips I'm SORRY MY BELOVEDS TRULY AAAAAARGGGHHHH😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 and then there's the deaths themselves I mean do I even have to explain why the acid death is possibly the most brutal and disturbing death in the entire game and her screams ohhhh my god it's so awful and then suffocation by toxic gas Isn't a very fantastic way to go either and they both die slowly and painfully and I hate it I love them THEY DON'T DESERVE THIS
