Jack and Maddie find out about Ellie and Danny being phantom all at once.
They didn’t take it well.
They couldn’t accept it. They could never experiment on something that looked so much like their son. They couldn’t even bring themselves to hurt the “clone” she too looked just like Danny when he was younger.
Clearly the no good spook had to leave. They kick him out with nothing. Not even his phone.
With jazz in a summer program, sam and tucker out of town he has no where to go. He has to leave before they literally chase him out.
Ellie in her ever so helpful way just pats his shoulders. She has the perfect place to crash until he can get in contact with jazz or his friends.
She tells him all about the clone she met and how they bonded. About how she’d dropped by many times unannounced at his adoptive parents house. About how cool they were. They didn’t even care if she used her parents around them!
Out of all the ways the reveal could have happened he never expected to be sitting in a farmhouse with a plate of pie. He guesses the Kent’s are too bad.
They were even okay to let him stay there until he could figure out what to do next.

Imagine your F/O… but imagine them flawless.
Their dorky rambles you can’t help but pay close attention to, even if you have no idea what they’re about? Nope. The smirk you love so much, perhaps that chuckle of theirs? Forget it. All of those little “imperfections”: their tragic past, their cockiness, their flawed looks? None of that.
Except… It feels wrong now. This isn’t your F/O; this is a mundane, stereotypical, so-horribly-wrong shell.
You didn’t fall in love with a perfect being because your F/O is perfect to you. It’s a beautiful thing, isn’t it? To feel such a dedicated, yearning, unrelenting love for someone with their flaws, not despite them. Even if they can’t see it in themselves, you’d never dream of them being a regret or a mistake. Your F/O is just so imperfectly them.
… So why would your F/O ever wish for a “flawless” you?
Yes, all that was said about them in the paragraphs above applies to you. No matter how hard it may be to believe it, your F/O wants you with all your “burdens”. They want you through breakdowns and panic attacks, through triggers and relapses. They want to be your comfort, your light in the darkness, your strength.
They’re just so happy they get the honor of being with their beloved, someone who is so imperfectly you.

playing in the snow like bros
Sonic groaned as he trudged through the thick layer of snow on the ground. He had never been a fan of winter, it always made him so sleepy. Not to mention being cold is absolutely unbearable.
He spared a glance behind him at the fox kit that tagged along for this adventure, as he always did. The kid was struggling even more than his older friend with walking through the snow, being only a couple feet tall.
The boy was staring intently at the white powder covering the ground, deep in thought. Sonic has always wanted to know what went on in that six year old’s head. He knew the kid was a genius, but that was about it.
“Doin’ okay?” The teen called over his shoulder, startling the young fox. Sonic had only started talking a few months ago, it was still new for them.
“‘M okay!” Tails beamed up at the hedgehog, clearly trying to hide the fact he had forgotten his brother could speak. “I’ve just.. never seen snow b’fore.”
“Never seen snow?” Sonic repeated, stopping and turning to look at the younger, who shook his head to confirm he had never seen snow. “Never snowed on your island?” He still struggled to form proper sentences. Tails was helping him, though.
“Well, sure it snowed!” The kit looked back down at the fluffy snow, picking up a handful of it. Only to then tilt his hand so it fell back to the ground. “But I never got to really.. I’unno, study it I guess?” He shrugged and turned his attention back to his hero.
“I was too busy tryna stay warm.” Tails’s namesakes curled around him slightly at the mention of staying warm. The teen was always amused by how the fluffy appendages acted as if they had their own mind.
“Ya never play in it?” Sonic questioned, walking a few steps closer before crouching down to be at the younger’s height.
“Nope,” Tails shook his head, popping the ‘p’ as he started rocking back and forth on his heels, arms swinging by his side. Something he did when they stood in one spot for a minute, Sonic noticed.
The teen hummed in thought as he looked at the snow around them. The kit tilted his head to the side, his tails twitching ever so slightly as he waited for the older’s next move.
Feeling the sudden urge to be annoying, Sonic smirked and looked to his right. There was a fairly big pile of snow there, which is just what he needed.
“Guess ‘m changin’ that.” Tails raised a brow at this statement. What did he mean by that?
In true Sonic fashion, the hedgehog scooped up the tiny fox, who yelped instinctively, faster than he could blink. The teen chuckled before tossing the boy into the pile of snow, a soft ‘pomft’ sound emitting when Tails sank into it with a shriek.
Sonic laughed as the younger’s head popped back up from the pile of snow, a thin layer of it covering his fur, which was duller and much thicker than usual to accommodate for the colder climate.
“Soniiic!” Tails whined, shaking himself to try and get rid of the snow, but most of it was tangled in his fur. He pouted at the older, who just snorted at the snow covered fox.
“What you doin’ in the snow, bud?” Sonic asked with a smirk, laughing when the kit glared at him.
“You threw me in it!” He yelled, shaking again to see if it would get the snow out of his fur this time. It didn’t work. The teen gasped in fake offense, placing a hand over his chest.
“I would never!” He claimed, shaking his head. Tails huffed and crawled out of the snow, brushing himself off to try and get rid of the snow.
“You look like a powdered donut.” Sonic snickered, grinning when the younger glared at him again.
“Seriously, dude! You should see yourse-” The hedgehog’s sentence was cut off by a chunk of snow hitting him in the face. He spluttered and wiped it away, shooting a look at the small fox. The kit stuck his tongue at the older and crossed his arms over his chest.
“That’s for throwin’ me in the snow!” He said, his tails trashing behind in a playful manner. Sonic smirked and put his hands on his hips.
“You wanna get ‘nto a snowball fight?” He asked with a brow raised. Tails tipped his head to the side, shrugging his shoulders.
“I dunno what that is.” The kit admitted, wringing his hands together.
“You know how you threw snow at me just now?” Sonic crouched down and picked up a handful of snow. The fox nodded and walked up to his brother, watching his movements closely. “Well, it’s sorta like that.”
The teen then packed the snow together until it formed a shape that roughly looked like a sphere. He held it up to the younger, who studied it for a few seconds before picking up a bit of snow to form his own sphere.
He struggled a little, but it was close enough. When he finished, he held it up for the hedgehog to inspect.
“Yep, just like that, li’l bro! Then, you throw it at whoever.” Sonic grinned and dropped his snowball on the kit’s head. The latter yelped and immediately shook his head, causing the snow to fly onto the older.
Sonic laughed as the fox blinked up at him confusedly. “Go on, hit me with it.” He urged, opening his arms to make his chest an easy target.
Tails, ever the over-achiever, looked between his brother and the snowball a few times before he tossed it straight up in the air. The teen’s arms dropped to his side as he raised a brow at the action.
The kit just smiled and looked up to the sky. Sonic looked up too, just in time for the snowball to drop right on his face. He huffed out a breath of air, but smiled when he heard the younger break out into a fit of giggles.
He shook off the snow and looked back down at the fox. He shook his head and crossed his arms. “Cheap shot.” He mumbled, smiling as his brother continued to laugh.
He’d never grow tired of that sound. Hearing his little buddy so happy always made him feel happy too. He made a mental promise to never let anyone ruin that happiness.
Doesn’t mean he’ll stop being annoying, though.
“You think it’s funny?” He asked, snatching up the fox pup once again. The younger squealed as he was tossed into another snow pile off to the left somewhere.
Tails crawled out of the snow and threw a handful of it at the hedgehog before running off in the direction they had been heading originally.
‘Playing, but still moving forward,’ Sonic thought as he stepped to the side of the projectile, watching the fox run off. ‘Clever fox.’ He smiled and jogged after the boy, keeping an eye out for more snow piles to throw his little brother into.
