life has been very stressful for me but at least there are muppets

animal + the electric mayhem have always been my favorite so this show was a real treat :')

Rewatching the Muppets Mayhem and I have some thoughts.

Lips always saying people are dead is so funny to me. Janice being in the hospital and Lips telling everyone she died, Animal missing and Lips assuming he's dead, AND then Nora leaving and everyone needing to be told she's not dead because Lips assumed she was and then told everyone she was dead.

I also saw Lips bartending one of the parties so I am going to assume Lips, on top of being a former preschool teacher, being in a band, being a college lecturer IS ALSO a professional bartender.

The fact Janice stole Floyd away from some girl named Betty is just very funny to me.

All of Lips' plans to save the world were very good and I support them.

Zoot randomly making things float was interesting.

I also forgot that Floyd was apparently dishonorably discharged.

BROS I JUST REALIZED SOMETHING. So you know how Lips got called a “chrysanthemum” in Track 7: Eight Days a Week right? And you know how Lips immediately assumed Animal was dead when he was missing and how he also assumed Nora was dead and when the band got together just to find her again he was literally ready for a funeral. I just remembered that chrysanthemums are a symbol of death and when I remembered that I just realized that Lips being called a “chrysanthemum” makes even more sense about how he assumes anyone who is gone or literally just does something is immediately dead/dying. Some of you dudes probably already thought about this but I just wanted to talk about this.

Also I know he was just called that because of how he looks like one but I think this is better instead
