hayley sarang kim and her twin brother daniel maeum kim were born to their two moms grace and ashlynn kim on the 14th of feb 2000 in toronto canada. both of her mothers are korean so they made sure that the sperm that grace was inseminated with was from a korean man so both daniel and hayley were fully korean like their moms. their korean names sarang ❪ love ❫ and maeum ❪ heart ❫ relate to their birthday being on valentine’s day. her nickname growing up was lovebug and her brother was loverboy and they both still use those nicknames to this day. their entire family is extremely close and daniel never leaves her side.

hayley was a cheerleader in high school and was insanely popular . she was probably one of the few people that could genuinely say that they loved high school. despite being a fairly average at best student she enjoyed being at school because everyone loved her. she had developed a bit of a reputation since she was a a party girl but she didn’t care as long as everyone was still obsessed with her.

she was a huge kpop fan but never thought to be an idol herself. so when she was scouted by a staff member whilst on holiday she immediately accepted and joined sm the next day. she originally dropped out of college and moved to seoul to pursue an acting career in the kdrama industry. she always knew she was meant to be famous and this was her moment.
