I love how half the time Harry deadass plays himself. Like how has he not blown his real identity?? Eventually, he's gonna have to come up with something new. Like he's gonna have to fake his death and scare the fuck out of his daughter when suddenly "Video of Lawyer Harry Wilson Killed by Billionaire Selon Smusk During a Drug Deal Gone Wrong" trending on Twitter while they are trying to find his phone to text her he left on silent somewhere in the brick and basil mobile.

When I saw the spoilers of who showed up in this episode I was hoping that I wouldn’t lose my stone triplets au, which is my favorite. I guess I better keep watching to see if the Entire thing is out the window, But at least we know now that they exist in the same universe

Level Up Post: Mighty Nein: Echoes of the Solstice: The Speculation Version
DO NOT POST SPOILERS ON THIS IF YOU ARE AT THE LIVE SHOW IN PERSON. YOU WILL BE BLOCKED.
So here's the deal: I don't know what level they'll be (18-20), I am frankly assuming they level up in the first place (but like. why wouldn't they) and I'm going to have to make a bunch of assumptions, but here is a manageable-ish, I hope, summary, to be refined once we know more. Also: I'm assuming we've got Caduceus rather than Kingsley (I DO NOT KNOW THIS FOR SURE DO NOT RELY ON THIS BEING THE TRUTH) but I will make a Kingsley post if that is not the case (short answer - I'd recommend solely leveling up in blood hunter). As always with level-ups: if there is a significant omission or an error, please let me know. If I simply did not choose the same spell or feat you did, feel free to reply with "ooh nice, what about [spell]" but do not send me asks or get weird and sanctimonious about having different thoughts on subjective assessments. Anyway, here's the pre-show version; I'll make a new post Friday if appropriate.
Fjord: Let's get Mr. Complicated Tusktooth Stone Lavorre out of the way. He is currently Warlock 12/Paladin 5. Warlocks get a mystic arcanum at level 13 (7th level spell once per day) as well as another known spell for regular casting, a subclass feature at 14 (Master of Hexes for Fjord, which allows him to move his hexblade's curse from creature to creature if the first dies), and a mystic arcanum (8th level) and another invocation and another spell at 15. Paladins, meanwhile, get Aura of Protection (+CHA mod, so 5, to all saving throws to himself and all allies within 10 feet) at level 6, a subclass feature at 7 (Aura of Liberation - he and allies within 10 feet cannot be grappled or restrained, can use 5 feet of movement to get out of prior restraints [THIS WOULD HELP BEAU IF SHE SHOWS UP CHAINED BTW], and ignore penalties to underwater attacks) as well as another L2 spell slot, and an ASI at 8; his lay on hands pool also scales up by 5 HP per level. My personal feeling is: for the next level, take paladin level 6, which gives him and anyone within the aura +5 to all saves so long as he is not incapacitated; paladin auras are ridiculously good and every day I wish someone would play paladin straight through in CR, for me, much as I adore Fjord and Vax's dips into it. For his 19th level, I'd either take paladin 7 for the aura of liberation, or take warlock 13, which grants the mystic arcanum of which I'd take Etherealness, probably, or possibly Forcecage; the clerics can handle Plane Shift, and Finger of Death seems off-brand. He also gets another regular spell of which there are many; Contact Other Plane might not work under these conditions so I'm leaning towards Dream, which is just a great weird spell few people take, but also he could take a low level spell given he has paladin spell slots. And for 20th, take the one he didn't take for 19, for a final 13 Warlock/7 Paladin split.
Beau: Much more straightforward in comparison...but let's talk about the leveling up process. Level 18 grants Empty Body, in which she can spend 4 ki to be invisible for 1 minute and resistant to all damage other than force damage, or she can spend 8 ki to cast astral projection on herself alone, which is just hilarious and great and I would like to see it. She also increases her speed to 60 feet. Level 19 is an ASI/Feat; her stats are great so I say take Mobile because it's funny to make her normal speed 70 feet/round, or mage slayer for obvious narrative and "Beau, don't you want to pull a Cerrit on Ludinus" reasons. The capstone monk level kind of sucks (4 ki points back if she's tapped when rolling for initiative) but I don't have a good multiclass for her in mind so may as well ride it out. And of course she gets a ki point per level.
Caleb: Perhaps the only person for whom level 18 is actually fun (other than the multiclassed characters), at level 18 he gets to pick a 1st and 2nd level wizard spell in his spell book that he can cast at will. He can exchange these, but it requires 8 hours of study, so probably what he has going in to this show is what he has for the show. 19 is again a Feat/ASI, and honestly a con or dex boost never hurts a wizard. Level 20 gives him two 3rd level spells in his spellbook that he can cast once per rest (long or short) without using a spell slot. Might I suggest counterspell as one of them? And both he and the clerics gain extra high level spell slots at each level (5th, 6th, and 7th at levels 18, 19, and 20 respectively).
Veth: So she is actually trickier than Fjord, as the multiclassed character, in that I'm less sure how to split it out, but we'll go through the options: Level 17 in rogue grants her the ability to temporarily steal spells from another spellcaster who attacks her (Spell Thief) which is GREAT and she should definitely take it. Level 18 is Elusive; as long as she is not incapacitated, attack rolls cannot have advantage on her. And Level 19 is an ASI/Feat and an increase in sneak attack dice and also grants her a fourth level spell slot and new spell to go with it, which must be enchantment or illusion; Greater Invisibility seems like the obvious choice. I'd take the ASI to INT. On the other hand, if she pursues more wizard levels, Level 2 would give her a subclass and its features and another 1st level spell slot (and 2 more spells), Level 3 would give her 2nd level wizard spells and corresponding spell slots (and again, 2 more spells in her spellbook), and Level 4 is an ASI/Feat, a cantrip, and another 2nd level spell slot. I say take L17 in rogue first, then get a wizard subclass (transmutation does seem obvious for a number of reasons though abjuration, illusion, and divination have better L2 features and illusion makes narrative sense - divination would simply be hilarious), then take her final level in rogue for Elusive; but with both Veth and Fjord I think there's an obvious level to take (L17 rogue for Veth, L6 paladin for Fjord) and after that I respect Sam and Travis to pick what feels right.
Jester and Caduceus: At level 18, they can channel divinity 3 times per rest rather than 2. At level 19, they take ASIs, which honestly are up in the air for me - I'm excited to see what they pick, though @captainofthetidesbreath suggested Eldritch Adept for Jester which I would enjoy, and we haven't seen Caduceus's feat from the final episode yet which means I'm not sure about what he might take as a new one, though I'm personally always a fan of Chef. And at L20 divine intervention is guaranteed (though you can only use it once per week)...but to be honest if they are level 20, I am expecting this to be nerfed for solstice reasons because it is kind of game-breaking.
Yasha: So here's the thing. Barbarian 18-19 is kind of eh and 20 is good but not amazing. She could take it; she'd get indomitable might at 18 (treat any strength check as her strength score, 18, if she rolls lower than that), an ASI/Feat at 19, and her strength and con jump up by 4 each (and can exceed 20) - this would put her at 18 CON and 22 STR, assuming she doesn't increase either with the ASI (and to be fair I would take the ASI to strength). This is solid and entirely valid as a choice. HOWEVER, might I suggest the Grog move of taking her final three levels in fighter, which would give her a fighting style and second wind at L1, action surge at L2, and an archetype and its 3rd level features at L3. I like how Battle Master feels for Yasha but really it's that action surge that makes this great; Rune Knight or Champion are also decent options.

some dissent on the conflict between the typhon and humanity
boilerplate spoiler disclaimer here: lotta big plot spoilers here. this is a long one, buckle up.
i’ve recently been seeing a lot of posts that’s like “oh the typhon are the good guys actually” and i feel the need to push back against what comes across as borderline contrarianism.
to preface this: I don’t think humanity are “the good guys”, per se. transtar corporation itself as an entity is absolutely unambiguously evil and you will hear no disagreement on that from me; it is steered and commanded by and at the behest of shadowy cyberpunk-adjacent neo-feudal billionaire lords (this is almost directly pointed out in logs you can find in Mooncrash). the arrogance of these people and their lackeys (namely the Yu siblings and their direct subordinates, especially in Psychotronics who had no excuse of ignorance) — their arrogance is a tremendous sin. it is abundantly clear that a core subtext of the game is that capitalism and privatization will consume all it can without regard for anything but profit. capitalism is as much of a devouring, uncaring monster as any typhon. with that said, i cannot agree with the notion that the typhon are “the good guys”. let’s break this down from the top.
the very first interaction humanity has with the typhon is a malfunctioning lunar satellite during early exploration of the solar system, to which they send an astronaut who is immediately attacked (unprovoked!) and killed. all subsequent attempts at communication seem to have failed. The Soviets and US government both agree this is a serious threat that they should contend with together, but because of political squabbles and confirmation bias and outcome bias (and lack of perceived benefit) they part ways and put the project on hold... after more typhon attack scientific personnel just who at the time were largely only observing them, killing them in the process. some idiot in government foists it off on the private sector without realizing the risk they’re creating.
(as a brief aside: outcome bias due to political pressure is the primary reason that both the space shuttles Challenger and Columbia were destroyed; politicos and capitalists putting their own interests above the welfare of their astronauts against the advice of their more informed specialists and anything approaching good sense. the shuttles’ design was compromised by military-industrial interests as well and that was a factor but that’s a story for another time.)
another point to make here: the Typhon appeared at a Lagrangian point - lunar L2, if memory serves. With all the mention of the Great Filter and Fermi’s Question the game makes (down to multiple paintings in Morgan’s apartment!) that is absolutely not a coincidence... because literally any spacefaring species is going to use Lagrangian points due to their benefits for space travel (I’ll spare the details but they make navigation easier). supplementary data from mooncrash logs strongly implies that the Typhon wait on other planes/dimensions/instances of reality for any activity at these points, potentially for millions or billions of years — and that’s the dinner bell, because non-sentient beings probably aren’t going to develop spaceflight. People seem to conveniently forget the following:
The Typhon are sentience-eating interdimensional trapdoor spiders who are heavily implied to have committed species-wide genocides countless times. I dunno about you, but i think maybe genocide-buffet isn’t cool just because some assholes who weren’t held accountable were doing unethical experiments. the reveal at the end of the game makes it clear that humanity’s on the ropes, billions are likely dead and consumed, the vast majority of which were innocent people who had no say whatsoever in whatever Transtar was doing. even if we assume everyone on the station actually knew because “the simulation must be biased!” as i see a common argument (that I disagree with)... people earthside sure seem to have not known.
another aside: i’ve seen people dismiss the idea of mirror neurons in pro-typhon posts re: their lack of them as a supposed excuse, but they seem to conveniently forget that while this among other things are questionable at best in our world, in the setting of Prey, Panpsychism and Orchestrated Objective Reduction are unambigously real (there’s a bunch of references to it and other related concepts to it throughout the game, both in reading material and on whiteboards - the former in the Psychotronics director’s office, the latter in Igwe’s quarters, if memory serves). things work just a tad differently. While Alex is an unreliable narrator, I really don’t think it’s a stretch that the Typhon are literally physically unable to empathize with sentient life.
all of this in mind, part of the reason I find the cooperation ending interesting is precisely because it spells out that conflict and exploitation breeds misery and death, and that forging avenues of communication and empathy is what you should do. the whole point is that transtar was approaching the issue from a consumptive, exploitative mindset, and so were the typhon. both wanted to extract from the other; but unlike the typhon humanity isn’t a hivemind. there was no collective agreement from all seven billion people that all of them should be killed for, whereas the typhon act in unison to consume without fail and without pause, without agency of their own... unless introduced to it via new methods of perception and cognition, i.e. Project Cobalt and the player character.
therein ultimately lies my main issue: while i absolutely think Alex Yu is just a tremendously evil piece of excrement who did so many fucking things hideously wrong (Danielle’s assessment of him is quite accurate), his assertion that humans are quick to project ourselves onto that which we do not understand is extremely relevant here, i.e. the argument that the typhon were just ickle innocent space creatures that were experimented on for no reason and that they must have been suffering is a very human perception and projected assumption they can or do feel the way we do, which is categorically not the case. transtar is evil and amoral precisely because it consumes sentient beings in the way the typhon do: because it is always hungry, but that is not the totality of humanity, merely its worst impulses. the typhon are more force of nature than villain per se, but by the logic that they’re the good guys so’s a tsunami that kills thousands of people who had no say in the climate change that corporations are causing... which is kind of a fucked up victimblamey throughline imo.
Prey’s thesis statement, to me, is that if everyone takes there’s only misery, but sometimes the right thing to do is to give - in this case, the capability to empathize and communicate. transtar was mistaken, but those mistakes must be corrected. humanity can give, where the typhon... don’t, at least not willingly. Morgan outright says it in one log, that we keep putting them (the powers in the interest of consuming and exploiting) into us, instead when we should have put us into them, to build a bridge and a connection for understanding. the whole goddamn point (at least imo) is that without trying to hope, without trying to see, without trying to mend, there is no future.
... but if at your darkest hour you really fucking try to make it right and to give, maybe just maybe there’s a chance there’ll be a change for the better.

witch from mercury spoilers
-i hope they're saving some of those tomato seeds. miorine would be sad if she had to start from scratch with new cultivars
-it is really nice that everyone's accepting earth house's help now, though. they finally get that recognition they needed. i hope the goat's ok though
-there is one (1) sympathetic adult in this damn show
-"if control of the fronts were lost, a massive loss of human life would occur at the very least." does this mean what i think it means. please let it mean what i think it means
-congratulations to everyone who predicted lauda of all people would get schwarzette! now: why the hell is it got purple permet stickers
-delling is STILL in the Fridge For Men despite miorine's continued mental breakdown. petra's also there now
-now, granted, miorine absolutely deserves that mental breakdown. i did basically predict that what she did wrt trying to free suletta was playing right into prospera's hands; if she had instead informed someone in power about QZ we would not be in this situation right now.
-if the control of the fronts thing from earlier is true, and with the destruction of the SAL fleet, it might just be that prospera wants to create a world where ONLY ericht can live in happiness. mom of the century (only half ironic this time)
-GUNDAM CALIBAN! or, well, calibarn, per subs. really nice that it's in keeping with the play by being considered a "demon", since it has no protection from the data storm whatsoever. congrats suletta for being invincible with the power of love. (well, probably not invincible yet, that wouldn't be dramatic and in keeping with the tempest. but she will be!)
-where IS miorine? i don't remember all the fronts in this anime, but she's not at the school or plant quetta, i don't think. there's just a normal benerit front out there, right? they say that she's in sector L4, so she should be about 60 degrees of the earth's orbit away from the moon. i don't think we know where that would be relative to the school, though that of course has to be at another Lagrange point (unless it's spending one billion dollars on staying stable in order to remain easy to access; it wouldn't be able to stay in low earth orbit alone thanks to being approximately city-sized, though. i think; i'm not an orbital dynamics person)
-interesting move from peil. let's see how that works out for them. i wonder if we'll see a sixth elan; wouldn't make much sense to just toss pharact out on its ear without destroying it in some way, it looks too cool.
-quiet zero is waaaaay out at the L2 point, on the far side of the moon. same as side 3 in UC gundam. rookie mistake by gundam governments: you gotta watch the far side of the moon or else. there's dudes with plans there. interestingly, though, L2 is an unstable equilibrium, so you'd have to transport fuel there to keep QZ from falling out of orbit even if nobody is there. of course, that's basically the only option, since all the other Lagrange points are visible from earth and at least L4 is already occupied by hostile parties.
-speaking of quiet zero: "hey i want to end war so nobody has to suffer from it anymore" -delling "sweet that sounds like a great idea. let's make something that definitely could not be used to take over the world by force and cause untold destruction to do it" -prospera "sure that's awesome" -delling
-i hope that didn't wipe out the WHOLE SAL army, though. that would be anticlimactic.
in conclusion: the payoff for these two seasons of buildup is starting to go off and i am quite excited. however, seeing as there are three episodes left, there is NO way the earth problems are getting resolved in a satisfying way unless literally all life on the planet is wiped out which i don't think wfm wants to do. i am a bit concerned for how the miorine reunion is gonna go (she is holding a green tomato in the end card, after all- now she's the one with some growing to do) but i figure they can work it out. i trust them.

Round L3, Poll #6
Remember, this is the losers bracket. We are matching up the winners of round L2 vs the losers of round W1. The winner of this poll will move on to round 4, and the loser will be revealed.
Character 145: A genius in every field possible - one would think their life would be handed on a silver platter, but you'd be wrong. Having a parent that just ruins every aspect of your hard work with useless talk about strength is a reason enough. But that doesn't stop them from trying to finally learn of a proper way to "lead" in every field, especially in their class. Not only cool design-wise, but also how the series manages to flesh out this minor villain in only a couple of scenes they are in is baffling.
Character 82: Edgy little emo boy that may seem surly and aggressive at first, but actually has a heart of gold and cares so, so much for his friends, especially his older brother, who motivates him above all else. He is usually seen wearing his soccer team's uniform, but he also has that cool (spoiler: he's so uncool) ass purple and red outfit. Also, he's ROCKING that eyeliner. ALSO ALSO he got kidnapped by aliens once and helped their planet practically rebuild its society lmao

Best Underrated Anime Group L Round 3: #L8 vs #L2
#L8: Teenage girl and her friends literally hack society
#L2: Girl turns into a tanuki and learns about racism
Details and poll under the cut!
Tumblr media
#L8: Yurei Deco
youtube
Summary:
In the cyber city Tom Sawyer, society revolves around earning "Love," akin to receiving likes on social media. Citizens of this augmented reality exchange Love for public services and appearance-changing avatars via the Decoration Customizer, also known as "Deco," a hologram device implanted in an individual's eyes from early childhood. Under the government's careful management, the people of Tom Sawyer live a peaceful existence, outside the occasional appearance of Phantom Zero, a mysterious criminal who brings all Love to zero within their vicinity.
Berry, a mischievous girl fascinated by Phantom Zero, lives comfortably in the system of Tom Sawyer until her Deco malfunctions, enabling her to see a camouflaged prankster named Hack. Believing Hack to be Phantom Zero, Berry chases after the suspect and, in the process, begins to uncover society's most well-kept secrets. As it turns out, Hack is not the only person living outside the system's rules—and the vibrant colors of Tom Sawyer hide a darker nature.
Propaganda:
Without any spoilers, Hack can easily be interpreted as nonbinary in some sort of way (whether they’re transmasc, transfem, or otherwise androgynous/neutral/other aligned) and their birth sex is never revealed, which is a plus for me. Furthermore, it’s literally what would happen if you made a fun, hard science fiction series in the style of a Ted Chiang novel but aimed at kids and written rather optimistically. It still has the hard sci-fi elements of critiquing AI and social capital systems and whatnot, but it also has an upbeat, cheerful tone of a children’s show, and you know what? I really like cheerful, intelligent kids shows! It’s something that I could not only watch on my own, but also watch with my conservative family without being seen as inappropriate, and it’s a genuinely cute and fun show!
I also like the colorful, free-flowing art style, thanks to Science SARU’s art, and the diverse characters, not only in characterization, but in race, body type, age, and gender. And the plot twists in this show really excited me too! This is one of my favorite shows of all time, and I genuinely recommend people to watch this show as well! Sadly, it’s not dubbed, likely because of its relative unpopularity, but the Japanese voice cast is another plus, especially Berry’s seiyuu! Berry is genuinely her first voice role, and she KNOCKS it out of the part, especially at making Berry’s cheerfulness stand out. Another good point: the MUSIC. With diverse mixes of electropop, hyperpop, and bit-based sounds, it genuinely has such a unique soundtrack compared to a lot of 2020s era anime’s yakousei and anisong based soundtracks which, while I like some yakousei and anisong tracks, I’m just not fond of both genres.
Trigger Warnings: Unfortunately, as a Science Saru show, Yurei Deco is unfortunately very flashy on the eyes and thus very unsafe for epileptics, the photosensitive, and autistic people who have trouble with eyestrain, among others. There are also depictions of classism that, while shown as wrong and not good in the narrative, might trigger those who experienced class-based abuse.
Tumblr media
#L2: BNA: Brand New Animal
youtube
Summary:
Throughout history, humans have been at odds with Beastmen—a species capable of changing shape due to their genetic "Beast Factor." Because of this conflict, Beastmen have been forced into hiding. Anima City serves as a safe haven for these oppressed individuals to live free from human interference.
During a festival celebrating the town's 10th anniversary, Michiru Kagemori, a human who suddenly turned into a tanuki, finds that Anima City is a far cry from paradise. After witnessing an explosion in the square, she is confronted by Shirou Ogami, a seemingly indestructible wolf and sworn protector of all Beastmen. As they pursue the criminals behind the bombing, the two discover that Michiru is anything but an ordinary Beastman, and look to investigate her mysterious past and uncanny abilities. Could she turn out to be the missing link between Humans and Beastmen?
Propaganda:
This is one of the first few anime I watched when I was getting into it, so I'm rather fond of it. Though the show is only one season, overall it's pretty solid and ties everything together at the end. I also really like how they utilize color in the animation (it especially makes fight scenes more interesting to watch). The worldbuilding they have with the beastmen is pretty neat as well. This anime is good if you're looking for something quick to watch.
Trigger Warnings: There is some violence, and since the characters are animals, that may fall under animal cruelty. There are a few parts in the show where the colors get pretty intense, so that could be considered flashing lights. There is racism, as the beastmen are discriminated against by humans.

I love the game, i really do, but for me its around 8-9/10.
Warning- This is full of spoilers for FF16! So beware
.
.
.
.
.
Im gonna asterisk all my points cause i want it to be more organized. This is things i wish square would patch into the game, (15's way)
*first thing first, my roomate had a pretty solid point about the terrence dion goodbye scene. We care for dion, they showed us plenty of him, but terrence, not so much. (or their relationship beside that one kiss scene), but not about their pure bond- which i agree, for dion involvment in the ending, he should have more screentime, also with the involvement of the empire in the plot- it shouldve got the witcher 3 approach with the siri segments, show don't tell- i think there should have been a playable section in the bahamut vs odin, to get to know dion and his dynamics better. - that scene wouldve hit so much harder.and like my kiss argument my straight roomate agreed, that if terrence at least went back for a last kiss teary that'll pull the tear gear.
*joshua-oh god they let us play as him when he was a baby, why not just letting us playing as him when the player discover that he is alive, with jote and the undying, even for small section not wanting to reveal the cards too early. I think that should be a part of the game, the base game.
*jill- if it must be a dlc so be it, but at least add some cutscenes to when she talks about the iron kingdom, we as players would be so much more hyped to join her vengeance quest, she have the potential, you showed us the horrors bennedikta went throgh which is why at least i became to love her in the end, why not a main character like Jill, she have so much potential, if not making a palyable iron kingdom section (like before she reunited with clive maybe when she grew a bit)at least add the cutscenes square.
*for god sake make it possible to switch party members like you did in 15, L1+L2 is no combo anyway so patch that thing, it'll be so much more refreshing especially in the first half of the game when the quests are dry and the gameplay loop is repetitive.
*make the ambrosia quest mandatory, so many pple dont even know they can unlock the chocobo, or at least let the player know that the + green quest are important if they want to upgrade their gameplay. This isn't an mmo most single player players will look at that and thing that the + is an extra non important (had an irl talk with a friend who thought that)
*dlc- make it season pass only, one time pay and thats it. the game is 69.99 it shouldn't even need a dlc, but at least do a full on season pass in like 19.99 with like at least a cid dlc(dont yall wanna see his time with the empire, taking small mid otto gav and making the hideaway happen, also, i wanna know who from the boys have a spicy history with cid cause quinten suggested it and some other npcs as well), dion dlc(not only to get a look at the first official not hinted gay character's love life, no not for that-but i think we need a real look into the empire pre and post Annable. what we saw of his dad was tereible, i wanna know why dion is so atrached and looking highly of him, also like ive said in previous post i have to know dion pov on branded), jill dlc(cause bae need a redemption i fucking hate how square treat a strong female character once she's a love interest of the protag)
And a gav dlc, like something happens in the end that if you dont choose gav in the quest you wont know, but gav tells a bit about his past and i think especially since he is our main scout, dlc of him and byron maybe could be cool, after the kanvar event.
*enemies variety- im pissed theres no Cactaur hunt or tonberry. Like really really pissed. You kept the freaking flann but not the cactaur?!please for the love of fucking god patch them as a hunt or something.
*animation fixes- so many quests that had a higebuildup ended looking cheap. Fix that-asap, especially the quinten quest, it could have hit so much harder if the lipsync wasn't so cursed looking while the model was kinda static they had quest with proper cutscense like theo's, why not Quinten since its a freaking end of a huge chain quest. Also, in general fix the freaking lipsync that shit is cursed af.
In conclusion i know pple like shitting on 15 but i thino 16 will only bemefit from the 15 treatment, especially for the proce we as consumers payed.
This game doesnt feel finished, it feels rushed, i think 2 more years in the baking wouldve benefit it, but well its out, so why not patching it. I think it'll boost the sales cause now the game feel bare, and many things feel like placeholders. So i hope the team didnt pop the champagne yet.
I dont blame Yoshi p or the team, i think they did an amazing job, but i do blame square's higher ups tendency to announce and release a teiple A game too early, they need to understand that atech advances, it need and will take more time to develope a game. And if you want to take the money that you are asking for at least make sure that the dough isn't raw.
That's it Haruki's out.

The one where Wufei is No Fun At Parties, temporarily becomes the new Messiah and eventually has a great time when shit goes boom. A.K.A the one where Duo is very definitely NOT going to have to report back to HQ that they accidentally got his partner high and then lost his ass somewhere in the city on the back of a getaway car. Nope, no sir, he can fix this himself. Even in these shoes.
In fact, between ghosts, gangsters, drag queens and nuns, it's just a typical Valentine's Day on L2- right?

I see that reblog about Belphegor and to that I raise to you a probably too long version of it because somethings stuck out to me! ( spoilers for S1 though! ) including some quotes that I randomly thought of.
Anyway, first and foremost "He isn't the only brother who tried to kill MC. He's just the only one who succeeded." While correct, and I love op for that, I do wanna expand on this thought a bit more. Specifically the "he's just the only one who succeeded" bit.
Both the demon brothers, daivolo, and barbatos have collectively done things that have either harmed MC, nearly harmed MC, or verbally harmed MC. Belphegor, I feel like, is the one who catches the brunt of it because, unlike every else, he's the only one who's actions actually got expanded on.
"You sure are my first alright."
Mammon had a habit of outright berateing and actively threatening MC over the first few lessons of S1. This behavior also comes along with having a bit of a bad habit of, wether purposefully or not, putting MC in the line of danger. For example, not protecting MC while at RAD [ s1 - L2-2 ], Putting MC in the line of fire of an angry brother [ both Leviathan and Beelzebub ], or even threatening to eat MC pre tsundere Era [ s1 - L2-12 + L3-2 ]. And none of this ever really gets addressed [ aside from the one of joke in the Halloween event from 2020 ], even if it could've made some really good angst fodder but that's a story for another day.
"What does you being an otaku have to do with your guilt tripping?"
Leviathan has the infamous "hard-core gamer" moment from the tsl contest, but he too manipulated MC for his own gain and also insulted them multiple times aswell. For example, Mammons entire pact arc. From the moment he met MC up till then he actively uses MC for his own gain to get his money back, even forcing both MC and Mammon into a pact to do so. Even ignoring the whole "normie" nickname, he too uses the term "human" as an insult multiple time during all of this [ s1 - L1 - 10 through L4 - 6 ]. He too threatens to eat MC, even admitting that he was going to it until he remembered Lucifer would get mad [ S1 - L4 - 6 ]. This never get addressed, like at all.
"You make hating Lucifer and loving cats seem like your only personality traits."
Satan too has his infamous tantrum throwing moment where he nearly murks MC because of no pact, but he mainly was really indifferent towards MC. He really showed no interest until his arc, and although he doesn't automatically hate MC on sight, he does sometimes use "human" as an insult and attempts to use his power to "assert dominance" over MC [ S1 L9 - 7 ] ( sounds familiar ). Although, this doesn't really last long nor does it ever happen again, it never really gets addressed again either. Unless the whole "you helped me moment" was him addressing it, then maybe.
"And how do you expect me to love someone who can barely stand himself when it comes to anything that's not physical?"
Asmo, similar to Mammon, never outright tries to kill MC. However, he drags them into a painting during the retreat and does use them for entertainment at times ( or his entire pact arc ). During the retreat the entire reason he has MC go to take a picture of Lucifer is just to have them "prove that they're worthy", He dragged MC into the painting simply because he could, and attempts to charm MC both when meeting them and during the retreat [ S1 - L8 - 6 ]. He never really makes it apparent when he uses "human" as an insult, but it does happen even if not as often as the others [ S1 - L8 - 6 ]. This never really gets addressed either.
"Since when did you ever give a damn about me."
Beelzebub, similar to asmo, never outright tries to kill MC. And, similar to Satan, he's mainly indifferent to MC until they tell him about Belphegor. However, similar to Mammon, he does sometimes do things that puts MC in harms way and nearly always puts Belphegor first. He has his infamous hulk 4 pudding moment, however he also has threatened to eat MC and is one of the only brothers who feels bad for BELPHEGOR after the whole attic incident. The only thing about this that really gets addressed is the pudding thing.
"What's one humans life for the sake of your hopes and dreams, am I right?"
Daivolo, though he never uses "human" as an insult or outright tries to kill MC, he too has his fair share of "asserting dominance" moments [ S1 - L13 - 14 ] and he put MC in both harms and deaths way. For example he "wanted MC to prove they could be a representative for the human realm." And so, he sent them off to the attic [ S1 - L15 - 14 ]. He also admits the thinking MC was gonna get hurt or worse but let it go on the off chance that they didn't [ S1 - L20 - 17 ]. He also tends to switch up the rules for his own benefit, but that too is a story for another day. This, as normal, never gets addressed.
"Is that how you convince yourself that you lack free will? That you didn't make that choice to send me there?"
Barbatos, similar to Daivolo, never uses human as an insult nor does he outright kill MC. And similar to both Beelzebub and Satan, he's mainly indifferent towards MC and only interacts with them rarely. However, he too, puts MC in deaths way and then traps them in said timeline where they just got murked [ S1 - L16 - 17 through 19 ]. Do I even need to say it by now?
"I want you to admit that everything you did to me, was for nothing."
And last but not least, Lucifer. Yeah no, he blatantly tries to harm and kill MC, use human as an insult, threatens MC on multiple occasions, and has his own "assert dominance" all throughout season 1. He threatens them with tea, threatens them after they go up the stairs, knocks them out in the tomb, apologies then threatens them, crushes their hand at the retreat, and nearly kills them when finding out about Belphegor. All while trying to protect his brothers, against the "weak and lowly human, without a choice" [ S1 - L6 - 6 ]. The only thing that really gets addressed is the knock out, but even then that was.... somthin.
This isn't ment to be a "aha gotcha" moment, instead it's ment to point out that Belphegor technically isn't the only one who succeeded. He's just the only one who killed them. The rest still did the exact same things he did, threaten them, use human as an insult, manipulate them, and harm them, even if it was for their own reasons and morals. They still did it. And so did MC. Belphegor is just the only one who's actions came back to bite him, everyone else still succeeded in doing the exact same things he did, just without repercussions or it ever being addressed.
But demons will be demons.
I don't know what to add to this, but 👍👍 I applaud you for doing all this research Anon

Iron & Ichor - Chapter 10 Summary
So, I have always known that the events this chapter shares existed in the back of my head. It has been there for years and years, and it’s strongly alluded to in Chapter 15 of Ashes & Smoke (aside from the allusion in this chapter, it’s actually a pretty heavy emotional chapter, not graphic), but if you skipped it, this might come as a surprise. So I always knew this happened, but I did not know how detailed I was going to go into it. As I wrote this scene, I was surprised at the level of graphicness it went to, but I *do* think it’s appropriate to the chapter and the topic. That *said*, if you’re sensitive--this summary of the chapter is for you.
Spoilers/Summary of Chapter 10 below the cut.
Chapter 10 is in Wufei’s POV. He recognizes that the children Jesus is holding must be Duo and Jesus’s. Duo has aged and appears healthy and happy. Duo demands why Wufei and two Avengers are there. Wufei tries to convince him that what he’s experiencing isn’t real. Tony and Wanda try to convince him as well, and Duo ejects them rather firmly.
They end up in an alley that appears to be part of L2 where they meet Solo. Solo reveals that where they’ve ended up is his doing and that Duo didn’t care where they went as long as it was “away.” He has something he wants to show them, and brings them further down an alley.
Ahead of them, they hear a child--a young Duo--screaming for help, but Solo prevents them from going to him, telling them that this is an old memory and that they cannot help Duo. He somehow throws up a wall to stop them, tells them he mistimed the memory but they need to see something related to the memory. The wall stops them from hearing Duo, but they know what is happening behind the wall.
While they’re arguing, Sister Helen appears, asking Solo if this is necessary. Solo complains that they were brought to help but don’t understand enough to help, and the memory is necessary. Sister Helen reluctantly agrees, reassuring Tony specifically who is--understandably--extremely distressed by the violence done to Duo.
They agree that helping Duo as he is now is all they can do, and Solo says it’s time. He lifts the wall dividing them from Duo, and Sister Helen explains their ability to change the landscape is limited, that Solo was only able to do so because Duo would have wanted the memory hidden.
Upon seeing Duo slumped and bleeding on the ground, they try to run for him, but Solo stops them, reminding them that this happened a long time ago and they cannot help, but they need to watch. A man stands over him, straightening his clothing.
A shadow approaches Duo, and he both seems aware of her and unafraid of her. As the shadow resolves--revealing Shinigami to be a striking woman with a great spikey helm that later disappears, revealing long black hair--Wanda confirms that the shadow is who she saw possessing Duo.
Shinigami seems surprised to be seen and recognized, and even more surprised that Duo both knows who she is but isn’t afraid of her. She asks Duo if he’s afraid to die. He tells her that everyone has to die and he’s not afraid to, but is worried that Solo will be sad. Then Shinigami asks him if he wants to die.
Duo tells her he definitely does not want to die, he just knows that everyone has to. The man insults Duo, and Shinigami seems as displeased with him as they are. She turns back to Duo and asks if he wants to live. He says yes. She says she can loan him her power but the price of it is that he must kill for it. Is he willing to do that? Duo asks her how many.
Why don’t we start with one? Shinigami asks, becoming a shadow and possessing Duo. Duo’s eyes turn black, he stands, apparently uninjured, and attacks his rapist, killing him. At the end of the alley, a second man has been waiting for the first to finish and come back. Duo laughs, attacking and killing the second man.
They have witnessed the birth of the Laughing God of Death.

3, 18, 26, 30, and 32? (Dealer’s choice on OC)
Thank you!!! 🧡
Fallout OC Asks
3. What is their SPECIAL?
Alicia - S3, P4, E3, C8, I6, A3, L5
Evie - S4, P8, E6, C8, I5, A8, L7
Aidan - S4, P9, E4, C3, I4, A9, L2
Lucille - S5, P4, E6, C5, I6, A5, L5
18. Do they have any disabilities, mutations, or implants / enhancements? Do they have any chronic illnesses?
Evie and Lucille are both Synths so they are both resistant to radiation. All 4 have some form of chronic pain from the build up of injuries. Aidan has had the longest exposure to radiation of all of them
26. How would others describe them / their disposition?
Alicia - Kind but reserved. Outside of the persona she puts on as General Clarke she is quiet and thoughtful, but blind to anything involving her family
Evie - Friendly and passionate. Perceptive ones would get the feeling she's trying to hide something.
Aidan - Blunt and Loyal. Bleeding heart buried deep deep down. Those who are close to him are all that matter and he would die to protect them
Lucille - Timid but good-humoured. In combat she is ruthless.
30. What decisions have they made or actions have they done that affect their canon wasteland? (Did they blow up Megaton, have they killed/spared any major characters, etc.)
Derailed takes place before the events of F4. Its events lead to Boomer becoming the leader of Outpost Zimonja and certain events aid Evie and the Railroad in Liar Liar’s timeline, such as the awareness of the fall of Augusta safehouse.
Alicia is the Sole Survivor and completes Acts 1 & 2 and all that entails (saving Nick, killing Kellogg, Entering the Institute etc) and also helps with various side quests and companions (Nick, MacCready etc)
Whilst the Institute is suspicious of Bunker Hill, M4-29 (later Evie) confirms Railroad activities there and leads directly to the eventual Battle of Bunker Hill, though her own self-preservation means that the Institute never gets names or faces. She completes the Railroad quest line from Boston After Dark onwards, whilst Alicia completes the Institute quest line.
There's more but that'd be spoilers (and even more of a wall of text)
32. What is their go-to weapon or weapon class?
Evie - Deliverer
Alicia - at first it was her 10mm, modded to all hell. Then once she joined the institute she favoured laser weaponry
Aidan - back during his raider days he shared a .45 rifle with the rest of the lookout team. He has an allocated pipe pistol from the gang at Outpost Zimonja but has a secret 10mm that he keeps for emergencies
Lucille - Lucille has a scavenged 10mm she bartered from Tenpines Bluff. After the events of Derailed she favours a shotgun
