“…consider it. He’s really sweet and he’s funny too plus he has a great body too,” her best friend said. Y/N cocked an eyebrow at her best friend who has been begging her for months to meet her friend that she’s been raving on and on about.
“Okay? I still don’t want to meet him,” Y/N said.
“Why not? He’s such a sweetheart and I’m sure you’ll like him,” her best friend whined.
“Because every guy you’ve set me up with has either been crazy, weird, or an obsessive mama’s boy. I don’t trust your judgment when it comes to men,” Y/N explained.
“Okay, but those guys were flukes and this time I swear on my life that he’s perfect for you.”
“You said that last time and I ended up with a guy who wanted to cut off part of my braid so he could keep it forever on the first date,” Y/N said.
“Oh my gosh. That guy was so two years ago,” Keyana rolled her eyes.
“Two years too many,” Y/N replied.
“Besides, he’s not a complete psycho, he is a mama’s boy to a healthy level, he’s a little weird but not too weird, and he’s not crazy either,” Keyana said.
“You’re not going to stop until I say yes, huh?” Y/N muttered.
“Yep,” Keyana grinned. Y/N rolled her eyes hard. Her best friend could be extremely stubborn when it came to her dating life and trying to set her up with her match. She loved her best friend, but the blind date track record was just atrocious.
However, if she didn’t say yes, then the woman wouldn’t stop and she would continue to be a nuisance until she said yes. Y/N decided to just go ahead and say yes.
“Set it up, but after this YOU’RE DONE,” Y/N sighed. Keyana squealed and quickly began typing the guy to inform him of the news.
“Alright. This Saturday, you and him will have dinner at this new restaurant that just opened, which I happen to have reservations for,” Keyana smiled.
“Yay,” Y/N sarcastically said.
The week came and went until finally it was the night of her blind date with the mystery man himself. She hoped that he was as great of a guy as Keyana had boasted about. She also hoped that he was on time too.
One thing Y/N could say is that the restaurant was definitely nice. She had already scanned the menu and it had some good prices. The prices weren’t clutching your pearls and faint type of prices, but more so “okay, that’s fair” type of prices.
As she sat there scanning the menu, her phone buzzed and she saw that it was an unfamiliar number. She pressed accept and put it to her ear, “hello?”
“Is this Y/N?”
“Yes. I’m assuming that you’re Jeongin, right?”
“Yeah I am,” he answered, “I’m here, but I don’t see you.”
“When you walk in, head to your right and you’ll see somebody with bright blue locs,” she answered.
“Okay. Got it,” he said. Y/N put her phone down and then scanned the sea of people for her blind date. Her eyes landed on a handsome guy with black hair that was approaching the table.
“Y/N?” Jeongin asked.
“Jeongin?” Y/N said.
“Wow. You’re really gorgeous,” he told her.
“Thank you. You’re really handsome too,” she smiled. As handsome as he was, he looked young. He looked like he could be her little brother rather than her date. She was gonna kill her Keyana when she caught her.
“Have you been waiting long?” Jeongin asked.
“No. I just got here not too long ago,” she answered.
“Good. I didn’t want to keep you waiting long,” he said.
“You’re good,” she assured him, “So how did you and Keyana meet?”
“I met her through Chris,” he answered.
“You’re friends with that guy?” Y/N asked. Jeongin began laughing when she said that.
“What’s wrong with Chris?” Jeongin questioned.
“Is this gonna get back to him?” Y/N muttered in a low voice.
“No,” he chuckled.
“Good because he’s goofy. That’s all I have to say,” she answered.
“Chris is weird,” he added, laughing.
The rest of the evening was surprisingly nice, even though she was a little bit apprehensive about the fact that he seemed to be so young. She figured that dating might not be in the cards, but a friendship is much better.
“So…when can I see you again?” Jeongin asked. Y/N did not know why, but she started to feel a little bad for what she was about to do, which was to turn him down.
“You’re a really great guy, but you’re too young for me,” she told him, feeling like an ass the entire time.
“You think I’m too young?” Jeongin questioned.
“Yeah,” she answered. All of a sudden, he started laughing and she was highly confused.
“What is so funny?” Y/N asked.
“How old did you think I was?” Jeongin questioned.
“Let’s just say that you look like you could be my little brother,” she answered.
“Wow. Now I don’t know whether I should laugh or be offended,” he chuckled.
“This is definitely a moment of not judging a book by its cover,” she remarked, giggling. Now she felt silly as hell for even making that assumption about him.
He took out his ID and made sure to cover the more important parts, then showed it to her, “do you believe me now?”
“Anybody can have a license, even a three year old,” she shrugged.
“Wow. You’re stubborn,” he said.
“I think it’s called being “rightfully suspicious” to be honest,” Y/N replied. Jeongin moved closer so that he was towering over her slightly.
“What? Are you about to intimidate me into believing you?” Y/N asked jokingly. His lips touched hers in an unexpected, yet passionate kiss. His lips felt soft against her own and she could spend an eternity kissing them.
When he pulled away, she felt a little out of it. He was an extremely good kisser.
“Have I convinced you?” Jeongin asked.
“Mm-mm. Convince me some more,” she answered. Jeongin laughed again, pulling her in for another.

This some of my best work. Executive Produced by my Muse.
Auzzy suggested it so I’ve added “In A Benz” as the last track and had to rework the skit to make it feel more theatrical. There’s skits in songs, good beats, and overall Im shocked and proud at the same time
We really in the future bro cause I just created an album that’s partially created with AI.
The light on the cover is symbolic because each time I pray or know that God is present is when there’s a white light shining through the window. I made an AI window but its pretty understandable when viewing. The room is empty and that relates to how I feel when Im making music lately. Like Im in my own zone which explains the odd things in the cover.
Its my own zone.
The best part thats my favorite is the abstract painting of me and auzzy on the wall. She got me that as a gift and out friend keyana had painted it so even she gets to benefit from it.
I talked to J Ivy that sent me the giveaway shirt I won the other day today too and we talked about her using my song “grass is green” for her grass is green campaign she has going on in New York. Let alone its her whole new exhibition. She loved the song and said she’s going to make some content out of it as for further promotion so this month is full of surprises.
