Pretty Boy

Pairing: Jang Han-Seo x reader Word Count: 1616 words Warning: mentions of wounds/blood, bad flirting (?)

A/N doesn't really connect to the series, he's still alive as well. It was just a small drabble stuck in my head since my exams started. So here's a smart drabble.

You sighed, playing with a tennis ball and throwing it in the air and catching it again. You had been in this couch for about 2 hours, waiting for your brother to arrive yet he had not. It was only 7 am, but he should be awake. He was always awake by 6 am if he didn't have to leave earlier. Just as you were about to get up and leave, when the door opened to reveal 2 men and a woman. You looked at them for a few seconds before smiling at your brother, who seemed shocked to see you.

"What are you doing here?" He asked in Italian and you stood up, still smiling brightly as you went to hug the elder.

"Visiting my dearest brother. Am I not allowed to?" You asked back in Italian, looking up from his chest with a fake pout. He just smiled at you, patting your head and messing up your hair.

"So... They are?" Someone else asked, in Korean this time, and you looked away from your brother to the woman next to you. She was extremely pretty.

"Hong Cha-Young..." She said and you then turned to the other male, holding out your hand once more to the woman. She awkwardly grabbed a hold of your hand and shook it.

"Nam Joo-Sung, pleasure." He spoke and you smiled as he shook your hand as well.

"I didn't know you had siblings." Joo-Sung said and you smiled.

"Well, it's not blood related so he tends to forget mentioning me." You said with a teasing smile as you gave Vincenzo a look. He didn't say anything and instead went to one of the bureaus.

"So why are you here?" "Visiting. Italy is boring without you and people are still trying to kill me." You said, sitting back on the couch and taking out your pocket knife. You started to twirl the knife in between your fingers, a habit you had developed and learned from Vincenzo, while zoning out completely again. Everyone seemed to accept that the conversation was over and went to work, although Joo-Sung kept glancing at the knife in your hand. You were pulled out of your trance when the door opened again, this time revealing a handsome young male.

He looked around your age and was dressed in a black suit with a white shirt underneath it and a dark blue tie. His hair was gelled back, but strands were hanging loosely to the front, framing his face slightly. He wore a bright smile before his eyes connected with yours and his smile dropped just a bit, clearly not expecting someone else in here. You realized that it may had been your look and the cuts on your face and the knife in your hand probably didn't help the thought. You awkwardly waved at him before realizing that you were still holding the knife in your hand and stopped waving, awkwardly putting the knife down and looking away from the man.

"Han-Seo!" Cha-Young noticed the younger man and happily greeted him, getting up from her desk. Vincenzo had also looked up from his paperwork and gave him a smile before continuing his work. Han-Seo, as you had just learned, didn't seem to mind that as he basically hopped over to Vincenzo. He sat down, his smile back on his face as he started rambling about something.

You didn't hear much of what he was saying as you were too busy staring at him. You didn't know why, but you felt like you were staring at an ethereal being. He looked absolutely adorable to you and his absolute happiness as he talked to your older brother. You stared at him until your eyes connected with your brother. He raised an eyebrow at you, smirking slightly before leaning back in his seat as Han-Seo turned around to see what Vincenzo was looking at. His eyes connected with yours and you snapped out of your trance and looked away, your face heating up from embarrassment, not noticing that Han-Seo was blushing extremely hard. You didn't look up from the spot on the ground that you were looking at, trying to calm your rapidly beating heart down.

How was it possible that you had already developed a crush on this man, when you had only seen him for a few minutes at most. You didn't even know him.

"Right, Han-Seo. That's my sibling, (y/n). (Y/n), this is Han-Seo." He stated and you could hear the amusement in his voice. You slowly looked up, your eyes glancing towards Han-Seo.

"Hello, nice to meet you." You stated, waving once more before awkwardly getting up.

"I'll talk to you later, I need to-" You looked down at your body awkwardly. "-change out of these rags..." You said, referring to your ripped and bloodied clothes.

"Did you fight after coming here?" Han-Seo asked and you gulped, but nodded anyway.

"Some guys in front of the building were yelling and one of them hurt someone. Some girl that lives here. So I punched him and then it... escalated." You sighed before turning to leave.

"Get those treated! We don't need a repeat of last time!" Vincenzo called and you turned your head back, giving him a small glare.

"One time." You sneered before opening the door. You left and walked around, finally finding Vincenzo's apartment and entering. You dropped your bag and opened the zipper, pulling out some different clothes and dropping them on the bed before entering the bathroom. You put on the shower before removing your clothes and climbing in the shower. You let the hot water relax your muscle and somewhat clean your wounds.

Once finished, you wrapped a towel around yourself and exited to bathroom. You kicked the door closed behind you, still holding your towel tightly as you grabbed your clothes.

You had just put on your pants on when the door opened, leaving you basically half naked in front of the one and only Han-Seo. The first-aid kit he was carrying was now on the ground and his eyes were wide in shock. You yourself didn't care that much though, although your face had heated up slightly.

"Sorry!" He exclaimed, quickly covering his eyes. You chuckled and pulled your shirt over your head.

"Don't worry about. So, uh, why are you here?" You asked as he turned back around, crouching to collect the stuff that he had dropped. You went to help him and in the most cliché way ever, you both grabbed the same thing. You ignored the embarrassment and instead just took it anyway, dropping it in the first-aid kit.

"Hyung said you might need help with your wounds..." He said as he got up, grabbing the box as he did so. You chuckled and looked at him with a smirk.

"I think they're fine, but sure thing. C'mon." You pulled him along as you both sat down on the bed. Han-Seo started to grab the necessary materials before awkwardly sitting next to you.

He dabbed some alcohol on the scratches on your face before placing small band-aids on top of them. You were sure that you looked ridiculous, but you didn't really care as you stared at the man in front of you. He was extremely focused and you just thought of it as adorable.

Once he was finished with your face, he moved to your hands and started to put alcohol on them as well.

"You seem experienced with healing." You commented and he looked up before sheepishly smiling.

"I get injured a lot." He replied as he continued to treat your wounds. You continued to sit in silence, not really knowing what to say to break the silence without sounding stupid.

"So... Why are you here in Korea?" Han-Seo asked and you chuckled.

"Italy is boring without Vincenzo... Also, I pissed off some people in Italy, so coming here was a plus." You shrugged and he looked at you in confusion.

"I pissed of the little mafia princess from another group. Quite stupid, but having 70 men on your tail constantly is annoying." You explained the details quickly and he looked even more shocked than before.

"You're wondering what I did, aren't you?" You asked, a hint of excitement in your voice as you said and he nodded, somehow looking like a puppy.

"So, basically! She had a crush on Vincenzo and kept annoying me because she thought I was also in love with him. So I stole and wrecked her car in revenge for her annoying attitude. She did not like the hockey stick prints that I left in the windows." You chuckled and he chuckled as well.

"You play hockey?" "Just a bit. I had to pretend for awhile as undercover and I enjoyed it enough to keep trying. I still can't get the direction of the puck though." You mumbled, laying back on the bed with your arms behind your head. You glanced at the man that was now glowing as he started to rant, but it went in one ear and out of the other.

"Sorry, you're going to have to repeat that pretty boy." You said with a sigh, eyes trained on Han-Seo's face as it slowly started to gain a pink color.

"What? No one called you pretty before?" You asked as you sat up and he looked at his hands.

"It's not a word that gets used to describe me." He mumbled and you sat up completely.

"Well, get used to it then. I'll talk to you later, pretty boy. Girl's gotta eat." You said, patting your stomach as you walked to the door. You opened the door and looked back.

"You coming?" You asked and he looked at you for a few seconds before getting up quickly. You giggled before exiting the room with Han-Seo hot on your heels.

Han-Seo: Your honestly telling me the truth?

Y/n: Yes. You smiled brightly, as you looked into his beautiful eyes as they lit up.

Han-Seo: I...I'm going to be a father? He laughed, as he hugged you tightly. This is the best news ever. He said, as he kissed you.

Vincenzo: AGH! What did I tell you about kissing here?

Han-Seo: S...sorry,i just came to bring everyone lunch when I heard the great news.

Mr Nam: What great news?

Y/n: We are...going to have a baby.

Cha-Young: AHHH! She yelled, as she hugged you tightly. I'm going to be the best aunt in the world.

Vincenzo: Your pregnant?

Y/n: Yes. A month...i went to the doctor yesterday, and they told me that I was pregnant.

Vincenzo didn't say a word, biting your lip he walked over to you taking your hands in his. Placing a kiss on your forehead, Vincenzo pulled back giving your a soft, yet warm smile.

Vincenzo: I'm more than happy that my best friend, is going to have a baby.

Han-Seo: Mr Cassano.

Vincenzo: Yes.

Han-Seo: I'm asking this now, so that we...i...would you please be the godfather?

Vincenzo: The godfather?

Mr Nam: Why? He asked, as Vincenzo looked his way. I...i mean, why not me?

Y/n: Because, you've been my best friend since middle school. Why can't we ask you?

Vincenzo: Yes...okay, I'll do it.

Smiling you hugged Vincenzo, as he returned the hug you felt as if nothing would go wrong.

Time skip

Han-Seo: D...don't...please. Han-Seo begged his bother Han-Seok, not to hurt you.

Joon-Woo/Han-Seok: Why would I hurt y/n? She's carrying my niece or nephew. He spoke, as he rubbed your belly.

Pulling away from him, you cleared your throat.

Y/n: Get your hands off me. You said, as you tried to wiggle loose from being tied up.

Joon-Woo/Han-Seok: Awe...don't hate me y/n. I'll never hurt you or the little miracle growing inside you. He smirked, as he kissed your cheek making you grinch.

Later on Han-Seo was busy fighting his brother, which allowed Vincenzo to untie you and Cha-Young. Grabbing your hand, Vincenzo holted to a stop when a loud bang was heard. Cha-Young was shot, yes by accident since she protected Vincenzo and got shot which made Vincenzo mad. You fell to your knees as you helped lower Cha-Young, setting her against the table to lean on.

You were checking Cha-Youngbfor any other ingury that she might have when Bang another gun shot was heard. This stopped you in your track, looking up to see that Han-Seo was shot.

Y/n: NOOO! You yelled as he fell to the floor.

Han-Seok still held the gun in his hands which made you think he'd shoot again, not being able to move. He tried shooting Vincenzo, but failed when the gun was empty.

As Vincenzo chased him to the balcony, you ran over to Han-Seo placing your hand on his wound.

Y/n: Jagi...i...its going to be okay. Your going...to be okay. You said, while crying as you looked down at him.

Han-Seo: I...I'm sorry...that I won't h...he...help raise our child.

Y/n: Don't say that...your going to be fine.

Han-Seo: I was...i was going to ygive you this. He said, as he gave you a ring.

I was...going to propose to y...you at d...dinner.

Y/n: Yes, I'll marry you. You'll be fine. You tried, to convince yourself.

After Vincenzo talked to Han-Seo, he died in his arms causing you to cry even more. Pulling away, he looked over at you and engulfed you in his arms as you cried on his chest.

Time skip 1 year

You were busy making tea for yourself when there was a knock on your door, walking over thinking it's one of the tenants you saw Vincenzo as you opened the door. Swallowing you, smiled as tears filled your eyes.

Vincenzo didn't say anything as he pulled you into his arms, holding you close as your arms wrapped around his waist.

Y/n: Your here. B...but how?

Vincenzo: I got some time to stay, did someone a favor.

Y/n: Oh. W...would you like some coffee?

Vincenzo: Sounds great. Vincenzo replied, as he walked in closing the door behind himself.

He followed you into the small kitchen you owned, looking around your apartment when your little baby cried.

Y/n: Excuse me. You said quickly, running to the next room. Vincenzo, meet your godson. You said as you entered the room. Would you like to hold him?

Vincenzo: Yes. He said, as he took the boy in his hands.

Looking down at the boy, the baby smiled at him as the baby giggles filled the room.

Vincenzo: What's his name?

Y/n: Jang Han-Seo...Vincenzo. You said clearing your throat. Han-Seo wanted to name our baby after you if it was a boy...so I did.

Vincenzo: He looks just like Han-Seo. His eyes, and his smile. He spoke, as he ran his thumb over Han-Seo cheek. Junior is such a handsome guy...arent you? Vincenzo asked, Han-Seo as he bounced him up and down.

Y/n: Your really good with him. A natural.

Vincenzo: I may be a mafia boss, but there is no way that I will be hard on this baby. He deserves a father...and that's what I'll be for him. You also need someone to lighten the load, so...thats why I'm going to move to Korea for a while. The apartment across from yours is mine now, I signed the lease this morning.

Y/n: Your coming back to Korea? But aren't the police still looking for you?

Vincenzo: No.

Y/n: O. Um...about Han-Seo's will...he...he gave me Babel, and some of his estates that he had, property, businesses that he invested in and loads of money. Ever since Babel is under new management it all changed, and Mr Nam is a great manager. Cha-Young is my lawyer, and some of the tenants in the building help out sometimes with the baby or business. He also left you part of the business.

Vincenzo: What? Why would he do that?

Y/n: In the will he left a letter saying why. Saying that the 30% of the business he's leaving you is because, of all the good things you've done for others and for him. For teaching him that no matter what happens to yourself, that a man will always protect others no matter the loss. He also said that he gained a brother in you, that you were his real brother and that he loved you very much.

Vincenzo: I...i don't know what to say.

Y/n: Accept it. He wanted you to have it Vincenzo, and you promised him that you would protect us, which could cause problems in the long run but your still here.

Vincenzo: I came back for you and the baby, nothing else. But...if this Han-Seo wanted then I'll gladly accept.

“Stereotypical-First” Type of Guy

This man is an absolute sucker for romance. It’s obvious that he actually cares and that first date won’t certainly be the last. It all started off as jokes & teasing, until you two developed feelings. So, now you’re sitting with him on a picnic blanket in a secluded part of the beach and it’s around 6 in the evening. He got you a bouquet of your favorite flowers, an item you really like [books, art materials, etc.], and prepared the scene the two of you were sat at. Theres a picnic basket on the blanket, various seashells you two collected all around you two, some petals he placed in advance to set the scene— It was straight out of a movie. He lit up a candle with one of the scents you’ve mentioned was your favorite and it’s safe to say his efforts paid off. Eventually, you two went on a stroll after having a little dinner. You went around the beach and reached the ocean shore— which escalated in an innocent water fight. You guys splashed one another with water and laughed. This guy has good aim so you were really soaked while he was still mostly dry… So he made it an opportunity to give you his jacket/coat, since you were wearing a not so thick dress and got soaked in cold water.

“You’re the only girl i’ve ever brought to this place” Type of Guy

You’ve known this guy for years, maybe even a decade. Which is why he brought you to a place he holds close to his heart, some place he wouldn’t take anyone else whose just a fling or doesn’t matter to him to that extent. He informs the owner of the place in advance of the special someone he’s bringing to have dinner. Even the owner is shocked, as he became close friends over the years with this person— and knowing him almost as well as you do (to a certain extent), the thought of him bringing someone over, especially a girl, never would have crossed his mind in his entire life. Which is why he made sure to make everything extra special that night, not wanting to disappoint you and this guy. This guy specifically tells you that this is his favorite place, and he’s brought a very close guy friend of his or two, but has never even mentioned it to a girl. This small and cozy place is hidden in a secluded area, so you two had a romantic night. It ended with him taking you back to your place and a good night kiss. It felt surreal considering you’ve been just friends for so long who has actually had feelings for each other but never admitted until just recently, which led to this first date.

“Simple & Sincere Since The Beginning” Type of Guy

This guy is simple and you stayed for that. Ever since you first met him, it was already made clear that he wasn’t the type of guy to be so outgoing and extra. He likes simple and innocent activities that you two do because it puts a smile on your face, and anything that makes you happy, makes him even happier. And knowing how much you love movies, he decided he’d go ahead and prepare the movie you’ve been dying to see for so long, so that the two of you could watch it at his place. It was just you and him, nobody else, sat down together with various snacks that he noticed you love. It didn’t matter to him what movie it was— comedy, adventure, horror, or even romance, what mattered to him was your enjoyment that night. From sneaking his arm around your waist to cuddling without you even noticing, this guy is smooth and he made good use of it. Your first date lasted for hours because you fell asleep in his arms, to which he didn’t wake you—instead, slept along with you. Some would say that it’s weird to already cuddle and fall asleep together on the first date, but you’ve been so close to this guy for so long that it’s almost as if its just another day.

“Flaunt You With His Money” Type of Guy

This guy is rich, he’s filthy rich. As expected from these kinds of guys, your first date is at a classy restaurant that you can’t even pronounce the name of. He picks you up from your house in one of his cars, which he made sure to choose your favorite color & the car you seemed most comfortable in. But he also made sure to choose something flashy, so that you wouldn’t be thinking of any of the other cars he owns. He’s dressed up in a suit, and this guy has plenty of them. His hair is fixed for the occasion and his fragrance is one you can’t forget because of how good it smells, but it isn’t too strong so that it won’t get to your head. He picks you up in the evening, around five. He goes up to your doorstep with a large bouquet of your favorite flowers and chocolates he knows are your favorites. He patiently waited at your door while you were putting the flowers in a vase with water, and the gifts in the refrigerator / on the counter, (because chocolates wasn’t the only gift he brought you). He made sure to be even more of a gentleman than he already is to you, opening the door for you, pulling the chair for you to sit on. And because you’re wearing a dress with little to no sleeves, he gave you his coat.

notes: i don’t remember any of my thoughts while writing this.. except that this has been in my drafts for so long and i’ve been coming back once in a while to work on it and disappear again..

The more I assigned the characters, the more I realized I haven’t seen most of them in WEEKS. I miss them sm

It's quite surprising that you got to date this bastard despite your life styles being really different. The school management are super worried to hire you as a new pre-school teacher because of fresh gossips that you are dating a "gangster" or someone who is "involved with the mafia". But you proved them wrong with how effective your teaching skills are and how gentle and nice you are with children 🖤✨😇🥀.

If you asked him out to help teach the kids, he is really hesitant at first. Because he doesn't want to ruin your and his reputations, and second, he's really busy with business that he's handling, and third, he might accidentally hurt the kids and he may just cause you trouble.

But, if you really asked him to (with your help of course) he may accept the offer. Though expect him to have that poker face all the time 💀✋.

The children may have 2 reactions. First, they may get a bit intimidated and scared because of how muscular he is (like for example having LOTS OF TATTOOS AND SCARS) and most especially his death glares at times 😭🗿. And the other children will be VERY FUND OF HIM. They're so impressed with his tattoos thinking that those are cool body painting. Some may even tease you for bringing your future husband 😉. "WOW! YOU GOT COOL DRAWINGS ON YOUR ARMS MISTER!" a little boy with a bowl cut and a little girl with pigtails inspected his rather sturdy limbs while the other children "style and fixes" his hair with cute My Melody clips. "Thanks, I guess." he muttered while an another child approached him with a scared expression as she curiously asked "But I thought tattoos are bad? A-At least that's what my momma told me..." she mumbled as she was afraid to offend the scary looking guy. But surprisingly, he just sighed as he tried to explain the reasons about why he got those "offensive" markings on his body. "It's your decision in the future if you want to get tattoos or not. But you're still children. So that's the reason why your mom told you that getting tattoos are bad for your age." 🥺. You're literally going to smile as you get to see this soft side of him that he rarely shows.

He may not accept with playing hide and seek with the children since he's skeptical that he'll make some cry💀✋. But he will weirdly enjoy some calmer activities like drawing, painting, and he also doesn't mind if the little girls style him up with those fake make-up and hair clips. And playing toy trucks with the little boys, especially if you're with him enjoying this moment.

Is IRONICALLY INTO IT (even though if he denies it and thinks it's cringe LMAO).

Despite his somewhat a bad reputation, he's mostly a fun and loving guy especially with those who are close to him. Whether it's you (his loving partner), his family and friends, he's willing to feel vulnerable for the people he loves 🖤✨. And that side of him is rarely noticed because of how some people are quick to judge at times...

You want help with teaching the children? NO PROBLEM. As long as he gets to spend some extra time with you (like some sort of a date), he can't take down your offer. And also bonus points is that even if he somehow has that love and hate relationship with kids, he may even bring some candies, plushies, and learning materials for the children not only to enjoy but also learn 🖤✨.

He's really going to enjoy playing hide and seek with the children especially at play time. He may go a little cautious though as he doesn't want to freak them out at accidentally hurt them (considering how strong he is). And he's going to have those little talk with the boys about their crushes, teasing them and laughing out loud about some silly stories the boys tell him. He MAY curse a little though, so you got to watch out for his language and scold him to not get in trouble. "And when I was going inside the school, I didn't noticed the door closed so I hit my head and got a REALLY BIG BUMP ON MY FOREHEAD!" A boy with crooked teeth exclaimed quite proudly as his fellow students cackle at his silly story with your quite gleeful boyfriend. "HAHAHHAHHA THAT'S FUCKI-" "OI! LANGUAGE!" "EEK I'M SORRY MY LOVE!". And he'll also blush a lot when the annoying brats tease him with you being his girlfriend. "I HEARD THAT YOU HAVE A REALLY HUGE CRUSH ON MS. Y/N!" a little girl smirked as he hissed at the group of little brats as they let out chirps of laughter. "WELL, YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE A BOYFRIEND THOUGH! HUH!" "BECAUSE I'M STILL YOUNG MISTER STUPID!" "Children, what did I say about cursing?" you raised your eyebrows with that silly smile as your bf and she apologized.

Is REALLY BAD AT SPELLING like some of the other men above 💀✋. So you got to teach him the right grammar and pronunciation to not accidentally teach the children the REALLY WRONG WAY xD. And plays dress up with the girls with that goofy makeup 😭.

He's also a bit hesitant at first especially if he's busy. But if you really need help then he'll come with you.

He may not realize it but he's REALLY GOOD WITH TAKING CARE OF CHILDREN. YOU NAME IT. Whether it's academics like spelling, counting numbers and simple mathematics, cultural subjects like music, arts, physical education, studying language, or reading storybooks and fairy tales he's going to be a really amazing teacher! (Zack and Vasco may have a hard time at spelling some words though).

It's no surprise that he's really gentle and nice with your students as he is aware that he is more physically stronger than them. So he's really cautious about it when playing hide and seek or tag because he doesn't want to hurt them 🖤✨🥀🥺. He'll also scold at them at times if they almost bruise themselves like a protective dad and like they are his own children 😭. "Hey, I told you to not run fast. You know got a bruise you see." he calmly scolded the little boy as you rushed in the scene. "DARLING WHAT HAPPENED!" you noticed the little boy sniffing, not because he was scared of your boyfriend. But because of the stinging pain of the small injury he got. "I-I ran a bit fast... I'm sorry Ms. Y/N." he apologized as you both sighed while your boyfriend patch up his wounds with the extra band aid he got on his pocket. "It's okay. Just don't run a bit too fast next time okay?" O-Okay..." He may not like wearing make-up and hair clips but if it's for the girls' entertainment, then he would have no problems with it (he's so considerate AHHHHHHHHHH I LOVE THEM SM). He may even brush their hair and even put some hair gel on the boys to boost up their confidence 💯.

I may sound emotional, but he'll also talk abut philosophic topics about life since he's really an empathetic guy you see. He'll talk about how the children should love their parents for their sacrifices, how much their childhood and innocence should be cherished while they are still kids, etc.. You may not expect it, but it may bring a bittersweet tears of joy on the children's eyes just because of how good of a person he is 🖤✨🥀 .
