A once prosperous empire has fallen into a time of chaos and eternal darkness. There are still those who pray that one day the sun will rise again.
The map for my DnD prequel campaign set centuries before, during 'The Age of Endless Night' with dark apocalypse themes! ⚔️

Some parts from our Ivoria session that made me laugh or seemed silly!  1. Our party met with our ‘employer’ Nicolin (Wizard NPC I think) and listened to him sigh heavily as we explained how we were at the centre of the two latest incidents that are now taking up his time (Knocking out the head archaeologist of a dig so we can break into the underground city just to use a giant metal dragon to escape half a day later and then killing the demon/devil prince who was in charge of a town and doing a... Good job? But also was kinda holding us hostage so we couldn’t leave until he died) #TheGuiltyBoysareInnocent 2. Riding Moorbounders called Snaggletooth, Chickenlegs, Beef and Greg and somehow surviving
3. Zaharius (Yuanti wizard) using a broom to fly and all I could picture was Bewtiched
4. Shammus (Werewolf NPC) explaining that it’s better he’s tied up naked so that he doesn’t tear his clothes and Nexus (Teifling Monk/Cleric) explaining that he’s done this before much to confusion of Isvara (Aasimar Warlock) and  Méduse (Human Sorcerer) who definitely did not understand and wonder why Nexus goes around tying people up naked

do your muses get along with each other?
Sometimes!
I try not to have too much heavy interaction between my characters, but I also like making up those kinds of connections, so it happens. I have a monk, Eillian (@nethertossed) who is a Stormwind Knight and commander of a small Alliance  detachment. One of the people in the Mists/WoD era he wound up giving opportunities to was my worgen mage, Ivoria (@spellthread). She was pretty traumatized after volunteering for relief efforts in Theramore and losing several friends in the Pandaria campaign and he quietly kind of helped her work through a good portion of it.
Other times they don’t.
The Dawnsend brothers, Cassienn and Sandrilar both joined the Farstriders, but wound up pursuing radically different paths. Cassienn stayed close to home to hunt trolls, while Sandrilar went out into the HInterlands to see some beautiful country removed from the perpetual autumn of Quel’thalas. After the Scourge invasion, he returned to be close to his surviving relatives (just Cassienn at this point) but the brothers found themselves at odds in the intense time that followe. Their last meeting was a bitter quarrel on the night Cassienn was set to depart for Outland, following Kael’thas’ example, while Sandrilar began looking for a way out of an increasingly fel-touched and restrictive society he wanted no part of. This eventually led him to fall in with Umbric’s followers, tempted by the visions of new horizons untouched by the war and suffering all around him.
Cassienn, for his part, was rewarded for his dedication in Outland by being selected to become one of Illidan’s demon hunters.
They’d probably try to kill each other if either learned the other was alive.

I saw your Yuan-ti Zaharius and he's so pretty!!! Can you tell me more about him?
OH thank you SO MUCH!!!! Zaharius is actually one of the player characters in the campaign I DM for called Ivoria! He belongs to @ophelia-mardun who is also our DM for the campaign I play Eddie in!! He’s so pretty, I really enjoyed drawing him. A lot of things about Zaharius are a secret so I can’t share too much, but he’s the personal assistant to Lady Aksha, who is the princess of a place called Viperia. Zaharius loves snakes, hates birds and has very little emotion on the outside but lots of emotion on the inside.

A land once plagued by an age of Endless Night, The Ivorian Empire is now united under the sovereignty of High King Elezar, a descendant of the mighty hero Ivoria, who united the people and vanquished the shadows with the help of his 7 powerful knights. Now political tensions are rising and war is brewing between the once peaceful states, however there seems to be another greater threat just on the horizon and history appears to be repeating itself once more.
I’m finally able to share the map I made for my DnD campaign! The party’s current mission is to escort a Viperian princess to her royal wedding in Miros, but of course things are not going entirely to plan.

A land once plagued by an age of endless night, a thousand years ago the mighty hero Ivoria united the people and vanquished the shadows with the help of his 7 powerful and loyal knights.
Sometimes you just have to draw a medieval tapestry based on the backstory lore of your homebrew DnD campaign. The players are currently in the Ivorian Empire, a thousand years after the Age of Endless Night. The history of these knights plays a big part in the current state of the empire and it’s very hard to keep all the secrets to myself, especially because I love all the knights very much.

This was a fun little project I did for our DND group for (just after) Christmas! It was nice to document the progress as I don’t finish pieces like this often but it definitely inspired me to practice using water colours more
So we have
 - Méduse (Human Sorcerer) as a Christmas Elf
 - Isvara (Aasimar Warlock) as a Snowman
 - Nexus (Tiefling Cleric/Monk) as a Reindeer
 - Zaharius (Yuan-ti Wizard) as Santa Claus
 - Wilfert (Human Cleric) as Mrs Claus
These roles hint to the dynamics in the party too ;)

For Halloween yesterday I drew my two DND characters but swapped their outfits! Amados is an aasimar so he likes wearing backless singlets to give his wings space, Méduse on the other hand is VERY self-conscious of his body so he dislikes how uncovered Amados’s outfit is. They’re pretty much opposite personalities too >,> anyways Happy Halloween!

When thinking of the two campaigns I play in they have themes associated with them that were never spoken of but come into light the longer we play.
In Lunaris we are a group of people who are learning to overcome the hurt that was done to us by others and how to be our own person. Each character is on their own path of recovery and gaining personal strength.
In Ivoria we are a group of people who have always been alone, either by choice or not, and we are learning the value of opening up to others and gaining friendships. Each character is learning how to engage with others and enjoy a sense of community.

I just had the worst moment of stepping out of the shower and being hit by the realisation that I willingly volunteered my wild magic sorcerer for a magic competition in which there is a real chance that he could turn into a POT PLANT or FIREBALL HIMSELF mid fight
