Street Fair (1/1) (jegulus)

"It's just a little market, they said it'll be fun they said." Regulus muttered to himself as he walked through the crowed streets of the what was arguably the busiest street fair he had ever been too.

It was beautiful day but it was being ruined by the fact that everywhere he turned there was a human, often bumping into him or walking in his way. It was loud and it there was music blaring from somewhere but the crowd was so dense he couldn't see any band.

He kept losing his brother and James, he often couldn't even see Remus even though he typically towered over everyone. He finally had enough when someone bumped into him and they spilt some sticky drink near him. Heaven only knows what would have happened if it had landed on him.

"James," he said sternly, trying to call him.

Because James was tethered to Regulus he turned immediately, head searching briefly for Regulus m, eyes lighting up when they landed on his love and then immediately widening when he saw that Regulus was at his end.

James pushed through a few people and reached his hand out to grab Regulus'. Regulus involuntarily untensed as James unfurled his hand from his crossed arms. He couldn't help it, James made him melt.

"Hey love," he said one he was close enough.

"James..." Regulus said again. His stormy grey eyes betrayed him as they pleaded for help instead of shooting daggers.

"How about we get you a coffee, yes?" James said already pulling him in that direction.

"What about-" Regulus started, but James cut him off.

"We will find Remus and Sirius after," James interrupted. "And yes we will even though it's a big crowd," James added completing Regulus' thoughts.

James maneuvered through the crowd with ease, pulling Regulus along, and had ordered and paid for Regulus' coffee before he could even see the booth.

Regulus held it in his hands after he took a sip, his lips turning up into a smile as he realized he was cranky partially because of the crowd and partially because he had not had any breakfast.

"Better?" James asked.

"Mhmm," Regulus said taking another sip. "Oh bread!" Regulus said quickly, not walking toward a table from the French bakery he liked.

In hindsight, James should have started with the coffee for Regulus, knowing a morning market would mean Regulus would chose sleeping in over breakfast, a chronic mistake. But he couldn't help but smile as he watched Regulus begin to enjoy himself.

I don’t know if it is by design but Jang Uk’s half lidded eyes is a great detail. It’s as if he wants to close his eyes but he can’t help looking at her face. His thumb caressing her cheek and hands craddling her neck. Just like I said before, there is gentleness, and sensuality to the way he moves his hands.

This is the longest kiss I have come accross in a kdrama / asian drama. It’s just a couple of seconds shy of a minute! Yeah... I checked!!! For comparison, some only last 14 seconds.

i wish you could leave comments on a person’s ao3 profile because i was just stalking someone’s bookmarks (as you do) and this person has little comments for nearly every bookmark they got which in turns helps ME decide if i wanna read the fic because of how they reacted to it, and i just wanna tell them hey man, it’s pretty cool you do that, i bet the authors love seeing you gush over it too
