No dogs barking, no wife asking me things, and laying on the couch soaking it all in. I forgot what it’s like being alone and having the whole ass house to myself. When I was single in my 20’s I didn’t realize how good it was. Yeah loneliness and boredom would eat at me, but that was easy to fix. Now I’m old and relish the quiet moments. But hey I’m going to a four day road trip with punk rock and drinking and smoking and cussin and boobs and hooty hoot and hey hey watch your hands and wait what did I just say? Anyways I’m looking forward to this trip because we’re meeting up with our people the Canadians and New Yorkas and the nice couple from Bah Habbah so it’ll be a mini reunion of weirdos.
