and sorry it took me so long to answer it, but here we go:
1.Who is/are your comfort characters?
So, like, this question is the reason i took some time to answer because i figured i had to reply with a character from a show/game/book/movie/etc. and while i do have fave characters i don't think i have actual comfort characters from any existing franchise. instead, i think my comfort characters are some of my own OCs; specifically Tix and Hal.
so, yeah, i know that this is probably not exactly what the question asked for, but it's the only answer that makes 100% sense for me uvu;;
9.Which do you prefer: Hot coffee or cold coffee?
i actually don't like the taste of coffee at all, so neither. if i had to choose i'd choose cold coffee since i also don't really like hot drinks in general.

An entire movie based on my favorite album from my favorite band with an introspective exploration of art and imagination? Yes, please! (i WILL cry but it still comforts me)
4. Labyrinth (1986)
I kin Sarah lowkey... the whole movie makes me feel like i belong. Plus the music is amazing too

Gorgeous gorgeus film with a message about the importance of stories that makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside

Currently reading: Assorted fanfic. I'm planning to read Momo by Michael Ende during my upcoming vacation. It was a gift from mum, who insists that I haven't had a childhood until I read it 🙃

Currently working on: That ACoS chapter I thought about scrapping but ultimately decided to keep bc its consequences are too important for the ACoS parts after it. Also, I'm drawing a fluffy Savos/Rashkan modern AU picture.

I was tagged by @foxinthewheatfield (thank you very much, my dear friend) to share a song I like from a movie soundtrack.
It’s not an easy choice, but being a huge Nightwish fan, I guess that they are a perfect choice, considering that two of their best songs appear in two finish movies.
Scaretale: This one appears in a rather wonderful movie called "Imaginaerum", that happens to feature the entire line-up of Nightwish in minor or major roles (actually, the story itself was co-written by Nightwish's mastermind', Tuomas Holopainen, who also wrote the soundtrack). This song also appears in an Nightwish album with the same tittle as the movie, being this (in my humble opinion) the band's best album. This song alone is a masterpiece.

Vibing to music today and doing a full listen through and ahhhh it's so good
the instrumental tracks alone are great, and even the score for the movie stands enough on its own for me that I keep it in the rotation since there are some arrangement I'm particularly fond of

Anette Olzon ❣️ Nightwish honors album without mentioning Anette Olzon and singer manifests on November 11, 2022 Symphonic metal band Nightwish made an Instagram post to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the "Imaginaerum" movie/album release. The problem is that the singer Anette Olzon did not appear in the tribute photos. The fans decided to complain in the comments and one of them even said that the reason for the absence would be because she Anette did not want to appear in future publications of the band. 1. What's your phone wallpaper? A photo of my irl boyfriend! Not posting it here for his own privacy but I promise you he looks very hot
2. Favorite singer? Our king of kings and captain of captains, Aurelio Voltaire
3. Favorite band? Nightwish! They honestly changed my life and their album Imaginearum came out at a moment when I needed it the most.
4. Favorite character of all time? Dear fucking lord this is a tough one. Everyone who follows me knows I adore Charles, but he's my favorite in the sense that I want to be with him! Regarding characters whom I relate to or otherwise embody what I'd like to be, there's too many of them to count.
5. Favorite book? A kidlit novel called La Domadora de Miedos by Guadalupe Alemán Lascurain. Not terribly obscure, but I doubt you'll find it outside of Mexico.
6. Favorite movie? Oh god. Again I can't decide on only one from my top four. It's tie between Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame (1996), Imaginaerum (2012), The Little Prince (2015), and Kubo and the Two Strings (2016). Although Labyrinth (1986) is steadily climbing its way to have this become a top five lmao
7. Favorite actor/actress? I don't know enough about them to really feel drawn to any in particular tbh
8. Favorite YouTuber? This thing is really set out to be a nightmare for indecisive people right? For fun facts and education I love Ask A Mortician. Rewatching Imaginaeurum and re-remembering how shockingly good this film is, in bold contrast to how everyone thought it was basically gonna be a 90 minute music video
#nightwish#imaginaerum#like the writing can be on the nose at times but it’s a really powerful and touching story#and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a movie quite like it#the parts inside Thomas’ imagination are so GORGEOUS#better-animated than half of Disney’s live actions lol#The Snowman in particular looks fucking incredible#so cool and creepy#I still can’t believe Nightwish just went ‘we’re making a movie’ and the mad lads fuckin did it#and managed to make me cry with it too#I don’t gush about them often these days but. truly how does one group of people manage to have SO much talent.
