A/N: I'm sorry that it took such a long time for me to write but I was battling with stress and life lately, and now that I'm fine, I started to have so many ideas but I need to finish request and write the chapters that had been waiting for ages in my documents lol.

And thank you everyone, who waited patiently!

We all know Talbott is a silent boy, he prefers to stay away from trouble unlike a certain person that has his interest, but it doesn't mean that he doesn't have an adventurous side of him.

Yet, I still believe that he likes to have some kind of... control? When doing something? Like, yeah, he takes risks.

Just not extreme risks

Or, if you were to introduce him to some muggle vehicles, I think he would love to ride a bike with you and watch as your laugh would be carried to hus ears as the sight of you all happy and glowing would consume him.

Yeah, our boi definetly has a way with words.

Except the point that he made you swear to never talk about the first time he tried it as you showed how to bike, and he fell hard while being busy admiring you in return.

You, of course, accepted it with a giggle but not without crossing your finger because Bill demanded he had to know everything about your date.

He also swoons whenever you beat someone's ass in dueling. There were many times you rocked people's shits, especially Merula's since she always demanded one only to loose, to the point that no one actually stood a chance against you and refused to train.

Crochet? Amazing, could you make a hat or a swan plushie? Draw? Excellent! Maybe you could teach me a few things, dove? You want to deceive the first years by playing an innocent game? Well, it's not like him... But he would be down with it anyways, especially after the ultimate "puppy eyes" weapon.

For some reasons, I see his whole vibe with you as Harry Style's "Golden" song 😭😭🥰🥰

It's literally the song that phrases your relationship!

"I know you were way too bright for me/ I'm hopeless, broken, so you wait for me in the sky..."

Since he didn't have his parents from a young age, and that they were killed right in front of him, Talbott had difficulties with associating himself with people around him.

That doesn't mean he hated them, or didn't want to talk. He did, he really did... He just didn't know how, and was scared that they would be gone too.

Especially early in your "friendship" that he often denied, but secretly liked the taste of the word on his tongue, he pushed and pushed people away, especially you... until only he was left.

But hey, it was a good thing that you were a persistent little shit because not only you were able to befriend him and show the true colors of life, show him that many people cared about him, you also took his heart and soul for yourself... like, for good.

Yeah, Talbott is definetly one of those rare guys who would stay loyal to his partner until the day he died and then even more.

If there was one thing you never expected from him by how he seemed so reserved, it was the fact that he was clingy when alone. Like, eagle boy would do anything to cuddle, hold hands with you, kiss and hug and do anything you ask for.

His hand holding is much more frequent than other forms of PDA. Talbott isn't very keen on them, since he hates attention, but hand holding under the table disecretly happens a lot.

He sits with you during breakfast and dinner, evennif you were in a different house, and your friends tease you for it affectionately.

He especially hold your hand thightly when he feels overwhelmed, or sad because of remembering his mother... to feel grounded, because he often feels like he lives in auto mode where he doesn't actually know what he is doing and doesn't have control.

That's when you step in.

When that happens, and Talbott usually tries to make it all go away through drowning himself in his studies, you would often look for him in thr library. But since he didn't want you to disturb your own peace just to find him, and he also didn't want to be found in a fragile state, he would go for less predictable areas.

He knew it saddened you whenever he refused to talk about his problems, he was aware and it broke his heart too... But he was scared.

You were the best thing that happened to him, even when he thought and still thinks he wasn't worth being loved, even when he thought he wouldn't find any ounce of happiness... Because why would he? He didn't have anyone left from his family at such a young age, his other relatives didn't care much and he was bad at socialising.

He fought and fought, but for what?

But then you came, stubbornly wanting to be his friend... Alongside the huge friend group you brought, and now he had a lot to loose but also a lot he gained.

He didn't understand why someone like you, the hero of Hogwarts, would find anything in him to activelly seek out to be friends with him...

But whatever it was, he was glad. Glad for your stubborn heart, glad because thanks to you, he found a new family.

You healed his aching heart with your sweet smiles, reassuring words and selflessness. Slowly but surely, you settled deep in his heart and after time, he realized he loved you... Immensely.

He couldn't pinpoint the exact moment obviously, but maybe... he always loved you, while watching from afar... While you won Quidditch, solved the mysteries about the Vaults, saved the school one many times... Or how you achieved more than average witch in your age, or how you risked your whole school life just to help him find the necklace of his mother.

Perhaps he realized right then and there that yes, he was in love with you and yes, he was already too deep to get out of that hole that was love.

And he didn't want to, for he was used to darkness when you came with the light of your eyes and heart, and saved him.

He could never be that boy he once was, and he didn't want to. Because now, he had you and a future to hold on to.

You both were the ones who confessed first, under the night sky as you both blushed at the cliche sight but you were content, happy to call this amazing, kind, thoughful and strong boy your lover.

Like I said before, there are a lot of things he wants to do with you: Travel together, have late night dinner dates, go to a beach, have a little cabin at the outskirts of Scotland...

But above all... There is one thing he wants to do with you the most one thing that often has him blushing and unable to sleep.

Grow old with you.

NOW TO THE FUN PART, ENOUGH DEPRESSING

Whenever you try to find him, out of class and studying sessions you both have, he is in the Owlery and all the owl LOVES him! Like really, whenever you two hang out in the school grounds, a flock of them comes and finds him and perches on both of your shoulders happily while picking on your hairs or hiding behind them in a way of playing with you.

He loves jewelries, mostly necklaces and bracelets, so whenever you buy something for yourself, he demands one too.

And he also loves matching with you too, so any necklaces, he's matching with you. It's one of the subtle ways of telling everyone that you/he was taken.

All the teachers and your friends knew you two would be end game, from how in love you both seemed and how Talbott started to smile genuinely after such a long time.

But what sealed it for you both was when he asked you to come to the Owlery, that he had an important thing to say and hive to you.

Imagine your surprise when he looked at you so softly and offered the necklace that had his mother's swan feather, accompanied with the pendants of his initials.

"This necklace used to be the sign of all the things I lost, a reminder of death... But I know my mum would have wanted you to have it, the girl who means so much to me, who I imagine my life to be spent with... I want this to be the sign of our love and my loyalty to you, for you to carry on your neck and hopefully never take it out... If you will have it and me..."

Like I said, he is a one-woman kind of boy and when you start a relationship and things started to get serious and deep, Talbott wouldn't shy away from hinting at marriage and a life together.

Because if this didn't show you the depth of his love, I don't know what would.

Another cute gesture he does with you, especially in like 6th or 7th year, is to wrap his arms around you from behind and put his chin on top of your head after laying a tender kiss there. ( why do boys get so much taller in like a few months when I'm stuck at the same height for the rest of my life 😭)

You two often visit and stay until late in the Owlery. That place had become some kind of a safe space for you both, where you can be with each other in silent, read books or simply feed the owls happily.

You liked reading books by yourself, but when your boyfriend had a raspy voice and was food at imitations of the characters, you didn't have to do anything except laying back on his chest as you buried yourself in his smell as he read to you, thightenung his hold on your frame.

But just as you loved being read to, he actually likes it as well. He is just bad at showing and telling that. But whenever you see him looking at a book, then at you with a pout, you know what he wants.

And who were you to deny him of that when he looked so cute?

Madam Pince, even though she resented you for pranking her and was close to banning you from the library, was now looking at you and your boyfriend softly because one, you finally weren't there to break the rules but rather trully reading and two, you also helped her clean the library with Talbott too.

But none of you needed to know.

Now that I mentioned her, all the teachers have had bets about your love life. Like when one of you will confess, when you will have a kiss, when you will have a date etc.

And quite creepily, Minerva and Flitwick almost all the time knows when and where and wins quite a few galleons.

Snape couldn't care less, because he hated your guts... Or mayyybee he was slightly interested since you gifted him a cake and offered good mornings every day even though he would snap and he started to not hate you but just dislike.

Sprout was just happy to see her two favourite students together, alongside with Minerva, and offered her blessing with an enchanted flower that would never wilt.

But Dumbledore? Oh, he always knew from the start and didn't bother with such childish act... but he had bets going on with others in the ministry soo~ (Don't get me wrong, I still hate him.)

You know when Hermione said that girls could get in boys' dormitory but they couldn't enter girls'?

Yeah, there were many times you did that, at the beginning for cuddles... And later in your last year, for different things *wink wink*

Ehem, another act he loves doing are ( and I need to say, if a man did that to me, I would simply melt) taking your hand in his and putting it on his chest, where his heart is and kissing your forehead and lingering his lips there for a few seconds more.

Just imagine the feels and how hard your heart would beat I-

FLOWERS! YOU BOTH GIVE EACH OTHER FLOWERS ALL THE TIME!

You giving him flowers actually has a funny story because you thought he wouldn't like them, especially early in your relationship

But you couldn't help but think that daisies would look good on his dark, long hair

So you hastily went to Hogsmeade, came back in a hurry and sent a letter to him through your owl to meet you in the Owlery

It was definetly worth seeing the dark red tint on his skin when tou explained why you wanted to give him them

"I wanted to show you that I care and love you a lot, and flowers are a great way to show it, especially since I enchanted them!.. And by your reaction, I'll do that more in the future!"

And yes, you did so... Even after being married for such a long time, eventually having kid/s and in your 60-70

And he never stopped blushing and returning the gesture just as sweetly, always adding a little blessing and thanks to Merlin for bringing you into his life

This headcanons are already taking so long so I'll stop here before it gets out of control lol

And I'll go and continue crying at the corner because I don't have a Talbott in my life 🥺

28 Days until Tears of the Kingdom Release!!!!!!! I've spent hours talking with several of my friends about yesterday's trailer. I have so many theories and questions but since I can't have any of them answered until the game comes out, I'll share some of them with you. Instead of posting all of the analysis at once, however, I'll do it in smaller chunks over the next few days. Spoilers below if you wanna avoid trailer stuff.

I mean the first thing I noticed was the Chu-chu (my friend said they are called Slimes in German) fighting the construct. I find it fascinating that these constructs fight other mobs. Did the Zonai build them just to fight monsters or all intruders? What do they register Link as? An invader? I wonder if there is a game mechanic that convinces the constructs not to attack Link or maybe only sentry constructs attack Link and all other constructs must be triggered in a combat trial or something.

This robot is chopping down a tree. I noticed that some of the constructs in the gameplay trailer ignored Link. I'm guessing that these are specifically worker constructs. They remind me of the mining robots in Skyward Sword.

After this I enjoyed the music and Link's awesome dive through the air. I don't have much to say about that except my friend wondered why Link isn't constantly cold all the time if he's that high up. I'm chalking it up to Sky Island magic.

Mushrooms in Hateno. I think some of them are real and others are just decorations. Gives me Minish cap vibes. I wonder if their is a specific mushroom shop or maybe there is a festival going on? Idk maybe the towns people just wanted some color.

TENTS. The way I almost screamed because they are rebuilding. It makes me so emotional to see that the people of Hyrule were rebuilding from the Calamity. To see the Guardians and malice gone from the courtyard is just ugh my heart. My friend hopes that Nintendo lets us explore some of rebuilt Hyrule before things go to shit again and Ganondorf wrecks everything and I agree. However, I have a feeling that Nintendo will not let us explore the half built castle as part of a tutorial before waking up the angry mummy in the basement. I can dream though.

Another look at that spiral shrine thing. I really really want to know what those are. Also lmao looks like a sky island fell and got wedged sideways. I guess its something interesting to look at for the people in Kakariko.

Alright so this structure rising out of the ground in the desert is probably in the Arbiters ground area. I'm not gonna say dungeons confirmed but I've absolutely heard other people say it. I thought it might be related to the structures in Twilight Princess (cough maybe the Twili) but my friend suggested the dungeon in Skyward Sword which also rises from the ground. Either way I'm excited to explore it.

We've seen many shots of the castle rising but I really appreciate seeing the Sheikah here reacting to it as well. It makes the world feel more real and the trailer of course did a great job at including NPCs. I do still wonder what exactly the falling rocks are and why they continue to fall throughout the game.

This figure looks so much like Demise. It's tempting to think that this is Ganondorf considering we see him later in the trailer. However, I'm gonna stick to the idea that we might be seeing both characters. Although, maybe Demise will only be in flashbacks/visions of the past. It would be fun if Ganondorf in the final fight morphs into more of a Demise form.

This one was just cruel. Link is gonna be so devastated at having failed to catch/protect Zelda and he tried so hard. I hope he quickly learns that Zelda isn't dead because he's gonna be racked with guilt either way.

For as much as Nintendo loves showing that they dropped Zelda off a cliff, I'm glad that they showed the yellow glow. Since her hand is glowing I'm wondering if her triforce powers saved her which is certainly a possibility. However, there is another possibility. Zelda looks like she's holding something in her hand. I think that she found the little golden recall stone/tear and when she fell it activated. Time travel is looking very possible.

as a countdown to my anniversary this year, i wanna try doing this challenge by mvmmoney on twitter

instead of doing them daily, i'll be doing them a row at a time<3

First character that caught your eye:

asmo! when i first saw him in the intro, i actually didn't recognize him from the profile card!

overall, asmo's aesthetic is exactly my type? and when i was going into the game, although mams and levi's introduction cards were what sold me (in thinking this was a game with the ultimate worst suitors), i hadn't actually chosen a character i was gonna go for yet. so when i saw this guy who was so clearly my type in the intro, i fell head over heels for him immediately!

.......and then a few minutes into actually playing the game i learned he was the avatar of lust and immediately dropped him pfft

A character you can relate to a lot:

surprising no one at all, levi. he's a shut in, he has a negative self image (although im nowhere near as hard on myself as he is? pfft), he's a huge weeb, and he talks way too much about things only he cares about. i mean, even down to having a pet that i interact with more often than other human beings.

it's a major reason why i hated him so much when i first started playing pfft

What card do you really want to own?:

i only talk about it, like, every single day or something. i went broke pulling on this banner, and never got a single one! i've cooled down a bit about belphie (although that might change come NBs3) but i hated him (and sol) as much as i hate sol now. but i only got those two when i pulled on this banner😔

im not very interested in the card art, and i'm not even all that sore about the outfit that comes with it. i've heard a lot of good things about the devilgram!! i really REALLY want to read this devilgram!!!

If you could add a new feature, what would it be?:

trade between players, definitely. also, a claim all button for the daily missions in the og app, and the affection system giving you a strength boost for the character's cards.

Who would you kiss, marry, avoid?:

avoid: belphie, solomon, lucifer, satan.

marry: barbatos (maybe...), levi, beel.

kiss: mammon (sorry mams. i love ya, but not enough to ruin my financial future<3)

"Is everything ok?" You're worried. You were sat playing on your phone with some other members there when Leader Yeji suddenly asked you to come to her room with her. It wasn't light hearted either. She sounded like this was going to be a serious talk. That feeling was made worse when she asked Chaeryeong to leave so you could be alone. After she'd left, you'd asked if everything was ok. "Sit down I need to get something off my chest." Hesitantly, you do as the alpha requested, sitting on the edge of her bed. Yeji grabbed a chair to sit directly in front of you.

"I've been thinking a lot recentl- well, for a long time actually. I'd noticed something about me that I didn't really like." Her voice was low and serious. "Yeji you'r-" "Please, just listen for now... I need to get this all out first then we can talk about it after." She pleaded with her eyes as well as her voice so the omega in you submits. You nod your head to tell her to continue.

"As our leader, I want to protect all of you. I want to love all of you. I want to respect all of you. Equally... but that's not happening. I can't decide these emotions and I love all the other members equally but you. You're so much more to me. I really like you... In more than a friend way." Yeji leans forward, resting her elbows on her knees, taking her hands in yours and looking into your eyes.

"I tried to deny it for so long because a leader should love all her members equally and who know what will happen with our careers.... but I can't hold it in anymore. I want to be your alpha."

Lia

You had a break from schedules and were lazing about at the dorms, in your room playing games all day. You'd stay there all day but you need snacks. Leaving the room you heard muffled voices that cleared up as you got closer to the living room. You froze in the doorway when you heard what Lia was saying.

"Why does she have to be so cute all the time though!! She isn't even trying!! She'll literally just be talking about what to eat for dinner and I wanna squish her little face in." Yeji was sat on the floor listening to Lia ramble and pace back and fourth in front of her. You'd never seen Lia when she had a crush so you stayed quiet and kept watch. With a massive sigh, Lia asked the question on her mind. "Is it bad to date a fellow member?" She likes a different member?? You think. Yeji stared at her for a few seconds then mumbled a sad "I don't know." Lia's head dropped as another sigh fell out. "I'm never going to have y/n as my omega, am I?" Wait. She likes me!?

Lia, still with slumped shoulders and bowed head, she goes to slug off towards her room..... but you're still there in the doorway. Panicked, she blurts out "How much of that did you hear!?"

Ryujin

You're sat watching a drama in the living room snuggled up with Chaeryeong. Sat on the floor wrapped up in the same blanket as her like a giant burrito with her laptop playing the show on the coffee table. You're both so absorbed in the show that it terrifies the both of you when Ryujin storms past and down the corridor to your room. Chaeryeong leans forward to pause the show as you both stare down the corridor to where Ryujin had just been. You look back and ask "Did something happen?" but Chaeryeong had no answer either. You decide to go and check on her.

Knocking on the door gently to let her know you're there, you walk in to her looking herself in the mirror. "You ok?" You stand next to her leaning into the desk she's sat at. "Yeah, I'm fine. It's nothing anyway." With one last ruffle of her hair, she pushes away from the mirror and over to the dresser where she keeps her pajamas. Normally, cracking a joke makes Ryujin forget and eases the tension so you try it now. "Oh! My memory has suddenly gone and nothing happened.... Why am I in here to comfort you?" She let's out one chuckle with her back turned to you and nothing else follows.

Joking didn't work so it's time to be serious. You let out a sigh and try reassuring her. "Ryujin, please tell me what's wrong." With pajamas in hand, she goes to leave your room but not before whispering "It's stupid anyway..." Ryujin hoped you didn't hear but when you slammed the door shut she knew you had. "It's never stupid if it's bothering you this mu-" She cuts you off and starts speaking sarcastically but you can tell what she's saying is truthful. "Oh yeah, because having feelings for a band mate isn't stupid at all and getting annoyed when she's cuddling with anothet member is completely normal and struggling to share a room with someone you like is very natural even though you've shared a room with them for, like, 3 years now.... Yeah... That sounds so normal."

Caught off guard, she passes by you and out the door easily while your stunned. You know she's probably taking a shower so you wait for her by snuggling up in bed.... Hers not yours.

Chaeryeong

You knock gently on Chaeryeong's door, knowing that Yeji was in the kitchen and she was alone in there. "Hello?" You hear from the other side. "Can I come in?" A second of silence. "...Yeah!" Nudging open the door and slipping in, you spot Chaeryeong sat up on the bed, awkwardly watching you. She'd look at you for a second, then away, then back and away again. She'd completely avoid eye contact when you sit next to her.

"Is everything ok?.... Like... Between us..?" Chaeryeong had been acting different throughout all your schedules today, not talking to you unless necessary, sitting with other members every chance she got and was consistently avoiding you all day. From memory, you hadn't said anything to upset her so it was confusing as to what brought this on.

Chaeryeong sighed as her shoulders fell and head fell into her hands, defeated. "None of this is your fault... It's all me.. I'm not doing this because I don't like you, I'm doing this because I like you too much." Her face was still buried in her hands so you couldn't see her reaction nor her see yours. You were frozen in shock until a few gentle sobs broke into your ears. "How can I have a crush on one of my members!?"

Instinctively, you hug her. Her face still buried in her hands and your face buried in her hair.

Yuna

"Like why does it have to be so difficult!?" You're walking back and forth in Yuna's room complaining about the dance practice earlier today. There's this one move you just can't seem to wrap your head around and it's really bothering you so you needed to rant to someone. Yuna ended up being your victim. "Like how in the WORLD am I meant to swing my leg over while both hitting my foot against the floor and NOT hitting my foot agai-"

Your brain shuts off completely when Yuna is suddenly in front of you, pulling her face into hers and attatching your lips together. Sweet, soft, coffee scented lips on yours. Randomly. She waits until she feels you relax and kiss back a little, then she pulls away and explains. "Ugh! I've wanted to do that for so long.... You don't know how much I like you." This time you lean in, already too addicted to the feeling of her lips on yours.

summary: the one where ej and andy reunite after years when they're cast as love interests, finally rekindling their friendship and maybe getting something else out of it as well

They all sat around in rehearsals as Nini and Ricky performed 'Start of Something New'

The bell went and EJ jumped up, cheering. Andy and Ashlyn, who were sitting next to each other, looked up at him confused.

"Sorry. I really love thanksgiving," he announced, everyone laughing.

"I know everyone is excited for the holiday break but I'm me and I have notes," Miss Jenn said with a laugh, "Your homework is to please go on vocal rest,"

"Dont mind me, I just came to return some missing items," Mr Mazzara said as he walked into the room to Andy and Ashlyn.

"Ashlyn, Andy, couldn't have our robotics team co-captians going home without their binders," he said, handing the girls their stuff.

There was a lot people don't know about them, the girls did so many extracurriculars.

Andy and Ashlyn were in the robotics club, drama club and they were part of the Salt Lake Renaissance Fair. Ashlyn was also in the baking club and debate team whilst Andy did AV club.

They were all talking about Thanksgiving, listening to Miss Jenn talk to Mr Mazzara about food.

There was definitely something going on between them that clearly they hadn't talked about to each other.

"That sounds nice, my family have three protein courses and then everybody's asleep by 6," Carlos explained, Andy walking over to him, Big Red and Ashlyn.

"My folks start eating at dawn and they barely make it past the Macys parade,' Big Red said.

"My family eat and then we watch the entirety of Sound of Music," Andy explained with a chuckle, "My dad was Austrian so,"

She loved her family traditions but after her dad's death, it didn't make much sense anymore and the traditions just felt useless. At the mention of her dad, her face fell. She missed him like crazy and on occasions like this, it was made even worse.

"Well at least your folks are sticking around. EJs parents are treating my parents to a spa in Park City after dinner tomorrow." Ashlyn explained to them with a fake smile.

"If I could ring Cash Caswells neck just once in my life I would die happy," Andy explained, Ashlyn laughing unshamelessly, she didn't like her uncle either.

"Wait, do you guys wanna come over after dinner tomorrow?" Ashlyn offered.

"I never don't want that." Carlos said before he started to yell out, "Party at Ashlyns after thanksgiving tomorrow! Everyone's invited!

Everyone sat in Ashlyns house before Carlos walked in, "The party may begin!" he yelled out, holding something weird.

"You know this is a pot luck and not catering right?" Andy said as she helped him bring his box to the table. She'd only brought muffins.

"This is not food. This is something I've been waiting hears to share with the world. This is High School Musical, the Choosical!" He announced, opening the board game.

She looked at it in awe. It was so detailed, like monopoly on crack. There were hints to the original films everywhere and it was amazing.

"When I was a child, I wanted to go into the movie but the movie was on a screen so I made the next best thing," Carlos explained, a light blush on his face.

"So you've had this for ten years?" Big Red questioned, looking at it.

"And I've never actually played it,' Carlos admitted with a laugh.

"Okay, we'll totally play it," Ashlyn said, staring at all of the parts of the game.

"Okay, so there are two teams. The east high wildcats and the West High knights," he said, letting them sort each other out.

Andy watched as Ashlyn sat next to Big Red, the two getting cosy. When they heard the door go, the two girls raced to it.

They saw EJ who hugged both girls, "I brought some lobster dip. I double dibbed a few times and I feel bad about it but I feel great about telling you two," he explained.

"Hello, I'm Andy, this is your cousin Ashlyn, and you are?" Andy asked sarcastically, not knowing where this EJ came from or why he was being so honest.

"I'm trying out the whole honesty thing," he explained and she nodded, showing him where to put the food.

He placed it down, listening to her, "Honesty was never your strong suit EJ," she stated.

"I'm trying," he said, and she believed him

They walked back, everyone sitting down around the table. Andy explained everything about the game to EJ and he joined her team, East High Wildcats

"Okay, there are four basic categories. Trivia challenge, dance challenge, sync challenge and the glee challenge," he explained, "West High knights pick first,"

"Okay, we're gonna look for glee," Ashlyn said after the team confered.

Carlos picked up a card, clearing his throat, "As fast as you can, sing the lyrics to What I've been looking for to the rhythm of Getcha head in the game,"

They finally did it, everyone laughing at it. Andy thought it was amazing, the team bonding in this way.

She had never had this tight knit group of friends before, people that she could trust no matter what was happening.

"Congratulations, you move four spaces closer to center stage," Carlos said, the team cheering.

"Wildcats, take a spin," he said and EJ leaned over, spinning the thing before it landed on Bop to the top.

"Okay, pick one member from each team," Carlos said and they picked EJ and Ricky, "Your challenge is to stare at your partner and do the Sharpay and Ryan warm-up thing, without laughing or killing each other for sixty second,"

Carlos yelled go and they started doing it, very aggressively. It was shocking that they weren't laughing yet because everyone else was.

Andy though it was hilarious, a smile on her face as she watched them battle it out.

It was strange seeing her best friend and her old best friend fighting against each other for points. But she'd never been happy.

After what felt like hours of the most fun playing, there was a tie, "According to the rules, the only way to resolve a tie is with a lightning speed round of trivia questions," Carlos explained.

"Name both Jersey numbers Troy wears in the movies?" he said.

"Oh, uh, fourteen and ten,' Big Red said and everyone looked at him confused, "I watched it a lot,"

"How does Gabriella describe herself when she's complaining to her mum?" Carlos asked, reading out the next question.

"As the schools freaky genius girl!" Ashlyn replied everyone laughing at the joke she made afterwards.

"Wildcats, who's red tie does Miss Darbus compliment at auditions?" He asked, turning to them.

"Allen?" EJ called out and Andy laughed turning to him, not knowing how he got it right. But they were awkwardly close and he was surprised she hadn't caught him.

"I looked it up on my phone. I can't stop cheating and I'm sorry," he said and the West High knights won.

Carlos gave Gina the pin to signify her team won, everyone getting in for the picture before she got a call from her mum.

She put her mum on speaker, everyone yelling happy thanksgiving out, "Gina, honey, can you take me off speaker?" Her mum asked.

Gina walked out, obviously going to talk to her mum about something or other. The air became awkward and nobody quite knew what to say.

They all heard that Gina was moving, Ricky going out to talk to her. And on that note the party ended.

EJ gave Andy a lift home seeing as the party had ended earlier than assumed. But as they sat in the car, there was an awkward silence.

"Thanks for driving me home," Andy said, "EJ?"

She turned to see he was staring at her phone, and in his screen were hate comment about how being honest wasn't cute.

"Eej," she said after seeing that and he looked up, turning off his phone.

"Its nothing Andy," he said before opening the door to his car.

"Its obviously something, talk to me," she said, leaning over.

She knew him long enough to be able to tell when he was upset. There was something wrong, and it was more than his bruised reputation.

He sighed, "Its just, I want to be honest. And look where that got me, I've lost over 600 followers," he explained, running a hand through his hair in frustration.

"Those people don't matter, the people tonight who care about you matter," she said and he nodded his head, smiling at her.

The words were enough for him to realise that she was right, he didn't need any of these followers to like him. He just needed her.

"Thanks Andy," he said and the two laughed about the night, a comfortable silence between the two.

He laughed, smiling at her. He hadn't felt like this before, like someone completely understood him.

And as he watched her walk into her house, he wanted to run up and tell her how he felt. But he was confused, not knowing what he felt in the first place.

Hey, I read the tags on a post and was wondering... what artifacts make Lily and PV's dynamic toxic? If it's about the love potion/love letter there is no confirmation that was something either of them did... there are a lot of artifacts in the museum that are just like. General stuff from the magic school before it fell-- most of the artifacts related to Lily and PV and the ancients specifically are in the history section.

For those of you who don't really care about Cookie Run Kingdom, have a Read More bc this might be a little lengthy lol

(also, purelily shippers, you guys might wanna avoid reading this one)

So I wanna preface this with a few things:

1.) I haven't finished everything the game has to offer yet! I went through the Tower of Sweet Chaos' story, but I'm actually stuck on Raspberry Cookie in 11-27, so depending on what happens, my opinion could change and I could just look like a fool here lmao

2.) In those tags, current dynamic = Pure Vanilla and Dark Enchantress (who's also White Lily)'s dynamic I don't dislike the purelily ship or look down on anyone who does. I actually really fascinated by their history, haha. But personally, my heart's not set on shipping them in their current state because uhh... as far as I know, Dark Enchantress is currently trying to kill Pure Vanilla atm.

That said, lemme spill some of my thoughts on the relics here bc I've actually been wanting to talk about them since I discovered them:

You're right in that there's no concrete evidence that these relics were theirs. No one knows for sure except the writers themselves. But on the flipside, there's also a concerning amount of detail that suggests it being a very real possibility that I haven't seen debunked yet.

One of the biggest concerns is how the Nameless Transcript is within this set of relics. It's titled as "Nameless", but it's strongly hinted that it's White Lily's, which makes you wonder if this set of relics is partially themed after her.

The other relic within the set that's also worth noting is the Lost Portrait. It's not as big of a concern as the Nameless Transcript, but it does solidify that at least several items in this set are themed after White Lily, since this specific portrait was a pivotal item in her backstory.

That aside, let's talk about the relics in question themselves, because those two have some interesting things going on as well.

Starting with Someone's Love Letter, this relic honestly feels like a direct parallel to Pure Vanilla's letter.

Thematically, this makes sense; the set of relics this letter's in is clearly themed after Pure Vanilla while the Love Letter's relic set is hinted to be themed after White Lily, and romantically or not, these two really loved each other at one point in their lives, friends or otherwise. But the thing is, Pure Vanilla always had a strong sense of morals, so it's highly doubtful he wrote the love letter, themes aside.

White Lily, on the other hand, was always shown to have good intentions, but highly questionable morals. She doesn't mind violating any rule she has to to get what she wants, as long as the end justifies the means (i.e sneaking into several forbidden areas of the academy, suggesting taking a piece of the 1st headmaster's soul, etc.).

But the idea of her making a love potion just to get Pure Vanilla's affection sounds way too sinister for White Lily, because despite all the damages she's caused, her intentions are still shown to be good-natured. Also, Devsis makes a conscious effort to make sure the relics match whatever subject they want to associate it with, and the love potion's aesthetic is vastly different from White Lily's design.

But remember that White Lily is also Dark Enchantress. The Tower of Sweet Chaos' story showed that Dark Enchantress isn't just White Lily possessed, brainwashed, or anything like that. She IS Dark Enchantress. Once she was out of the oven, she made a conscious decision to be who she wanted to be, which means the side of her that's Dark Enchantress has always existed within her, even back when she was White Lily. And what does Dark Enchantress look like?

Colors: Check Heart theme: Check (staff) Love theme: Check (Dark "Enchantress")

If this is all true, does it paint a real ugly picture regarding White Lily and Pure Vanilla's relationship? Yeah. Do I actually believe White Lily would actually do something like this though? Also yes. Depending on what the reason is and given her past actions, I don't think it'd be above her at this point.

I will say though; her motivations are usually well-intended, so it doesn't feel right to assume she'd do something like this out of pure whim. I don't know what that motivation is, but I'd like to believe that White Lily wouldn't do this anything like this without a good reason. My personal theory is that she either bought or made the potion herself, but not for sinister reasons.

Of course, I could be wrong about everything and those relics could really belong to some rando cookies lol. But when I say I can't bring myself to ship them much, this is kinda why :')

So, I have decided to formally retire from FireAlpaca and will not be revisiting any of my old works made on that app (just because of personal preference). SO, I've decided to share some of my favorite WIPs that I had hoped to finish once upon a time lol.

Here's another of my OC. I was going to make a super cool battle illustration with super cool effects and super cool lighting and I gave up almost instantly lol. SHE HAS NO WRISTS!!

This is one I made for Drawfest 2, like, 2 years ago now, I think. I thought it was coming along kinda nice except I couldn't get the perspective to look right so my character ended up looking huge lmao.

Here's ANOTHER of my OC. This one is really old lol. I've redesigned her now and I don't use this shading style anymore, so I retired this profile picture really early on.

Ok, last one of this OC. This was going to be one of many sprites that I was making to use in videos and stuff, but I, once again, lost my motivation hehe. Looks REALLY bad tho so idc.

Pico jumpscare I got really into Pico's school way back when and never saw any fanart for his death screen. So I wanted to try my hand at it. Got through the lineart before I decided I didn't like it and was not skilled enough to salvage it so I gave up. Might redraw this in the future though!

This was going to be a picture of Gregory and Freddy from FNaF Security Breach (made this around the time the game came out), but I quickly realized I couldn't draw animatronics and quit lol. You can kinda see the stripe on Gregory's shirt, but my sketching abilities back then were awful so it's a little hard.

This bean is a character from To Your Eternity, an anime I randomly found on Netflix once and fell in love with (I quit at the weird scene in the prison tho, remind me to finish it). MULTIFANDOM IDEAAAAA

So me and my sister were talking a few years ago, and I think one of us misspoke and said "Coffee shot" instead of "Coffee shop," so this AU was born.

It's a coffee shop called the Coffee Shot staffed by characters that love guns and have guns and shoot guns and I love them. The shop is frequented by characters from other franchises (in this case Danganronpa), and it's got the best coffee and the best theming you've ever seen >:)

And then this one is of the same two characters but based on a fanfic I read once. It was a Beauty and the Beast one. It was really fun to read. I liked it. It's on Wattpad if you're interested. I quit on this picture really quick tho. Made the sketch on Photoshop 2 years ago, transferred the sketch to FireAlpaca, then realized the sketch sucked and didn't bother trying again.

There's all my sketches. The ones that I'm willing to share, that is.

Let this be a lesson that not all of your pictures are going to go the way you want to. Your sketches are going to be messy, your lineart isn't going to match up, your colors are going to look funky, and your shading is going to want to make you rip out your hair sometimes.

I think what's important is to make sure that all that stuff doesn't discourage you.

If you give up all together, you'll never know what you'd've been able to produce if you hadn't.

If a picture isn't working for you, find out why. Then quit that picture, practice, and come back. You'll be able to compare yourself to your own art instead of other people's, which will give you a clearer sense of how far you've come.

I think I'll shoot to redraw some of these next year. I definitely want to come back to that Pico one, the style swap one, the Coffee Shot, and the Christmas one.

okay uuuhhhhhh currently Mötley Crüe and KISS are tied for the title of favourite band soooo. idk what to talk about honestly. all of the kiss band members make my heart happy, Eric Carr aka The Fox and Eric Singer as The Catman are the most adorable imho, and I loved finding out more of the band lore from that special edition magazine I bought recently! Their music makes me happy and I love hearing everyone's different styles depending on who worked most on which song, who sang it, etc.!!! And I adore all the band's different style phases! The darker more brutal metal sound, the poppy disco-y glam sound, the softer ballad style songs! 🥰

and for mötley crüe? MICK MARS IS MY FAVOURITE OLD MAN MY SWEET BABYGIRL MY DARLING! he's weird and strange but also cool and beautiful and I wanna steal his gender so bad. I wanna be like him when I grow up. Fun fact: what really drew me into the fandom side of things was a post praising Nikki's thighs, how he himself was self conscious over them and wanted skinny legs like his terror twin tommy but how the op of the post and many others(!) adore them! really helped my own body image issues regarding my thicc thighs :') also that one post praising Mick for sticking with the other 3 idiots (affectionate) for 40+ years, keeping the band alive even with his health issues and near death experience and I think that's when I first fell for my fav old man.

idk if it'd count as damaging my social skills (my childhood trauma has done a great job on that all on its own lol) but I was OBSESSED with Gwen Stefani's Love.Angel.Music.Baby album when I was 8 and it probably didn't help that none of my classmates (who already didn't like me for being a weirdo) were into her music lol

and though I've since learned of the problematic messages and Gwen's naive and ignorant justifications behind this album and its themes, it has still shaped younger me quite a lot 😅

Anon you caught me right before I was Abt to go to sleep but I can't not do this. It's for my girl (feel free to send me more while I sleep btw these r fun)

favorite thing about them: LITERALLY WHERE DO I EVEN START. She's one of my top ten protagonists of all times. I love the lessons she learns, the way she learns them, I love watching her grow and struggle and thrive. I love her so so so much. To keep things simple(ish) I will say that my favorite thing about Luz (which I've mentioned once or twonce before) is that she's an objectively cringey, very ND coded kid who's still given the utmost love and respect from the narrative. She gets to be objectively fucking uncool and this story still loves her. And it's nice it makes me feel loved by proxy

least favorite thing about them: I mean, I'd say in season 1 it's the tendency to flatten the boiling isles and it's people into 2 dimensional tropes for easily comprehension, but that's also one of my favorite flaws of Luz and the narrative always makes an interesting point out of this attitude. Maybe it's the suicidal ideation bc it really scared me the first time I watched thanks to them. I knew nothing bad was gonna happen (within reason), this is Disney, but I was like DAMN THEY'RE GOING THERE!!!

favorite line: okay I actually cannot in good conscious choose one bc my friend once informed me that me and Luz just. Talk the same. Same silly idioms and phrases same whimsical expressions and syntax same humour, etc etc. It's a chicken egg situation and do not know who started it but I know that it's frighteningly accurate. So I'll just go for the safe classic "the only thing I've ever really wanted was to be understood" bc. Y'know. Best moment in the whole show and everything

nOTP: Luz and Hunter. It's just really not for me, even if I can see why it appeals to others. I'm too attached to the familial reading of their dynamic and the doors that opens up analysis wise. Also my irl brother is a hunter kinnie and I just outlined my credentials for being a Luz kinnie so /j

random headcanon: she played guitar when she was younger! The one in the basement belonged to Manny and he'd sit her on his lap and show her simple chords and riffs. She got a ukulele so she could practice. Then when Manny died she fell off playing it bc it felt wrong doing it without him, even though she still played uke sometimes. She picks it back up though during the season 3 timeskip and post canon! Also she was born in New York and lived there til she was 2/3, at which point she moved around a few states until landing in Connecticut at the age we see in the thanks to them video diaries (I wanna say 7 or 8?)

unpopular opinion: I also think Luz gets characterized as more bitter/vengeful/surly than she really is, especially in fics set around season 3. She wants to be happy, to have fun with her friends, she just feels like doesn't deserve it. Also I low-key think Luz is like. A genius. Just in an unconventional way. She rediscovered a lost form of magic and then taught herself it all on her own. She probably struggles with long division but I mean it when I say she is literally a genius imo

Today marks my 3rd anniversary of taking hrt. My egg cracked October 2019, so this year I'll be coming up on year 4 of my transition.

In that time, I've chosen my new name, came out to my family and friends, started hrt, got my legal name changed (surprise, it isn't actually Alice!), updated all my documents and utilities, including my passport.

I've come a long way in my transition, and I feel like an important part of it has actually been mirrored in my FFXIV character. So, for this anniversary post I wanna showcase that part which, while intersecting only slightly with my real life, is still special to me and also in theme for this blog and I'm sorry, I'm not making a sideblog anytime soon to put all my irl talk or whatever.

Don't worry you don't need to know anything about the game other than you play with other people and can make your own character.

At the very start of my transition, I changed in-game from the male character I started as to a female character. Surprise, I was a black-haired sun kitty. And it instantly felt right and comfy, and I went through all of Heavensward to end game with her.

Since it was early in my transition, I was doing my best to move as far away from masculine appearances as I could in my life, and my online character followed suite. I liked how unapologetically feminine and cute she was!

Sadly few pictures of her, but here she is!

After reaching endgame, I started playing with her more. I changed her to a lizard girl. Around this time I would start hrt, and was starting to build my character's personal lore, trying to make her more of a person than an avatar.

I liked the idea that she was a trans woman like me, and that she was undergoing a fantasy version of hrt. It was especially amusing for me, since the male and female Au Ra models are so sexually dimorphic, the guys being huge while the ladies are all tiny. Growing up I was always very short compared to the boys around me. I gave her mismatched eyes, an-ingame sign of hrt use (it's magic that's all it needed to be). I love how serenely confident she looked in her femininity.

I love her RBF too.

Time passes, and as I'm coming up on my first year hrt anniversary, my anxieties around performing femininity and suppressing masculine tendencies were beginning to relax. I've spent a long time seeing myself change over time, and within the transfemme spaces I inhabited where a lot of women who didn't have the bodies of your average cis woman. They were taller, more broad, "harder" facial features.

And they were all beautiful. I'm going to be honest, there was a long time where it was difficult for me to see other trans women. I would be giddy over transition timelines, but I felt bad that I was seeing ways how they were different from conventionally attractive cis women. Too tall, too broad, jaw lines a bit too defined. I felt really bad about feeling that way.

But during my transition, I also began to recognize that many cis women also are not conventionally attractive. Yet they are no less beautiful for it. I decided I wanted to make my character more un-conventionally attractive. Closer to what I found attractive in those other women.

In a way, the fem Miqo'te and Au Ra models were the conventionally attractive choices in the game; round faces, small dainty features, soft jaws, lithe and thin bodies but with ample boobs. So I looked at the other races, and fell in love with face 1 fem hyur highlander.

Highlanders have so much tgirl swag!

Thus Alice's modern look was born! I made her to embody all the things I had anxiety about seeing in myself and other women; she is max height and muscular sliders (and max boobs cause of course). She is in-game equivalent of 6'5" (towering over my irl 5'6"), built like a brick house, and has sharp features that are (imo) clocky <affectionate> and proud of it.

While she isn't exactly [goals] for me (I lost a ton of muscle mass since starting hrt and don't see myself gaining it back anytime) seeing her gives me confidence and comfort with my own body, knowing that traditionally masculine traits can be embraced by women who are still undeniably feminine. She is The Boundless Queen and a small but important part of my transition these past four years!

As a parting gift, I want to recommend a video essay that I've watched (and been rewatching too) that has really resonated with me. It is Jessie Gender's "The Myth of 'Male Socialization'". A massive 4 hour video essay divided into two videos; the first covering the concept of modern masculinity as is imparted by our patriarchal capitalist zeitgeist, while the second video, called "Ending the Trauma of Antagonistic Masculinity", where Jessie discusses what we can build beyond the all-consuming black hole of masculinity we currently experience.

It's a unique and touching essay, especially as it stars a non-binary trans woman weighing in on masculinity, a topic we are rarely invited to, but that we have a unique experience in growing up with expectations impossible for us to live up to, and that cis men have more in common with us (and more to learn from us) than they might think.

10. Who is your favorite royal? Gosh, it's hard to choose, bc I actually like all of them a whole lot for different reasons, and also used every single royal as part of my main team for my first playthrough. So I'm cheating and saying all of them.

12. Who is your favorite retainer? Again, it's...hard to choose just one. Party bc the entire cast of Engage is so, so good and this is the first time I haven't been neutral or disfavorable towards at least one playable character for a FE game. I guess if I were to choose just one retainers per royal, I'd go with Clanne and Framme (bc there's only one "royal" for Lythos), Etie and Chloe, Amber and Citrinne, Zelkov and Rosado, and Pandreo and Panette...and Mauvier for being Veyle's only retainer.

14. Who is your favorite recruitable character of the ‘other’ category? Aside from Veyle who feels a bit too plot-important to slot into an "other category", probably Yunaka. She's such an interesting and fun character!

33/34. Did you give the Pact Ring to anyone? If so, who was the first person you gave it to? Pandreo, his supports with Alear are really sweet and I just love the two as a pair. Which is funny since I'm usually pretty neutral towards or just uninterested in most "avatar" pairings. Something about how well Alear's characterization and writing are handled I guess.

35. Spoiler slot! Talk about whatever spoilery thing you want and how you feel about it. (Ask this one at your own risk.) Hmm, I've vaguely mentioned this before but I find a lot of the recurring themes in Engage really fascinating, especially bc I actually think the story is one of the most well-written for a FE game I've yet seen, but like, how well the themes of the story echo through every part of it. I'm not gonna write an actual analysis essay or anything, but I wanna chat about the theme of identity and self a bit, bc it's like, amazing how interwoven that theme is into the fabric of the story. (under the cut bc spoilers, and of course, length)

So obviously there's Alear, whose entire arc is sort of "becoming the divine dragon", but like, it's also interesting to note that, as we see in the one cutscene where Past Alear gets zapped through the heart by Sombron and is "dying" in Lumera's arms, Alear says they want to be a good dragon, rather than a divine dragon per se. Which is a fascinating distinction bc like, while early game Alear comes to associate fell dragons as being "bad" and diving dragons as being "good" (though late-game Alear knows this isn't true), the story goes out of its way to show the audience that fell does not equal bad and divine does not equal good, since Veyle's true nature is incredibly kind, and even with all her divine power Lumera's still able to be brought back as a corrupted and twisted to try and kill her own child. So when Alear has the crisis about actually being a fell dragon, all their friends backing them up and talking Alear down from fleeing isn't just a really good bit of team dynamic writing, the scene also reaffirms the idea that it's not about whether Alear is fell or divine, but rather that Alear is actively choosing to do good and has, in that way, actively become the "good dragon" they wanted to be a thousand years earlier.

I feel like this sense of struggle between "who the character was and who they want to be" is echoed in a few other characters as well. The most obvious is Yunaka, who is at the active transition point between being an assassin and trying to be...well, literally anything else, but she's notably trying to become a better person. And we get to see her right in the messy part of trying to become someone she's never been but wants to be, where she doesn't know how "normal" people talk and act so she's trying out everything to see what fits in. And the neat thing is that she runs into Alear and friends who all just, more or less, accept Yunaka at face value. Alfred makes a point of telling her he doesn't care about her past and refuses to pry (although given that he's hiding secrets about his illness, is this even really surprising that he'd afford Yunaka the same privacy he wants for himself?), Alear also has no issues trusting Yunaka, and when Citrinne (who was deeply suspicious of Yunaka) learns all of Yunaka's story, Citrinne also moves to accept that Yunaka truly isn't an assassin anymore and is making strides to be someone better.

Everyone being so willing to accept and work with Yunaka really sets the narrative stage for the Elusian characters to switch sides and join the team, and even for Veyle and Mauvier to switch sides, bc we already know that Alear is willing to work with people who've done bad things in the past if they're willing to work towards being better and doing good (and this is, of course, also a major part of Alear's character arc, having gone from Sombron's pawn to actively fighting him).

It's just neat! I dunno, it's really interesting to see one type of character arc or narrative theme show up in so many different areas and reinforce the overall narrative. There's other characters who fit into this theme in some way or another (Panette going from being the fantasy equivalent of a biker thug to the prim and proper retainer, Kagetsu being a runaway prince, Amber trying so hard to become a hero of legend). But like, yeah! It's very, very good writing. I don't think most people give Engage the credit is deserves for it's writing bc it's actually so, so good.

YES OF COURSE I LOVE TALKING ABOUT THIS!!!! Here's my personal favorite lil changes I've done so far, which I've already mentioned: normal limbs Snorpy, flower crown Chandlo and Wambus' hat Beffica :D

Again. Cannot stress enough how much I hate working with code. It is a deep rooted grudge that I don't think I'll EVER fully get over. However it has been so worth it to just pop open these files and do whatever silly shit I want!! Originally it started as me just wanting to be able to set the characters back to their default models, because there's no way to do that in game!! But from there it escalated into me deep-diving for asset names in the code because Snorpy's "default" model has him still with a snackified arm and leg and I wanted a no-snack Snorpy!! From there I also found asset names for the other characters, and found out via using Beffica as a guinea pig in my hardlocked save that you can swap hats around to different characters!! Also I already tried it bc I was curious, but it looks like hats/hair are the only really character-specific asset you can swap between characters; I can't like, give Wambus Cromdo's legs if I wanted :/ but I can do stuff like I did above where I pass around hats to whoever I want :D There was another incident where I managed to open debug mode in my hardlocked save (I used that save to test basically everything before dragging it into my main save lol) and attempted to find asset names through that (did not work very well), but whenever I spawned a character in it'd throw me into an empty void and make the character spawn in, fall to their death, and spawn in again on an infinite loop lmao Here's a pic of that, though it's kind of unsettling, fair warning!! It features a fully snackified Snorpy in the void space, I managed to grab a screenshot before he fell this time lol

Overall though i've loved dissecting this game :D normally I'm just following guides, but so few people have done Bugsnax code dives and posted their findings that I just kinda had to do it all myself after learning the basics!! Genuinely it's not that difficult to do if you ever wanna try it out!! Just be careful not to accidentally delete something important, I'm not positive but I'm pretty sure that's how I managed to hardlock my original save lol

Can you tell us a bit of Fallon's childhood? Before being Queen, that is. And, more specifically but not required, about the more normal parts of her childhood, such as time she spent with her family, childhood friends, and one or two screw ups she did (and did she manage to save herself from being discovered or punished for them?)

Ofc!! (and I will never say no to more questions!!)

So, Fallon was an only child (for a number of reasons), and being the Heir meant that everyone was kind of wary of being her friend. Like, they didn't wanna screw up and get in trouble or something. So Fallon spent a lot of her childhood either alone or with her grandmothers.

When she was little, she'd always wander off and go exploring, hang out in the kitchens, watch them groom the horses in the stables, etc. She often tried to follow her mother around and see what she was up to, but it was a lot of boring meetings and conversations she didn't understand, so she'd get bored and go somewhere else.

Her grandmothers mostly looked after her when her mother was busy, which was often. (Not that Rosalynn didn't want to spend time with Fallon. She did. She hated being so busy that she couldn't be with Fallon. But she was the Queen, and she had a job to do.) Wymond (idk if it's worse to acknowledge his name or call him Fallon's father, but either way I hate him) was never around, and didn't care to spend any time with her, so like I said, it was all aboard the grandma bus.

Her grandmothers were really sweet and they would take her for walks in the gardens or picnics in the countryside or play games with her. And they would definitely sneak her extra sweets after Rosalynn said no. (But Rosalynn totally knew, lmao. She was definitely like "MOMS!", but not actually mad.)

Fallon's biggest screw-ups were really just going places she shouldn't or doing things she shouldn't. One time she totally ruined a dress because she was playing outside and it got absolutely wrecked. She didn't even try to lie, cause her mom and grandmothers knew her well enough to know that she didn't just fall or whatever she would have said.

Another time, she went riding, and her horse spooked, and she fell off and fractured her arm because she landed on it. (Hey, that's happened to me....) Rosalynn was mad, but more out of concern than anything else. Like "this could have been a lot worse, you were lucky" kind of thing.

Also, I've mentioned this a few times, but Rosalynn would always sing Fallon to sleep. (I headcanon that it's "Where Have All the Flowers Gone", or something similar, because the lyrics actually fit really well with Anvia's history.) She also would let Fallon sit at her vanity and brush her hair.

Fallon's first crush was the daughter of a visiting noble who would hang out in the gardens while her parents were talking to Rosalynn. Fallon kinda-sorta spied on her (she was 15, lmao), and eventually decided to go talk to her. They wound up dating for a few months, but broke up.

Oh, and one other thing. Every year for her birthday, instead of a cake, Fallon got a whole plate of strawberry jam pastries. She could eat as many as she wanted, and she usually tried to eat the same number as how old she was, but that rarely worked out, lmao.
