Hi lovely content creating friends!

I have noticed something weird going on when viewing posts in tumblr's mobile dark-mode. From experimenting on my own posts, it seems that unwanted formatting is carried over when copying and pasting from an external source (such as Google docs). It will look something like this in mobile dark mode, where regular text remains black and formatted text (such as itallics) becomes white:

Unfortunately, copying and pasting without formatting doesn't seem to be a quick fix since tumblr will treat this as one block of text (and it will likely exceed their 4,096 character limit per block).

So if you create content and want to make that content accessible to dark mode users, this is something you'll need to keep an eye out for. It goes without saying that if people can't read your content, it will impact your engagement.

If you want to avoid this happening with your posts, there are a few things you can look out for. If you switch the to the HTML editor for your post, you can usually find a tag that looks something like this: < span style = " color : # 000000 " >. This is carried over text formatting, and deleting any tags like this should solve the problem. Here's a short little tutorial on how to do this.

If you are posting something that's really long, like a story, then I would recommend translating your text into HTML and pasting it directly into the HTML Editor that I accessed in the video above. AO3 put together a beautiful Google Doc here that runs a script to convert all of your text into HTML. The instructions tell you exactly what to do, and since tumblr has made this change it has been life saving. You can find more about this doc and other neat tools from the @ao3org tumblr here.

Lastly, if you're a mobile dark mode user and you encounter a post that looks like this, rather than scroll past please consider switching to light mode or accessing the post from a computer. Please support content creators even if you have to go a little out of your way to do so 💕

😇✨ Sugar Daddy Lucifer Morningstar X Gender Neutral Sugar Baby Reader ✨😇

SUMMARY: you're the king of Hell’s favorite influencer and he wants to make it very clear how much he appreciates you and loves your content, thus starting a transactional relationship between the two of you that slowly turns into something more.

WARNING: light stalker stuff going on for a little bit lol ┐(￣ヮ￣)┌ also some sugar baby catching feelings for sugar daddy nonsense

(also- i'm using the terms "sugar daddy" and "sugar baby" pretty loosely, and there are no sexual transactions in this story)

NOTE: I keep going back and forth between saying “livestream” and “video,” so just assume that in the story y/n mainly does livestreams and uploads them as videos later.

•You started out as a humble influencer in Hell.

•What you didn't know is that you happened to be the favorite influencer of THE king of Hell Lucifer himself.

•I personally headcanon that when this man finds something he likes, he REALLY obsesses over it.

•I can imagine him laying in bed with a cozy blanket and a snack, kicking his knees while watching your latest upload.

•Not gonna lie Luci got kinda stalker-ish in order to find you and know you in person.

•He is the king after all, so therefore he has ways to find and keep track of his people.

•It started as him sending you money anonymously as a way to give his appreciation to his favorite content creator.

•You'd sometimes get small donations here and there from different people, but you definitely noticed the big donations you'd consistently get. Even though they were all anonymous, you assumed they were all from the same person because it was usually always an absurd amount of money to donate to an influencer.

•While livestreaming one day you mentioned that you wanted to find out who this anonymous donor was and somehow do something special to thank them.

•Lucifer NEVER misses one of your livestreams and felt extra fanboyish thinking about his fav influencer doing something special specifically for him.

•He knew he couldn't just message you and say “I'm your anonymous donor” because he didn't have a public account. If he were to message with his anonymous account saying that he's the king of Hell you'd obviously think he was lying.

•HERE is where his stalker era starts. 💀

•Luci comes up with this convoluted plan that actually somehow ends up working exactly the way he wanted.

•He happens to “find” you at a place he knew is your favorite café just outside of Cannibal Town.

•He pretends to just be casually walking by (well, as “casual” as the king of Hell can be)

”Oh hey! I've seen a few of your videos, I like your content!”

•You're absolutely baffled that the man in front of you praising your content is Lucifer himself.

•Lucifer invites himself to sit down with you, and how could you possibly refuse.

(He knows using his status to get what he wants is a lil problematic, but he easily pushes any guilt aside cuz he gets to be in your presence. He honestly wonders why he hadn't done this sooner.)

•He uses this opportunity to ask you a bunch of questions he's always wanted to ask, as if this were his personal Q&A with you. You happily answer his questions and even ask your own, eager to get to know Lucifer.

•Eventually he asks the main question that'll set his plan into place.

“Have you ever done any collabs?”

Of course he already knows the answer is no.

•”I've never asked anyone to collaborate with me, I'm a little insecure and automatically think they'll say no.”

•”I'm shocked! I'd personally love to be in one of your videos!” He boasts.

•Even though you've been talking for a while now, your brain still hasn't been fully able to compute that you're not only talking to Lucifer Morningstar, he says he enjoys your content, AND he just said he'd like to be in one of your videos.

•”Wha- I'm sure you've got so much more important things to do!”

•”I've got spare time!”

•When he realized he was probably starting to sound desperate, he backed it up a bit;

“I'm not trying to invite myself into one of your videos, but what I am saying is that IF I were one of those people you were to ask then I'd definitely accept your offer!” He twiddled his fingers nervously under the table, his smile never faltering.

•”oH I mean I do want to ask you- I am asking you!” You become just as nervous as Lucifer, fumbling over your words a bit.

•Before you can say anything else he raises from his seat and extends his hand out in agreement. “Sounds good to me!” You quickly stand to take his hand and shake it.

•The two of you calm down a bit and start discussing times and dates, even though Lucifer knows he's just going to accept whatever day you suggest and cancel any plans that he might already have for that day.

•Lucifer's little plot went perfectly.

•The day came when Luci got to feature in a video with his fav influencer.

•The video blew up super quickly, you gained a whole new wave of fame.

•Not only was he in the video with you, but he also got to spend the whole day with you.

•Somewhere along the way he kind of forgot that he was with his fav influencer and started to feel more like he was just hanging with a friend…which, honestly, he hasn't really had a friend in a long time.

•Also- you had noticed that during the stream with Lucifer you didn't get any donations from your special anonymous donor who never missed any of your previous streams.

•THIS MOMENT is where Lucifer knows he could potentially ruin everything with you, but he wants to be honest.

•He tells you that he's the anonymous donor, and that he can prove it with receipts. He admits that he didn't just casually watch your content like he said previously, and that he's actually a super huge fan. He doesn't go into detail about the stalker-ish extent he went to find you though.

•You take a second to process everything.

•I think if it were any other man you'd probably be a bit weirded out. It's definitely mainly because he's the king of Hell, but also he's just so charming that it's kinda hard for you not to be flattered.

•Now the king of Hell is in your phone contacts and you've got a viral video of the two of you together that shows literally everyone that you know him, it all feels so surreal.

•You still get donations from him on your streams, they still say they're anonymous but you know it's him.

•Lucifer calls you ALL THE TIME, usually to talk about absolutely nothing and everything at the same time.

•Suddenly he started showing up at your door with random gifts. Usually things that you mention very briefly on social media.

•Like one day you posted a pic on your story of a cute pair of shoes that you'd like to have, and the next day he's on your doorstep with a shoebox in hand.

•This escalated to him taking you out to dinner quite frequently, and he'd always go out of his way to reserve a special private area or even book out the whole restaurant.

•Then he started inviting you to visit him. Movie nights at his place, or he wants to show you something new he made.

•Eventually it turned into you staying the night at his place sometimes. You'd fall asleep during movie night and he didn't wanna wake you, or your home is just so far away and he didn't wanna let you go home in the dark.

•THEN it became you staying at his place for multiple days in a row, and sometimes it felt like you practically lived with him.

•You’d always ask Lucifer what you could do to repay him for all of the stuff he does for you, and he just replies that your company is enough to satisfy him and when you aren't around he still gets to watch your new videos.

•After getting to know the king of Hell over the span of almost a full year, you've come to realize that he was a pretty lonely man before you met him.

•He almost never talks to his own wife, whom you aren't even sure is his wife anymore. He rarely talks to his daughter, and is terrified of not being a good enough dad to her. Most of his time is spent home alone if he isn't tending to somekind of personal royal business.

•You knew Lucifer meant it when he told you that your company is enough to repay him.

•Somewhere down the line, you've started catching yourself contemplating your feelings for him.

•Don't get me wrong, he's always made you swoon and get flustered. It's really hard not to when a handsome man is literally handing you everything you want on a golden platter.

•There are much more raw moments you have with him, when you're just sitting on the couch together and you start to think about your possible future together.

•You usually end up getting slapped with reality when you remember who it is you're looking at. The king of Hell.

•Being in a relationship with a man of such status could never be in the cards for you. You're aware that you're basically just his sugar baby and that's probably all you'll ever be.

•You were definitely fine with the transactional relationship between the two of you, in fact you enjoyed it.

•Now, with these feelings constantly creeping up on you it made everything so much more complicated, and it made it hard for you to be around him knowing you'll never be anything more to him than a sugar baby.

•Lucifer is a sweet man, but you know there's another side of him that's a powerful king. His wife was an equally powerful queen. You're not enough for him, he just wants someone to keep him company.

•What you don't know is that while you're sitting there on the couch next to him having an inner depressive episode, he's got a box in his pocket that he's waiting for the perfect moment to whip out.

•In the box is a flashy custom engagement ring that he wants everyone to be able to see from a mile away.

•That man wants to make you officially his and he has been trying his hardest to make that VERY clear.

•You're just kinda insecure and don't think high enough of yourself. ಥ⌣ಥ

You don't have to answer this I'm just gonna bitch in your inbox about the x reader post you made because I felt this in my bones.

Like you really can't go in the tag for quality stuff lately. Everything is about sex. I'm not a prude. I read occasionally stuff, but omg, not everything has to be like this. Sometimes stories begin hopeful, but they end the same way. I'm just sick of it because it's all there is. And because it's so oversaturated, "normal" fics don't stand a chance because people don't click on that anymore. So yeah, as a creator, if I wanna get attention for my work, of course, I will produce stuff that people will read.

Also what you said about minors, how are they supposed to interact with fics if everything is porn.

In general, people are sooo fixated on "spicy" content. On tiktok, all people read is smut, or they can't handle other stuff. Literally, smut destroyed their brains. How is it any different than guys having a porn addiction?

Also, the tumblr tagging and searching functions are shit. I wanna find new fics from like 2020 or 2021 (before s4 bc I miss those vibes). When you go to the popular tag thing, the earliest you get is 2022. Like tumblr needs to fix that, so content from years ago can still be found. People also need to start tagging accordingly. It's such a pain.

Your presence on tumblr is a little comforting to me. I know that may sound sort of weird considering we’re strangers and never held a proper conversation. I remember when I first got into skz, they had just debuted and there really wasn’t a ton of content of them on tumblr but there were a few creators that I noticed often. And though I never really interacted a whole lot with those creators, it was nice to see them and get to know them from afar. I feel like many of those creators are either now inactive or deleted their account, which bums me out. You’re probably one of the only people who’s still here. And I’m not exactly sure what it is but it just feels a little comforting that you’re still around on tumblr. Maybe it’s the fact that we’re close in age? I did send a few asks in the past too and I remember you being very sweet to me…I actually just reread one of your responses to me and it made me cry a little (in a good way) since I’m not doing so great right now. Anyways, thank you for being here! I enjoy your content (including your rants) and I think you’re hilarious and sweet

OH BOY ARE YOU READY FOR SOME READING INTO THINGS BECAUSE I'VE ANALYSED THIS FOOTAGE TO DEATH AND IT'S BEEN 7 MONTHS SINCE I'VE LET THAT BRAINMONSTER ESCAPE (just found my own comment under that yt video yes *shame I commented things on youtube shame shh*) SO OH BOI OH BOIIII you probably don't even mean this one because there are a shitton of wild wild wiiillld larry interviews and I don't consider this one of them but still YES LET'S GO. under the cut because long:

Ok. Unpopular opinion incoming: Louis isn't whipped for the interviewer and Harry/Nialls reaction isn't laughing at that / not letting him talk for that reason. I mean he might as well be but that's not why they're behaving like that. Instead I think they're in some kinda stupidass game here because this is One Direction we're talking about and god forbid these weird lil we might be media trained but we're gonna find each and every way possible to mess with each other (oh god I didn't mean it like that but yeah ok that's a pun) especially while we're supposed to behave and here I think something like that is happening.

Liam is trying to not let Louis speak, Louis is trying to not let Liam speak, and Niall and Harry are trying to not let either of them speak. Why? Because 5 idiots? Because they're always playing secret lil subtle games or whateverthefuckthey'redoing? I kinda talked about this recently for other reasons but there's some good examples in there too. And Zayn's there just... signing away!? I don't know what's prompting one to say shit and why that's setting the other off because I mean obviously whatever this is the viewer isn't in on it. It's their inside joke. It seems to me that they're trying to get certain words in over the others or something? Maybe? I'm not sure.

What I think is happening here is that just before this segment they were probably being oddly specifically pushy about who stands where, and the interviewer's just breaking the silence asking them why and then what's on tape here is Liam/Louis trying to explain away to the not-in-on-their-silly-little-games-interviewer why they're behaving the way they are with some total bullshit. They're talking about who is standing where and I think Liam says "you know what he has to be in the middle he's [??standing out you know??]? That's the way it works." I can't tell if he's talking about Louis or Niall. Also note how Liam is physically keeping check/controlling Louis, which again makes me think they're in the middle of some bullshit competition game against each other here. Just a bunch of kittens playfighting but make it subtle alskdjalksjdla.

Then ~keep in mind they probably think the filming hasn't started yet as this is before the interview~ Harry is being an introverted relatable queen noticing something and wanting to change it but not doing anything about it and whispering whatever's bugging him to the closest person he's comfortable with that can fix it for him instead and that's Niall. Ok that's a lot of projecting but it's clear he's pointing something out, and Nialls reaction shows he's checking out whatever Harry is talking about immediately. And welp what Niall does is going for a full body scan of Louis. Sooooo yeah that gives a ton away. I watched this many times till I think I figured something out that makes enough sense to move on with my life. I think Harry comments on Louis' suit and how he has to unbutton his jacket. They've both shown to be that kinda boyfriend that's looking out for each other's appearances ("not sure about your fringe", covering each other [like literally blocking the view] when something's not fitting right etc) and he has decided Louis would probably look better if he'd fix his jacket... This because in the inaudiable part he might be mouthing "button" and it's what Nialls looking at as well (I'm trying hard here lol, trying to lipread istg I'm going DEEP here) then Niall instinctively wants to inform Louis, his left arm goes in for it but then changes his mind and fixes his glasses instead. It could also be that Nialls reaction isn't a body check but a reaction to Louis' hand flopping there tho and he's just looking a that instead but it looks like a scan to me lol. For Harry's second sentence to Niall I also kinda hear "don't let him speak" (which fits with the upcoming Harry urging Niall to answer the questions / not letting the others speak so aslkdjal) but really it could be anything as it's just a mumble. Anyway. Last we have Zayn who is just seeing it all unfold as usual. He's also possibly physically responding to whatever Harry just said, he mirrors what Niall seems to look out for? If that makes sense? He checks his own suit. And then there's the first self-first-bump which I still don't know what the fuck it is but it's definitely something he does loads in interviews and here he just keeps on going. But let's write it off as just a i-don't-know-what-to-do-with-my-hands-thing.

OK SO THEN the interview starts and again see Liam holding Louis in check here right, he grabs his neck and pulls on his hair. Louis goes in hard with "OH YEAH WE'RE REALLY EXCITED" and Harry just nearly pisses himself which looks familiar. And if there's anything you can take away from these idiots it's definitely that they'll sneak in a penny's joke anywhere and everywhere and maybe this is another one. But maybe it's not that. Or maybe it's both. Because both Liam and Niall are as on edge as Louis trying to jump in to answer here and they both get denied thanks to Louis' loudness.

The SHEER LEVEL OF ENTERTAINMENT on Harry/Niall from Louis being excited or Niall being denied to talk is just way way way too great for being just because of that alone. That's why I think it's a game. That's why I think Louis is playing it really well right here and they're all not letting each other talk and they're just that entertained by Louis' competitiveness.

And then we see Louis being really proud especially when Niall laughs that he just did that. He keeps checking all the boy's reactions and making a :> :>>>> face which like... did what exactly? And they all know he just did that and is doing it well and he's all happy and bouncy because he's just being great at whatever this lil menace behavior is. Then we got Zayn doing the lil self-fist-bump again wahtever the hell that is too. We also got Louis checking for Harry's reaction real quick a whole bunch of times which is cute af. Not to mention Nialls reaction to Louis' behavior is also checking for Harry's reaction which is perhaps even cuter af (and also sign no 2800003096 that yep they're so fucking married really look at Niall go oh this one did something lemme just check in with the other half yep they're one fking entity wbk)

And I just wanna highlight this frame real quick because 1) LOL but 2) my brain's just seeing fetus larry here and it is waayy too much to handle wtf me but 3) ziam is a wholeass other mood ASDASHK THERE'S 3 BRAINS HERE

So you see they're all trying to answer. At least all but Zayn. Check all of them one by one lol they're all trying to catch that mic. And I think Nialls maybe the most nervous playing along but he's doing it. You see Harry going "go go go" to Niall. And I think Louis' reactions here aren't him being a weird lil peacock meerkat interested in the interviewer but just very god damn competitive and way way too invested in this game asldkjal AND WHATS EVEN BETTER HERE IS LOUIS LETTING NIALL HAVE IT BECAUSE HIS MAN WANTS THAT MAYBE NOT EVEN CONCIOUSLY asdasfsdg actually look at both Louis and Harry being so worked up and in this and also the fking wiggly leggies ladksjalkj help.

Ok ok ok so I think at 0:40 Niall says "bruv". He's deadass calling the interviewer "bruv" and that might just be ~the game~ here? Like they're just being some pasty dorky gangsters? ????? Seriously go listen and see their reactions when he does it. Harry cracks the fuck up, Liam sees his life passing him by (??? Does that mean he lost?! Why is he the only one being this unentertained by it?), Louis goes for some Jim Halpert staring at the camera what about it moment, Harry cracks the fuck up again, Zayn laughs too, Nialls really trying to make it look like that came naturally to him.

The next time (0:49) the interviewer hands over the mic there's ALL OF THEM AGAIN trying to answer it. Again it's Louis being the most persistent shit. And Liams pretty aggressive with this one too lol (you gotta hear him go listen), then they crack up again at Louis using the word "bonkers", also hear both Niall and Zayn repeat the word as well.

Then there's a longass time where Louis just seems to not agree with what someone behind the camera is trying to tell him. He's making big eyes, rolling his eyes, shaking his head, saying no, like he's turning them down, going "no it's not" or something. It's subtle at first, starts around 1:01 and lasts until about 1:33

Ok I'm gonna stop here because that's 10 gifs and that means I'm out of space (couldve made this in another mode, didn't, oop) and there's just so much shit going on here and it's SO CHAOTIC. There's a whole thing with hammering on Niall doing an accent and Harry just keeps on repeating "so good" with an australian accent, and Niall absolutely looses is utter sheit when Harry says ~something~ presumably in that accent. And then the whole mess with the wheel? And how it ends? The CHAOS? It's great.

Happy birt- Err, New ye-, not yet, ehm, Holidays! We're sooo close of Christmas, i can't believe it!

(Ponytail Andreu cuz here is very hot help)

Oh! And I'm planning on doing a 60 Parsecs! event with all of ya here on Tumblr. I'll keep the details to myself, tho. And.. if I have issues due to personal things I will delay it post-Christmas or cancel it altogether. Don't worry, you, the one reading this, don't have to do anything...

Besides being "noticed" by me. If you are in the Parseconds fandom and I don't know you, do a shout out! It's mostly for keeping us together as a community, yunno'. And if you know me, like, just a little bit, maybe you viewed a random drawing of mine, or the 6 Fingered Baby thingy (Yes i find it heheheheh), just feel free to comment and share! This isn't for a personal reason, I just want to keep us more united, it's been more than 2 whole years since 60 Parsecs! released came out. And why not use Christmas as a common day to show that we are still here?

And, even if you don't know me, like, for nothing, and you think something in the lines of "This is very annoying im gonna scroll fast bye", wait. Maybe another creator shared this and you are seeing it rn. Don't worry, if you don't want to share this I have no problem whatsoever; you don't even have to leave a heart, neither for the ugly af drawing up there. Maybe we needed a break, right?

And even if you aren't part of the fandom anymore and you don't post any of Parsecs/Seconds content anymore and this enlightened a memory deep inside just leave a lil' heart.

This game isn't very popular, but Hell it gives me memories and good times.

Either this or the future post that i will do reveling more details can be used as a centre for all of us to join, but the idea is that the latter would be used for this purpose.

Personally, i have quite a handful of people in my mind, but, the idea is that all, or, the mayority at least of the fandom and random people that liked the game when it come out or in any other time, have a chance to share memories, space, and or even lil' gifts.

The said event will either be in the 24, day before chistmas, the 25, or the day after, the 26. If i don't post anything, the chances are that either i died, personal things, or the internet dies here, i hope that neither of those things happen!

Anyways, i will keep planning my things, hope y'all are doing well!
