#song of the day#cooking all my dinner singing 'I shine only with the light you gave me' over and over again. nearbout to going out my mind#I sang 'Drinkin Me Lonely' by Chris Young and then I sang 'If You Can Do Anything Else' by George Strait#and then I sang 'Jacky Don Tucker' by Toby Keith /and then/ I sang 'There's a Cowboy in the Jungle' by Jimmy Buffett!!#and still as soon as I finished a song and went to my next task there I was again. 'I shine only with the light you gave me'#not any other lines to the song--I couldn't tell you today if I've ever known them all well enough to sing without the backing#but I certainly don't know any of the rest of the song tonight. just the one line on a quick little loop#after near onto three hours of it I finally realized it's the name of the fic open on my phone#my phone died halfway through the story and I hadn't gotten back to it#(firefox is a miracle and would've given me the link if I'd looked for it but I just hadn't yet. there's other things open on my laptop)#and apparently instead of ever actually thinking 'I would like to finish that fic' my brain was just reminding me of the title. in song.
